[attr="class","nik2reescroll"] ”Okay, that makes it 26!” Nikolas was beaming. He had just dumped a lot of his points from Ender’s into leveling up. Something that he had not done too often. While he had racked up points, he seemed more inclined to save them for items and other non-essentials than leveling. Probably not the wisest of moves but so far he’s done well for himself. Emir was already so strong and seemed to have some cool items too. If Nikolas wanted to keep having adventures with him, then he needed to step up his game. He glanced over his new ability and stats before closing out of the windows. “Now that I’m level 26 I should be able to handle most of the monsters in the forest by the beach without any problems at all now.”[break][break] Nikolas let out a sigh of relief and looked up at the bright blue sky. The island was massive and a bit scary but for some reason, he loved it here. As he looked up he noticed for some odd reason it seemed to become increasingly dark. Thick clouds of fog started to block out the sun and the space around him. He was on the beach so there shouldn’t be any sort of threat but the hairs on the back of his head seemed to act differently. A small pop-up window appeared before him. [break][break]

[break][break] A hidden zone? How? When? Nikolas took a few steps back as the thick mist wrapped more and more around him. How did he trigger this special zone? He had not moved from his place on the beach. A golden light filled his right hand. He made an arching movement with it causing the light to blast through the vapors and illuminate the black stone structure before him. While he could not make out the entire structure, he could make out the black oily stone that seemed to build the building. Cautiously, Nikolas moved forward up a grand staircase leading up into the building. “Hopefully, this isn’t some trap-filled place.” He wasn’t used to exploring places like this alone and was honestly quite nervous. His experience so far with this world though was there was not much room in running away. You seemed to have to press forward and hope for the best. As he submitted the top of the stairs, he noticed some peculiar symbols along a grand marble landing before a set of massive black and gold doors. Before the doors was a small chat window. "Okay.. Just one more attempt at this whole merchant in the new world thing. The auction itself might not have worked out but this, a more permanent shop, should do it. If not.. Well I'm not sure what purpose I'll serve in this Re:Earth. I mean, hell, even my class says merchant!!" As Olliver had begun to speak these words aloud within his new shop, located within Unison Central, the smell of rust and rot would begin to overtake the man's senses. This was a newly renovated space so he wasn't quite sure where the smell had been coming from. All that he could do in response was slightly gag and immediately throw his hands over his nose. "What in the he-" Before he could eve finish his thoughts, a thick fog would begin to rise from the ground below. Slowly but surely, this fog would overtake Olliver's vision and he would be forced through a pseudo-teleportation of sorts.

Once the fog that had completely emersed Olliver had dissipated, the man would find himself at the bottom of a grand staircase of sorts. "..seriously, what is going on??" Not at all feeling safe with the events that have thus transpired, Olliver would begin to inspect the area around him. Upon doing so, a soft susurrus would escape from behind him. The portly man had practically jumped out of his skin as a scaly being would begin to wrap around his form. "Holy shi-" It was then that he would take notice of the fact that this scaly being had been his very own horned serpent, Dendar. "What are you doing..?? You scared me half to death, you know??" The horned serpent would continue to brush its head against Olliver as the man had pondered over how he could manage to store the beast away in the future. Not that he didn't wish for the snake to remain with him at all times!! It was just pretty damned difficult to maneuver ones way through a place without notice when they had a fifteen foot snake slithering after them.

Figuring that he could piece that together later, Olliver would gently pet Dendar along the bridge of his nose. "While I'm not sure how we managed to get here, I suppose that things will work out in our favor with the both of us here. Let's get moving." At that point, both Olliver and his slithery companion would begin to make their way up the grand staircase. Upon arriving at the top, of course, the man would immediately take note of a couple of things. The first had been the blond haired individual that was rather dapperly dressed. The other had been the symbols along the marble landing and the massive doors at the other end. "I take it that you know why we've been brought here?" Of course, as he had stated this last bit, he had been meaning himself and Dendar.

