One year for their birthday, Juno got a gift that they have cherished ever since. They don't remember who gave it to them, probably one of their siblings as their parents usually didn't put any thought into the gifts, but they got a simple pair of roller skates. However, when they put the skates on and started riding, they experienced a feeling that they've been chasing ever since and can only replicate when skating: they felt like they could fly.

It was the greatest gift they've ever gotten, and they poured almost all their free time into becoming a master on their skates. They learned tricks, and stunts, getting to the point where they would rarely spend time on the ground if they could help it. They even became a little famous at the skatepark where they practiced, people gathering about just to watch them skate. No, not skate, become one with the sky.

This class functions best when in the sky and when on the ground tends to find things far duller and almost washed out. When on the ground, the Skyburner moves at their [SPD]-1 Rank and when in the air they move at their normal [SPD] but they gain a 20% buff to it as long as they are airborne. Once per post they can also make a class attack in melee using their [Scorch Gear], if on the ground this deals their [PWR]-1 Rank in bludgeoning damage and if in the air it deals their [PWR] Rank in fire damage instead.[break][break]
This class functions off of the use of [Thermal Charges] which are gained in one of two ways. When an attack is dodged fully, the Skyburner gains one Charge and when the Skyburner lands an attack they also gain one Charge, each of these can only be triggered once per round. The Skyburner starts each thread with 3 Charges already and can hold a maximum of 9 at one time. When the Skyburner has 6 or more charges, they gain the [Re-Entry] Status which increases the damage of their core attacks and abilities by 1 rank.[break][break]
The [Thermal Charges] the Skyburner has can be used for three specific abilities:[break][break]
Phoenix Trail - By spending one [Thermal Charge] each round, the Skyburner is able to treat the air itself as solid ground for the purposes of skating, generating trails of dancing flame as they skate across the thin air. While this is active they are fully capable of flight as long as they spend the Charges and they keep moving, if they ever stop moving or are rendered immobilised they will fall out of the sky immediately.[break][break]
Searing Thorn - By spending a number of [Thermal Charges] the Skyburner is capable of firing out a series of compressed spikes of flame that though weak are quite numerous. These each have a range of the Skyburner's [PWR]/3 meters and deal damage equal to the Skyburner's [PWR]-1 Rank. Each [Thermal Charge] spent allows the Skyburner to fire out one of these Thorns, up to a maximum of half their current charges. Once used this goes on a three round cooldown.[break][break]
Ignition Force - By spending a [Thermal Charge] the Skyburner can enhance their own motive force, generating a vast amount of thrust to take them to new heights. Each Charge spent gives the Skyburner a 10% [SPD] boost on their next turn at the cost of losing the ability to gain a [Thermal Charge] from dodging an attack, up to a maximum of a 50% boost.[break][break]

Speed is king and when you move fast enough everything else just falls at the wayside. Running away from problems is an entirely viable strategy... Until they catch up to you. The Skyburner is incapable of increasing their [VIT] through the use of stat points, only items and buffs can alter it. However due to this their ability to dodge is massively improved, enabling them to dodge attacks fully that they have the same [SPD] as. They may also push this effect at the cost of lowering their [PWR] and [SPD] by one rank for their next turn in order to dodge an attack with a [SPD] higher than their own, though this can only be done three times per thread.[break][break]This upgrades at Rank S [SPD] and [PWR].

Backdraft:
This ability can only be activated upon successfully dodging an attack fully. Once done the Skyburner can unleash a spinning kick, the friction causing a massive wheel of flame to form around them. This deals damage at melee range equal to the Skyburner's [PWR] Rank. [Thermal Charges] can also be spent when this ability is used, if at least 2 are spent the damage is increased by 1 Rank, if 3 are spent then the target bursts into flame causing them to take the Skyburner's [PWR]-1 Rank in damage on their next turn. Additional Charges can be spent at any time the target is burning to increase the duration of the burn by 1 round per charge spent. Scorch Gear
[Gift] Though vaguely resembling a set of roller skates, these have been heavily modified and altered with flame-like motifs covering them. They pulse with a deep heat that seems to want to be released and wearing them makes you want to fly.
