Dee Dee walked into what was clearly meant to be a park area in the safe are of the city and she took in a deep breath glad to have some safe nature to enjoy, she let Kramer out and started to wander the place just going on a nice little walk, while she liked helping people, she was well aware she needed to take time to rest as well or else she would burn herself out, and then she wouldn't be able to help anyone with anything till she recovered. A fact she learned when she was younger when she that exact issue happened and she needed to rest for a week since she collapsed while trying to help people constantly.
She was a bit older and wiser now though, so she was gonna take good care of her health, Rest and Recuperation where what she was planning for the time being and a nice little walk in nature would help with that.. likely followed by the lunch she had packed, she also made sure to pack plenty of Tomatoes for snacks. You could never have to many tomatoes after all, she even got a special contain for them so she didn't accidently smoosh them ensuring their perfect Tomato shape and taste.
Kramer meanwhile was enjoying flying around though he kept Dee Dee in sight he was happy to fly around freely, while not being summoned was nice, he did like hanging out with his summoner, she was very kind and fed him these wonderful little red things that squished nicely and tasted great, and she seemed to have no end to them

Noelle had been trying to hide from the sun at all possible, but that had not stopped the heat from reaching her in a way that was... hellish. Having thought that she had actually opened her jacket to show her surf shirt, worn because it was super heat retensive and she was used to cold, rainy Seattle still, and a pair of thick jeans. Sitting under both a tree and her umbrella for extra shade the girl had continued her journaling from before.

Its been three days since I arrived at what they are saying is, or rather was, Los Angeles. Its kind of a scary thought that I made it this far and met as many strangers from across the globe already. Most people haven't been directly hostile, but I don't think that everything will stay that way for forever. That would be naive. I don't know where you are mom, dad, jakob, Wrenn... Dee Dee walked along wondering what else to do for the day other then letting Kramer play, then she remembered she had gotten a new friend and she was about to summon them as well when she heard a voice call out to her and she looked over to where it came from and she saw the woman sitting by the tree in the shade and she gave a little wave to the woman as she walked over, handing another Tomato to Kramer as she put the Bag of Tomatoes down and took out a note pad to write on, looking to the girl a moment then to her notepad before she started to write on it, the woman seemed to be kinda busy but she had called her over so maybe she wanted to talk? Looking to what she wrote she nodded and then turned the notebook around for her to read "Hello there, I am Dee Dee and this is Kramer my Baby Dragon! I also have a Waddle-dee named Bombdee nice to meet you!" the words said as she pointed to the side and a star popped out of her pointer finger and grew till it poofed into sparkles and there stood the Waddle-dee just introduced who gave a little salute to Dee Dee and waved to the new girl. Dee Dee took a seat near the new Woman as she takes out another couple of Tomatoes and handed one to Bombdee and then gently placed one near the girl that had called her over and she gave a little thumbs up as she took out another one for herself and gently nibbled on it as she wrote out "Would you like a tomato?" she turned the note book around for the Woman to read as she sat there as Bombdee and Kramer started to play with each other out on the grassy field. [attr="class","skullbody"]Noelle was still confused by the girl's choice of foodstuff. Too a point that her kneejerk reaction was just to not interact with the girl at all. She, however, had made the grand mistake of initiating contact without prompt and now here she was. She did need information though, so she would glady handle her own initial discomfort on the idea.

"Noelle, well met. Im afraid I only really understood like two of those other words though, this system stuff makes absolutely no sense to me," Noelle would respond taking the tomato as it was placed on the ground initially confused. Nodding as she was given a prompt to take it from the girl proper. Looking over at the other two creatures with them, they werent entirely repulsive... it was just weird to see a dragon and a little fleshy blob with limbs and people were accepting that like it was nothing.

"Thanks Dee Dee... how did you adjust to having... friends so quickly?" The girl couldn't but ask the question glaring on her own mind, she needed an answer from someone. Especially before she went back to search for that weirdo guy in the hills. She could probably follow the sky pretty easily back to where she should of been when she met him, but she needed more information it felt like first. Dee Dee happily nibbled on the Tomato as she sat with the girl waiting for her to reply, she wasn't in a hurry or anything so she didn't mind waiting at all, The girl called her over after all it would be rude to try to push someone to speak if they where thinking. Eventually the girl did say something, Introducing herself and mentioned that she didn't really understand the system, hearing this Dee Dee was glad she had already been learning about the system and she took out her first booklet titled "Waddle-Dee-Dee's beginners Guide to the system" and she showed it proudly to Noelle gently handing it to her, she was already working on a copy and she owned the original anyway. Then then picked up the notebook again and started writing as Noelle thanked her for the Tomato and asked her about her summons, She could somewhat understand, but when she first came to this place she had to rely on what skills she hard rather quickly since her task was to kill a spider queen or be trapped forever so she kind of just... did things. and learned as she went on regardless she continued writing so she could explain a bit to Noelle and answer her question, thankfully it was something she later thought of when she was working on roofs in the city. Finally she finished writing and she turned the notebook around for Noelle to read. "This book is my Beginners guide to the System, From points and how to spend them, as well as how to acquire them, but also other functions of the system, I compiled the knowledge I learned and was taught by another person and made this book, I will be making more to spread to the people that are lost and don't know how to deal with things, everything I learned so far is in there, and if I learn more I will be making more editions of it as I go along! As for my Friends, I woke up in a dark place and was giving a task to kill a spider queen.. I didn't have much time to come to grips with things, so I just tried out my abilities and thought about how it might work in games I played, then I had to think of how the characters in that game did it and tried it that way and they worked.. As for Kramer and BombDee? I see them as extensions of myself but also separate creatures... At the time I only had Kramer though and he seemed to be aware and alive, and so I decided that yes he was alive, after I escaped that place I had woken up at and found my way I took the time to think of it while I was working on roofs here to make the places livable for people.. and I Decided then that I wouldn't treat them like just tools, I would treat them as part of me, as an extensions of myself but also give them the respect of being their own creature, so I see them more like close friends or family"She nodded then rather then pic the notebook back up she started to write a message to Noelle using the system and sent her the message "This is one of the functions of the System, I would use this to write the books I will be handing out but I found out that unless you register someone as your friend you can't send them a message unless you are within a certain distance and know their name, but this helps me save on paper so I don't run out that quickly!". As she talked Kramer and BombDee where playing tag in the open park, the two near the same speed but to keep it Fair Kramer wasn't flying so it was a fun game for the both of them as they happily played and had fun. That was a text wall... actually scratch that. Noelle couldn't even keep her eyes straight trying to read that absolute thesis paper of a response. Sympathy to the girl if she was just mute and couldn't talk, but holy hell was trying to read that as impossible as it was gruelling. It also didn't help that despite being basically a text message it was being held up by the writer in front of her, which means she was being expected to respond to all of it. This was definitely annoying.

