With his army being 20-strong, Sebastian strolled his way deeper into the nest; leaving behind various spider parts in his wake. He hadn't expected any of the spiders to truly be able to put up a fight against him but this was just sad. Sure he had run into the different variations of the spiders but none of them could really do anything interesting.[break][break]

"Think it'll be better to just call it here..." The teen started to muse before noticing just how silent the woods around him were. As he made his way deeper in, it had been nothing but a steady stream of spiders but he hadn't run into any for the past 5 minutes. "Did I kill them all?"[break][break]

The immediate death of 5 of his spiderlings shocked Sebastian, causing him to immediately recall the rest of his brood to himself. It didn't take long for him to find the target hiding in the shadows of a dead corpse. "You can come out." he stated, spawning 2 sets of spiderlings using his passive and book.[break][break]

What came out from the shadows was a 2.5-meter-tall monster-spider hybrid. He remembered seeing photos of creatures like this in Japanese culture. He believed it was called a Ushioni. "Well aren't you a big boy?"[break][break]

"Yeah I'm the one who put up the mission." Sebastian said with a pout. He felt a bit put out at the lack of reaction of his soon-to-be companion. Most people freaked out when they saw the way he summoned them but clearly, this girl was made of sterner stuff.[break][break]

They were soon joined by the other man Sebastian noticed enter and Sebastian sent out a party request to both of them, setting himself as the leader. "It was. I heard that you were here for the mission and didn't feel like walking over to you." the teen stated before reading the system notification he had gotten.[break][break]

"Interesting ability." Sebastian stated before selecting his vitality as the stat to increase as well as reducing the cooldown of his unstable mutamorph ability. "I hope an opportunity comes up for me to use that. It'd be criminal not to." the young assassin mused, a sadistic smile creeping up his face as he imagined a wave of spiders engulfing a city.[break][break]

"2 people should be enough, I don't really need any more than that." he stated, rising to his feet and moving out the door, ignoring the rain that started to fall a bit heavier. The group soon appeared outside the orphanage where they were quickly ushered in by the matron who set about brewing some tea.[break][break]

"If there's anything I can do to help, please ask."[break][break]

By the time Sebastian reached the beginning of the spider nest, he had summoned another batch of his spiderlings bringing his army up to 20 total. This seemed like a good number to start with going in. Of course, he would still be creating more as a precaution; something that he learned during his mock battle with Enigma.[break][break]

"Hmm. These webs are fairly large. I'd say they're at least knee height if not bigger." Sebastian muttered, having walked up to inspect some of the webbings. A glance thrown deeper in revealed more strands of webbing, growing thicker and thicker as one progressed deeper in. It was clear why this was being called an infestation.[break][break]

Walking deeper in, Sebastian kept a keen eye out for movement; taking care to glance up as his brood formed a defensive circle around him. He contemplated sending them deeper into the scout but preferred to have them on hand in case of battle."Really wish I had Hana's scouting watch right about now."[break][break]

After having walked 5 minutes in, Sebastian paused as his brood fell silent around him. "I'm surprised you all let me get so far in." he called out to the darkness around him. Glancing up, he stared nonchalantly into the gleaming multiple black eyes of 6 spiders.

Sebastian let a small smirk appear on his face as he caught Hana's reaction to his brood appearing. Truthfully, he didn't have to create them from his own body; he could simply have them form in his general surrounding. One of the reasons he created them the way he did was simply because he enjoyed the reactions they got from others.[break][break]

Seeing her equipping items, Sebastian decided that he should probably do the same. Looking over his inventory, he realized it had been a while since he had last used anything from his inventory. Most of the stuff was a bit useless but there were some things that could be handy. Selecting the web trap, axe, pop-up book, newly received compass, and his trusty feather blades, the teen felt he was ready to deal with whatever came and he didn't have to wait long.[break][break]

As his brood changed in, Sebastian turned to see what Hana was doing only to see the girl clutching a large cannon. "Yeah...that's typically what they do..." he said as she stored the cannon back in her inventory before watching her charge forward with a hammer. "Where did she get the cannon?"[break][break]

The fishman was incredibly weak, so weak in fact that Hana had completely smashed one into seawater, causing the 2 groups to temporarily stop fighting in surprise. Sebastian was quick to reestablish order in his brood, having them kill 2 of the fishman before he spawned another group, bringing the total to 10.[break][break]

He commanded the group to bite and drag the escaping fishman back to land, slaughtering them while the system announced the completion of the first Ender's Island mission before a prompt for the second mission popped up. "Seems the next part is to establish a base here and gather resources. I can see how Enigma speed through this."

"Of course." Sebastian stated, still smiling while on the inside he was wondering about the implications of this. He felt that Hana was foolish to just give him this item with the belief that he'd pay her back. He could easily choose to just never interact with her after this.[break][break]

"Yes, Enigma actually ended up being the first to beat the first part interestingly enough." the teen said, putting the compass into his inventory. He made a mental note to be on the lookout for anything that would be useful for the musician. Perhaps something would come up from Ender's island that she would want.[break][break]

Teleporting onto the beach, Sebastian wasted no time in creating his brood; 5 of the spiderlings rose out of his skin and fell to the sandy ground. The teen assassin turned to face the water, remembering that people had been talking about facing fishman in battle, and wasn't disappointed when a pack of 6 rose up from the shallows.[break][break]

"Well that didn't take long at all though I doubt any of them will be a challenge for us." the teen said in a bored tone before giving his brood the mental command to attack. "Figure we can each take half. I'll do clean up on any you don't manage to defeat." he said, unsure if Hana had picked up an area of effect damaging move or not.[break][break]

Teleporting to the nearest town, Sebastian immediately set out for the hollowed hills; summoning 5 of his brood once he left the city limits. Since he was going to be taking down a nest of spiders, he felt that it would only be appropriate if he used his own spiders to take them down. Besides, it was more likely that they would be able to sneak into wherever the nest was located far better than he could.[break][break]

"Alright babies, track down any spiders but remember. Don't attack them." Sebastian said as he sat on a boulder. The brood made agreeing chittering noises before they turned and headed into the brush. While he didn't need to verbally speak in order to give them orders but he liked being able to communicate with them. "It's nice to not be alone..."[break][break]

This thought of course brought up the fact that Sebastian hadn't heard anything regarding his family's massacre. He had last heard about that group about a year ago and he doubted that any of them had been killed during the tutorials. None of those bastards could be that weak. But because everyone had been so scattered when they were logged in, it was hard to try to find anyone.[break][break]

"Just need to keep an ear out for any other mercenaries or player killers."

It seems that Ender's Island had become the hot new commodity that everyone was flocking to. Everywhere he went, it was all everyone could talk about. Wondering what kind of plrewards were there while some lamented the fact that they were too weak to attempt it.[break][break]

By this point, Sebastian felt that he had put things off long enough and it was now time for him to start focus on mid-game. He had both his main and subclasses; providing him with a lot of variety. Plus his stats were fairly decent.[break][break]

"Still. Better to be safe than sorry." the teen muttered before scrolling through his contacts. Given Enigma had just completed the second portion, he was out. Stopping by Hana's name, Sebastian thought for a second before nodding to himself, deciding to Message her.[break][break]
