With the completion of the first part of Ender's Island, Sebastian wanted to go full steam ahead and join in the battle between the nagas and fishmen. However, he realized that would be foolish with the current gear that he had so he would need to change that first. The best way to do that would be to gain access to the forge in order to start combining different materials together.[break][break]

Sebastian noticed the look of astonishment on Enigma's face and internally pouted. Had he really been absent for so long that his presence was a surprise? It had only been a couple of months since he had been absent.[break][break]
"It's been a while since I've been out and figured this would be the best way to announce my return." the teen said, taking a swig from the offered drink. He continued to take small sips, curious to know where Engima was going with this speech.[break][break]
He didn't really care or mind that his fellow assassin had decided to investigate his origins. Sebastian would have done the same, in fact with the reveal of his face, the spider teen would be doing a bit more research to see what he could find. Such was the nature of a professional.[break][break]
"My parents were rather thorough in making sure I knew how to take care of myself. And I will forever be grateful for them doing so given what occurred." he stated, finishing off the rest of his drink.[break][break]

This was the egg he had purchased from the traveling merchant and he was eager to see what hatched from it.[break][break] In the meantime though, he'd be taking on a few more missions to gather points. He had gotten some good gear lately; again thanks to the traveling merchant, and was planning to head back to Ender's Island soon. From the rumors, some top rankers had gotten access to the fabled forge by completing some missions there. If he wanted to keep up, then he'd have to head out there soon.[break][break] And that was why he was out in the middle of nowhere in what used to be Europe. "Hold it steady!' Sebastian screamed out from the passenger seat. Driving the car was a combination of 3 of his broodlings; 2 for the wheel and one for the pedals. He had created an additional 5 as he chased after the train before shifting over to the passenger seat to free up his hands to attack.[break][break]
Thankfully, he did it just in time as once a few other vehicles joined in on the raid, the Train boss decided to start things off by warping the road they were on, causing it to steadily rise. "Not on my watch bitch." he muttered, removing his newly arrived demon crossbow and taking aim.[break][break]
Before he could fire, the person atop the giant dove managed to knock it back down to earth with some sort of serpent creature. "A summoner?" Sebastian thought before he noticed the buff status which was now stacking with others. "Get closer, I have an idea." he said, equipping his axe to boost his SPD.[break][break]
Getting within 10 feet of the train, Sebastian fired his crossbow, landing a critical blow on the train. He followed up by having 2 of his spiderlings jumping out of the back and landing on the train before exploding. [break][break]

It didn't take long traveling down this path before he once again came to a halt as he detected movement ahead. Another group of 3 ants raced up from the darkness before forming a wall, preventing him from continuing onward.[break][break]
"I suppose this is the end of the mission then." he muttered, deciding not to take any aggressive actions against the insects. There was no need to have the entire hive set against him being so deep underground. That would just be suicide.[break][break]
Slowly walking back while surrounded by his brood, it took him a little over 30 minutes before he was finally back in the original tunnel before the mission. "I think I'll have to come back with a light source to do this mission again."

With the addition of his new broodlings, now increased to 26 in total, Sebastian continued down the dark path. He continued unimpeded for another 10 minutes before he finally came to a break in the track, the tunnel diverting into two separate paths. One continued to head straight back but the other dipped down into an incline.[break][break]
"Given the mission is to explore the tunnels, heading down would be the best course of action." The teen pondered. He felt like he was repeating himself but it just showed how wary he was and how uncomfortable it was to be surrounded by darkness.[break][break]
"This is only just a D rank mission so at worst would be running into some C rank boss." he thought, trying to put his mind at ease before moving toward the downward tunnel.

Thankfully, his standoff against the ants didn't end in a battle. After a few more tense minutes, Sebastian began to make out the sound of the ants scurrying back down the tunnel. After 5 minutes, he allowed his muscles to relax as well as his broodlings, leaving behind the darkness.[break][break]
"I guess they were just here to investigate." the teen muttered before wondering what to do next. He had no way of seeing in the dark nor did his broodlings but it didn't seem as if the ants were particularly hostile. He was still confident that if things resulted in a fight, he could escape. Perhaps after bolstering his numbers a bit.[break][break]
Removing his pop-up book, he opened it in tandem with his passive to summon 8 more broodlings before he sent the arachnid hologram forward, following behind it into the darkness.

It wouldn't be for another 10 minutes of walking and another spawn of broodlings for Sebastian to finally run into his first giant ant. At first, he wasn't sure what happened; all that had registered was the illusion spider had passed through something briefly. It hadn't been a wall and when he retraced back, the object had moved and was making its way toward him.[break][break]
As the ant meet his first wave of broodlings, they gave a warning hiss that seemed to have translated well given that it didn't advance any further. Though from what he could hear in the dark, it seemed that it hadn't come to investigate alone. "Looks like I'm not going to be able to avoid a fight after all." he thought as he tried to get a better look at the enemies.[break][break]
"My best choice would probably be to have them explode in their widow form to give myself time to escape. I don't think that there were any branch tunnels on the way in." the teen pondered as the silence stretched.

He also had a few items equipped, electing to go with a more defense-oriented build given the narrow space he'd have to work with. The mission wanted him to fully explore the hive which would no doubt bring him into opposition with the ants.
