Sitting on a nearby street corner she would open her umbrella up into her hand and sit under its shade. She needed to come to a final decision and soon, was it time for a spending spree of some form? It was easy to come to a positively undeniable yes on that question. Perhaps that was why she couldn't help herself much on the matter.

She was being indecisive again, and that was something that got people killed in this day and age. She had to break from that habit, and she needed to do it today. A promise made to be more decisive. Was it that simple? Hell no, they knew better but it was a start towards changing. Towards quelling at least one of the things that caused her to practically age from stress and panic.

Standing Noelle would begin to move again towards the storefront of the place she needed to go to first. It was likely a place she needed to enter and purchase out of sooner rather then later. Especially if she wanted a chance at some of the better goods that the person held. Moreso if they had other services like what she had sort of heard about in passing on the street.

Rory... He was a dirtbag as far as she could tell, but a reliable one. The kind of person you could call and expect to show up, even if he would expect a favor in return if not just greed out your wallet. Honestly that was a sort of attitude she could handle if he would be willing to travel more often with her, and that was likely an easier discussion she would just send him a message about it later through the friend's list function she had found.

If he was trying to enter or build some kind of guild it was likely a good thing for her to waltz herself into. It would make for an incredibly simple way for her to find a reliable set of allies, and if more of them were like Rory and herself then she was a perfect sort of buff machine and hazard control element that was needed for those sorts of groups. It was like the principle of abstract. Elements that otherwise did not seem to fit into place creating an art piece that was otherwise gorgeous.

Misfits that could... that was a funny way to describe that sort of group and she really could find something like that agreeable in nature. That was a thought line for later though, right now she needed to actually work up her nerve to enter into one of these shops.

So where would she be going first? Well no, there was actually one more store she needed to go check out. The Spell Counter was a store with a young lady that could enchant items, and while Noelle had nothing for her to actually work on. Introducing herself early could help her keep in touch. She needed to get some connection running with others, perhaps join a guild. In that sense she would probably need to contact Idir and Rory for what they were up to... on second thought she would just message Rory. Idir was a nice, if highly intimidating man but she didn't quite like the vibe he gave off.

It was like he obsessed with some end goal and she was not sure if that was a healthy outlook to be taking in this world. Fanaticism was how the world had plunged into war and chaos a great many times. For as hellish as the system was, Noelle did not want to have to live through a dark age and she doubly didn't want to go and die because of some bastard refusing to integrate into the odd new society they lived.

All she really was just looking for materials at the best. It would be the only way that she could make something for herself, and that was an absolute necessity in her book. Looking around she found an assortment of places to check out and she would write down her grocery list from the places that seemed to be popular. The first was Nikolas' Magical Mystery Store, it apparently had an insane number of high-end goods and Noelle wasn't in the least bit surprised that people did business there on the regular.

On the flipside of that was a newer store called 'Kitty's Novel Idea' which was a marked store by the system, which was a interesting thing since other stores had absolutely nothing similar to them. However Noelle didn't need novels, and she didn't really require food with buffs since she wasn't the type to have an absolute need. There was also apparently a little merchant girl that worked out of the store as well, but Noelle was not interested in any children. They were not something she wanted to have to worry about when she barely managed her anxiety over her own situation after all.

Taking that into mind was why she was here in Unison Central, finally getting to visit following her escapades to access Ender Island. She was not yet build to go on that sort of mission set yet if the boat had been any indication. The amount of work that Dantalion had put in had been stunning and it had made it obvious that she needed to upgraded the items she carried... or at least get SOMETHING to use as a weapon in this day and age.

What she had currently was her umbrella that frankly was useless outside of her core and even then it took up her hands to use it for that. Perhaps it would be better if she had combined it with something, but she had nothing to go with it right now. Her wallet was low on funds, and her hopes really did just lay within her potential to make something really good. Perhaps thats why she found herself perusing the market with a discerning, if piercing stare to it.