"That's uh... that's helpful and a lot. Like seriously a lot," Noelle would state as she managed to flip through what portion of the menus she could without a phone... she really needed to get one of those. Hell if she was going to tell the tomato girl that though. It was embarassing enough that she was already not doing great to respond to her genuine response very well.

She was then taken further aback as she was not quite sure if she liked that she was now able to just be spam contacted by another person. Her face showed nothing as the impressive stonewall Washington resting face held just as strong with Noelle as it ever had her parents or brother, "I see. That is rather nice. Though I wonder if you can really waste resources with the system spawning things seemingly out of nothing."

Seeing Noelle seemed to be looking through the System but not going through all of it which was a bit odd "You know you can access everything on the system right, just have to navigate it like it was a screen it's just that it hovers is all!" she messaged to her as she demonstrated on her own and showing it to Noelle, giving her a thumbs up as she finished her demonstration. and it seemed Noelle wondered about wasting resources and Dee Dee thought about that a moment it was a good question, but then again points were resources too and it was rather hard to get them if you didn't know how.
"Well you have a good points, but at the same time using points to keep getting more notebooks and writing supplies would cost a lot of points, and points are somewhat hard to get as you need to work for them in some manner, so it's better to spend them on things you absolutely need like food and shelter, maybe some equipment and the like, meanwhile the messenger system is free to use. At least that's how I thought of things anyway" she sent the message to Noelle and then took a seat and placed another Tomato by the girl as she herself and her summons each enjoyed another round red treat.
She then produced a ball that she had managed to scrounge up and tossed it to Kramer and BomdDee, the Two started to chase it around and kick it to each other, then started to play keep away with it as they enjoyed the open place to play a bit enjoying the downtime Dee Dee always tried to make sure she had with them. "Though some people will still barter for things if you wanna just spend time Scavenging, it's how I got all these wonderful tomatoes!" she sent another message as she nibbled another tomato.

That was a good counter-point brought up. Dee Dee, Noelle needed to note not to refer to her as tomato girl seeing as she was still an intelligent human being, was touching on the experience she seemed to have had already with how the system seemed to go about distribution. Frankly it wasn't wrong to expect work for payment, and in this case they really only paid in entertaining combat and conversation to whoever was listening. She was certain there was a god here that was listening.

It was a funny thought, for an atheist to believe there was a god toying with them. There just wasn't enough information, perhaps she would ask eventually. For now, "I see. Well for the time being I am not really suited to scavenging alone, but I suppose everyone will find their way eventually. I know some crazy forest man who thinks much the same. I should buy him a shirt eventually, maybe."

Shaking herself back to her current companion she would swallow another bite of the tomato, "I suppose your a decent enough hunter then with your entourage? Do summons come with their own abilities? I figure they have to if they are individual system critters."

Dee Dee continued to nibble away at the tomato she had, and she placed another one by Noelle as the girl was thinking, it seemed whatever she was thinking about was a lot since she wasn't going through the tomato very quickly, while Dee Dee herself was already on her fourth, so a few had been lined up next to Noelle by this point and Dee Dee made sure to place one there whenever she had another for herself, it was just the polite thing to do after all. On the mention of a shirt Dee Dee looked into her inventory "I think I have a few that I found while I was out scavenging... if you want it let me know I have a lot from stumbling across a clothing store with a lot of stuff in the back still in boxes so it's all in fairly good condition" the message she sent to Noelle said as she pulled out a few styles and sizes. even producing a few very colorful ponchos. the question then moved on to her summons and Dee Dee looked over at Kramer and BombDee playing with the ball and she nodded "Yes they have their own abilities and everything, they are a great help to have around since I don't get lonely, and they help to keep an eye out when I travel and scavenge, many hands make light work and all that, of course it has trade offs like increased need for food and water obviously, but I don't mind that at all, besides they help me run my food cart that I only just finished making! and I expect to expand it so I can cook more things rather then just boiling and BBQing things right now!" she gave a little thumbs up and handed Noelle a little hand made coupon with a Tomato drawn on it and the words "Maximum Tomato Food Cart Free meal Voucher!" on it "If you come across me use that for an extra free meal. I already plan to make the first visit free so you can keep that so you can have another free meal later.. save it maybe till I get more cooking options that would be my advice" she gave Noelle another thumbs up as she placed yet another Tomato next to the girl and nibbled on another herself. on her other side was also a line of Tomatoes apparently meant for BombDee and Kramer once they were done playing Noelle |