In fact, he old had enough time to take out some blank pages from his sketchbook and pencils and had starting etching some of the symbols that he could reach. There were a few pages scattered around the ground as the stranger started to approach Nik at the top of the stairs. For being in a mysterious place and in a world where half the stuff wants to kill you Nik was rather relaxed. The voice of the man definitely drew his attention and caused him to scurry in a flurry. “Oop! Sorry, sorry, sorry I wasn’t trying to do anything but sketch the symbols on your place. They were too cool and unique looking…” That’s when the registered what was being asked of him. “Oh, no not a clue. I’ve only been here five maybe ten minutes?” Nik shuffled his papers back into one large chaotic pile and stuffed them into his inventory. [break][break] He stood up and dusted himself off before approaching the man. He took a few steps forward before immediately backtracking at the sight of the rather large snake following the man. “Woah, hold up. What is that?” Nik wasn’t particularly afraid of snakes but the site of one in a spooky temple like this didn’t put his mind in a safe place. He had ran into Min-su and he had a dog as a companion, maybe this man’s class was like that. Some sort of tamer? Before the newcomer could give a response, a chatbox appeared before the pair. [break][break] All parties have arrived, the Temple of the Architect is now unlocked.

An understandable reaction in a place such as this, but some of the things that he was saying were throwing the merchant off. He seemed to believe that Olliver was the owner of this place. While such a statement would have been rather nice, he simply couldn't admit to such a fact. Especially considering the fact that it would seem the two were brought here for one reason or another. That being the case, he would simply wave away the concerns that this man was throwing at him. [break][break] "It's no big deal, really. As I'm sure you can now tell, this isn't my abode. In fact, I'm still not sure why it is that the three of us are here." It was only now that Olliver would begin to take a true glance at the runes that had been located around the room. From what he could tell, he couldn't exactly translate them either. A strange sentiment considering the fact that most, if not all, languages had been auto translated for those that had been labeled as players. "What you're doing here is smart. Not too concerned about how the entire thing might have sounded, the man would simply shrug. "Rather than worry about that, I suppose that we should focus on this??" "I've never heard of this Temple of Architects before now. Can't recall it being in any of the mythology that I studied earlier on. It honestly kind of bothers me that we've been summoned to such a place.. Given that we can't really get any answers unless we get a move on though, I suppose that we should head towards those doors?" At that, Olliver would point towards the massive black and gold doors at the other end.

"I'm Olliver by the way. You might know me by another name though. The Bronze Hawk." This was a name that had circulated about the Hub at two separate instances. One instance was associated with a player run auction that was selling magic items and the other would be tied to the opening of a new store within Unison Central. "I look forward to getting to know you." As he would say this, Olliver would begin to focus on the man before him. Discerning Eye Activated. As he had done so, a display window that only Olliver could see would begin to float over the mans head. 'Level twenty six, huh?? Given how high our levels are, I'm sure that this place isn't going to be all that easy to work our way through.'

A curt nod would be offered to the man as they would refer once more to the sketches. In time, it was entirely likely that they would come to be rather useful. For the time being though, they were something that the duo could place on the backburner. Of course, once the conversation had drifted towards the auction that Olliver had attempted, the portly man would laugh a bit and rub softly at the back of his own head. "Yeah.. I felt as though that auction was going to help a lot of the lower leveled players. It's too bad that no one really took an interest in it. Could have saved quite a few lives, I'm sure.."

Almost as though there was a tinge of regret within his voice, Olliver would do his best to try and cover it up. "These kinds of things happen though, I suppose. Now I'm simply offering my goods in a different manner. Doing whatever I can to ensure that players all over this newfound world of ours survive." Taking a moment to gesture towards the doors that were on the other side of them, Olliver would smirk a bit. "Perhaps we'll find something in there that will keep all of us in a good place for awhile."

As Nikolas would offer a hand to him, Olliver would use his spare hand to reach out and grasp a hold of Nikolas's. He would proceed to offer the man a firm handshake, albeit that of a regular ol' humans. Once the conversation had moved onto Ender Island though, Olliver would quirk an eyebrow at the man. Olliver himself hadn't actually gone out to such a place as of yet. It was something that he had placed on the backburner as he had waited for Nubia to get ready. Given how long she was taking though, perhaps it would be better for him to attempt to traverse the island on his own. At least until he could reach a decent point in which he could pair up with this Nikolas fellow.

