Seeing the rockets come streaking at him, Sebastian choose this moment to process his level up, bringing him to level 25 as he stored the awarded 40 points into his vitality. He may have accepted that he couldn't dodge the missiles in time but he could at least ensure that he would survive the attack.[break][break]

He was saved from finding out if his efforts were enough by Enigma launching an attack, destroying the rockets, and striking the robot with his second butterfly attack while Hana slammed out multiple notes from her guitar. As his stats were boosted, Sebastian noted the system message letting him know that his core had upgraded, granting him a new sub-ability to create spiderlings. Summoning 6 of them with the new boost to his vitality Sebastian charged forward, hoping to use Nubia's attack as a distraction for him to land a critical blow.[break][break]

The robot meanwhile had activated another ability upon Hana's usage of her guitar, attempting to weaken her effects on its to no avail. Noticing Nubia's approach, panels once again open up as it attempted to fly to dodge her attack even as it began to gather a large amount of energy before letting loose an aoe blast.[break][break]

"You're a very humble person Enigma. That's something I like about you." Sebastian said, giving his fellow player a genuine smile. This match had taught him a lot about what he was capable of without relying on his abilities. Since his abilities had cooldowns, he needed to be aware of his capabilities without them.[break][break]

"Yeah, probably best to head out now." Sebastian said before a system message came in for him. "You have been offered 2 subclasses, please choose which you'd like to take."[break][break]

Sebastian barely got the time to process what just happened when something crash down nearby. Whipping, Sebastian had time to note that Enigma had turned invisible as he saw a 2-meter-tall gorilla standing at the edge of the forest before it let out a screech before Enigma became visible. "Did that screech cancel out his stealth." Sebastian thought in surprise as he covered his ears, accidentally selecting the subclass Arachnomorph.[break][break]

"Shit!". He didn't get much time to focus on that as the gorilla charged toward Enigma and given the size of those fists, a direct punch from that creature would hurt. He didn't think as 5 spiderlings formed into being around him as he charged forward, though he was surprised when the spiderlings moved faster than him which gave him a good look at their new appearance.[break][break]

They were grey in color with elongated legs though they didn't get there fast enough as Enigma summoned some giant red demon which landed a hit with its club before the gorilla stole that club and struck back.[break][break]

As his spiderlings drew near, the gorilla would glance at Sebastian before the teen felt a force seize something in his body that sent him reeling. The spiderlings would slow down by a noticeable amount as the Gorilla increased its speed as it dodged them before launching out as it charged toward Enigma. It let loose a volley of fur, in all directions before charging toward Enigma, fist cocked back in a jab.[break][break]

"It stole both my speed and lowered our defenses. What the fuck kind of gorilla is this?" Sebastian grunted in frustration as he attempted to reach Enigma, preparing his torn tapestry skill. He'd have to wait until the very last second to use it given the fact that his speed was E rank while that Gorilla seemed to be moving at about C rank.

"I've heard of him yes though on account of my family being Greek, we followed Arachne.." Sebastian said as his 5 spiderlings detached from his body and began to explore the sewers. They were soon joined by another 5 as they sprouted from his body; one even rising up from his face.[break][break]

"You continue to flatter me you shameless flirt. You should be careful about starting things you might be unable to finish." Sebastian said before continuing. "While I will admit to employing trickery throughout my life, to put myself on the same height as a god would be very hubris of me, something my family made sure that none of us grew to be."[break][break]

His spiderlings soon came back, gesturing at Sebastian. "Seems we'll be having company. About 10 goblins are on their way here riding along 4 giant spiders. I can cut their numbers down as an opening, do you feel you'd be able to deal with any stragglers?" Sebastian asked, curious to see what Idir could do in battle.[break][break]

If the plan were agreed upon, Sebastian would tuck himself up on one of the pipes, using the shadows to hide as he positioned his spiderlings along various spots as well. The sound of footsteps began echoing through the sewers and soon the group emerged from another pipe opening.[break][break]

Sebastian waited until the odd group was centered beneath him before he launched his torn tapestry skill. He managed to kill 2 of the spiders with it as well as chopped off a third's legs while also catching 3 goblins in the attack. With his mental command, the spiderlings congregated on the injured spider and 2 more of the goblins as Sebastian leaped down and engaged with 3 of the goblins leaving Idir with 1 giant spider and 2 goblins to deal with.

