The zombies didn't disappoint him as they shambled into the alleyway; one in the lead while the other two were right behind it followed by their leader. Still acting in his role as a frightened human, Sebastian let himself fall to the alleyway floor, crawling back until his back met a wall.[break][break]
The first zombie had only managed to enter about 4 feet into the alleyway before its leg suddenly fell off, sending it sprawling to the floor. All 3 zombies looked curiously at it, something that Sebastian made a note of before he manipulated the rest of his tapestry to converge and slice the rest up.[break][break]
Or at least, that's what he had thought it would be. The armored zombie survived the hit though it had clearly taken damage as its strong arm was barely attached to its body. This didn't stop it from continuing its forward march, determined to kill the human that it had found.[break][break]
"Of course. The dead don't feel pain. Still. Not surprised that you managed to survive my webs given your armor." he spoke nonchalantly to the approaching zombie before taking out his daggers and giving a sinister smile.[break][break]
"Hope you don't mind if I use you for some experimentation."

"Oh good, they decided to follow me." Sebastian whispered, grinning to himself as the zombies shuffled slowly after him. He was glad to know that these were the fast-moving zombie types that some modern movies had decided to introduce to the genre otherwise he'd have to adjust his strategy a bit.[break][break]
After ducking into the alleyway, Sebastian used his torn tapestry skill to turn the entrance into a deathtrap. Hidden from what little light shined through the mist, his silk covered as high as 5 feet while stretching back 4 feet into the alleyway. Anything that walked into them would be sliced into ribbons. And should anything actually be durable enough to make it to him, he'd be able to easily take it out from a distance with his other skills.[break][break]
Hearing the sound of groaning, Sebastian ducked deeper into the alleyway before adopting a fearful look on his face as he trembled in fear. "D-D-Don't come in here! Leave me alone!"

"Welp, guess I won't be able to avoid this fight." Sebastian muttered as he took another glance at the creatures. The zombies were pretty straightforward in appearance; looking exactly like what one would see in a movie. "I wonder if any of them were former players that got turned."/color] he mused before focusing on the real threat.[break][break]
The armored zombie was wearing some light armor clothing while carrying a bloody sword, seeming to be the leader of this group. "The regular zombies will be easy to deal with. My torn tapestry should easily rip them apart since my power is at B rank. Once that's done then I should be able to handle that armored one on its own by either drawing it in close for my passive or just whittling it down with my daggers." Sebastian thought, nodding to himself over this plan.[break][break]

The undead was no doubt very surprised when a human suddenly lept out from behind a car and ran into an alleyway though they wasted in no time going in pursuit, something that unbeknownst to them would lead to their deaths.

The smell of rust and mist was heavy in the air as Sebastian walked through the mist-filled city. From what he had seen from the system messages people had left, Russia was designated as a medium risk with a bunch of undead and machines running around, attacking any humans that wandered into the mist.[break][break]
"It's kind of like that Steven King movie honestly" Sebastian mused as he sulked past another abandoned car. He was forced to move around on foot as apparently in this new video game world, you weren't allowed to drive any vehicles without having purchased a license first.[break][break]
"Of course, even in the middle of a fucking apocalypse, Capitalism still finds a way to survive." the assassin grumbled before a groaning sound alerted him to the fact that he had company.[break][break]
A quick duck behind the car and Sebastian was treated to the view of a group of 3 zombies being led by one in armor, making a beeline directly for his location.

Sebastian had chosen to ignore it at the time since no one else was there but now his curiosity was getting the better of him now.[break][break] He hadn't been expecting it to turn out to be the same Oliver that he had met during his tutorial. "Hey look, Nubia, it's Oliver from our tutorial. Small world though given how many people died, it shouldn't be surprising." he typed into the group chat.[break][break] Reaching the bathhouse, Sebastian moved to hide while Nubia and Hana scouted ahead. Seeing the signal, he moved forward and followed behind Enigma as he entered into the room. "We can just end up using this bathhouse. So long as we don't fuck up the place." Sebastian chimed in, now looking forward to a nice soak after a battle.[break][break] A ping in the group chat alerted him to a crudely drawn map of the inside of the bathhouse with 3 Xs marked on it. It didn't take much to guess what the Xs meant and turning to face the reception desk, he wouldn't have to wait long for that battle to start as the demon jumped out, aiming to strike Enigma.[break][break] Not one to pass up an opportunity, Sebastian quickly sprinted towards the demon, removing a feather dagger. "You'd think it'd be warier when it noticed multiple foes." the spider assassin thought as he brought out one of the feathers and aimed for the demon's eyes. Regardless of whether it hit or not, Sebastian would arrive within 6 feet of the demon before quickly lashing out with a jab from both of his spider legs aiming for the torse and throat so as to silence any screams; the familiar holographic web forming beneath his feet, enhancing his damage.[break][break] {Stats}

