After the events of his tutorial, Sebastian decided it would probably be good to reach out and get to know Nubia and Ollie better, maybe even forming a team or something as they tried to figure out where to go from here with things. He was pretty sure that neither of them knew much more than he did but it didn't hurt double check and collaborate stories in his opinion.
He decided that he was going to speak with Nubia first as she seemed to be the more receptive and open to the two plus the fact that she was a mercenary which was something that he had in common with her and could use to keep the conversation going. There was also the fact that Ollie's actions during the minotaur fight irritated him somewhat as he had simply stuck back and didn't do a single thing to help. It wasn't that surprising given that the pudgy man had no physical capabilities but he could still have attempted to do some sort of interference or something in that fight.
Opening his menu screen, Sebastian sent a message to Nubia asking if she would be free to meet up for a quick chat and potentially go and hunt some monsters for some extra rewards.

Nubia had only been in the hub for a short while but she liked what she saw, she was surprised that the egotistical computer program/ alien/ whatever the fuck that changed the world the way it did had even bothered to make such a thing let alone giving people safe zones. Though she supposed it was better than letting people die, after all, she figured that the population of the world had been cut down at least by over half of what it used to be, and that was being extremely generous. Nubia didn't know just exactly to what extent all this would play out too but what she did know was that this was most likely just the beginning. [break][break]
She opened up her menu to send a message to Olliver for them to meet up, after all, she wanted to talk business and she had gotten some word about the medallions they got during their tutorial, apparently using them caused some kind of effect. As to what she had no clue but she did want to test it out. She waited for him to arrive simply waving "hey," to him as he arrived. Though before the conversation could continue she was given a notification. [break][break]
She clicked open her menu, scrolling through it her eyes trailing with quick and casual ease as a smile promptly settled on her face. "Oh, looks like we get to meet up with spidey boy again, apparently he wants to hunt and chat. I figure what the hell, why not?" she said making her way over toward the nearest waygate. He had apparently been in some place called the Forgotten Mist, she had no clue what the hell that place was, but all she needed was a location, thus she stepped through the waygate, awash in a ray of light. Upon stepping out of the waygate, Nubia spotted the silver-haired boy and made her way over, "Fancy seeing you again," Nubia mused as she made her way over, her hand on her hip and smile placed upon her face.[break][break]

Once Olliver had gotten a message from Nubia, he had taken the time to find his way to the nearest waypoint that he could. From there he would hop between [Zone] and would eventually find himself within the Hub. This was a place that supposedly offered all kinds of information. Information that the man was certain to make use of, once he had found the time. For now though, he was going to have to make his way on over towards Nubia's location. She was one of the only people that he had established a decent relationship with at the time and as such, he had a feeling that she would become his key to success. "Well hey there stranger. Glad to see that you are still doing alright."

Seeing that some kind of message prompt had appeared before Nubia, Olliver would take the time to avert his gaze. He didn't care all that much for whatever it was that she was reading about but whatever it was, it was likely her own persona bits. Not that he didn't notice the smile that had crept upon her face as she had read the message. "Sebastian, huh? Well that's certainly a pleasant surprise. Someone of his caliber.. Well I'm sure that we could have quite the time with him." A toothy grin would be offered to the woman as Olliver would begin to think over exactly what kinds of things he could accomplish with the two of them at his side. From there, Olliver would follow after her until he too would be transported through yet another waypoint and out towards some place known as the forgotten mists.

Although it was rather unlikely that Olliver himself had been requested to come out to this point, Olliver couldn't help but offer a similar wave to the silver haired boy. This was their second time running into one another and as such, there was no reason for him not to be cordial. "Still alive, I see. Glad to bare witness to it." Anything could have happened in the time that these three had been apart from one another. It was best to ensure that they all remained safe to some degree. If nothing else, the three of them running into one another again had made Olliver feel a bit better about having convinced that poison inducing individual to get involved in the fight. Not that anyone had seemed to know this.

