With a swing of her hammer, Hana destroyed the last statue, ending the mission since nothing else jumped out at them. Overall, Sebastian would rate this mission as a success though given how over-leveled he and Hana were it was much of a surprise. Now though, he could access the rest of the Ender's Island missions, hopefully proving more exciting.[break][break]

"Guess so. Think I'll be taking the time to gather more points before going on a shopping spree for some gear. Want to make sure I'm set before venturing further into the Ender island missions." Sebastian stated before heading toward the exit point. Behind him, his spiders turned to dust, scattering into the wind.

"As long as it's spider-themed, I'll be buying it." the teen assassin said, taking a moment to think. He wanted to become infamous and revitalize his family's name; even if only he and those who were aware of them would understand.[break][break]

But the main reason why he wanted to brand himself as a spider assassin would be to send out a calling card to those who had slaughtered his family. He doubted any of the key players of their group would have died during the tutorial which meant that they were somewhere in this world, getting stronger.[break][break]

As they stepped into the room, Sebastian could only stare deadpan at the smiling earth-chan statue, muttering "so full of itself" before following Hana to the map. "Wonder what it's a map of.[break][break]

He didn't get the chance to check as once the map appeared in his inventory, a rumbling could be heard before 2 stone warrior angels, a weeping wolf, and one of the forsaken came out from a separate corridor, their eyes gleaming with rage. "And there's the trap." he stated as he got ready for battle.

Sebastian quickly glanced over at Hana as she and the broodlings joined him before turning back toward the ruins. "Hopefully it ends up being some sort of treasure but who knows with Earth-chan. That little thing is weird." the spider assassin said before sending in a few of his broodlings into the ruins.[break][break]

While nothing had popped up as he used the spy compass, it didn't have any mass so it wouldn't be able to trigger any traps. He wasn't sure if Hana had any trap detection or disable skills or if something like this even existed within the system but this was the easier method in his opinion.[break][break]

"Given they didn't seem to have triggered anything, I guess." he said, sounding a bit wary as he followed behind Hana.

Mission Details[break][break]

Sebastian had been surprised to receive a system prompt for a mission to explore a giant ant colony. He had decided to do some exploring in the Hollow Hills Given the tunnel size, the spider teen estimated that they had to be about a person's size. From what he remembered, ants were an omnivorous species so there was a chance that he could be designated as food.[break][break]

"Still, this is the first time I've heard of anyone being given a direct mission by the system before. There could be a great reward at the end of this." the teen pondered as his broodlings skittered about the opening.

"Worst comes to worst, I can make sure that I have an escape route ready." Sebastian thought, nodding to himself before reaching into his inventory and equipping the compass before making his way into the branch tunnel, accepting the mission.

"Really? Huh. That's where I got this axe from." Sebastian stated, twirling said weapon in his hand only for him to have to scramble about as it slipped and almost landed on his foot. He hoped Hana hadn't seen that small slip up and if she did, he'd merely continue as if it had never happened.[break][break]

"...I guess so." the teen said, sounding unsure. Going by the system alert they were enemies but if that was the case why were they so weak? Sebastian knew that he and Hana were over-leveled for this stage of the DLC but that was simply pathetic. "Just means less work for us then." he said before a howl pierced through the trees.[break][break]

"I don't think Earth-chan is going for accuracy with these monsters." he said, glancing over at the wolves. They were stronger than the birds but not by much. A simple mental order sent his brood to deal with the remaining 2 wolves as Sebastian continued gathering more supplies. "Hopefully, we can move on to the next part soon."

Coughing, Sebastian scrambled to pick up the axe he had dropped as the Ushioni advanced again, even as he summoned another batch of spiderlings to run interference. His tarantula morph had already ended and he was down to just 15 of his brood now. He hadn't been expecting that needle hair attack nor the follow-up punch and was now in a bit of a bind.[break][break]

Glancing over, Sebastian saw that he had managed to stab it in what would be the pectoral though he missed the heart. "Still that at least means that it only has a defense of about C rank at the most." he muttered before activating his 3rd ability, mentally preparing himself for the pain.[break][break]

Gritting his teeth to avoid the scream he wanted to let out, Sebastian rose to his feet spawning 10 spiderlings as his brood began to shift form again. Their bodies again bulked up, this time their legs elongated as their bodies turned into a murky brown color. Sebastian took the opportunity to grab one of his spiderlings and bite into it, quickly devouring it as it let out screams of anguish.[break][break]

Sebastian could see how horrified it was at the act which had been exactly why he had done it; also to recover a bit of damage, but that momentarily shock was going to cost the monster big time as the brood closed the distance in second before lashing out with bites to the monster's flesh, injecting it with their poison and weakening its defenses.[break][break]

The Ushioni let out another pain-filled hiss before raising its fist to begin swatting away the annoyance only for it to realize that it couldn't. A quick glance revealed that its arm had been chopped off at the elbow with Sebastian licking a bloody axe.
