She needed to keep the rest of the rats distracted? That was simple enough, those that had dodged the blast of notes would be berated again by the droplets before Noelle reached a hand out behind her for Jonas, "Very well, hold on then. Cause I doubt you'll be able to see soon," Noelle would state as the world around her went from simply rainy to hazed, spreading out from her. Golden chains wrapping around the closest of the rats as she grew a hazy bubble around the two as a dozen rats bashed their heads against the sudden wall in the mist.

"I'm actually awful with crowds compared to fighting with large targets, but should be fine if we can just keep tagging them down slowly," Noelle would state as her umbrella would spin the opposite way and close shooting out a spear-like barb of grey energy at the closest rat seeming to do nearly nothing to the creature.

Perhaps she could deal with the last one with her actual power, but for now she would rely on Jonas to be able to handle the damage for the little guys that were attacking them while she handled the damage control.[break]

She had been in her own world and expecting something interesting to happen on the screen or crowd, but she definitely wasn't expecting it to be some crazy sudden bombardment of socialization. Ironically she had come here alone because no one would bother her, especially not when the world around her seemed to always be rained upon - a new detail for Hana if nothing else. The jacket and umbrella also looked very different from before, almost dreerier if that was possible for someone in constant rain.

As soon as the girl, no woman appeared next to her Noelle's heart would race for a number of reason, but none that La Fey may have been used to. The amount of skin the woman showed, even without showing... it was shiver-inducingly scary. Who had that kind of- oh, Hana. Hana was another one that showed a lot of skin, but she had met her on a beach originally so she had assumed that was beach attire to some degree. The prudent fabricator looked again at the woman who had apparated suddenly with a blank look of stunned nothing. Regaining her actual composure she was unable to respond as Hana appeared. Better the devil you know appear when called then the one you don't though.

Looking between the two, Noelle thought about reaching for her menu to just fast travel away, but that was a little too rude even for them. As a fight seemed like it would break out Noelle would look up and as if on command her rain would widen its breadth and pick up, though noticable while it felt and looked like rain... it wasn't real. As soon as one stepped back they would once more be dry like the ground below her. Inhaling and exhaling she spoke, "Good evening to both of you... I guess. Were both of you looking for me for something? 'Cause if not the movie is supposed to be at the climax kiss or something soon."[break][break]

Noelle was the one leading this, that felt different. She wasn't opposed, but it felt like trying to tell a cloud to become a storm without it having enough weight rubbing against itself. It was an odd delima to her for sure, but whatever. Looking to Jonas and then out to the sewer in front of her she would inhale and exhale and the rain that seemed to perpetually fall around her become all the more real, the sound heavy as it echoed on water, concrete, and metal alike.

"If you can draw them here, I'll take care of the first waves here if I can. Otherwise, draw them in and start rolling out what damage you can. and I guess safe word pineapple if your in danger, Im pretty hard to take down, but I don't think you share my defenses," Noelle would reply before turning forward and opening her umbrella. Water beginning to swirl around her.

The scurrying body of a dozen rats wouldn't take much longer to show, and Noelle would give them a show as they got close, opening up with a wide blast of water that seemed to dig in ever so slightly to the rats, but barely. This would be a slog of a fight... a lesson to be learned.[break]

Noelle hadn't watched a movie in... well she was not actually sure. It had definitely been a while, but why was it some old sappy romance film being played out onto a large building wall. Was this meant to be a system treat for people playing along with this random event that it had decided was a necessity to the general populace? It was practically paying people to climb the eiffel tower, so what was its aim in showing a 40 year old romance film? Was it getting its rocks off to this or something? They just didn't get it.

Laying on a hill near the back she would sit with her umbrella propped and sigh rather heavily at the happenings. The old world college student for climatology was slowly losing interest in the film as they began to look around for any interesting motions in the crowd. Her small drizzle of rain keeping people clear of her. Perhaps something interesting would happen in the crowd? Or it would approach her.

Noelle had gone along with Jonas back to the place where one could pick up the payment for their job before they could move on with their lives to the new locations of the odd jobs that were able to be done in Paris. Overall this place really wasn't Noelle's taste in a city, but it was nice to visit the once famous city of attractions. Though she wasn't planning on staying, she wanted to earn what she could out of this dreadful event before moving along at least. Refusing to 'game the system' meant doing everything by hand though and she was determined to earn all the tokens that were needed to level herself up. She was close to a very interesting input of hers, and she was really digging in to try and reach it.

"We need to kill some rats, so make you have all your equipment and abilities at the ready Jonas. I am not a damage dealer as much as I am a tank, and I am hoping that I can keep you protected if you think you can deal with the threats inside. If not we are in for a very long slog against these rats," Noelle would state bluntly as they reached the entrance to the tunnel. She was really going to have to focus considering how undressed Jonas seemed for a support mage of some form. He probably wasn't any real damage dealer either, but the two would likely get by if they just stuck out whatever they needed to get done.

At least he was a hard-ish worker. Though he seemed in a rush for some obscure reason she didn't get at all. Had they ruined his mood by existing here in the same space? The spread of a short ranged aura of sorrow replaced the black and white noir film situation that the girl had been placed inside of. The rain seeming increasingly dreery as she listened to the tune, little did Jonas know that she knew this type of music quite well. It was the type of genre she enjoyed, alongside Lo-Fi and folk music.

"Wonderful song choice there. I'm an Echo Fabricator, I directly manipulate people's emotions via memories which causes stats shifts, among some other odd effects. For example," Noelle would state raising her umbrella as it opened in Jonas' direction and began to spin showing the pattern of a sunny sky above. Surfacing an incredibly joyful memory into Jonas' mind and causeing his body to surge with a sort of reckless surge of energy. Closing the umbrella and stabbing another piece of trash Noelle would place it in the bag, "Hope you had a good memory there. That's kind of what I do in a nutshell."