"Ender Island, huh?? You'll have to tell me about it sometime. I intend on checking it out soon, hopefully. If we survive whatever is going on in here then perhaps we can team up on the island afterwards. If you'd like, that is." Another nod would naturally be offered up to Nikolas as the two would continue to speak. "Archaic is likely the world that you are thinking of. Either that or.. perhaps something primordial. Ancient. Honestly, I'm sure that we'll figure it out once we proceed further inside."

As the two would begin to proceed past the doors, a notification would appear before Olliver's eyes, offering him the chance to party up with the man beside him. Seeing no real reason to fight against this, Olliver would accept the party invite. "Guess that brings us together." A short laugh would escape the mans lips before he would be offered another notification window. "Any core stat, huh..?? This is a pretty damn useful skill you've got here." The speed stat would be selected for both Olliver and his horned serpent, thus pushing Olliver's speed to B-Ranking and Dendar's speed to C-Ranking. "We'll definitely have to consider working together more often in the future."

Ollie’s explanation of his shop and how he handled the auction was sweet. You could tell that he was genuine. Nikolas’ smile turned a bit sour when it seemed that the whole auction didn’t go to plan for Ollie. He patted him on the back and gave him a friendly and caring look. “That’s very thoughtful of you. The world is full of shit and monsters now so even the seemingly pointless item could be of great use later on. No need to think of it has a failure on your part or that you had anything to do with the lack of interest. People these days are too busy worrying about if the monster under the bed is real. Its harder to catch their attention. Perhaps, when we get out of here I can make some posters or something for you. I was an artist back in the day.” He gave another quick pat and moved forward into the temple.

Once past the large doors, Nikolas gave his eyes a moment to adjust to the dimmer light inside. He was cautious going forward. Having grown up on movies like Indiana Jones, he knew that these sort of places were likely boobytrapped. Having realized that Ollie was allocating his buff from Nikolas’ skill, the man paused in his stride. “I’m always down to party up and do things. I haven’t made too many friends since this whole world went upside down and I can’t find my family either. Its actually what I’ve been trying to do but I got swept up on Ender’s. It’s stated to be in Europe at least, so I’m starting to make my way closer to them.” Nikolas went through his items and quickly equipped the five items that he couldn’t live without so far. His robe, sketchbook, earring, sword, and ring. With all five now equipped he wasn’t too afraid of some old dusty temple.

“Let’s press on whenever you’re ready. I have a feeling this Architect called us both here for a reason. “ His eyes slowly took in the space before them. It was a large hallway with a ceiling that seemed to go on forever. The hallways was dotted with torch holders and small alcoves in the wall where various statues lined. While he could see their shapes, he couldn’t make out any facial expressions or any real details due to the shadows. There was a single torch lit by the door the pair stood in while all the others lining the hall seemed to have been unlit. “Creepy…” He muttered quietly. He took a few more steps forward and the torches on the wall crackled to life. “You get the feeling we’re being watched?” He asked in a hushed tone. While he had definitely become braver these past few months he wasn’t a knight in shining armor. He was still that timid lad deep down in his heart.

Sure, he now had to face a sleuth of monsters and the like, but at least he was still a merchant!! Not that he would dwell on these thoughts for all that long. Unsurprisingly, it would seem as though there were individuals that Nikolas was trying to get back to or to locate. This.. was something that Olliver had heard a lot about since the light had descended upon their world. Individuals that would search for their families or their friends. People that they had once loved. For Olliver, there was no one like that. Not before the light anyways.

Eventually the pair would continue to move on deeper into the building. In doing so, naturally, the horned serpent that had been accompanying Olliver would follow alongside them. From what Olliver could tell, this place had been just as majestic as it had seemed. Or at least it's overall never ending hallways had made it seem that way. "Perhaps the torches will light themselves as we proceed onward??" It was just a theory but one that Olliver was considering putting to the test. The intent to put it to the test wasn't something that would prevent him from checking though.