Sebastian stared at the mists of what used to be Russia, somewhat awed at what had become of the country. During his brief stay at the hub, he had overheard stories of what other countries around the world looked like after all the tutorials occurring. "A lot of people seemed to have died as well from what everyone's gossiping about. With the internet down, it's hard to get an accurate estimate of how much the population has gone down." he mused. It wasn't really that surprising to learn that so many people had ended up dying when it came down to having to fight. Most people were weak sheep who could barely clean up after themselves, let alone survive in any life or death battles.
"With that being said, it was only luck that I ended up surviving my tutorial. That battle with the minotaur could have gone a lot differently in the blink of an eye. If it hadn't been for Nubia and Ollie, I would have ended up dead." the spider boy thought melancholy as the mist continued to waft around him. "I have to get stronger. No doubt the people who slaughtered my family survived their tutorials as well." he muttered before hearing Nubia's voice speak out from behind him.
Turning around, he raised a hand to greet the afro-headed samurai only to be surprised to see Ollie accompanying her. "Thanks. It's due to my plot armor and spider-sense." he quipped back before walking over to greet the pair. "Not sure if Nubia has informed you but I thought I'd take the opportunity to fight some more creatures and sent over an invite. From what I've heard from others around the hub, Russia is fairly challenging and we shouldn't struggle too much from fighting the undead. So, are you guys in?"

"Likewise, how have you been since... You know," she said gesturing to the empty air around her. The tutorial they had gone through was rather harsh, and Nubia hadn't forgotten how Olliver stayed behind to help them when he didn't need to.[break][break]
Nubia smiled replying to Ollie's words, "I agree, I'm sure he could be rather useful," she said, replying to the boy's message saying that they would meet up with him.[break][break]
After Nubia made her way through the waygate she could hear a little muttering from the spider boy, something about getting stronger and his family being slaughtered. What the fuck was that about? She didn't know and she didn't bother prying either, it wasn't her business and if Sebastian wanted her to know then she wait for him to share such freely when he felt that he was ready to do so.[break][break]
Nubia chuckled at Sebastian's words "plot-armor, spider-Sense, What are you some cartoon protagonist?" Nubia jested, her hands at her side, as she glanced around. Looking at her surroundings Nubia was curious as to why Sebastian had chosen this strange area.[break][break]
Nubia sighed a bit when she heard what they'd be killing was undead, she hadn't fought those yet, nor did she have any desire to, but she had watched enough horror movies to figure that she had a handle on it. Aim for the head and keep it moving, so it seemed easy enough. "Sounds gross, but hopefully they have some good drops." She said with a smile, taking her dagger out of her inventory. "I'm in."[break][break]

Things such as his scouting skill, his flying capabilities, the crystal ball within his possession and of course that nifty dimensional sword. Perhaps with time and practice, he himself could get to the point in which he is able to assist others beyond his current levels. Or at the very least act as a leader. [break][break] "I suppose that that means that I am in as well." Having committed to working alongside these two once more, Olliver would mentally command his menu to open on up. Once it had done so, he would send a party invite on over to the two that had been beside him. Afterwards he would begin to equip a few things from his inventory. Appearing upon his person would be a bronze hawk helmet, a pair of fanciful boots, and of course a sexy ass katana that would hang from his side. "I've managed to acquire a few things that should help me act as a better scout. More or less the same gig as before but I suppose that I am better at it now?"[break][break] Realizing that now was as good a time as any to bring this bit up as well, Olliver would smirk a bit to himself before letting a bit of information slip. "I'm also planning on running an auction soon. Offload some of the items that I have managed to come across over the course of time since this game has started. Figure you guys might be interested in attending." Gesturing towards Nubia, Olliver would allow for his smile to grow all the more. "I've even set aside a small little beastie for you, Nubia. Given the fact that their world had apparently turned into a video game, he hoped that he was a main character rather than one of those boring background or side characters. "Tragic backstory. With the pair agreeing to go on this adventure, Sebastian gave a mini fist bump before accepting the party invite from Ollie and watched him equip a few items from his inventory. "I guess he'll be a bit more useful this time in combat." the spider teen thought before responding to his inquiry. "Pretty much. From what I gathered, things usually seem to happen around the north to the northwest of here." he said before crouching down to take a look at the strange toad that Ollie had given to Nubia.[break][break]
"Weird little thing aren't you?'" he muttered, looking at the pink eyes of the toad. "Well if you guys are ready, we can start walking. No use in burning any more daylight than we have to. Not that there is much light, to begin with." he muttered that last part as the heavy fog stopped a majority of the sunlight from peeking through.

