This time his target was a C-rank mission, this one is about looking for some kidnapped children. Why the orphanage had been set in the woods, he didn't know but if something was going around luring children, it needed to be put a stop to.[break][break] Given his recent upgrade in abilities, he felt that he could probably take on whatever had been stealing the children if he was given enough time to create a brood but it was also possible that he was allowing his hubris to get the best of him again and put himself into a dangerous situation much like that battle against the kung-fu ape. He had been lucky that he had gotten a subclass otherwise things could have ended a bit differently for him or Enigma.[break][break] "No. It's better for me to network a bit. Noelle had finally gotten ahold of a phone, and dear... well whatever passed as a god now, did she have a lot to learn about this place. Her first lesson being purely in the necessitation of using the board to actually gather jobs if people had things posted. So far she had either been drug into it, or accepted a system invitation thrown her way. This was her first time showing up for a job on her own volition without any forcible summoning.

In that regard walking into the bar that the assassin family scion was sitting within brought in the gloomy silver-haired seattle citizen. She really didn't know who she was looking for, and that was at least simplified by the only person in the bar besides the bartender being a younger man sitting and drinking... technically drinking age just didn't matter anymore, "Pardon, is the individual that put out a notice for help looking for missing children one of the two of you?"

Noelle would ask closing her umbrella from walking in and sending it back into her inventory. Dropping their hood to reveal a rather flat expression to their appearance. Perhaps the simple work of high WIL, that was usually easy to guess Noelle had found.[break]

Cyrus opened the door to the bar, having his hair fall down in front of his eyes and lay flat against the back of his head. He shook his head like a wet dog attempting to dry off. Most likely getting anyone near the doorway a little wet on accident due to the selfish inconsideration that he did to dry off. "Man I didn't realize it was going to rain..." Cyrus muttered, pulling up the job board application he had seen that brought him here.

He silently thought through this job, hopefully, a support class like him would be able to help some stealthier damage classes in the case they did fight something that was pulling children away from their homes. He walked up to the bar and asked for a soda, he thought that he shouldn't get intoxicated before a mission. Or at least, that would make it interesting. He chuckled at the idea of someone in a drunken state during a mission and if the game would make that a healable state.

Sebastian was pulled from his musings to a system alert, letting him know that his level-ups had been processed and bringing him up to level 30. He was given a slew of stats; more than he had been expecting to be honest as well as some potentially useful items. He'd have to look at them later though, the more important thing now was to allocate his stats; those being into defense and speed.[break][break]
The sound of the bar door opening drew Sebastian's attention to see a rather short hooded figure entering before closing the door. They glanced around for a bit before speaking up, asking for whoever put the ad out for the mission as they closed their umbrella and lowered their hood revealing themself to be a young girl.[break][break]
"That would be me." Sebastian spoke up from his table, waving at the girl and gesturing her over. Another person soon walked in and Sebastian could hear him mumbling something about looking for whoever was doing the mission meaning he was here for Sebastian as well.[break][break]
Rather than calling out to him, however, Sebastian activated his passive as his 5 spiderlings erupted from his skin before one quickly scurried over to the man from the shadows. It appeared next to the man's head on the wall and made a chittering sound before gesturing over at Sebastian.

Straight face. Maintain a straight face. Noelle was shouting to herself mentally as she stared at the tiny spiderlings that erupted out of the man. She was too deep at this point to stop though, and rather then flinch away or freak-out Noelle simply observed the spiders as they moved around. They were friggin' massive, which was terrifying, but her WIL stat managed to quell and dull her emotions to stop her from visibly panicking at least. Assessing this to be part of the man's class.

"Interesting... Well I am here to help you with the request for finding the missing kids. I... presume you are too?" Noelle would ask turning to face the giant musician behind her, a blank face hiding the fact that she was also cursing her hieght at that moment in time. It was a distraction, "If its all the same to you two I'd like to enter a party before we start this conversation if we really need one?"