Before the duo would make their way all that far into the hallway, Olliver would activate his discerning eye. Through this, the portly man would begin to gain various bits of information on the area that he had been focusing on. Information that he would proceed to pass on to Nikolas, so as to ensure that everyone was on the same page. "From the looks of it, this place seems to have been around for a few thousand years at least. Approximately four thousand nine hundred and thirty nine years, from what I can tell." It was rather specific information to be sure but also information that he had believed to be true. This is all assuming that his skill was telling the truth of course. Honestly, it was more likely that this was something the system had wanted him to believe.

"There doesn't seem to be much of an airflow, with the exception of the air coming from behind us. And I suppose.. a bit farther in?? I can't really be sure until we get to that point." Olliver would then tap his foot on the ground a couple of times. "Even the materials that this place is made of seem to be rather ancient." All of these things seemed to be rather interesting, given what he had known about this place. "I wonder where exactly we are." Scratching at the back of his head a bit, Olliver would begin to move forward once more. "I guess there's no real point in standing around then. If something really is watching us.. Well, we'll just have to take care of it on our own."

If Nik was drinking something he would have shot it out of his mouth. How old did Ollie say this place was? Thousands of years old? How is that possible? Nothing that old looked like this. The pyramids were old and still in decent condition but nothing like this. “You sure its that old? Do you think the light came to Earth before all this? Or maybe aliens?” He was a bit concerned. Nik was scared but the only way to go was forward so onward he pressed. “Stick close by, I don’t have any defensive abilities and I’m not the fastest.”

Once the party was inside the hallway the large doors behind them slammed and the torches near the entrance snuffed out. It was okay though, several other torches had burst to life as they moved ahead. No matter how he looked at it, Nikolas couldn’t shake the feeling something bad was going to happen. He slowly walked forward, ensuring the next set of torches would light up. Nik took a step forward and felt the tile beneath him sink in. His heart immediately jumped. A trap? “Ollie-” He was cut off as the sound of clicks and gears churning became rather loud. ” Trap!” Above the pair of men, dozens upon dozens of arrows began to fire downward at the pair.

While Nikolas tried to jump forward and avoid the arrows, he was still caught in the crossfire. Thankfully, his shield of light would appear and begin to absorb that damage. It must not have been too high-end as the shield still remained after the arrows stopped firing. That was a relief. What wasn’t was the fact that something was now moving towards not just Nikolas but also Ollie and his snake. Five of the nearby stone statues had already left their pedestals and were on the ground. Each was different than the next. One had four arms while the other four had just two. Every single one of them had weapons in their hands and shields. One of them seemed to be a magician. Behind him were orbs of flames springing to life. Where in the actual fuck did Earth-chan bring them?

Aliens... Now that was something that Olliver hadn't even considered. To a degree, it would make sense. 'The Light that Crosses Worlds' is something that no one could really understand in the past and even now, after it's resurgence, things have changed quite a bit. But could this really be the work of extraterrestrials?? Or is this something more aligned with the gods or the will of the universe?? It's definitely something to look into in the future. "I'm not quite sure what brought about this place, or the changes that we have faced up until now, but I am certain that that is the age of this place. Or at least how old it is in this world. And as for defending me?? Well I'll stick close but expect me to move out of the way if something is coming my way."

The two would continue down the path and torches would continuously find themselves lit aflame. A tactic that might worry some but not Olliver. Even the fact that Nikolas had set off a trap didn't worry Olliver all that much. If anything, it had simply triggered his survival instinct to dip the hell out of there. Truly a strange phenomenon considering how worried he used to get. Did it have something to do with the rank of his WIL?? "Right." This was something that Olliver would have to worry about later. For now he would simply dodge out of the way of the arrows, jumping back a few feet. It was thanks to his quick movement that he would bear witness to the shield of light that would wrap itself around Nikolas. An interesting sight to behold. One that he would have to keep an eye on in the future.

