The clifftop? Was that where this voice had been coming from? While Olliver had been rather keen to get out of these mists, he wasn't all that prepared to climb up a mountain. It wasn't as though he didn't have other options available to him of course. "Trying to find a way out? Of course I am! But only after I recover at least one thing from this place! I mean, think of it.. There has to be loot hidden somewhere in all this mess!" Taking a moment to step away from the tree branch that he had just bumped into, Olliver would begin to filter through his menu. He would than select the movin' shop option and would allow for his ability to charge up.

"This is going to take me a moment so.. Just wait up! And let me know if you see any monsters lurkin' about!" It quite honestly wasn't the best of ideas for the two to be shouting back and forth like this. Not when they had been stuck within an area that they could both not see in all that well and that they didn't truly understand. There could be anything out in these mists.. It's also possible that the mist itself was the entity to be worried about! Olliver had seen that movie and he was not about to go out in that manner.

Unbeknownst to the heavier set gentleman, there had already been something watching him through the mists. Or someone. It was hard to tell what exactly this being had considered itself at this point. With the changes in the world, anyone and everyone could be considered something different. Sometimes less human than before. This being.. It was hungering. For as long as it had been trapped within these lands, it had held this hunger. And right now? Well there was a rather plump pig simply waiting to be roasted and devoured. One that was slowly, but surely, beginning to have these small flicker of lights forming around their person.

As the plump man had begun to spiral, it would begin to seem as though fate was prepared to reward him. Rather than allow for him to fail in this moment, the world would instead turn things in his favor. Not only had one of the individuals whom he had spotted beforehand now come to talk to him, but it would appear as though she was a mercenary of sorts. Someone that he could pay to take care of things for him. Exactly the kind of thing that he was going to need right about now. This fascinating creature had gone by the name of Nubia and apparently she was willing to assist him? Only if he could get his shit together of course. And as long as he was capable of assisting her with his knowledge of these Grecian beasts. "Er.. Right! I'm Olliver. Sounds like you've got yourself a deal!"

It wasn't that long after that a massive creature would begin to slither its way on over towards the duo, it's lower half being that of a snake and it's upper half having been seemingly human. "Oh fuck.. A Naga." Or at least one of the various takes on a Naga. From Olliver's understanding of such creatures, the best way to combat such a beast was from afar. They tended to act far too swiftly for most people to handle on their own. If this Nubia would have had some kind of bow and the capability to gain some distance, he was sure that the two of them would have survived. Here and now though? While she only held a knife? It was quite possible that this luck of his had just run dry.

Or so he had thought. Rather than allow for him to be devoured by the massive beast, Nubia would push Olliver off to the side and out of harms way. This would be followed up by a devastating blow to the beast with the crimson edged dagger. The attack had even come with its own name! In all honesty, if it wasn't for the fact that his life was in immanent danger, Olliver might have felt as though he was in some kind of animated tv show. "Holy shit!"

Knowing that he had to try and find some kind of way to prove useful here, given that this woman quite clearly didn't actually need him and his knowledge, Olliver had started to freak out internally. He wasn't sure what he was going to have to do to survive here.. Just what benefits could he possibly have here?! That is when his menu would pop up. More accustomed to seeing a holographic display crop up in front of him now, especially considering the fact that there were monsters here that were far more horrifying, Olliver would try to push past his worried and filter through the display. There were abilities listed there.. and of course none of them had been beneficial in terms of a fight. There had been one that could assist him in running away though! "Nubia! Take off! I'll catch up to you and guide you along the way if need be!" Knowing that this was his only real option here, Olliver would opt to activate his ability: movin' shop. It might take a bit to allow for the ability to charge up but.. That was a risk that he was going to have to take.

While he may have looked a bit like an idiot at the start of this whole thing, after having charged up a bit, that was about to change. Seemingly created from nothingness, a sphere of stars would begin to burst into being around the man. As this would happen, his body would begin to lift off of the ground, sending him careening into the air a few feet. He still hadn't been all that used to these powers of his but.. Well at least this was the only one that he had to worry about actively controlling. "W-whooaaa~"

A couple of moments would pass before the heavier set gentleman would manage to stabilize himself. Once he had managed to do so though, Olliver would offer Felicity a wink before preparing to take off down the road. "Let's see how well that ol' bike of yours can keep up!" And with that, Olliver would shoot off down the road, going a pace of forty miles an hour. Of course he wasn't all that sure how fast Felicity's bike was or how many monsters might have been lurking around the area. Whilst he may have been safe from any of the grounded beasts, he would need to be sure to keep a lookout for any aerial creatures. And well.. Even whilst flying overhead, he would be sure to keep a firm gaze on the girl below. He couldn't allow anything to happen to a potential trading partner, now could he?

