"I second what Ms. Natalya said, please keep your voice lowered. Preferably closed if you cant keep it hushed," Noelle would state somewhat sharply in Rory's direction. For the astute her clothes, or rather the drab cloth and her umbrella looked intensely different then what they once had. A sign she had visited the forge somehow. Something she was actually excited to show off even if it was kind of petty in a monetary way.

Taking a deep breath she would sigh, "Alright though, since we don't have much choice I'm going to suggest we head north west. Though I am sure heading too deep west may be a bad idea. I think we can stay within a few miles of this location and be relatively safe while drawing enemies to us. So, again, stay somewhat close and lets head out. We'll be looking for a warehouse or other such location first, so keep peeled for a building with an open inside that looks easy enough to clear out and fortify."

It was good to see so many people willing to sign up for this. She also surprisingly knew two of the responders. Then again it was not hard to lure Rory out of wherever he was scurrying to make any extra money he could. Which was more than easy enough to get him sniffing for. Rory seemed to have a pension for danger or money, and frankly she was actually banking on that to find the group something more then nothing. It was what she wanted after all.[break][break]
The next she had recognized Natalya, who was Russian herself, which made the girl a shoe-in as well. She would have general knowledge of the land even if it was in complete ruin now, desecrated by the system and all that remained was hell. Nodding to both of them she turned her impassive gaze to the one that caused her anxiety - Dante. She didn't know this one, but she definitely did not like the look of that orb, even if it was an allies ability.[break][break]
He didn't look defensive at all with that creepy little orb of black, but Noelle showed none of that on
her face, "Good to see you all then. As two of you are aware my name is Noelle Washington, although surnames seem completely unneeded nowadays. I'm a battlefield controller that focuses on obfuscation and illusions to alter the enemies in a literal sense. With that said I'm looking to test theories within the mists and need allies for while were there. We will be seeking combats in a safe fashion and seeking riches while we do so. The goal of this first trip is to find a location we can secure and use it as a control space for fighting off waves. If all goes well we should have no issues especially given how attrition heavy we are."[break][break]

My own will be down by the morning and I plan to head to russia early so we can work with as much daylight as possible. It wont be much from what I have been informed. Okay, definitely a honest if shrewd man. She could put up with that for a while. Looking at him strangely as he seemed to be starring at one of his own menus, something she wasn't used to and could no see. Not all menu windows shared and that was evident by the common sense she prided herself on. It is why she had survived this long, and why she would continue to survive.

"Yes, that is more than satisfactory. If it wasn't Im not picky, though I will be fine if you do not wish to escort me the full way there. I have managed so far, I am sure I can make it the rest of the way if I try," Noelle would say politely trying to refuse the offer. She was confident in her ability to handle herself with or without help, so far not finding many new reasons to seek out companions.

She trusted herself alone, but suddenly having some random dude claiming to be a companion? That was a bit too much stress for her at the moment. She was tense enough without the potential crazy that came with others.

Straight face. Maintain a straight face. Noelle was shouting to herself mentally as she stared at the tiny spiderlings that erupted out of the man. She was too deep at this point to stop though, and rather then flinch away or freak-out Noelle simply observed the spiders as they moved around. They were friggin' massive, which was terrifying, but her WIL stat managed to quell and dull her emotions to stop her from visibly panicking at least. Assessing this to be part of the man's class.

Noelle would ask turning to face the giant musician behind her, a blank face hiding the fact that she was also cursing her hieght at that moment in time. It was a distraction, "If its all the same to you two I'd like to enter a party before we start this conversation if we really need one?"

The silver-haired shorty of the trio would state as if there wasn't a need to discuss much. Frankly she also thought there wasn't although she was second guessing due to the spiders. That was something that she was becoming hyper aware of over time. It was not exactly an easy thing to stomach as it were.

