You are able to pay 200-points, plus a luck-based fee, to gain access to the forge and utilize it. The fee covers the first set of items used in the Forge, all others after that first use will cost 150 points plus luck fee to cover the cost of the Forgemaster.

Nikolas gives the option for him to utilize his sub-class for an additional 50-point fee per use. This utilization will allow you to combine three items instead of the standard two!

Nikolas charges all Forge and Mystery Box customers a 'Luck Fee’. Due to Nikolas' luck, he produces typically higher-quality gear. Each point of luck Nikolas currently will add ten (10) point fee per luck to your final total for the Forge and five (5) point fee per luck for each mystery box purchased.

Additionally, for those brave few, we may flip Nikolas' Coin of Fickled Fate and potentially add +1 luck for the final results! Transmutation Crystal The crystal itself is made of a shimmering, translucent material that seems to glow from within. It is about the size of a fist and has intricate etchings and runes inscribed on its surface. When activated, the crystal emits a bright, pulsating light and a faint humming sound. Three times per thread this crystal allows you to transmute any non-living object into another non-living object of equal or lesser mass. For example, you could transmute a rock into a pile of gold coins or a wooden stick into a sharp blade. It adds no true effectiveness to the item besides giving it a boost of +1 [DEF], this can be used on "flavor items" to create a +1 [DEF] shield in durability for 2 posts.

Tommy walked into the forge with his mask off, feeling a little dishonest but excited about what he could create with the items he had managed to obtain. He was hoping to convince the man to offer him a discount on the forge access and an additional slot, if possible. Tommy knew that time was of the essence and he was willing to do whatever it took to get his way.
"Good day! I'm here to acquire your services," Tommy said, putting on his best charming smile and trying to be as courteous as possible. "I heard that you have forge access as well as an additional slot available. Is it possible for me to use them today?"Tommy explained that he had the points to pay for the services but asked if he could catch a break just this once. He explained that points had replaced currency and his rent was due, but he believed that the items he had would change his life. He even went so far as to suggest that the man would be the one to change his life by helping him today. Tommy hoped that his words would be enough to convince the man to offer him a discount. He laid out the three items he had brought with him to show the man what he was capable of creating: the dragon bones, the clay, and the little creature item. "I need to survive," he said earnestly. "Will you please help me?"Tommy waited anxiously for the man's response. He knew that his request might be a long shot, but he was willing to try anything to get the help he needed. blank clay A moldable crafting material, it is pure white and can be called pretty. It feels good to touch but does nothing much. There is a note that it can only be used by Enigma.
Shadow Shade - You gain a small shadow creature that hides within your shadow and can manipulate its shape known as a “shade” it cannot deal harm and is equal to your [VIT] in durability. Three times per thread you can send your shade up to 20 feet away from you to hide within someone’s shadow. When doing so you can hear and see what the shade does.

NIKOLAS' MAGICAL MYSTERY SHOP

Nikolas had been just enjoying the quiet day in his shop. No longer was he some sketchy table on the street. He had saved up his points and bought a decent storefront in an ideal location. He sat on a stool behind the counter, just doodling away in his sketchbook. Today his mind’s eye had shown him a landscape of a field with tall grass and sporadic yellow flowers. If he had to pin the image to a location, he would say maybe the Countryside region up in the UK. He had done some work there early on with Emir but had not returned for a while.

The sound of the door opening perked Nikolas’ ears up. He lifted his gaze and saw a single-standing man. “Welcome! Please, feel free to have a look around. I’m here to answer any questions you might have.” The man gave Nikolas a smile and stated what he was looking for. Nikolas' mind quickly was swept away with thoughts of wanting to help this man. As the boy went on about why he needed the help, Nikolas couldn’t help but feel for him. He could understand why he was so distraught. He gave the boy a smile and motioned for him towards a door to the back room. “Don’t worry, you’ve come to the right place. I haven’t done many of these before, but it seems to turn out pretty alright. Since you're my first customer in my new shop and you seem like you really need a pick me up, I can wave some of the fees. It will still cost 150 points though, are you comfortable with spending that?” He said while walking towards the front door and flipping the open side around. He then went to the doorway that led to the backroom. “Alright, let’s see what we can get you. You’ll just hand over the items to me and I’ll give them to the Forge Master, from there its up to her to make something nice.” He walked through the narrow hallway until he came to a door. He summoned the forge and opened up the door to let Enigma in.

