Gwahaha!”[break][break] Crouching through the tavern’s doors came a massive man with pale skin and dark gray armor. He gave the bug a slap on its side and pointed to the door of the building across the street. ”Maybe, just mayyybe, we’ll have better luck with this next one!” At his command, the bug rolled into a ball again and burst into the next building.[break][break]

His shirt was completely shredded and new wounds covered his chest, but he walked with his hands raised behind his head and yawned. {Mirror Knight: Recommended Levels 20-40}[break][break]  [break][break] Several bodies lay in the street, though they had been pulled to the side and laid out in a line before being covered with a large white sheet. A figure stood nearby, the light sparkling off of their pristine silver armour, the royal blue highlights and cloth near-dazzling in their colour and cleanliness. The figure was fairly tall though with the fully enclosed helm and armour it was impossible to tell their gender and the heavy pauldrons made them look broader than they might otherwise have seemed.[break][break] One hand clutched a large broadsword with a silvered blade and a glowing red gem set into the pommel, the other hand rested on the lip of a massive round shield as reflective as any mirror which blazed brilliantly in the light. Their stance told of some form of sadness or perhaps a deep-seated tiredness, their head bowed towards the bodies that lay before them. After a moment or two they let out a sigh and shook their helmeted head. [break][break] "You didn't have to fight, you could have surrendered. Now it seems I might have to sully my blade once more." The voice was soft and sing-song, though also androgynous in nature.[break][break]

A wall of red light surrounded the entire building, and right on the outside of it sat a woman on stairs. She sat with her arms crossed and a slight frown. Someone ran at her with a sword raised, but vanished after all she had done was flick her eyes in his direction. Her eyes continued to scan, but otherwise she sat unmoving.[break][break]