Noelle would state as they stabbed another few pieces of trash in a row and placed it in the bag. The end of the road approaching, "Pretty insidious class I got don't you agree? Either way lets get this done and start on the next job shall we?"[break]

No argument or real push to be super social, she won the god damn lottery with this one. She thanked whoever ran the random selection for partners and went back to her work. A pulse outwards around her saw everything within a few feet of her being refracted into a black and white noir film-style light. The rain still falling, but the color drained from the world just in her own personal bubble. Another perk of her umbrella that she rather liked all things considered.

Jonas at somepoint turned and Noelle was reminded they had someone with her that she did have to interact with them at least a little bit. Apparently he thought she was absolutely exhuasted, which got a awkward half-confused, half-smiling expression out of the mostly blank face of the girl, "I know I'm mono-colored right now, but do I really look that tired Jonas? Ah, sure fuck it. I take it your some form of support class then?" Noelle would ask bluntly, though there was a sliver of energy in her voice now. An attempt to be 'peppy' whatever the hell that meant for them.

Noelle would look to the young man who had put out the original request and shrug. If he was ready to move then the they would move. Raising her umbrella back above her head and willing it open she would stroll in silence behind the man with little to no sound coming from her steps. The rain drowning out any she would have made that was audible anyways. She had to wonder though, what would cause a man's entire anchor to be spiders, or something related to them. It was an interesting thing to take note of, but she wasn't about to ask him about his class in the midst of a downpour that would mean getting way closer then she wanted to be.

As they arrived at the orphanage, Noelle would inhale and exhale. She felt with the request being what it was that it was rather unfortunate for the orphanage attendant that this happened to when it did, "I am good without the tea ma'am," Noelle would state calmly before taking to leaning on a wall behind the 'leader' of their little expedition group. She would simply listen and keep herself focused on the task without bringing down the mood, after all a good few feet of the room would be temporarily engulfed in a devoid of color soon, Noelle knew her timing with the aura, it was not controlled in any shape or fashion.

Everything was just sunshine and rainbows with the weirdos in this apocalyptic world. It would seem that her new companion was no different, the smell and sound of rain drizzling would grow louder for the boy as he approached closer to the rain that felt real, but was not. Simply a trick of the system, something she appreciated it for at least. Her rain jacket and umbrella would let her survive in this god awful world a bit longer and if she was able she would soon find herself people who could use her skillset the most and utilize them to those people's advantage.

"Nice to meet you, name's Noelle," the girl would state in a rather flat tone, the controlled kind like someone who wanted to go to sleep, but obviously had obligations that prevented that eventuality. Stabbing the umbrella down through a plastic jug and putting it into her bag she would look the new arrival up and down before turning to the other side of the street.

"I haven't cleaned over there yet, if you want to get the far side of the street. I kinda just want to get paid and leave this place if I can... assuming you can help with that. These sorts of service requests are easy money usually," Noelle would state bluntly for the low-leveled fellow that was with her. If they worked quick then the part of the road that was done already would get her to the other side of the road pretty fast. Then they could tackle the entire other side together.[break]

Noelle hadn't bothered to stop and do anything particularly interesting today, she had caught wind of a missions and with Rory predisposed to... somewhere, that rat bastard didn't ever sit still, Noelle was left to go take on the mission alone. Or she would have, but the system denied that option. Further there had actually been two options opened to her in that time originally. However, Noelle was not the type of fool to look at something and spend weeks pondering, she had made her decision based on the direction of the clouds, brewing above into a storm. Taking the pill of the shark people, still confused by why there were shark monsters with intelligence?

Needing a partner though she went through her contacts, Dee Dee was whited out for some reason, Rory wasn't answering, so she messaged her only other contact - Dantalion. She didn't know the new age crusader very well, but he had said to call if she needed help and she was sure he had planned to join the war front here in the first place. He was that kind of guy to begin with, "I apologize if its bad timing, but I would hope you are willing to pledge with me to side with one end of the war effort here Mr. Dantalion. Out of the two the storm seems to side with the sharks who I also believe will be more straight forward in their approach and response then the Naga. No way to confirm without visiting but there is a barrier preventing my further continuation without a partner in this time. Thanks for the consideration."

Certainly not how Noelle expected to be spending her Saturday in this apocalypse event. A garbage bag in one hand and her umbrella in the other being used for a skewer as rain seemed to constantly fall around her, though never onto the ground. Leaving the world swept clean around her, yet the water vanished as suddenly as the drizzle seemed to appear. The feeling of it was soothing to the Seattle resident, and she never actually bothered to will it to stop. The noir world she was privy to invading reality every so often as well, but certainly not at the moment.

"Was Paris always this dirty though? A local would know, maybe one of those guild people? Whatever," Noelle would muttter as she worked. She was supposed to have a partner randomly assigned for the job, but so far she was working alone. It wasn't out of malice to the person or a dislike of company as much as it was the awkwardness of waiting. Waiting just was not fun at all. Neither was cleansing the streets of debris, but alas one of them actually paid her and the other didn't. Time was money and all that bullcrap.

Noelle didn't have much to say. At this point she was just completely exhausted and tired of all the constant conflict that seemed to lambast her and everyone else. Was their an end to the game that they would eventually be able to find or would it be like this as long as they were alive and kicking? Either was was a gloomy topic to go over, however, as she raised the umbrella above her head she held the pink parasol back up and over Rory to shield him from the slowly subsiding rain.