The fact that all of these statues were moving towards them had put Olliver in a higher state of alert. From what he could see, there had been five in total. The majority were decked out in weapons and shields but one specific statue seemed to have been a magician of sorts. That.. That was something that Olliver was going to need to focus on. That being the case, the merchant would remove his dimensional slicer from his inventory and fully equip it. "I'll focus on the merchant. Try and take down some of the other individuals if you can. And Dendar?? Fuck 'em up."

Having said his piece, Olliver would focus in on the magician in the back. The 1s and 0s that had dwelled within his pupils would begin to pick up in pace as he had activated one of his skills. 'Discerning Eye Activated. Target Selected. Dismantle Occurring.' From that point, a glowing coin would shoot forth from Olliver's eye and would slam into the magician statue in the back. Whilst this was happening, the magician would send forth the orbs of fire that it had been charging up. The radius of the orbs had been rather large, and even the speed of them had been decently quick, but that was something that Olliver had refused to allow to continue. Once the coin had left from his eye, Olliver rush in front of Nikolas and would proceed to slice through the very fabric of space between himself and the orbs. Each of those orbs of fire would be consumed by the spatial rift before the rift itself would seemingly dissipate. "I look forward to seeing what you are capable of, Nik."

With everything that had been happening at the moment, Dendar had done exactly as it was told. The horned serpent would slither towards one of the statues and would attempt to slam its horns into the being. Unfortunately, the blow for Dendar wasn't nearly as capable as Olliver would have preferred. With time, perhaps it would get stronger. At this very moment though?? That much couldn't be said.

Ollie jumped in front of Nik and sliced the air with his magical sword. In an instant, the fire that was about to cook them alive ceased to exist. Nik wouldn’t let this opportunity go to waste. An orb of light filled his fingertips for a moment before extending itself into a rope of light. He would proceed to lash out at the statue nearest to him. The light slammed against the stone beast and caused it to stagger for a moment but did not fully destroy it. Gritting his teeth, Nik slashed using his own blade, causing the arm of the monster to be completely lobbed off. He smirked, while he might not have killed the creature, he had at least wounded it to a point that it was no longer a true threat.

“I hope I can give you a good enough show Mr. Hawk.” He said with a bit of mischief in his tone. Nik was a bit careless, the one-armed statue, while not as deadly, still was a giant piece of marble looming over him. A swing of its one good arm smashed right into Nik’s shield causing it to shatter into hundreds of golden pieces of light. “Well shit.” He said before taking a step back. Nik didn’t want to use up all of his abilities just right off the bat but if the pair didn’t weed out these statues, who was to say they would make it out alive?

From what he could see thus far, Nikolas had been a decently capable individual. He had managed to protect himself in a few instances and had even managed to lob off one of the marble statues arms, effectively dis-arming it. Something that Olliver had realized was likely a pun in and of itself. "Not bad, Nik, not bad." From the looks of things, the trio had been in a rather tough spot. If they couldn't mitigate some of the incoming damage and lower the enemy count then they were screwed. Even with that being the case though, Olliver didn't feel all that worried. Perhaps it was the stats that he had accumulated showing their effects or perhaps it was just his faith in the three of them. Either way, it wasn't something that he had felt all that anxious about.

Deciding to take the initiative in bringing down at least one of these creatures, Olliver would slice through the air once more. As he had done so, the orbs of fire that had once been consumed would now come exiting from the tear in space that Olliver would recreate. Each of these orbs of fire would essentially be redirected to sender as they had begun to pelt the stone magician from before. From the looks of things, the magician wasn't in the best of states after having received it's own blast. "This enough to reassure you, Nikolas?" The merchant would proceed to take the life of the stone magician by sending forth yet another of those glowing coins. Paired with the damage of the balls of fire and the coin from before, the stone magician would have no choice but to crumble.