Some kind fucked up anime apocalypse. This was by far the most apt description that the man had heard thus far. If he had been remembering correctly, there were a few animated shows that happened to have a relatively similar setting to the one that they had now been a part of. If it were possible for him to dig up some info on these shows than perhaps he could learn a bit more about such situations? Of course doing so via the internet was out the window. Phones and laptops had been good for none of that any longer. Maybe he could start to trade around for some of those books? Manja? Moongu? Something like that.

Rather than dwell on that particular subject, Olliver would raise up a single hand and begin to tap away at the side of his head. "According to the system, my anchor is something a bit different. I suppose that it wasn't easy enough to define in more than a few words. I wish that it was something physical though." A bit of laughter would continue to follow the mans words before he had begun to lean further in towards the back. "If you really don't mind driving me around this place than it would honestly be quite appreciated. I'd rather not ride bitch though so.. Perhaps I can simply follow you in my own way?" It was with this that a subtle smirk would don upon the mans lips. "I guess that you could say that it's time to pack up and move shop." Although the man himself hadn't actually seemed to have been doing anything after making his pun, it was rather clear that something was supposed to happen.

The questions that she had had for him were quite honestly rather good ones. Just what had been happening here? Aside from what he had known from the online forums and from his own tutorial, this all had something to do with this Earth-Chan. Whoever they were, they must have been quite the individual to alter the world in such a way. Or perhaps it was solely Olliver's perception of the world that had been changed. Honestly, there wasn't really any way for him to come upon any actual answers. Not yet. But perhaps in time he could buy those answers? Time would be quite telling in this regard.

"You must have chosen one hell of a class if you are capable of taking to the road on that thing. If I had known that it was possible to bypass the system in some regard than I might have... Well I suppose that there weren't many options for me. There was only one class option for me so it's not like I could have swindled my way out of this fate." A bellow of laughter would begin to escape from the mans lips as he had begun to extend his own hand out towards Fliss. All that it would take was but a single shake for the mans smile to grow ever larger. "I myself am from these parts actually. Or I was. Albeit there isn't much left for me out here. Not now. Honestly surprised that I could even make my way back out here after the light had shot me off somewhere else. Guess that's Earth-Chan for ya."

Turning his attention away from the woman for a moment and down towards her bike, Olliver would begin to look over every ounce of the bike that his eyes would permit. It was truly a thing of beauty.. and one that he was hoping to perhaps see more of in the future. "Given that this thing has to do with your class, I'm assuming that you can't really get rid of it. You can opt to sell other things though! And well, if you happen to have any other functioning bikes laying around, I would be glad to take it off of your hands."

Ever since he had completed his tutorial, Olliver had found himself porting from location to location. 'Thank the Gods for these waypoints. Or.. Earth-Chan. Whoever the hell is in charge up there now.' Much like many of the others within this new world of theirs, Olliver had found himself wish a rather strong desire to explore each of the newfound zones that had become available to him. It was almost as if a sense of wanderlust had been installed within the man. 'Honestly.. This is so much more convenient than having to hop on a plane and fly from one place to another. I suppose that there are monsters now but.. eh. Those are simply things that can be overcome. For now? Well I should really try and find a place to set up shop. Perhaps this Hub that I keep hearing about. We'll see.' Aside from the wanderlust, Olliver had found himself desiring to explore higher risked areas for two simple reasons. The first reason was because of the possibility of encountering higher rewards here. And the second? Well if he were going to acquire rewards, than he could turn a profit!

Unsure of where exactly he had been in the moment, Olliver would attempt to survey his surroundings. He had known that he was in some place known only as the Forgotten Mists but.. Well, did the mist have to be so literal? He could barely see ahead of him at this point! And that horrid stench.. Did a skunk die or something? Honestly, she really should have read up on the location more before selecting it. "Damn.. How am I suppose to gather valuable treasures to flood the economy with if I can barely see?!" A slight irritation had certainly begun to wash over the man as he had tried to move about the area. Given that he couldn't really see where he was going though.. Well it would be of no surprise that he had found himself bumping into something. Or someone.

Much like those around him, as the light had begun to fade from his eyes, Olliver had found himself behind some kind of tree within a forest. The fact that he had managed to so blatantly get transported from one location to another in the link of an eye had astonished the stout man. Was this perhaps something to do with the title of the class that he had chosen? Space Trader. All in all, there was no real telling what exactly was going on.. All that had made sense to the merchant in this moment was that he was somehow outside of the first class seats that he had just been relaxing on.. and his laptop was left behind.

