Things were already going rather crazy. The group having to fend for themselves among the wild groupings here. Looking over at the young man as he was struck. With Tali acting like a human fishmen-mower the girl focused over towards the other man in their group. A look between slight disappointment and cold calculation staring back at him with very little pity. Lowering her umbrella she would spin it and pictures of rock and wind would coat the front of her umbrella as she pointed it towards Rory. He seemed to be some weird gamble-tank, kind of like herself in an odd sense - a fact she found kind of distasteful - as she attempted to shift his stats in a way that would more highly benefit the young man.

"Deal with the moisture a bit longer then alright! Rory stay close, Vanilla try and stick over with us or near Tali over there, I know this jerk will be able to see fine, but I can't - Ack!" Noelle would start calling as she shuffled to close in on Rory, one of the larger two throwing a large, almost boulder of water at the two, Opening her umbrella she willed it to spin, activating one of the two new abilities she had finally unlocked. Forced Coriolis, it didn't actually fully block the attack, but what did get through hit her own DEF and was effectively neutralized. Good thing she wore a ful-body raincoat casually...

Lifting her umbrella up mist began to encircle Rory and Noelle, working to obscure them slightly. The ability not being the most impressive when looked at from an initial perspective, but it would help with dodging a little bit at least.

Noelle had nothing else to do by perverbially rolling up her sleeves and going up to do the work that was needed. Watching the sky closely for any patterns twoards badly shifting weather. She really needed to work on that actually, not the weather but her problem about removing her raincoat. She just hated showing skin though. It was something she didn't really judge others for, but it was gross to her for one reason or another, it was an odd thing to be consciencious about chronically in her mind.

Having gone off with Natalya she watched the european woman work her authority onto the crowd, having them organized quickly. Moving past the girl and her lines, Noelle joined the nearby laborers in handing out things like tent spikes, tent rolls, bedrolls, and the like. A seemingly endless job, but one that was less tiring then what the majority was working on here. She would just help them to suffer a little less as the hours crawled forward.

As night crept closer into the early evening clouds began to haze over the sky and bloat out everything above. Seeing the early signs of rain gave her time to warn the others at the very least. Turning she would call out to Natalya and Vanilla who she could most easily see, "Hey, we got rain coming in about three hours! We need to get everyone settled in and inside in roughly the next two before it starts to get too damp to work on the tents properly without risking getting sick from the cold rain."

Well, this wasn't a horrible current position to be inside of right now. No, really it wasn't. Dantalion proved immediately useful in blasting out three of the enemies and Noelle had to admit, it was good that she came when she did. Closing and re-opening her umbrella she would twirl it at the apocalyptic knight A pattern of sunshine and blue skies spinning into life as he blasted. A wave of memories would reach to him, his own memories of happiness. Dangerous games to play commonly with melee fighters became safer with those that were ranged.

A shift in the man's stats lowering his PWR by a full rank, yet lowering his DEF by the same. Tali would hopefully be able to completely decimate anything that came up from below. At the same time she would look on in surprise as she simply leveled. It was incredible that she could gain a little over enough for the last of level 6 and straight through level 7. Positioning herself onto the right of the knight Noelle would prep near immediately to use a new ability of hers if she could. She would need to make sure she could, "Looks like we dont have much more time for re-introduction. Good to see you again Vanilla."

Noelle would call over to the girl. Her reaction before having been too akin to the most subtle look disgust at Rory. A near non-reaction, though disappointment was clear.

Dude was certainly something. She held her face straight as she looked at him and pondered his words. He was not outwardly hostile so she had no proper reason for refusal. It would all work out fine in that sense she supposed. If she couldn’t find her family then she would have to find out more before going searching again. It was a good deal for her, and the man would likely leave her safer then most in this crazy location she had found herself inside of. Shifting a foot or two away she gave him a look over again. Seemingly deep in thought to give an impression of proper weighing even though her decision was pretty set.

“I can work with you, but I’d need to know more first. I’ve only been conscious all of like a week, and I still don’t fully know what is happening here,” Noelle would admit honestly her silvery hair getting a run through as she sighed. Obvious signs of well held stress from the entire ordeal until now. Would he willingly tell her more? She would prefer if he did. Educated decisions and deals came from necessity and information. To her this seemed beneficial regardless, but she had right to dig for more. She would dig while hinting to her acceptance.

Straight to the hard questions as soon as she got off the boat. Well that was fine, she preferred more direct confrontation with individuals such as this. Those that were upfront with what they wanted to know often gave the benefit of being incredibly easy to get around with. As long as you were able to meet them evenly you could usually do very well for yourself.

I also can heavily debuff WIL given enough time. I lack consistent damage or the like though, so I am not truly sure of how much direct help I will be. She didn't expect to get away 100% scot-free, but she needed to rely on these two at the very least for any damage output they could do.

