"Get to the green? What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" Sebastian muttered as he considered Chae-Yeong's words. Nothing around them was colored green though he supposed that it'd make sense once this game got started. "Since green traditionally means safety, then I suppose there will be a red zone that pops up that we should stay out of and maybe even a yellow one that signifies we're getting close to danger." Sebastian mused.

As the Korean pair relaxed, Sebastian noticed Orvis going up to inspect the statues, making the spider teen take another look at them. He noted some of them appeared to have been fighting one another, others appeared to have been running while others were trampled under the feet of other statues. All in all, it was very bizarre and set Sebastian on edge as he wondered just what sort of things they would be forced to do for this tutorial. "I'm starting to regret accepting coming here now."

Once both Korean members accepted the party invitation, Sebastian was surprised to feel a surge of energy flow through
his body. Opening up his status window, Sebastian noted that his stats had increased by about 30%, which while not much for his other stats since it only gave him 3 additional points, his power though had risen by 7 points which would come in handy for my assassin technique. Plus the additional 5 power that Chae-Yeong gave him brought him up to a total of 36 which put him at C rank power. "That should come in handy fighting against anything. Hopefully, nothing ends up being too strong here." he thought.

He didn't have to wait long as the giant finally spoke, uttering a single word as the ground began to glow in three distinct colors of green 1.5 miles ahead of them, yellow where they were standing, and red 1 mile behind them and slowly creeping forward as the statues crumbled to dust and warp into 6 stone soldiers as they attempted to jab them with spears. Screams could also be heard echoing out throughout the surroundings, letting Sebastian know that they weren't the only ones fighting in the area.

With Enigma running interference with his odd butterfly abilities, Sebastian would dash forward, reaching into his pockets and producing the feathers he had gotten from his previous tutorial and tossing them at the nearest statues that weren't already being attacked, aiming to take out their heads. If they were dodged, that was fine with him as it merely gave him the chance to get in close and summon his spider legs, aiming to pierce through the nearby heads of the stone statues as his familiar holographic spider web appeared at his feet. "Keep moving forward!

After the events of his tutorial, Sebastian decided it would probably be good to reach out and get to know Nubia and Ollie better, maybe even forming a team or something as they tried to figure out where to go from here with things. He was pretty sure that neither of them knew much more than he did but it didn't hurt double check and collaborate stories in his opinion.

He decided that he was going to speak with Nubia first as she seemed to be the more receptive and open to the two plus the fact that she was a mercenary which was something that he had in common with her and could use to keep the conversation going. There was also the fact that Ollie's actions during the minotaur fight irritated him somewhat as he had simply stuck back and didn't do a single thing to help. It wasn't that surprising given that the pudgy man had no physical capabilities but he could still have attempted to do some sort of interference or something in that fight.

Opening his menu screen, Sebastian sent a message to Nubia asking if she would be free to meet up for a quick chat and potentially go and hunt some monsters for some extra rewards.

As his body flew through the air, Sebastian noted that he had been thrown toward Nubia, leaving him to wonder if the minotaur had done so on purpose to try to take them both out. He didn't get much time to think about that though as he felt his back collide with the tree, knocking the breath out of him and sending him sprawling to the forest floor in pain.

Upon seeing one of its prey temporarily incapacitated, Sebastian watched as the minotaur began to move forward, no doubt to finish him off only for it to be intercepted by Nubia who danced around the minotaur's failing limbs, trying to get a strike in with her blade. "I'll just have to create an opening for her then"[ Sebastian thought as he reached into his pocket and threw one of the feathers, landing a direct hit in the bull's eye. This shot allowed Nubia to finally get in close, slashing the beast's tendons and sending it toppling from its own weight only for Adrian of all people to swoop in and blind it in its other eye with another feather before backing off, heading toward Sebastian. "Well that's unexpected. Where did he get that feather from?" he thought as the Canadian reached down and helped him up.

Sebastian glanced back over to the battle just in time to see Nubia be sent flying back through the air before a guttural roar echoed out once again through the clearing, this one being different than the previous one. Sebastian could feel both his and Adrian's muscles locking up in terror as his heart began to race before Adrian dropped him as the Canadian crouched down in terror, rocking back and forth along the floor. "What is this? I don't remember reading about this in any of the stories about the minotaur!"

Just when it felt like his heart was about to burst right out of his chest like a certain creature from a space-themed horror movie, the feeling disappeared along with the sound of something heavy falling to the forest floor. Glancing over, Sebastian saw that Nubia had beheaded the minotaur with Nubia picking up the head to add to her inventory slot before she walked over to help him up.

"Thanks. And you're right. I don't want to run into anything else in here." he stated, taking her hand and beginning to walk in the direction of the smoke when he noticed the tutorial screen popping up in his face.

Staring at the message, Sebastian's face went blank before he took a deep breath and decided not to waste his energy responding back. There was no point anyway and he didn't want to attract the attention of anything else out there.

Soon the group of four arrived outside the rather generic-looking cabin and Sebastian moved to open the door and step inside, receiving a message congratulating him for completing the tutorial and informing him that he was the 10th person to arrive. "Thank god that's over." he said before going to sit down, wondering where things would go from here.