Upon gaining the items from Enigma, Nikolas paused for a moment, the bones in particular seemed rather interesting. He had seen some for sale on Enders. Perhaps this man was an explorer over there. Nikolas would give the items to the Forge master and wait for her steady hand to finish its task.

It was kind of exciting to hear about all of the cool stuff that other people were doing if Summer was being honest. She knew already that people could fight and kill, that much was obvious but it was the simpler things that were far more appealing to her. Just the thought that people were actually starting to live instead of just survive, raising up shops and setting up fun moments and safe places. She didn't have much that would help with that but she could protect as many people as she could and to do that she might need to get some item upgrades.

Compared to what some other people were carrying, she was definitely falling behind. So it was that she had heard through the grapevine about someone offering a way to help, either selling items or having a way to upgrade them apparently. She wondered if it was similar to that weird place she had found after she had defeated fake Santa, the place that gave her the fancy puffer jacket that she was wearing. Today she had coloured it purple to go with a crop top with a shooting star on it and a pair of black leggings covered in twinkling stars. She had some stuff on her she would love to be able to throw together, so now was the time.

She cracked open the door to the shop and peeked in, it definitely seemed like it was open but she still didn't want to properly intrude. "Hello there! My name is Summer! I was hoping you could help me upgrade some of my items?" She called out before gingerly stepping in and closing the door behind her. Her hair had been pulled up into a ponytail and she looked pretty relaxed, more just doing her best not to bump into anything. She couldn't help but browse a little bit though. Some of the items were certainly interesting but there was nothing that really caught her eye.

The sound of the small bell above the door prompted Nikolas to look up from his sketchbook. A rather beautiful woman was poking her head in. "Summer? You're not supposed to be here for another six days or so." A dad joke to lighten the mood. Nikolas closed his tome and stood up. He was very casual with just a simple white t-shirt and acid wash jeans on. There was a small cardigan resting on the chair behind him but he found that he smudged too often when wearing it. He waved the girl to come on in while giving her a large grin. "Sorry, poor tastes in jokes. Come on in."

Nikolas moved from behind the counter and walked over to the girl. He took notice of her jacket and gave it a curious look. Something about it seemed familiar in some sense. "I'm Nikolas and welcome to my shop. You mentioned a need to upgrade your gear. Well, I've got some decent items laying about that might help you out, or if you've got the points we could always go to the Forge for a quick crafting expedition."

There was a moment of intense panic in Summer's eyes when Nikolas first spoke. Had she made an appointment and forgotten about it? Was there someone else named Summer who was supposed to show up later and there had been mistaken identity? Could this person see the future?! Then it finally clicked what he was actually saying and she let out a sigh of relief, placing her hand on her chest before letting out a laugh and shaking her head. The worry faded from her immediately and she finally took a proper look at the man who owned the store. He was very pretty and seemed friendly, she needed to do her best not to make a bad impression.

"You scared the heck out of me there! I thought I'd forgotten an appointment." She jokingly chided him, wagging a finger before wandering over and holding her hand out towards Nik. "It's lovely to meet you though, Nikolas! Also did you say the forge? I've been there before! I beat up a fake robot Santa and then I got taken away to a strange place and I gave this person some of my stuff and they gave me this really cool coat I've got now!" She declared, emphasising the end with a little twirl. "It's super cool that you get to go there whenever you want though!"

She gave a nod and then put a hand on her hip and cocked her head to the side as she thought about the items she had seen. She was far more in the mood for an upgrade though, so hearing about the forge was great! "Oh I'd like to go to the forge again, please! I've got some stuff I wanna put together. How many items am I allowed to fuse together again? I didn't have that many the first time I went to the forge." She gave a shrug and put her hands behind her back, rocking back and forth on her heels, waiting to hear what her options were.

He chuckled at Summer's response. She seemed to have a decent sense of humor about her. Her interest was heavily leaning toward the Forge. "Yep! The one and only Forge. I got lucky with my class choice I guess." Nikolas walked over to the door and flipped the Open sign to Close. Once he bolted the shop's door he turned back to her. "A robot Santa? How bizarre. I haven't come across any robots since the new world. Plenty of ghouls and vampires. The undead seem to stalk me it seems." He tried to keep the conversation light. That's how you land a sale.