With one of the statues out of the way, the remaining four would find themselves enabled with a fury that had caught Olliver off guard. They would attempt to harry the trio by bellowing down upon them where they could. Two heavy blows would attempt to take out Olliver but he had just barely managed to escape from their attacks. If it wasn't for the buff that Nikolas had applied to Olliver than Olliver likely would have been crushed in that moment. "I'll have to be sure to thank him after all of this." That was all that would run through the merchants mind as he had begun to focus on evasion. As for Dendar, the horned serpent that had been attempting to bring down a statue all on it's own?? Well it had continued to batter the statue with it's horns whilst taking a heavy blow from the statue. Honestly, things weren't looking great for the serpent.

Nik gritted his teeth. Ten minutes in and he’s already having to use his abilities. Not just his own but one of the ones he had copied. While he was not too sure how this power would play out in a team, he knew he could give himself a nice boost and finish off the remaining statues in one go. He just had to hope there was enough breathing time between the next fight for his cooldowns to fall off. A screen had popped up alerting both Ollie and Nik that Nik’s passive had bumped up in terms of effect. They could each pick one stat and have it risen by +1 rank temporarily. Nik knew immediately the combo he was about to utilize. He placed the point immediately into his [MAGI]. He shouted before his eyes changed to an odd pattern. “Hold still Ollie!” A clock seemed to form on his pupil and the space around him became drastically slower. As it did, an aura engulfed him. His [MAGI] stat was not buffed +1 but by +2! It sored from a C-rank skill to an A-rank one.

A magic circle appeared overhead and thirteen streams of light poured down. The light would quickly weave its way to the stone statues and begin to berate them until the statues were falling apart. Their slowed movements coupled with Nik’s huge boost in power would spell doom for them. As the last statue fell, Nikolas threw a dagger of light toward the serpent that had been taking a beating. As the dagger melted into the flesh of the snake, its wounds would begin to heal. The dust around the men was thick and it warped the light from the few torches lit. Nik wasn’t out of breath but it was a bit of a toll on his stamina to utilize three abilities like that at once. “You two okay?” He said in a careful tone. “Let’s take a moment to collect ourselves. There’s something I need to do…” This temple might have been a lot more difficult than he originally suspected. Perhaps, Nik was taking things a bit too safe. “I think I need to level up some before we go any further. I might not make it at my current level.”

He pulled up his character screen and started to distribute points to his level and stats. Before he was done he had gotten a prompt to pick a sub-class. “A sub-class? What’s this?” Nik selected the option ‘Arcane Alchemist’. The screen pulled up and Nik read what came with this sub-class. His eyes widened as he noticed that it was just not a sub-class that was new for him. The sketchbook in his hand had also upgraded. “Oh wow, this was not what I was expecting.” With his new class, Nik had a new ability at his disposal while down here. He also had some potential to really change the world with this new passive. “Ollie, when we get out of here I think we’ll need to do some business.” He said giving the man a smile.

As the fight had continued to rage on, another notification window would appear before the portly merchant. For some reason or another, an additional effect from Nikolas's passive was being activated. While Olliver hadn't quite understood what exactly was happening, he had understood that he was now capable of boosting a stat of his by another rank. It was with this knowledge that Olliver would simultaneously choose [MAGI] alongside Nikolas, boosting his own [MAGI] stat to that of A+. He was now capable of doling out A-Ranked damage... Something that he would have to keep in mind for as long as the buff was active.

Having selected that particular moment to accept the stat, Olliver would freeze up just as he had been ordered to do. There was no sense in moving when doing so might put himself in danger. "Dendar, you stop as well!!" Much like his owner, Dendar would freeze on the spot. It wasn't long after this that Nikolas would unleash some kind of overwhelming magic circle overhead. Precisely thirteen streams of light would flow forth from this magic circle and would proceed to bombard the statues, leaving Olliver and his horned serpent in a state of awe. This much alone was enough to be amazed by... That was at least until Nikolas had chosen to throw a dagger at Olliver's pet.

Unsure of just what was happening, Olliver would immediately throw himself towards Dendar. He had wished to take the blow from him, so as to ensure that he didn't lose the one true companion that he had in this place. Even with his boosted speed though, he simply wasn't fast enough and would have to watch as the dagger had soared directly into Dendar's form. To both Dendar and Olliver's surprise though, the dagger would melt upon impact, healing the horned serpent's wounds. "I..."

