Re:World's first ever auction featuring all manner of magical items and the like was here! All in all the stage had been set. Droves of players would find themselves filtering into the doors of the auction hall, passing through the gallery and eventually taking their seats within the auditorium in which the auction would be held. As they would do this, they would be able to note the various high level guards that Earth-Chan had distributed throughout Unison Central to ensure that PVP wouldn't occur within the confines of the land. It was actually due to these guards having been stationed here that Olliver had chosen this place. In such a [SAFE ZONE] as this one, Olliver was certain that no one would be able to try and rig the results of the auction by interfering with him mentally or otherwise. Each player that had decided to come out would be gifted with a mask, a paddle, and ironically enough a dry erase marker. The intent is to ensure that each bid is placed upon the paddle before it is raised and displayed for the auctioneer. And of course the masks are meant simply for the safety of the players, given that anyone can attack another for their items once they have left this place. [break][break] Once everyone had found themselves seated, the show would officially begin. The luxurious bronze curtains would raise upon the stage and standing there, directly before the audience with a bronze Hawke's mask on, had been the man that had called everyone together. He was currently standing behind a podium, flanked by several guards, and was wearing a bright smile upon his face. "Hello, Hello one and all!!~ It is my sincerest pleasure to welcome you to the first ever Bronze Hawk's Bizarre Bazaar!!" As the man would shout this phrase aloud, confetti would burst overhead and drape down over the stage behind him. [break][break] As the crowd was presumably distracted with the confetti, Olliver would begin to filter through his menu and would proceed to display some of the info on the first item that was on the roster. Upon doing so, a holographic display menu would crop up before every individual that had chosen to attend the auction. From what had been displayed, there had been a pair of rather simple looking boots. Admittedly not something that was all that glamorous appearance wise. "First on our agenda shall be this magnificent pair of Big Bot Boots!! These boots, albeit simple in their appearance, contain a rather tremendous effect. Upon clicking the boots together, not only shall your size DOUBLE but you shall gain a +10 to your vitality for a bit as well!! Bidding begins at eighty points. Now.. While Olliver the Mage did have some kind of appeal to it, the man himself had known that there were far easier ways of coming out on top. With various people working under him, the man should remain safe for quite some time to come. And of course, there were the other items that he would ultimately have access to in the long run. For right now though? Well it was certainly an option. "Your words have some truth to them.. but if I were to remain as strictly a mage than would I really ever be able to protect myself? I think that things might work out far better if I could take on a few things from you. Learn the way of the sword perhaps or even see what other kinds of things you could teach me~" As he would go on to say this last part, Olliver would offer the woman a wink.

At the mention of having received another ability, Olliver couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow. Was this something that she had received just now from leveling? Or was it perhaps due to the fact that she had accomplished yet another feat and was rewarded by the system? "Oh? And what exactly does this new ability of yours happen to do?" While the man was aware of the fact that he could continuously work to empower himself, he simply hadn't thought that it was time to do so yet. Once this auction of his was over though? Well with the workaround that he could receive from both the system and the players, Olliver was certain that he was going to be leveling up quite a bit in the future. At least until he can overcome a few things and achieve a subclass. Now that is what has ultimately caught the mans fancy.

From the looks of things, it was relatively clear that Olliver wasn't going to be getting Miss Flower anytime soon. Much like the scent-addled werewolf, Zhao had seemingly found himself under the influence of the scent that Miss Flower had been emitting. Truly a strange development, given the fact that such a thing was only supposed to work against monsters that were spawned in by the system. Was this man simply messing with him to test his patience or was he actually under the influence of Miss Flower's pollen? And if he actually was under the influence, just what was the reason behind such a thing? Olliver couldn't make heads or tails of the situation one way or another. All that he had known was that this situation.. Well it was going to irritate the ever living hell out of him if he had to fight against his own teammate to accomplish this mission.

"What in the hell are you doing? You do know that Himari is our only real sense of protection at the moment, right? Seriously, you need to touch grass or something if you are considering ruining our mission over this damned flower." The very fact that this flower was meant to be used to lure in monsters, so that the party could slay them, was already causing Olliver to have a bit of a headache. Pair that with the fact that this man was now acting like one..

Rather than try and fight against the man at the moment, Olliver would simply begin to rub at the bridge of his nose. "You may not be interested in accomplishing this mission but I am. Every point matters in a situation like this, where our lives are placed on the line, and I refuse to allow you to ruin this for me." Allowing for his head to sway a bit from side to side, Olliver would raise his hand up and gesture the tip of his wand towards the flower pot. "Now are we going to work together on this or am I going to have to ruin this for both of us? Because I simply don't have the patience to play these kinds of games when my life is on the line."