Noelle inhaled and exhaled deeply as she finished her transport into the mists. The foggy terrain that surrounding her feeling closer to her home of Seattle then she had imagined it would despite the slight nip in the air and her conflict over the fact that it was perpetually darkened in the sky above. The lack of clouds a good sign though that they wouldn't need to seek shelter as soon as they started to travel in an unknown morphed version of Russia.

What ever god of misery was out there that had left their sadistic love on the loam of the nation that had stood here. Truly a love letter to the grey scale, even the light and subtle dark blues and purples were muted by the general lack of shade where she arrived. Pulling out her umbrella the impromptu expedition leader would step up and face her small group.

"We are here for treasure, exploration, and safe grinding. Keep that in mind and stay close, I don't want to have to try and carry home a corpse... please. That was a good counter-point brought up. Dee Dee, Noelle needed to note not to refer to her as tomato girl seeing as she was still an intelligent human being, was touching on the experience she seemed to have had already with how the system seemed to go about distribution. Frankly it wasn't wrong to expect work for payment, and in this case they really only paid in entertaining combat and conversation to whoever was listening. She was certain there was a god here that was listening.

It was a funny thought, for an atheist to believe there was a god toying with them. There just wasn't enough information, perhaps she would ask eventually. For now, "I see. Well for the time being I am not really suited to scavenging alone, but I suppose everyone will find their way eventually. I know some crazy forest man who thinks much the same. Noelle was hearing what he was saying, but under no circumstance did she like what she was hearing at all. It was some survival horror story turned reality and she knew at least a few people were getting their rocks off on the idea. A new world order this. A new structure to living that. She could already hear it in the way this guy spoke. Perhaps he not so degenerately as some, but it was still very blatantly there. It was something that caused her to struggle with keeping a straight face during the conversation. She had to though, anything else would be disrespect that she couldn't handle inflicting.

"Whole lot of new order garbage then. At least the rule of survival is the same, that makes things easier. I say sarcastically, but the logic is followable," Noelle would say with a sigh. This made her want more time to think, adaptation was not instantaneous and she wanted to see what options laid bear before her.

"I wouldn't mind colleagues I suppose to that regard. Survival is not something that is meant to be solitary. For my own path though, I still need to make my way to a safe zone. Preferably on foot, if you know the direction I would appreciate the help." Noelle would reply, something slightly esoteric enough that she cound get past this man and back on the road without offense. Working in a collective, she could agree with, but she needed to know more. More than she trusted one stranger in a forest to be able to provide her.

That was a text wall... actually scratch that. Noelle couldn't even keep her eyes straight trying to read that absolute thesis paper of a response. Sympathy to the girl if she was just mute and couldn't talk, but holy hell was trying to read that as impossible as it was gruelling. It also didn't help that despite being basically a text message it was being held up by the writer in front of her, which means she was being expected to respond to all of it. This was definitely annoying.

"That's uh... that's helpful and a lot. Like seriously a lot," Noelle would state as she managed to flip through what portion of the menus she could without a phone... she really needed to get one of those. Hell if she was going to tell the tomato girl that though. It was embarassing enough that she was already not doing great to respond to her genuine response very well.

She was then taken further aback as she was not quite sure if she liked that she was now able to just be spam contacted by another person. Her face showed nothing as the impressive stonewall Washington resting face held just as strong with Noelle as it ever had her parents or brother, "I see. That is rather nice. Though I wonder if you can really waste resources with the system spawning things seemingly out of nothing."

Noelle had only recently caught information related to the state of the old "motherland" of Russia. The desolate land of mist, zombies, and robots that were. She had to admit that that all gave her some amount of anxiety to even speak about, but she was more then willing to try and put out an advertisement looking for a group to travel into it with. She was wanting to look for treasure which was... actually probably the dumbest thing she had thought of, but if any place going to have things she needed to grow stronger it was the place that was misery and ruin incarnate.

