Sebastian managed to get about 5 minutes of relaxation before his first brood batch came back. In that time, he managed to gather enough energy to summon another batch, bringing his total to 10. He expected by the time he reached the nest, he'd end up with another batch or two which should be enough to deal with some D-rank creatures.[break][break]

"So what did you all find?" the teen said, sliding down from the branch he had been resting on. The first brood let out chittering noises as their limbs flailed about. Since Earth-chan had decided to be an asshole and not give him the ability to understand his creations, he had to come up with some way for them to be able to communicate with him, at least for rudimentary purposes. What he had come up with was a basic number system for enemies and whether or not they felt they could beat one in a one of one. Since they seemed to share his knowledge upon creation, that part wasn't hard at least.[break][break]

After the brood finished giving their report, Sebasian ruminated a bit on the information, planning out the best course of events. "I could choose to go right down the front but that would require that I spend more time creating more of my brood so that we're not overrun. That would also be the quickest way to complete the mission." he mused before nodding to himself and reaching into his inventory.[break][break]

He pulled out a dark blue book before opening up to the middle of the book. A spooky-looking forest popped up from the pages before 5 more spiderlings crawled out of the pages, joining their brethren on the forest floor who inspected the newcomers with interest.[break][break]

"Lead the way."

Just as he had deduced, each of the spiders was knee height to him, though that seemed to be because they were juveniles. There was most likely a queen somewhere deeper in this nest giving birth to them. That was his last free thought before he had to dedicate himself to the battle, scattering his brood as the spiders dropped down fangs first.[break][break]

Sebastian hung back as he sent his brood to battle the younglings, taking the time to evaluate the nest as a threat. "They don't seem particularly that fast. E-rank speed at best. Defenses seem non-existent as well." the teen thought as his brood used their numbers in hit-and-run tactics to whittle away at their enemies' health.[break][break]

It wasn't long before all 6 spiders died and Sebastian made his way deeper into the woods, spawning another batch of spiderlings. Unknown to him, the Queen of this nest had felt the death of her children. She sent mental orders to one of her stronger children to find and eliminate the threat to the nest, not wanting to take any chances.

From a glance, Sebastian could tell that the Ushioni was powerful; how strong was a mystery but it was at least strong enough to kill his spiderlings. "The only question is, did it do it through sheer brute strength or through a technique of some sort." He didn't get much time to contemplate that as the Ushioni charged forward, its 4 gleaming red eyes focused on wiping out the threat to its nest.[break][break]

"Tch. Tarantula morph." the teen muttered, already backing away as he summoned another set of spiderlings making his army 30 strong. As the brood ran to intercept their target, their bodies morphed, growing in size and turning brown as their speed began to lag.[break][break]

The Ushioni lashed out with the first hit, expecting these lesser spider's bodies to simply break apart like earlier only to be shocked when they not only survived but also struck back with the hairs of their bodies. Another punch though showed that these false spiders were unable to survive a second hit and it began to make their way closer to the human in their midst.[break][break]

Coughing, Sebastian scrambled to pick up the axe he had dropped as the Ushioni advanced again, even as he summoned another batch of spiderlings to run interference. His tarantula morph had already ended and he was down to just 15 of his brood now. He hadn't been expecting that needle hair attack nor the follow-up punch and was now in a bit of a bind.[break][break]

Glancing over, Sebastian saw that he had managed to stab it in what would be the pectoral though he missed the heart. "Still that at least means that it only has a defense of about C rank at the most." he muttered before activating his 3rd ability, mentally preparing himself for the pain.[break][break]

Gritting his teeth to avoid the scream he wanted to let out, Sebastian rose to his feet spawning 10 spiderlings as his brood began to shift form again. Their bodies again bulked up, this time their legs elongated as their bodies turned into a murky brown color. Sebastian took the opportunity to grab one of his spiderlings and bite into it, quickly devouring it as it let out screams of anguish.[break][break]

Sebastian could see how horrified it was at the act which had been exactly why he had done it; also to recover a bit of damage, but that momentarily shock was going to cost the monster big time as the brood closed the distance in second before lashing out with bites to the monster's flesh, injecting it with their poison and weakening its defenses.[break][break]

The Ushioni let out another pain-filled hiss before raising its fist to begin swatting away the annoyance only for it to realize that it couldn't. A quick glance revealed that its arm had been chopped off at the elbow with Sebastian licking a bloody axe.