To that end Noelle had to look at what she had and kind of sigh. It wasn't exactly what she would call 'an amazing kit'. She could buff her allies while lowering stats they hopefully wouldn't need. Telling that was a matter of judgement call, and it was probably more useful for someone that was of a higher rank then it was the other way around. Which meant she had no use in the lower levels to a party because her core didn't really shift ability scores that heavily until you were looking at B or A rank level adventurers.

That was not something that Noelle dealt with often and frankly it likely never would be. Not at this rate. So what she needed most right now were those skills she had read about from Dee Dee's guide book. Perhaps though she would have better luck with other things instead? Items were a thing, they had many different kinds of effects. It honestly made her want to groan thinking about, but that was one of her best hopes as well.

The thing that immediately struck her as the issue that she had to deal with was not the lack of skills, the lack of capability to assist. As much as she found her class clunky it had its ways to make sure she could do the one thing that she genuinely needed to. Which was use that god awful Purple Rain ability, but perhaps she didn't need to.

Instead their were solutions that she could see herself entertaining particularly well now, especially the need for alternative ways to actually do anything here outside of acting as some detrimental half buffer and half debuffer that she was. She didn't really get how someone was supposed to do that though when she was already kind of a battle buddy to try and call on at the moment.

Noelle had little that she ever properly wanted in life. She had never quite been into fashion, she liked her raincoat at least, but she had never quite fit into the same box as those around her. That had ended up being a blessing in her eyes after so long of trying to make it otherwise.

Noelle had finally gotten ahold of a phone, and dear... well whatever passed as a god now, did she have a lot to learn about this place. Her first lesson being purely in the necessitation of using the board to actually gather jobs if people had things posted. So far she had either been drug into it, or accepted a system invitation thrown her way. This was her first time showing up for a job on her own volition without any forcible summoning.

In that regard walking into the bar that the assassin family scion was sitting within brought in the gloomy silver-haired seattle citizen. She really didn't know who she was looking for, and that was at least simplified by the only person in the bar besides the bartender being a younger man sitting and drinking... technically drinking age just didn't matter anymore, "Pardon, is the individual that put out a notice for help looking for missing children one of the two of you?"

Noelle would ask closing her umbrella from walking in and sending it back into her inventory. Dropping their hood to reveal a rather flat expression to their appearance. Perhaps the simple work of high WIL, that was usually easy to guess Noelle had found.[break]

The mist would finish expanding to its full size as Noelle watched around as the few that were left went blind from the mists. A bewildering feat as it meant that she and Dantalion has simply reduced THAT MUCH of the general WIL stat of the creatures left. Her somehow dreery golden chains binding the creatures of mind rather then body. A general calm came over her as she felt her WIL surge to a new height, taming the storm that raged within her bounding chest.

"There blind for the moment! Finish them now!" Noelle would call out as she took the parasol that Rory had all but gifted to her and spun it, running forward as fast as she could, admittedly not that quick, and slammed herself and the barrier of the umbrella into one of the fishmen to begin the process to wound it. She would not be able to finish it herself even while buffed up and she looked back to Vanilla or Rory for the final patch of assistance. Even with the buff currently on her she had only further staggered the creature leaving it wide open for a good solid strike.

Damn it, damn it, damn it. Not cool, not... no she felt insanely cool. Her panic was there but it was likely it had been forcibly suppressed beneath the waves of her own calm. The eye of the storm had been achieved and she would abuse that factor in every way that she could. Lowering her umbrella she would shift the image to one the beast of sorrow would never know, happiness and joy. Lowering it defense as it suddenly sped up tripping itself up as it was forced to readjust to its speed.

Noelle would rush forward then, spinning her umbrella the other way as purple rain splashed over the spirit of sorrow as Maria would strike forward. Cutting into the beast before it would see Noelle before it, but not truly Noelle. Purple rain having coated over the beast. A gut-wrenching screech blasting from the faux-Noelle into only the creature's mind. Causing to to rupture as it took damage it simply had no right to sustain. Exploding into a burst of water as it dropped its umbrella.