Both intrigued yet furious by whatever it was that had been happening at this moment, the man would begin to push himself off of the ground. He had collapsed onto his ass after he had been transported on over. No doubt for nothing more than this Earth-Chan getting their kicks in. "What in the world is possibly going on now? Those damned obelisks.." Whilst rubbing his head in irritation, Olliver would allow for an exasperated sigh to leave his lips. How could he take advantage of a situation in which he hadn't really understood what was going on? Almost as though Earth-Chan had heard his worries, another holographic window would appear before the man. This time however, it would seem as though the pop up had been notifying him of a tutorial that he would need to partake in. One that might quite possibly lead to death if he wasn't ahead of the game...

Never before in his life had Olliver been so distraught over his weight. Compared to the majority of those that had been teleported to this location, he was quite likely to be the slowest. "Well.. shit." In all honesty, things might be able to go well if he is capable of bribing those around him to assist him. In a matter of life and death though.. Well there was no telling if he could possibly convince someone to aid him here. Knowing that he simply wasn't prepared for things to end here, Olliver would begin to look around at those that had been within the area. Out of everyone here, there had been two people that had stood out the most. A silver haired young man and an extremely beautiful young woman. 'I suppose that it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on these two.. Mayhaps I can convince them to carry me through this whole ordeal? Figuratively of course' A sly smile had begun to creep upon the mans lips for a ghost of a moment before he would contort his face into one of worry.

"W-what is going on here?!" A cruel ruse to try and win some others over to his side. "Greek mythology? Why are my college courses coming back to haunt me now?!" A truly pitiful display.. Yet one that he was hoping would win him some sympathy. Of course it was no guarantee that such a thing would work. After all, he wasn't the only person that had been losing their marbles over the entire ordeal.

Times Square, New York. Now this was a place that Olliver was starting to think that he would never come back to. After everything that had happened during his trial, and the events preluding to Earth-Chan's intervention in his life, coming back here had honestly seemed like a pipe dream. Prior to his arrival via waypoint, Olliver had been off somewhere rather distant. He is fairly certain that it was in Greece but.. honestly, he couldn't really tell. Not that he had cared all that much. After all, he had managed to survive and make it onto another day. A day in which he could sit back and continue his various acts of trade. 'Honestly, with this newfound class of mine, there is no way that I won't reach the top. All that I have to do is build up a few trustworthy people and have them help me set up shop in The Hub. Once they trade me some decent goods, I'll be fully capable of exploiting the system. Having to bare witness to such a vastly full city being overrun by monsters and nature.. Well it wasn't all that exhilirating. There wasn't really much that he could do to protect himself at the moment so he was going to have to use most of, if not all of, his time playing it safe. Thankfully he had come here with a purpose because if he hadn't, he was sure that he would have gotten lost to the city. 'Alright. All that I am really hoping for at the moment is to find my old office. Even with such an idea in his mind, Olliver had known that it was going to be difficult to maneuver through these monster flooded streets. Even just coming this far from the waypoint, he had gone on to see a wealth of vicious creatures. Goblins, Orcs, Skeletons, Slimes.. You name it! If it was in a fantasy game at some point than it was probably seen in these streets. "Right.. So where exactly is it? With all of these buildings having stretched so high into the sky, can I really even track the place down? Honestly... How could the majority of the functions on this phone have stopped working.. My laptop too. This whole damn thing is so exhausting."

As Olliver had continued on his way, his gaze would eventually find something far more exciting than his former place of employment.. Sitting there, atop an intricate looking motor bike, had been by far the most fit biker babe that he had ever laid eyes upon. Her entire figure had been rather seductive and truth be told.. It was rather distracting. But wait... Was she actually able to use this thing? As far as he had been aware, some kind of restriction had been placed upon all vehicles by Earth-Chan. Honestly rather curious to determine just whether or not she had managed to bypass the lock somehow, Olliver would begin to close the distance between the two of them. "Well hello there~ Might I ask you a rather quick question? Are you perhaps able to properly utilize that bike of yours..? And if so, just how in the hell did you manage to find a way to do that?" Yet another gamble that had left him with that exhilarating high. Even information could be traded.