Taking a moment to toss the rest of the stuff that she had just handed him into his inventory, Olliver would inspect over each of the items that he had just acquired. Naturally, the pieces that she had given him were all basic monster materials. Whatever use they would have in terms of crafting wasn't all that important to him. In his eyes, he had only cared about the points that he could wrack up by selling such pieces off to someone with an alchemist class or with a blacksmithing class. Perhaps he could even sell them to a summoning class as a means to bypass some kind of evolutionary standard for the summons. Either way, what had mattered the most to the man had been the wand that he had just acquired.

"Well, if the name and description are any indicator, it seems to be some kind of frost wand. Or something akin to it. It's known as the Wand of Shared Misery and deals various bits of damage over time. There is the initial blast damage from being hit by an arcane bolt of ice but after a bit of time, it would seem as though that ice casts some kind of frostbite damage over the enemy. Such a thing would be rather useful were I to be focusing on leveling my stats but.. I'll likely just pawn it off to someone else to see what I can get from it."

With such knowledge in mind, he had become rather aware of the fact that he would make a killing off of this wand. Whether that be via selling the gnarled wand to a player or the system itself, Olliver was about to be bringing in some rather decent points. "It's too bad that I don't know too many people that are rather magic centric classes at the moment." While the merchant and those around him had been rather lucky that the carnelian's hadn't blown up, Olliver couldn't say that he wasn't hoping to see these things in action. Perhaps he can test them out a bit once he had acquired them for himself. Not that he would really be holding onto these things for all that long. After all, he was simply in the game to bring better rewards. If he acquires these things from the man than he is simply going to be holding onto them until he can sell them. Upon Zhao having picked up the already annoying sentient flower, Olliver would begin to approach the man. "I honestly think that it might be best if I carry that. You have to focus on shouting out orders and the like, I assume. That and well.. If things get off to a bad start, I could get this thing out of here before any trouble comes to it. Shoot the mission over in one quick shot." Whether Zhao would wish to hand off the plant or not was clearly up to him but Olliver had made his point. Not that he would bother to argue with the man had he chosen not to follow through.

Once the addict werewolves would find themselves encroaching upon the duo, Olliver would begin to shake his head from side to side. In his mind, it wouldn't exactly have been the best for these damned things to come on over and fuel their habits. If nothing else, it was likely that the creatures had been nothing more than NPCs that would need to be avoided . Either that or dealt with. "No, we most assuredly should not allow for them to have a whiff." Figuring that things might kick off into a fight soon, Olliver would begin to power up his ability, movin' shop, and would wait for it to take effect. "There is no use in fueling somethings habit to something that is entirely likely to be bad for them."

As he had awaited a response, Olliver would utilize a free hand and would draw forth a gnarly, black wand with white veins across it from his inventory. All in all, he was hoping that he wouldn't have to make use of the thing. If he had though.. Well at least it would likely be put to use in assisting this Himari and her 'master'. Of course, whatever happens next would also be entirely dependent on the actions of Zhao.

With everything that had been going on with the world as of late, Olliver had found himself with a rather growing interest in the business of others. Who lived and who died. What it was that they had been equipped with and perhaps had found themselves in need of. These were only a few of the things that had constantly filled the businessman's mind as he had meandered about a the UK countryside. [break][break] Recently he had come upon a single individual whom had supposedly been hoping to make a name for themself. An individual whom had been hoping to sell their services as a monster hunter whilst overusing the word professional. This was someone that had caught the eye of the space trader as he himself had currently been looking for others that he could obtain for and retain within his employ. That having been the case, after having done a bit of digging around, Olliver would go out of his way to send a direct message to the man responsible for such postings. Or at least the most direct of a message that he could possibly send out. Rather than requesting aid in a monster hunt, Olliver had thought it best to invite this individual out to the UK countryside so that he could test out the mans capabilities. And if they were up to par? Well then he would have a possible recruit before him. Whatever it was that she had truly been to him. Either way, with this fondness having grown within his heart to the point that he could truly consider her a friends instead of a simple asset, Olliver had decided that it would be best for him to bring her out somewhere nice. Given the list of places that he had been aware of, it would seem as though the UK Countryside would be the most aesthetically appealing. Knowing that the two might be able to have a rather decent time together out here, Olliver would take the time to come out here on his own before inviting Nubia out to meet him there.