The real Noelle would look down at it before looking at the other two girls, the climatologist chuckling nervously as the spirit weirdly exploded on them all. The girl leaning over and picking up the umbrella to see if she could inspect it as the rain began to thin out and stop. Looking between the two, "I think that's i-"[break][break]
As abruptly as she had ended up here, Noelle was ripped away from the tutorial and into the hollow hills of Washington State, or what once was of it. Separated from the others, alone again.

Dantalion did something, and had it not been for her higher WIL it probably would have actually ended horridly. She would need to level more soon... but she needed stuff like this umbrella first. It was crazy good now that she could inspect it a little bit. This was definitely worth the investment of points to Rory. For now though, she had to keep him safe with herself. A fog bank would build around her as her ability grew in size. Filling the air with a vast mist, the monsters beginning to trip over themselves as they lacked sight. Pointing her umbrella at one of the larger boys she spun it and purple rain seemed to fly and splash over him before he simply went flying from unseen blow. His own defense being so low his powerful blow had broken right past him.

"If I've made your day then make mine and kill the bastards here please. I don't have much juice left in the tank with my big hitter ability spent up." She would almost hiss in a flat, cold tone to the young man next to her. He really was over-dramatic. She could deal with that though, it was funny at least. Albiet she thought he was still way too similar to her in builds.

Shuffling her vintage umbrella closed she kept the pink umbrella at the ready. If she needed to block a heavy hit for the two then she could easily with the Parasol. Defending her companion somewhat as recompense for having kicked him over to the spiders in the past.[break]

Tents were a pain in the back, literally. They had pushed past it though, reaching for the hammer from one of the guys here and taking it to pin in the tarp cover with a single hit, they were finally all ready to go! Looking back she would job back across the make-shift tent town and give the slightest hint to a smile at the amount of work that had been done in such a short time.

"Tents are secured! Come on lets get inside! We have about two minutes before that super cell breaks open and I am not ferrying people to tents!" Noelle would call out to the crowd, but particularly to the three other girls that she had come here with. If she was going to be safe then she was best off sticking in the group of four that she had found herself in for the moment.

Noelle was looking at the spiders and was slowly becoming more and more concerned by the fact that really only Dee Dee could actually harm them properly. Her anxiety spiking with her own sense of despair in the situation. A dying feeling of hope as she looked among the group to look over to the Bombdee. She would roll her umbrella again and a sunny display would show for the little guy as he wrecked house. His power being greatly increased at the cost of his defense. That was hopefullyt helpful...

Noelle would turn to check on Rory and Evey only for one to bolt behind the silver-haired Seattle local and her umbrella. Leading the spiders right there way. But she was level one! She was not taking a hit, instead pulling Evey along and kicking the now, very cocooned gambler towards the spiders... his defense was pretty high, so he would be fine.... probably. There was only two left for them to deal with now.

This was a little chaotic actually. DeeDee was easily crushing through some of the small horde that had suddenly summoned itself and Rory was some wierd gamble tank (she didn't get it). As they surveyed the group, Evey would release a flare, and Noelle, who had been already a bit back as far as the group was concerned, started to move back even further.

Before she realized it Rory was near her and asking her a question. Her adrenaline so deep in her ears she didn't actually register his words at first. panic well-hidden behind the stone mask that was their face. Noelle would raise a brow, "Sure, I got one for you. Center yourself and don't you dare run Rory," the young climatology student warned as she closed and opened her umbrella while looking directly at him with it. Spinning the shaft of the umbrella images of rock, sand, and wind picked up and Rory would be filled with images of his deepest fears.

Forced dread that came with a warning label as he would likely notice a shift in his speed, a shift further in his ability to not be hurt. As if a blanket had been placed on him through misery and dark emotions.[break]