In the moment that he had been rushing towards his horned serpent, Olliver had felt an intense rage. His unfiltered bloodlust had showed itself for a ghost of a moment but it was evident either way. Knowing that this was something meant to heal Dendar though, now anyways, that bloodlust would quickly subside. His [WIL] would regulate his emotions in a way that it would seem as though the rage was never there.

For a moment, Olliver could do nothing more than stare at Nikolas. He had truly felt as though he was going to have to strike the man down.. Even if the possibility of him being unable to do so was quite real, he would have flipped the ever living fuck out if this man had struck down his ally. "...yes. We are quite alright. Moving forward though, if you intend to use a skill on my creatures, be sure to let me know of it's effects beforehand." Olliver would proceed to rub his face for a moment as he had taken the time to compose himself. "And sure, we can definitely do some business once we are out of here. I'll.. focus on advancing my levels for the time being as well." He would then proceed to throw a few stat points into their respective chosen stats, boosting his level to thirty five.

Dust would quickly litter the space in which Nikolas and Ollie stood. It was explosive, creating a shroud that enveloped the area in such dense stone debris that it impaired sight, however, ls a persistent thing in that the light cast by the torches still pierced the dirt. 30 feet away from them a dark silhouette could be seen, it was large and imposing, almost like that of an old-fashioned knight. One might think it was some other "player" some other person perhaps into medieval times, but the dust soon cleared revealing the truth of what stood in the distance. [break][break] The sound of crashing rocks, shifting dirt, and moving rubble could all be heard, alongside the faint sound of mechanical whirring. As the dust cleared slowly, a hole could be seen in the wall ahead, though as Nikolas and Ollie would possibly spot it they'd soon notice that the hole was immediately repairing itself! Though they had bigger issues to worry about, as what stood before them was a large creature, almost like that of a knight's chest piece comprised of stone! [break][break] The system soon revealed its name after it was clearly spotted, the golem held a large blade in its right hand. Though the length and size of it were odd for it to be a sword, in addition to that it was floating! A small piece of what looked like a handle could be seen. After the dust cleared more one could see It was a large 8-foot spear that had been shattered into pieces but still stood upright as if it was fully functional. [break][break] The knight golem looked almost like a large chest piece, two legs partially fused to what seemed to be a rock pile that held it up as a base, the top portion bulky befitting its stone body and humanoid in nature. Its left hand held a blocky kite shield. It shook violently for a mere moment as if it was trying to break free from its base, and as it did, some of the rust-colored rock seemed to flake off revealing a shiny carapace of metal in place of what was once thought to be stone for some of its body. It whirred back, the staff moving in a quick motion before it jutted its arm out, at B rank Speed and Power, Nikolas and Ollie would find that the floating spear blade was now carving through the air and flying right at them![break][break]

This ability is unable to be copied.[break][break] Shield Bash - Creates a translucent barrier of electric mana, that is a semicircle covering the golem as the center in a 10 ft radius. The barrier is equal to the golems [DEF]. Once per post, the golem and the barrier are both levitated 1 foot off the ground and then ejected toward a target through the use of magnetic polarity. This ability will target the user who dealt the strongest amount of damage to the golem last. If hit it will deal blunt and electric damage to the target equal to the golems [PWR]. Last 2 posts, 2 post cooldown. This ability is unable to be copied. [break][break] Intruder Contingency Beta - If this golem takes damage close to destroying it, or any amount of damage above the golem [DEF] rank twice, this ability will activate instantaneously. Upon activation the golem is removed from its "charging station", upon removing itself from the podium it will have a free range of motion of its legs and gain +1 Rank in [SPD], [DEF], and [PWR], as well as repairs 30% of the damage dealt to it. If the golems charging station is destroyed during this time (equal to the golems base [VIT]) the golem receives the recovered damage back and 50% extra damage to its VIT. Last 5 posts, 5 post cooldown. This ability last indefinitely if the charging station is destroyed.