"Haha, so does that make us the side characters?" Nubia said, a sly smile coming to her face. She'd be damned if she took second fiddle in such a scenario, though she supposed being a side character wouldn't be all bad if the character was at least competent and wasn't just there to get killed off or be convenient to the plot. She hated shows and movies like that, it was always a waste of good character designs.[break][break]
A smile came to Nubia's face as Ollie stated that he would be joining them as well, she patted the man on his shoulder leaning up against him for leverage before musing the words, "glad we can count on your assistance," she said reaching down to slap his butt before chuckling and continuing on with the conversation.[break][break]
Nubia rose an eyebrow at the mention of an auction, she knew Ollie had been hoarding items, but to think he had gained so many, well that was just great. She figured it would only be a matter of time before he came upon some great items that people would kill for. She just hoped when the time came that she got first dibs, granted she was sure that if there was anything that would benefit her, Ollie would keep her in the know-how. [break][break]
Then Sebastian mentioned not knowing about the loot that would drop, but that he had heard things about strange undead appearing, some with intelligence, the thought sent a chill down her spine. "Gross, hopefully, they don't bleed much, I'm not sure if I'd want that dead smell all over me," she grimaced as she spoke, thinking about just how much of a pain in the ass it would be to get that smell out of her hair and clothes.[break][break]
Though at the mention of treasure her eyes lit up and her smile widened as she sent a gentle elbow into Ollie's side, just enough to press against his skin but not to wound, hopefully. "Aw shit, treasure~ You could've just started with that, Spidey" she chortled. [break][break]
"North got it," she confirmed before turning her attention back to Ollie, she looked at the item that had appeared reading it over, making her menu public so Sebastian could see the item as well if he so desired. "Oh a pet, and it's a toad..." She said, her voice trailing off. "What is this some kind of Princess and the Frog shtick?" she said with a bit of light laughter. Though looking at the skills of the creature she mused, "Although I do think that would actually come in pretty handy, now that I think about it. Thanks, Ollie~ Let me save up for it and I'll buy it when I can if you'd be so kind as to hold on to it for me," she mused.[break][break]
After all, having a pet would make it easy for something to help guard Ollie and watch her back, especially with her being a frontline fighter. "Right, set and ready, lead the way Spidey," Nubia said with a tone of enjoyment, following behind the spider boy, it was time to kick butt and take loot, and hopefully, not die.[break][break]

Upon hearing that there were rumors of treasure being hidden within these mists, Olliver's eyes would immediately go wide and the corners of his lips would shoot up rather high. Any form of treasure that he could acquire would be good enough for him. It was something that he could sell.. And that is all that the man had really needed. Something further to fuel his addiction of selling things off to another. Even the fact that he was referred to as a side character had meant nothing to him in this moment. "I suppose that we should be off then, yes!"

The fact that Nubia had slapped him on the ass had registered in his brain but in this moment, in front of another individual, Olliver had chosen to ignore the fact that it had happened. It was something that he could bring up later when it was just the two of them. After all, despite the fact that the two had pretty blatantly had some feelings for one another, there hadn't been any formal statement of them being together at this point. Perhaps this was a discussion that would come sooner rather than later due to the public displays of affection.