It as weather like this that Noelle lived for. Her raincoat covering her body from the downpour of rain. Her umbrella was open and blocking the rain as the boat floated almost without effort onto the pier. An odd key had been given to her and she had taken it as a sign that she was going to be given an opportunity. She had taken it immediately even though it likely would kill her. A smile playing to her lips up until she made out other people.

She would acknowledge Rory first, she knew Rory, "I would have thought you'd of already been here Rory, given your love of capital. Walking up to the building that she had been meaning to enter into, she would look back and forth before walking up to the door and knocking. It was a half-ruined apartment building that a good chunk of survivors had moved to rebuilding to some degree given their safety. It had been where she had originally gotten the request and now here they were returning after two hours of walking from across LA to give the boxes to the orderer.

Noelle would take in the sights around themself and openly smile for once. She wasn't in danger, she wasn't in pain, she wasn't starving. It was nice, and almost normal if she wasn't in a post-apocalypse LA with what seemed to be a fetch quest as a job to do. A long draw of air inwards and outwards. Left and right. Across the street, Noelle had to think about her build. That was an odd thought all things considered in that sense; her "build". She had to make a more riveting position for herself. Her class had to do with illusions that manipulated stats... perhaps she could focus more on that. Swinging combat deeper in favor of her and her allies rather then the insanity that was 'Purple Rain'.

Unreliability was something she needed to avoid, or be able to make reliable... perhaps for that reason she just needed to live long enough for that. If she could survive blows long enough to use Purple Rain then SHE COULD rely on it. Which was good, it just left her vulnerable to other tanks. She would have to likely invest in her defenses heavier and heavier in time. She wasn't reliant on a stat to alter others, and she could assist in combat in many ways... perhaps that was the way.

Box-Making class... how awful could your life be that you were offered skilled box making as a class? It turned out not at all. Noelle had spent all day traveling across town to gather some boxes and some easier points for her progression. Introducing herself to a man who had once run the largest moving company in LA. It was impressive in that sense, he had literally materialized boxes from trash! It was kind of neat, neater too was the weightlessness of the boxes. They were unweildy in the configuration of box they were.

That hadn't stopped her though. Being handed two string straps to fit over herself she had taken no time to start her walk back. Reflecting on what she she should do in the mean time of her walk and then after. She was the cautious type usually so risks sounded awful, more so when she looked at what she could do... a lot or almost nothing... that hurt a lot.

She hated to say it, but she needed to pick up her skills soon... she had wanted to wait, but Purple Rain wasn't reliable unless she was fighting some weak-minded boss monster, and she really didn't want to invest all of her stat points into MAGI just to keep an unreliable power competitive. Perhaps after its upgrade and she could rely on it more? She would have to watch for that exact scenario.

Oh yuck. She was not expecting spiders - her face stayed as still as stone though an eye twitched in the process. Opening her umbrella she would spin it and a phantasmal spider would lash out to destroy one of the five. A ghostly image of itself digging its maw into its own head to destroy it. Not a killing blow sadly, but for Noelle that was the best she could do in one go. Her class cursed the concept of direct combat, but she at least had a group to assist her this time around.

"Focus the injured ones first! I should be able to get them to weaken soon!" Noelle would state closing her umbrella to use as a club if she was forced to. She had been slow to react, but she would recover quick. Trying to stick behind the coin-flipper Rory. It was a safer position.

Observing the spiders for what they may do to try and keep herself protected. The one that she had struck into, it was turning an odd color around its wound. That was an easy observation to make at least, "Be careful of their bites as well, they are definitely venomous."

[attr="class","skullbody"]Noelle was still confused by the girl's choice of foodstuff. Too a point that her kneejerk reaction was just to not interact with the girl at all. She, however, had made the grand mistake of initiating contact without prompt and now here she was. She did need information though, so she would glady handle her own initial discomfort on the idea.

"Noelle, well met. Im afraid I only really understood like two of those other words though, this system stuff makes absolutely no sense to me," Noelle would respond taking the tomato as it was placed on the ground initially confused. Nodding as she was given a prompt to take it from the girl proper. Looking over at the other two creatures with them, they werent entirely repulsive... it was just weird to see a dragon and a little fleshy blob with limbs and people were accepting that like it was nothing.

[attr="class","skullbody"]Noelle had returned from her mission with a frown on her face. It had been fruitful, but it had not been a good time in any capacity. It had been a bunch of big spiders and a lot of really crazy hellions that were sent to take care of them... she had been forced to use those weird abilities again. She hated the manipulative aspect of her class honestly, even if it was a description and not actually true. She took to writing in her journal again, this time denoting the effects of weather in New York as she could see it out the building.

It was interesting from her time on the coast especially how the different areas of what was left of North America was still so utterly different then before. She had even been told about some islands out off the eastern asian coast near where her home's greatest enemy used to reside before the system rewrote everything. The safe zone on that side of the world being Tokyo it was likely her next stop having recently learned about the world teleporters. She would be able to do world travel with little more than a few walks through a magical gate way! Absurd, but it worked.
