Sebastian had once been given a spool of string by his mother, she told him that he’d be learning to weave fabrics. Though as she did this lesson held great importance to him. That she would be teaching him a lesson that pertained to his family of assassins sitting down with his mother she then began weaving. [break][break]


She taught him the in and outs of how to weave the fabrics, how to turn them into different shapes and mediums, and then she taught Sebastian about Arachne. A local legend about a woman, a weaver that was such a great at her craft that people kept comparing her to the god Athena. His mom told him that Athena had heard about it and she challenged Arachne to a contest to see who was the better weaver. They had to create a tapestry depicting the acts of the gods. Athena created one showing what happened when one defied the gods. Where as Arachne created one that showed the gods cruelty, and because of that and her skill she won.[break][break]


However, Athena flew into such a rage that she turned Arachne into a spider cursing her for eternity. Sebastian’s mom told him this as a lesson, that one must always be careful of displaying their true skill, and that one must have skills that rival the gods if they want to show the truth of the world, and that as a as a weaver it’s something one should aspire too. As well as the fact that her maternal side of the family often prayed and to Arachne, even modeling their assassination techniques after the story, as she showed the truth of the world, and paid the price for it. Sebastian often finds himself in raged viewing the mercenaries that killed his family similar to the gods in the story. [break][break]

Passive: Brood Eugenics

Your command over your brood extends far past simple control, now their very genetics are within your grasp and you can modify them to assist you in any situation. Whenever you birth spiders, you may activate one of three Genemorphs on them, altering their baseline capabilities, only one Genemorph can be active on a group of spiders at once and each Genemorph has a separate cooldown.[break][break]

Widow Morph - Wicked but frail, activating this causes your spiderlings to gain a black colour scheme with red markings. Your spiderlings can only take damage equal to your VIT-1 Rank but in return their damage increases by 1 Rank and their explosion radius increases to 2 meters instead of 2 feet. Once this morph is used it has a 3 round cooldown before it can be activated again.[break][break]

Tarantula Morph - Strong and bulky, activating his causes your spiderlings to gain a brown colour scheme and grow spiked barbs and hair. Your spiderlings move one rank slower and deal one rank less damage, however they can take your VIT+1 rank in damage and when struck in melee deal your PWR-2 Ranks in return damage as their barbs fire out like spikes. Once this morph is used it has a 2 round cooldown before it can be activated again.[break][break]

Wolf Morph - Wickedly fast and relentless, activating this causes your spiderlings to gain a grey colour scheme and their legs to elongate. Your spiderlings move one rank faster while this is active and when they deal damage, the victim's DEF is reduced by 5% for each wolf spiderling that attacks them, to a maximum of -40%, however these spiderlings cannot explode. The debuff lasts for 2 rounds. Once this morph is used it has a 4 round cooldown before it can be activated again.[break][break]

Additionally you are the Queen and your survival is more important than any other. You may instead choose to devour a spiderling, regaining 5% of your VIT for each spider you devour. However once used this goes on cooldown for 3 rounds.[break][break]

The Spider Queen class utilizes the skills of an arachnid and hones them into deadly techniques, while also executing them with majestic elegance. You are able to grow 4 large spider-like legs that have an oily, metallic sheen to them. They are each 7ft long when fully extended and are able to lift you off the ground. You are able to make an [basic] attack [PWR] every round with these appendages, as the tips of them are sharpened and pointed.[break][break]

Once per post, you can birth or rather create a number of baseball size spiders equal to your [VIT] / 10 in number. These spiders can move at your [SPD] and can take a single instance of damage equal to your [VIT] before being destroyed. Once per post, these spiders may deal [poison] damage equal to your [PWR], or can be detonated to cause a 2-foot explosion of silk each that deals [cutting] damage equal to your [MAGI]. Each Spider may only deal up to two instances of damage on a single target per post.

sticky shot:

Fire a web rope 20 feet away in a straight line [SPD]. Upon making contact with a target, it will stick to them and rapidly pull them towards you in the same round. Your [PWR] must be higher than theirs for this to succeed. 3 post cooldown. Upgrades at [MAGI] Rank B.[break][break]

Torn Tapestry:

You create a number 1-inch spool of webbing equal to your [SPD] stat in amount and can launch them up to [MAGI]/2 Meters away from you. Upon hitting a target or reaching the end of their range these spools of webbing burst into AoE fields of wire-like silk that you can control up to 20 feet in size. These wires are capable of doing [slicing] damage equal to your [PWR] once per post. This ability lasts 2 posts and has a 4 post cooldown.[break]

Unstable Mutamorph

By endangering your own life you can manipulate the spiders you create even further, going far, far into the realms of mad bioscience. When utilised you immediately take damage equal to 25% of your VIT, ignoring your DEF. However you instantly remove the cooldown for one of your passive Morphs and you may apply two Morphs to a single brood. Additionally when activated you generate double the usual number of spiderlings. When utilised, this goes on cooldown for six rounds.[break][break]

Toy Spider

A small toy spider. A nonmagical item that can be used as a crafting material. It has the potential to upgrade other equipment given the correct circumstances. [break][break]

Barnacle Bill's Boarding Axe

- A long-handled axe covered in barnacles that can be used as a weapon. Once per post, you can swing the axe dealing your [PWR] stat in damage, capping at A-rank. The axe can be used three times a thread to enhance your [SPD] by 20% and allow you to swing the axe not just once but twice, the second swing is at -1 rank your [PWR] stat! This boost to speed and damage capabilities can only be sustained for two posts before it needs to be reapplied. [break][break]

Web-Slinger

- A small wristwatch with a spider on the face. Twice per thread, you are able to fire off a string of webbing toward a target up to 20 meters away. You may either use the slinger to pull yourself toward that structure at your [SPD] +1 or if your [PWR] is greater than that target's [PWR] and [DEF] you can opt to pull them towards you at that same [SPD]! Webbing only lasts for a single post so best move fast. [break][break]