The silver-haired shorty of the trio would state as if there wasn't a need to discuss much. Frankly she also thought there wasn't although she was second guessing due to the spiders. Cyrus sat and drank his drink as he looked through the bar, before noticing a spider coming towards him. He pulled his hand back quickly as he noticed the spiders, slightly spilling his soda on his shirt. "Ah crap. Where the heck are there spiders?" Cyrus turned to ask the barkeep before he motioned over to Sebastian. Cyrus walked over about to cause a scene, before hearing Noelle talk about the mission.

"W-Was that meant to get my attention?" Cyrus asked confused. "Probably good to be in a group if we are going on a mission. My passive help out my teammates pretty well, so I'll happily join." Cyrus grabbed some napkins as he finished drying off his shirt and turned back to Sebastian, seeming like he was the one leading this mission.

"It was. Noelle would look to the young man who had put out the original request and shrug. If he was ready to move then the they would move. Raising her umbrella back above her head and willing it open she would stroll in silence behind the man with little to no sound coming from her steps. The rain drowning out any she would have made that was audible anyways. She had to wonder though, what would cause a man's entire anchor to be spiders, or something related to them. It was an interesting thing to take note of, but she wasn't about to ask him about his class in the midst of a downpour that would mean getting way closer then she wanted to be.

As they arrived at the orphanage, Noelle would inhale and exhale. She felt with the request being what it was that it was rather unfortunate for the orphanage attendant that this happened to when it did, "I am good without the tea ma'am," Noelle would state calmly before taking to leaning on a wall behind the 'leader' of their little expedition group. She would simply listen and keep herself focused on the task without bringing down the mood, after all a good few feet of the room would be temporarily engulfed in a devoid of color soon, Noelle knew her timing with the aura, it was not controlled in any shape or fashion.

Before Sebastian could speak up, he noted Cryus responding to something on his screen and quickly excusing himself, leaving the orphanage. "Hope everything's okay with him." the teen thought before speaking up to dispel any awkwardness.[break][break]
"Is there anything you can tell us about where the kids were last seen or any weirdness that you may have noticed in the past few days?" The matron, who had looked dismayed at one of the supposed saviors leaving, turned back to face the other two and mentally gathered herself before speaking.[break][break]
"N-no. I don't really remember seeing anything out of the ordinary." she stated before hugging herself. "You have to understand, I'm pretty much just flying blind here. All of these kids were pretty much given superpowers and I have to manage all of them. One of the kids, Timothy, used to talk about his monster friend but seeing as none of the other kids every saw it, I just thought it was imaginary."[break][break]
"After that I think nothing of it until one of the other kids tells me that Timothy took 5 of the others with him into the woods to go meet his friend and that was yesterday. I've spent the past 2 days searching and nothing and I'm at my wit's end" she finished, bursting into tears as she cradled her face in her hands.[break][break]
"Guess it can be assumed that one of the kids has some sort of tamer ability and tamed one of the creatures in the forest." Sebastian began to ponder as he created another batch of his broodlings before having one of them hand the matron a tissue.

Well that was kind of a messed way for the story to go, Noelle was reminded in a way of the story of hansel and gretel, two siblings that wandered into the woods they were told not to play in only to end up in danger. It was a story with the message not to wander around in the unfamiliar, but also not to go into stranger's homes. In this case bother were the case - the woods was a home to a stranger that was strong, and the

"So the woods is the only real clue we got? Should we start inside there then? Or is there more Ma'am?" Noelle would ask with a calm, and gentle voice if a bit cold. Though every word they said seemed to be slightly cold, perhaps a side effect to the gloomy posterior of the young adult.

Continuing to sit back Noelle would let the words and thoughts sink in deeper. If this was really how it was going to be, then she just needed to relax for now. There was going to be a lot of walking, and even more walking in the future of the duo and she didn't see Sebastian as the type who liked breaks very much so far.[break]

The matron accepted the tissue though she was extremely wary and creeped out by the spider. She managed to keep any screams in but it was clear to the now pair that she was highly uncomfortable with the scenario. "We've gotten everything that we need from her anyway.'" he mused as Noelle seemed to come to the same conclusion.[break][break]
"N-no. Nothing else." she said, being off-put by the young girl's tone of voice. Was she really expected to believe that these two would be able to find and potentially save the missing children? She would just have to accept that though as no one else had answered the ad yet and the kids had already been missing for over 24 hours.