"We can go whenever you like. I can fuse up to three items at a time but there are some additional fees associated with that." He looked over towards the price table sitting on the counter. "If you don't have the points for the whole experience, I'm sure we can look to working something out. I'm also open to trading items too. I find great use in nearly everything out there in the world. You see that ice cube over there? It's shaped like Ice Cube the Rapper and has some powerful debuffs. Simply delightful isn't it?" He walked towards where the door to the stalk room would have been if he had extra wares. "If you're ready, let's head on down to the Forge. But I have to say this every time. Just trade me the items and let me handle the smith. She doesn't talk and I don't think she likes the fact that I have a key to her house at all times. She still crafts me up some good gear though." He had already turned the knob on the door and opened it up to reveal the Forge's hallway. He waited for Summer to enter before he followed suit. Once they were at the Forge, he would take the items from Summer and give them to the smith.

Unison Central had a lot of shops. A lottttt of shops. Argent walked through a busy street with her arms thrown behind her hand. ”Man, why’s there gotta be so many?! I just wanna find some nice loot!” Each shop seemed specialized for its own little purpose or niche, but it was almost to the point that she could spend days sifting through them all! [break][break]
It got to the point where she stopped going inside of each little shop, instead relying on the pictures on the door and displays in the window to tell her when one would have something she wanted… but it still didn’t narrow it down by much.[break][break]

Jeanne was grinning as she walked the streets. She still wasn't sure about the whole 'doing business without Papa' thing, but he also always told her that money is time! She would definitely do better not wasting time on useless things like worrying about her Dad. She already had a plan to draw him back in to her, and she had Kitty for help in keeping herself safe and off the streets... assuming she didn't annoy the woman in between then and now with the goals. Nikolas had his back to the door as he was trying to hang up a new painting he had just bought for the shop. A small old woman a few blocks over had an artist-based class and he thought her work was simply divine. He was an artist himself and thought he was decent but her uses of bold colors and abstract shapes just really forced the mind to work. While he had heard the small bell chime to signal a customer, his hands were full at the moment. "Hello, welcome come on in. I'm just finishing some stuff up here." He mounted the frame and turned around to see a small pink-haired child inquiring if he was Nikolas. He leaned over the counter and lowered himself slightly to match her level. "Oh! Well hello, there sweetheart. I am Nikolas. Is everything okay? Are you meeting your parents here or something?" It was queer to see a child without an adult around. Most the kids without parents either found a foster or staying in an orphanage in town. It must be hard to be a kid in this kind of setting.

Nikolas blinked blankly. “Me? You’re looking for me?” How did a kid come to be looking for him? The shop had only been open a month or so, not very long at all. Still, there seemed to be a reputation about it. It excited him but made him nervous. Nikolas didn’t enjoy this kind of attention. It’s one of the reason he was hesitant to tell people his classes’ real abilities. He moved from behind the counter to the middle of the shop. Lucky for him, it was just the two of them there. “A merchant guild? Well, that’s pretty neat thing for you to do.” He patted her on the head and walked over to a small table near the entrance and plucked a small basket with muffins. He motioned for her to pick one while he would opt to grab a blueberry muffin of his own. “Beaumonth Trading Company? That’s that French company correct? I’m from Germany so its a familiar name to me. Couldn’t tell you what they did though.”

He sat down on his stool and began to unwrap his muffin, plucking a blueberry as it crumbled away. “That’s pretty interesting. A merchant class. Not too many of us around. Thank goodness for Mrs. Prens. She owns the bakery a few blocks away. Has a baking based class. You’ve never had a muffin like her’s, I can guarantee that.” He smiled and took a bite. While he was listening to the girl’s words, he was trying to still keep in mind it was just a child before him. She sounded so sure of herself and her purpose. He couldn’t be that grumpy adult that popped her poor sweet bubble. “It’s a good thing you got a merchant class, kid’s don’t have any business being out there. “ Her enthusiasm for the idea of building connections and even founding a guild were amusing to Nikolas. Yes, the world has changed but it was nice to see kids still having faith in themselves and the future. Maybe, this was the start of the new world’s lemonade stand concept for kids. Nikolas held out his hand. “Sure, I’ll trade with you.” He would wait until she shook his hand before he would grip it tightly, not giving her a chance to break free but not tight enough to harm. “I do have a condition though. You have to swear not to go out there without proper supervision. Outside of the Safe Zones, kids should not be. “ His whole demeanor changed in that moment. His smile had faded and a look of seriousness took its place. Once it was said he released her hand and the pleasant merchant face returned. He picked at his muffin again. “So, how does this work? Do you have delivery dates in mind? I travel a bit for work so I’m not here consistently.”

Jeanne would nod along as Nikolas spoke. He was definitely what she imagined the German people to look like, she had done business with a few of them with her father. She however completely lacked world history education outside of business so she really didn't know much about the world. She would reply as politely as she knew how to, "Mhm!