At the loud exclamation, both Sebastian and his Spiderlings glanced over to see dark-skinned older man making his way over to Sebastian, eyes fixed on the budding assassin. "Guess he's going to be my partner for this." the teen muttered as he downed the rest of his drink as his new companion took a seat.[break][break]

"Yup that's me. Sebastian Indaweb at your service." he stated, giving a flourishing bow while remaining seated. The man was extremely good looking and Sebastian felt inclined to flirt with the man, especially given the opening that he had given him.[break][break]

"Oh my. I'd at least like to be bought dinner first before you talk about my amazing physique." Sebastian stated coyly, even going so far as to blush and glance off to the side like a school girl who's crush just complimented her.[break][break]

He eventually became serious as he got down to business. "So what exactly are you fighting capabilities. I don't mind having to do the work myself as indicated in the request but I would prefer to know that up front."

With the last of the imps defeated, the group would be able to focus back on Hana and try to cure her of her status infliction. "Having some sort of cleanse ability would be really clutch right now. That's definitely something that I'll have to look into getting." the teen thought, adding it to his mental list of another item to get.[break][break]

As Sebastian watched, the fog around the back of the room began to clear up, revealing to the group the final boss as he sat half-submerged in his bath, flanked by 2 female succubi and a small imp attendant while smoking a fat cigar. "Well someone is nonchalant. Buddy, you're just an early mission boss." Sebastian taunted to the fat imp boss.[break][break]

The imp boss bit through his cigar and rose up in a rage, a fireball appearing in his hand before a crashing sound came from the back of the room. It was soon followed by the back wall being broken in sending a cloud of dust flying out. Sebastian could make out a slender figure in the cloud before it ran forward and grasped the two succubi by the neck, snapping them in one go. The imp boss bellowed a hateful rage before lobbying the fireball at the mysterious being which merely brushed off the attack before landing a bone-breaking kick to the boss, sending it flying back into another wall where it slumped over, dead.[break][break]

Sebastian watched all this from the other side of the bathhouse, dispassionate as he analyzed the fight so far. "Whatever that thing is, i'd estimate its has somewhere about B power with how easily it broke their necks. It can move faster than D speed and has some defense as well given how it took that fireball."[break][break]

The remaining imp had been trapped under the rubble when the being walked up to it and stepped down on its neck, breaking and kill it before it turned to the group of 4. Panels began to open up on its side and Sebastian had a second to widen his eyes before rockets streamed out, aiming for him.

As Sebastian waited to see Enigma's next move, he began reviewing what he'd learned from this battle so far. He had already mentally resigned himself to losing this match given the win conditions that had been set but he wasn't that upset about it. Rather, he enjoyed that he got to see just how far he could take his new spiderling creations.[break][break]

"Might as well go out with a bang then." the teen thought, smiling to himself as he spotted the swarm of butterflies forming 18 feet away from his position. Enigma probably thought that he wasn't able to react due to mental trauma and was taking advantage.[break][break]

"Good decision. At least it would be if I felt anything from my spiderlings being destroyed." he thought as he sent the command to the spiderlings to disperse and charge at the last location before detonating. He himself had quickly formed 5 additional spiderlings in his hand before tossing each one at where he had seen the attack form before they burst into silk, hopefully managing to catch Enigma.[break][break]

"Can't believe I didn't think to do this earlier." he cackled as he threw the spiderlings. It would be clear by this point to Enigma that Sebastian wasn't affected by the destruction of his spiderlings and that it had merely been an act on the assassin's part to lower his guard.[break][break]

From the rest of the swarm, from the 14 that existed, only about 5 had managed to make it through to explode into cutting lines of silk.[break][break]