Spider Serum

- A vile of deep purple liquid. While it doesn't seem usable on its own it can be used at The Forge for crafting materials. [break][break]

Pop-up Spider Book

- A rather large dark blue book with various web designs all over the cover. Upon opening the book, a pop-up scenery of a large spooky forest seems to appear. Once every three posts, you may open up the book and summing forth 5 additional spiders for you to use! They will seemingly crawl forth the pages of the book and be ready to aid you! [break][break]

Archanid Eye Compass

A black and fuzzy compass that, when stared into, one can see the illusion of a spider. Three times per thread this spider illusion can come to life and travel up to 30 meters at your [SPD] in any dictated direction. It has no offensive or defensive capabilities and a single instance of [VIT] equal to your own. You can link your visual senses with the spider's own once per post, every three posts. [break][break]

Web Trap

A simple looking knapsack. Three times a thread, you can throw it, up to 15 meters away, causing it to open up into a large web. Those with lower [PWR] than your [MAGI] will be trapped for two posts under the web. While they are able to move and still use abilities, they cannot the 1-meter area where the web is anchored. [break][break]

Poisoned Dagger

A dagger made from the fang of a spider. Once per post, you can deal your [PWR] stat -1 rank in damage. Three times per thread if you deal damage and your [PWR] is greater than the enemy’s [WIL], you will cause them to take F-rank damage directly to their [VIT] on the next post. [break][break]

Weeping Cloak

A black fur coat with your [DEF] +1 Rank, three times per thread for two posts you can have hypnotic eyes open up all along the coat. These eyes cause those who see them within 20 feet of you to experience vertigo and a feeling of melancholy causing a 25% debuff to their [SPD]. [break][break]

Stone Knight

A knight's helm made out of stone with a marble mane on top, uniquely this marble mane flows like real horse hair. 3 times per thread for 1 post you can activate this item's special effect causing the stone to creep out from beneath the helm and coat your body in a temporary armor equal to your [DEF] +2 Ranks. Oddly enough this stone is flexible and does not impede your movement. [break][break]

Frostbite Fang

A large 8-inch fang from a Frostbite Serpent, this fang is a Crafting Material for the Forge. Once utilized the resulting item will gain both Ice and Poison properties. [break][break]

Demon's Manica

A thick chain bracelet that, once activated, causes the chain to rapidly grow in length and completely surround that arm, shoulder, and part of the chest. This grants its wearer armor equal to their [DEF] capped at B Rank, and reduces the effectiveness of Holy attacks against the wearer by one Rank. [break][break]

Voidbound Crossbow

A maroon light-crossbow with spikes on its limbs, a stock engraved with a screaming skull, and a pitch black drawstring. Once per post, it arms itself with an arrow made of shadows that, when fired, moves at [SPD]+1 up to 40m away, dealing [PWR] shadow damage to a target when hit. Once every three posts, you may choose for the arrow to burst into black smoke and teleport to its place [break][break]

Onyx Egg

An egg the size of a basketball. It is black and grey and very hard. Will hatch after 100 IC posts after purchase of egg! Egg obtained on 08/19/2023[break][break]

Paris Passport

Possession of this item doubles Tower Coin rewards when completing Coin Challenges. [break][break]

Fae Necklace

[Forged] Careful what you bargin, and never give your name for you will lose it. However, this item is proof of the power of fairies! While this item is worn its wearer gains +40% to MAGI. However they also lose 20% of their WIL and VIT. [break][break]

Rubber Snake

[Forged] A rubber snake that's great for bath time fun! In a thread, when someone within 5 meters would take damage, it will begin hissing and blowing bubbles. This disinfects the wounds and heals the target for 1% of their vitality. It also makes them smell like bubblegum. [break][break]

Cruel Effigy

A shrunken head with the looks of spider given the way the hair is styled. It is the size of a baseball and is comfortable to grip, and surprisingly easy to keep in hand, from the backside. While held in one hand the mouth will open to release a needle projectile. If it lands it does the user's [MAGI] -2, but hexes the damaged foe with a debuff that gives the foe -2% [PWR] and -2% [MAGI]. This stack up to five times at which point the Cruel Effigy shoots the user, stabbing the hand and giving them the debuff as well. The debuff once applied to the user lasts for three rotations [for the user and the target].[break][break]

Kilt of Agony

An incredibly disturbed item, the fabric it is woven from is covered in small metallic faces over the patchwork. The faces look to be wailing in pain constantly, and being within 10 meters of the wearer lowers all but they user's DEF by 10%. Three times a thread you can cause this kilt to scream, causing anyone within 5 meters to become [panicked] and unable to attack you if their VIT is lower than yours. [break][break]

Guild Ration

Probably the best meal you've ever had as a ration, nice. While not in combat you can spend one post consuming this item to recover 10% of your VIT, leaving behind only an accessory packet and gusseted pouch. You may only bring one Guild Ration into any mission/dungeon/etc. with item limitations, but it does not count against any item limits. [break][break]

Europa Vision

When completing missions in any Europa area, announce the use of this skill on Discord and roll 1d3. On a 1, all participants gain double the standard point reward for mission completion. SIGMA Guild members are imprinted with the eyes for details and the unseen given their goals. When dealing with any foe with stealth, treat the stat they use to stay unseen as 75% of its original value for the purpose of spotting them. This skill only activates if you are a part of SIGMA, and can be copied to new guild members by completing a C-Rank mission with them.[break][break]

Much is to be discovered even within extremes. While exploring dungeons ignore anchor penalties to the success rolls for progress for one member in the party for each party member with this skill.[break][break]