"Support-Class Defensive Mage looking for party to head into Forgotten Mists for an expedition and mission request. Goals include finding treasure if possible." The exact words on the poster that they had put out over the hub for others to see. It was a simple advertisement, but she was really just trying to attract a certain greedy bastard into joining her out bound as an excuse to try and figure out his intentions. And she knew at least one thing that attracted him openly - Wealth.

She hoped not, but they didn't know him that well... she had also almost put his life in danger more than once for the sake of keeping the group collectively out of harms way. It was a... cafe, potion-making bookstore. Yeah she would take a magic potion with two shots expresso! Obviously, this place wasn't something that she was particularly interested in, but she would eventually see it picking up business as well. Walking in and around the books seemed to be reshuffling themselves endlessly and she actually the fact that there was so many books for sale incredibly interesting to their own interests. Perhaps something useful related to weather was on the menu there... she was kind of broke though after having visited Nikolas'.

"Excuse me, I'm just here to look around so you can ignore me for the time being," Noelle would call as she continued to look around. The potions could likely spawn all sorts of things and she would not be surprised if it potentially spawned permanent effects. That was too unreasonable to expect on a regular basis though, so she would just ignore that for the time being and instead look over towards the counter.

The last component here was some form of self-functioning cafe and she had to admit that that sounded hilariously useful. She just didn't have the money to be spending it on random magic food effects when, again, she had no way to tell what would spawn. She would come back to this place maybe once she had more disposable income to her name. For now though Noelle Washington was broke, and once more walking out the door.

The second store that Noelle needed to visit was something of a surprise as she entered. Mostly because she hadn't actually equated the store to the person behind the counter even though she absolutely should have in hindsight. Vanilla had been someone that she had only recently been travelling alongside and she had to say that it was nice to see something of a familiar face here in the store, let alone working it.

"I didn't know this was your store Vanilla. Good to know for the future though, pardon the intrusion," Noelle would call out as she looked at the shop's menu. What Vanilla actually sold, and she was rather surprised by how short the list of items actually was, yet surprised at how useful it all sounded. It was likely to be popular once the world settled in even more... if it was even allowed to settle in more. She was so certain that it wouldn't given how things were.

Perhaps that was more of a reason to build a proper paradise. One that allowed people to live less dangerous lives... after all her theorization that the safe zones would eventually release their 'safety' to be the responsibility of the people was growing ever more prevelant to her mindset in terms of why she needed to do things.

There were a plentitude of things in here that Noelle could stare at and find to be of adequate quality for usage in what she wanted to do. Having entered only to immediately be met with large price tags and a rather large need to somehow find a way to use the services here in a simpler fashion. Having opened the door as she desummoned her umbrella she would step in and knock on the side of the door frame. Trying to see if there was anyone working in here.

Noelle would look around with a tired gaze that spoke of a lack of sleep. Their hair glinting a strong silver in the doorframe near sundown. Stepping in she would call out, "Excuse the intrusion," for whoever was working in here as she perused freely on the different items. Making note to a few things that she absolutely needed to buy here. She had been right to come here first.

Her eyes locking to a piece of cloth first and then down towards another item, though it seemed to be on some form of hold for a VIP. Somewhat upsetting considering the listed effect made it enough that Noelle would have paid double for what it did. Survivability was what she was after and it was perfect for that.[break][break]
Having learned about the forge and further looking around Noelle would decide on two purchases, a bit of a smile to their face as they pointed out the two items and spoke, "The Red Hot Harness and the Misery Cloth... A decision made, Noelle would grab ahold of the handle to the store and desummon her umbrella. Beginning to search the wares of the store for what she needed first and foremost, defensive gear. She was actually really hurting for something offensive, but if she could keep calm and patient then fights would always swing in her favor over time, which made what she needed defensive first. She could always find more items to help her with shoring up that impossibly non-existent offense later.

Survival was after all the most important part of victory for those that wanted to, or needed to risk themselves in battle. Noelle needed to risk herself, or she would be left to die when things inevitably got worse. Things never just got better when the world ended.