The group of 4 had been jogging for 20 minutes so far without a single monster run-in when Nubia decided to ask their new attache about how far he had managed to make it into the woods. Adrian jerked back, surprised at being addressed, and took a moment to gather his thoughts before answering. "I think we ran for about 20-30 minutes when that bird chased us. We did see a column of smoke rising in the air just before it attacked us so we were heading in that direction." the Canadian man stated before Ollie's question threw him for a loop.

"W-what!? I would never do something like that! We were all part of a group of about 6-7 people and when that thing dive-bombed us, everyone scattered in different directions! It was just a coincidence that we ended up stumbling on you guys I swear! You have to believe me!" he shouted, getting a bit hysterical as tears began to gather in the corner of his eyes.

Sebastian remained unfazed at the interrogation that his companions were unleashing on Adrian. They were relevant questions in his opinion but going by the Canadian's reaction, it was clear that it had just been a coincidence that had led him to their group rather than something sinister. "Or he's just a really good actor. Either is possible." he mused before he noticed that there was a column of smoke rising in the air, just as Adrian had stated. "Seems he was telling the truth. There's the column of smoke now." Sebastian pointed out to the others before setting off at a brisk pace, eager to finish this tutorial and see if he could get some answers.

It would be another 5 minutes of jogging when the group would make it to another clearing, one that showed signs of an intense battle had occurred there. There were quite a few tree limbs broken and lay smashed to pieces alongside multiple pools of blood though it was telling that there were no bodies around. "The question remains did they win the fight and walk away or were they killed and dragged off to be eaten by the creatures here?" Sebastian thought, leaning more towards the latter given the sheer amount of blood that was in the clearing and the lack of an enemy body.

"We should probably g-" he started to say before a great bellow echoed out from somewhere ahead, accompanied by the sound of something large and heavy crashing it's way through the woods on a direct course for their location. The group didn't even have long to register that they were about to be attacked when an almost 3-meter-tall minotaur erupted from the woods, head bowed as it aimed to gore and/or trample them with its bulk. "A fucking minotaur!? Are you kidding me?!" Sebastian shouted as he dove out of the way before reaching into his pocket for some of the bronze feathers, getting ready to get into another fight. "Can't we get a break?"

Holding the Syphalian Bird was tough. Sebastian wasn't used to having to physically restrain his opponents so didn't really develop his muscles for that. He had built himself to be more of an assassin; sneak in, stab them in the neck or another vital area and bail out while they lay there dying, but now he would be endeavoring to up his physical strength just in case another scenario as this happened again.

Digging his heels further into the ground, he watched with gritted teeth as Nubia dashed forward attempting to slash at the bird's neck in a pirouette, probably hoping to add more force behind her jab to ensure that she'd be able to pierce through the feathers there. Unfortunately for the two of them, she missed her mark as the creature managed to put some distance between it and the blade with a beat of its wings, almost jerking Sebastian off his feet at the unexpected.

"Shit. You overgrown chicken just die already!" he grunted out redoubling his efforts and throwing his full weight into preventing the bird from escaping. If it managed to break out of his webs and head back into the air, they would have no way of taking it out since his webbing had a cooldown before he could use it again and he doubted that it would fall for the same trick twice. He also wasn't confident in his chances of pulling off a win by trying to abuse his critical hit damage increase by letting it get within his range -that was far too much of a risk. "Come on Nubia. You're our only hope of pulling this off."

Thankfully Nubia didn't waste any time before following up with another attack, quickly landing 3 consecutive hits, and sending the bird falling forward with a screech. Sebastian fell back with a squawk, landing on his ass unexpectedly from the sudden shift in weight. "Ack! That hurt." he muttered while rising to his feet and making his way over to the fresh corpse. Summoning one of his spider legs, he quickly jabbed the claw into the creature's neck, double-tapping it to ensure that it was actually dead and not acting, which it hadn't been. "Just had to be sure. Good job on the kill." he said, patting Nubia on the shoulder before moving down to begin de-plucking the feathers from the bird. They had proven to be extremely durable as well as a viable range weapon that they could use so Sebastian was willing to let a resource like this go to waste.

Once he felt he had a good number, the spider teen rose back to his feet and prepared to make his way north for the cabin, leaving it to Nubia to give Ollie the head or wing he requested since she was the one with a blade when another shout came from behind him. "Hey wait! Turning, Sebastian saw that it was the man from earlier who had spoken, his fingers pressed together before he clasped them. He was kneeling next to the girl, Marissa, whose body Sebastian noted had been maneuvered to have her hands clasping each other atop her chest, with some flowers clutched in her grasp. "Do you guys mind taking me with you? I swear, I'll pull my own weight! Just don't leave me here!" he stated, a pleading look in his eyes as he gazed at each of the trio. "Well he did prove to be useful in helping defeat the chicken and you never know when poison could come in handy again." he mused, looking over at the others to gauge their reaction.

"Alright I guess. But you'll be pulling your weight in any other fights that we stumble across." Sebastian stated, deciding that he could end up serving as a good meatshield for them in case they ran into something stronger. Sebastian could have sworn that he saw miniature stars form in the man's pupils as his face broke out in a wide grin before he rushed forward and hugged the spider teen and pressing a brief kiss to his cheek before doing the same to the other two members of the group. "Thank you so much! I am Adrián, from Quebec by the way, pleased to meet you all."