Everything else that he had gotten from that wouldn't be useful here and he hadn't gotten anything new after the mission with the titan since he wanted to focus on his skills more.[break][break] "I should be fine for this mission. With Nubia and Engima, I doubt there should be much in this mission that could give us any trouble." he thought before glancing over at Hana. "Especially since she seems to be a support type."[break][break] "I'm fine with taking on the secret boss, provided that we're able to handle everything here." Sebastian voiced. He wouldn't be passing up any opportunities to get bonuses but he also wouldn't be putting himself in a dangerous situation again. Sebastian stopped for a second, staring at Ippo who unsheathed a dagger and was using it to stab the stone warriors before continuing. He felt if he opened his mouth to say anything more to him, the spider teen would lose what little remained of his self-control and curse him out. "If he had a fucking knife this entire time then why the fucking hell didn't he use it first!?"[break][break]
Stopping collecting his spent feathers, Sebastian glanced back to check on the advancing red line. They appeared to be making good time but he didn't want to get too complacent in case it were to speed up or another command was issued by the throned giant that ended up stalling them. His concern for the line though caused him to overestimate his strength, resulting in two of his feathers missing, allowing two of the statues to advance toward him.[break][break]
"Shit!" would be all that he could get out before having to defend against a spear strike using his spider legs. The stone soldier would then demonstrate its proficiency with its blade, whipping it about to pull into another stab, this one aimed at his chest.[break][break]
Thinking quickly, Sebastian used his spider legs to push himself out of the way of the attack before using his special ability and shooting a web string at the other statue and yanking forward, aiming to have it crash into the spear-wielding statue and hopefully they end up breaking each other apart.[break][break]
If they didn't smash apart on impact, Sebastian would use the momentary confusion from them crashing into one another to catch the spear that Sami had thrown at him and thrust in through the body of the primary statue; and hopefully end up catching the second one as well. Should they both end up being destroyed, the spider teen would move forward to go help Sami, tossing a few feathers to either act as distractions or at least take out some of their opponents.

"I could be. I give off main character energy." Sebastian quipped back to Nubia, flicking his hair with his right hand. Given the fact that their world had apparently turned into a video game, he hoped that he was a main character rather than one of those boring background or side characters. "Tragic backstory. A compelling storyline that would interest any edgelord to play. Why wouldn't I be a main character?" he mused before moving on to discuss the reasoning they were all here.[break][break]
"Not really sure what kind of loot we'll get but I heard some rumors from others that they had run into some strange undead creatures out here. Some of them even appeared to have some intelligence." Sebastian stated. "I ever heard about one of them appearing to guard some form of treasure too though I'm not sure how true that is."[break][break]
With the pair agreeing to go on this adventure, Sebastian gave a mini fist bump before accepting the party invite from Ollie and watched him equip a few items from his inventory. "I guess he'll be a bit more useful this time in combat." the spider teen thought before responding to his inquiry. "Pretty much. From what I gathered, things usually seem to happen around the north to the northwest of here." he said before crouching down to take a look at the strange toad that Ollie had given to Nubia.[break][break]
"Weird little thing aren't you?'" he muttered, looking at the pink eyes of the toad. "Well if you guys are ready, we can start walking. No use in burning any more daylight than we have to. Not that there is much light, to begin with." he muttered that last part as the heavy fog stopped a majority of the sunlight from peeking through.

The group worked well for a ragtag bunch in Sebastian's opinion. Enigma managed to destroy the legs of each statue that his strange butterflies hit, giving everyone plenty of time to destroy them without any sort of worry. Though they didn't stop trudging forward, the threat level of each of them had lowered considerably, enough that Sebastian managed to easily land a hit with one of the feathers he had gotten from the Symphalian bird in his last tutorial. [break][break]
As he was going about, Sebastian managed to spare a glance at the others, curious to see what kind of abilities they had been gifted with. Sami released a red aura that caused the statues to crash into each other while another one twisted around and began to crabwalk. "Some kind of confusion effect? Strange that it worked on non-living beings unless these things count as living" Sebastian mused as his spider leg stabbed into the face of another statue, shattering it before he moved to retrieve his thrown feather. "Better to not lose these."[break][break]
With all the statues destroyed, things were clear for the group to begin moving forward; having to move slowly due to Chae-Young's injury. It irked Sebastian that they had to do so but he elected not to voice it so as to not cause any tension within the group, besides there was something else that they could focus on.[break][break]
"How did you survive your tutorial without knowing how to use your ability?" Sebastian asked, a look of confusion on his face at Ippo's question. "He's a liability. We can't keep him around, otherwise, he could get us killed. Why the hell did he even choose to come here without knowing that? Does he expect to get carried through this?" Sebastian internally raged before deciding that they didn't have time for that and shouted at the others to keep moving forward.[break][break]
They barely made it a few feet before Ippo would demonstrate his sheer stupidity and use his ability to call every statue within their vicinity to their location. "I'm going to kill him. I'm pretty sure the others would be fine with it given that he's trying to kill us all through either sheer incompetence or is using us as a distraction." Sebastian began to rationalize in his head as he fingered one of his feather daggers. [break][break]
As Sebastian contemplated his next course of action, Sami would rush forward, seemingly in some sort of suicide rush. "Is everyone just going to be stupid today?" Sebastian muttered before nodding at Enigma's words and tossing out 3 of his feather daggers at any of the statues that were distracted by Sami's rush and Enigma's ability. He would then repeat his previous assault, running forward and attacking any that were still distracted, keeping an eye out for potential ambushes as well as the encroaching red zone.