Despite all of the fun that he was having whilst making business deal after business deal, the media was finally coming after him. He had been deemed as a scalper of sorts and was actively being discredited by thousands of people that had never met him. At the rate that things were going, no one was ever going to trade with him again.. "Fuck.. What am I going to do? I can't get my kicks in if no one is willing to work with me.." The very thought of his fun having come to an end was exhausting. So exhausting that all that he could do was ask for a drink. [break][break] With a single hand massaging the bridge of his nose, Olliver would begin to use the other to wave over a flight attendant. Given the fact that he had currently been sitting in first class, it wouldn't be all that long before one of the attendants would make their way on over to him. "I'm going to need a jack and coke.. Preferably now, if you don't mind." The flight attendant would proceed to nod before heading off to get him what it was that he had been asking for. As he had waited for her, Olliver would return back to his laptop and would begin to see what else was going on in the news. Surely there was something more fascinating to speak about than him. And that was when he had seen it. Talk of terrorist attacks washing over the world. Reports of these strange obelisks having broken forth from the ground below, now encompassing every city and every ocean. From the look of things.. It wasn't going great down below. Knowing that there was really only one way to find out, Olliver would open up the porthole of his window and begin to peer outside. And as he had done this, his eyes would fall upon definitive proof of what was being spoken about.. Floating there, beside the plane, had been a massive obelisk. "I.." It would begin to seem as though Olliver wasn't the only one to have noticed this as various screams would sound out all throughout the plane. Shouts of aliens were escaping the lips of many others and quite honestly, it was a decent enough assumption. 'I have to learn as much as I can about this while I have the chance.' When getting this bonus loot, you'll be treated as having +3 luck more than normal! Not only that but from now on, after you've done a trade with the same person more than 3x, they will become a VIP customer and you'll begin to earn even more additional rewards than before. These additional awards will appear each time you trade with that VIP customer and have a chance to be based on them.

PASSIVE (s): Discerning Eye - By focusing you are able to see people's levels as well as general information about the environment around you. (Material, soil type, wind pressure, etc). This does not analyze living creatures (that aren't items). This vision is impaired by material. You can passively see the stat rank of items that have them assigned to them and Item descriptions of items that you touch. Once per month, you can forcibly summon “The Forge” into a topic (via mod request). Whenever you are inside The Forge you can appraise items with better efficiency. There is a chance of some items having a [hidden feature] that you can bring out. This is done by a roll of 1d50 only, allowing for a single additional ability to be added to the item upon rolling a 30 or higher. [break]
-Once per post, you can damage a target with a piercing glare to attempt to “dismantle” the target through appraisal. You can lock on to a target, this is displayed as a visible glowing coin on the target at your [SPD] and deals piercing damage equal to your [MAGI] -1 rank. Additionally, you can designate a target, and If your [MAGI] is higher than the opponent's [WIL] you can see the name, duration, clashing stats (I.e. [WIL] Vs [PWR], etc), and cooldown information of a single in use ability of the target.[break]
-Once per post, if your [WIL] is greater than the target's own you can cause your eyes to begin to glow and can see their immediate surface thoughts or feelings as the system will create blurb bubbles of them. There are different ways of measurement and progression thus these blurb bubbles could be pure gibberish of one’s mind and emotions or coherent thoughts. The Space Trader is a merchant-type class that uses some form of space travel to warp to any location. They collect and sell rare items to others, and profit in multiple ways when doing so. When completing missions or dungeons, you will gain access to a set of three special 'galaxy chests' that only you can unlock. These chests have special loot inside with the [trader] tag. Each of these three chests will have a special emblem on the lid of the chest noting what sort of loot may be found within them. The first chest will have a sword and shield on the lid. This chest grants items that are either weapon or armor based. The second chest will have a diamond on its lid. Items in this chest will be accessories, trinkets, and other odds and ends. The third chest will have a question mark on its lid. Items in this chest have the potential to be anything including pets and other limited items. Items with this tag cannot be used by you, but you can sell them to other players/ site stores. These items must be traded to other character's icly before making the staff request.

The irises of your eyes have small 1s and 0s in them that seem to make your eyes always sparkle. Your pupils can change shape into dollar signs without it affecting your sight.

You can cause a buff or debuff by 1 Rank of a single “[core]” stat of your choosing, to targets 15 meters around. If your [MAGI] is higher than the targets [WIL] targets that are buffed have their cooldown to a single ability decreased by 1 post and targets debuffed have their cooldown to a single ability increased by 1, said ability is decided by you. Eagle Eyes - [Appraised] A bronze helmet fashioned like a hawk, when worn, it grants the wearer +30mph to flying speed (if any). Ollie, the Bronze Hawk, has detected some additional features of the helmet. The helmet, when worn, will now allow you to see with pinpoint accuracy up to 50 meters + your [WIL] ## in distance. This vision can pierce through even solid objects giving you X-ray vision. This cannot auto-detect those hidden with abilities, items, or skills but can see through them if your [WIL] is greater than that person's stat being used. You can only use the heightened vision and x-ray for two posts at a time before it goes on a three-post cooldown. [break][break]

Boogieman’s Razor - Once per every two posts, you can slash at the air causing a portal to rip open. Out from his portal a massive burst of dark purple slime will engulf any incoming projectile attacks that come within 5 meters of it. If your [MAGI] is greater than the incoming ability’s [PWR] , you’ll suck it into the Boogieman’s realm. Once inside, it will become corrupted and sinister. You can release it at any point in the thread, treating it as if you cast that ability. Your [PWR] stat will be considered +1 rank when applied to this emerged ability. You can only store one ability at a time. This blade can also once per post deal basic damage based on your [PWR] stat, capping out at A rank.

[trader] granny’s choice - [Appraised] A pair of knitting needle shaped knives. Great for stabbing or using to craft fun homegoods for your friends. The sharp tips can do [PWR] rank in damage per post up to A rank. A mystical power is bestowed upon these needles allowing you to call forth yarn from the tips 3 times a thread, the yarn is super tough and slightly sticky. The yarn will ensnare the feet and cause those with [PWR] less than the users [DEF] to take a 50% [SPD] reduction for one post. Alternatively, you can use the needles to weave clothing for you or a party member. This grants a temporary armor that can protect against incoming attacks. It can withstand up to your rank in [DEF] in damage before breaking.[break][break]
[trader] Laser Pointer- It is simply a laser pointer that works when it wishes. Three times during a thread for one post it will work. When it does a distracting light is made that seems to call to the very soul beasts. All beast type monsters (meaning not golems, undead, humanoid intelligence, and similar) will have their [WIL] decrease by 30% as they try to resist chasing the light.

If their [WIL] is below the caster's [MAGI] stat, the target will also shrink in size by half! This cannot stack. This can deal melee damage scales with your [PWR] -1 rank up to B-rank.

Spear Of Destiny A spear that always strikes true whether thrown or used as a melee weapon. Its ability prevents it from being dodged by anyone who's [SPD] is-1 rank lower than the users, but it can be blocked. You are able to strike once per post dealing basic damage at -1 rank your [PWR]. Spear travels at the user's speed.

Storm Dragon's Medallion A simple gold medallion of an Asian-style dragon wrapped around a cloud with bolts of lightning poking from it. While equipped, they will have their melee attacks treated as having lightning backing as well as having lightning coursing through their body heightening their movement. They will have their [SPD] increased by +30% while equipped. Once per post, you are able to infuse a single melee blow with lightning causing it to have an additional burst of damage applied. This burst is equal to your [MAGI] stat -1 rank.

Stone Bear's Stiff Coat A ragged fur coat with bits of rock and dust in it. Its looks are not what makes it really worth it. The coat acts like armor equal to your [DEF] stat. Once per three posts, you can cause the coat to become completely stone. Upon doing so, increase the coat's [DEF] capabilities by +1 rank. The armor naturally recovers 20% of the damage done to it every other post.

backstory
If there is really anything to be said about Olliver Samovar, it is simply that he knows what he wants and busts his ass to attain it. Ever since he was young, Ollie had found himself to be a rather huge fan of acquiring things. Collectable Cards, Toys, Paintings, etc.. He had loved it all. It wasn't so much the fact that he had been acquiring these things that he had enjoyed but the act in which he had gone about acquiring them. Trading away his trash for the rush of this treasure was more than enough for him. Of course it didn't exactly hurt that he would continue to grow in wealth, over the years, through practicing this act. Unfortunately his parents couldn't exactly agree with the sentiment. While they might have admired how business savvy their child had been, the fact that he had essentially been extorting others out of their goods.. Well it was something that they simply couldn't abide by. It is for this reason that they would outright refuse to assist him in advancing his future once he had been old enough to attend college. They didn't wish to see the kind of man that he could become with a business degree beneath his belt. Not after they had seen how far some people were willing to go to get him whatever it was that he had wanted.. Regardless of whether or not his family was willing to help him, Olliver had already determined that he was going to work on achieving this goal of his. With that having been the case, young Olliver would eventually go on to obtain his business degree, having bartered his way throughout the entirety of his college career. This would allow for him to live a rather comfortable life for quite some time! That was at least.. until the world had begun to change, thanks to Earth-Chan.[break][break]
