Hana emerged into the clearing just a few moments later, already armored up and ready for battle. "You really are comfortable here, huh?" She pointed a finger towards Enigma and his phone. "Checking the adventurer forums for new recruits?"

She did a circle around the portal, once again intrigued by how it always seemed to point towards her. They'd familiarized themselves with the area around and inside this particular portal during their last visit, but all of this astral stuff was still fairly new to her. "I guess you're planning to explore here a lot more, after getting your Guild set up to focus on stuff like this, right?"

Standing ready nearby, she pressed for a little more information. "So, this mission just wants us to find a spirit, then solve some more puzzles to, uh, exorcise them or something? Put them to rest?" Hana just hoped the puzzles weren't any harder than last time, or as annoying as the challenges during that race.

The look Vanilla gave her caught her off guard, but this was one thing she didn't blush or apologize for. Even if she wasn't especially tall or physically gifted, she was definitely confident about her figure! She'd had plenty of conversations with her manager about her charm points.

Hana turned towards the wall in the hallway that made up one side of the living room, producing a fancy key from her inventory. She pointed it towards the wall and turned the key...as a lock formed around it, followed by a door. With Hana's name on it.

"Uh, this is, like...my dressing room? Earth-chan gave it to me as a reward for working on the Guild...so I keep assuming it'll do something weird, but it's been fine so far." She pushed open the door, revealing an entire extra room behind it. There were comfortable seats, mirrors and dressing tables, even what seemed to be a changing room off to one side.

"It comes with whatever clothes I can think of, and they act like armor, but only for a little while. Oh, and more snacks! Uh, and also NPCs if we ask for help, but that kinda feels weird..." Hana hadn't had a reason to dress up for a while! Not since the concert, really. And she'd repurposed her stage outfit as something like her signature look, so it wasn't really very impressive anymore. Thankfully she actually owned a shower and closet and everything now, so she'd been able to properly prepare once she'd received her invitation.

A nice, simple black dress she'd been able to scrounge up from the area around Tokyo, near her own Guild base. Nothing too revealing either, especially with a matching jacket on top. Somewhat ruining the look was the fact that she was clearly wearing some sort of exercise outfit underneath it, but...this wasn't a Safe Zone. If Earth-chan decided to ruin things, she wanted to be ready to fight, just in case.

Looking around the surprisingly busy room, she only recognized one face so far, waving at Noelle with a smile. However, after last time, she had a feeling the other girl would prefer Hana keep her distance. So she continued to mingle, spotting Sebastian and waving to him as well! Although he was busy, talking to...a model or something?

This caught her attention for a moment, blinking behind her glasses, before she continued on. Maybe that was one of Enigma's new recruits? "I cannot believe this. This is so unfair." Hana was sulking, after receiving the second place award she was sharing with Dee Dee and her companions. She wasn't mad about sharing, though. They'd entered as a team after all.

No, up on the first place stand, collecting all the adulation was...one of her clones. She'd been using them to cover the racetrack all around her, including in front of her. When the dust had cleared, only one was left. And it'd beaten her across the finish line.

After collecting the price, the Crystal Heart, her clone walked off stage, waving to the crowd one final time...before vanishing as Hana's ability went back on cooldown. The race organizers looked exasperated for several long moments, before simply scooping up the prize from where it had fallen and hurrying away backstage.

At the pats and squeezes to her shoulder, Hana glanced over again and smiled. She'd wiped most of the tears away, and the flow seemed to have stopped, now that they'd passed the lake and began heading into the final lap. With a thumbs up in return after Dee Dee's assistance, she focused on the road again. At least all of her duplicates seemed to have minds of their own, weaving around through traffic to distract the other drivers, causing them to brake or turn away, letting Hana surge forward.

"Puzzles!? Aww, seriously!?" Hana sounded quite upset by the prospect. As the flying statues began to appear, she attempted to swerve and avoid them, but they were insistently hounding her car. "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" One was floating nearby, demanding an answer, while the musician fumed.

"Shut up! I'm not doing this! This is supposed to be a race!" She had to turn sharply again to avoid the attack that followed, car bouncing from the impact to the road inches away. "Alright, that's it. Time for a shortcut!" Reaching one arm out of her window, she slapped at the roof of her car as something appeared on top. It appeared to be...a large speaker.

As her headset popped into place, she took a deep breath. Shrieking into the mic in frustration. A squeal of feedback ripped from the speaker, followed by the amplified cry. A wave of sound sending the next guardian flying...and possibly several other vehicles as well. Hana's car zipped forward in a little bubble of sound, more statues bouncing off of the field as she accelerated.

This time as she left the quaint fantasy village, the forest opened to reveal a lake. This seemed a little more fitting. Until the system updated them on the next challenge. "Oh no...can't we just have a normal drive?" Aliyah would probably ace this challenge, Hana should've invited her, too!

As the effects kicked in, Hana gripped the steering wheel tighter. Gritting her teeth. The music she'd been producing fading away, as tears began to leak down her cheeks. Her vehicle slowed down as she did her best to drive with her vision blurred. She was never letting Enigma pick the mission again...

Once they passed the lake, Hana realized Andy had caught up a bit, due to her decreased speed. However, many more drivers had apparently dropped out, pulling over or crashing while distracted by the illusions. Pushing up her glasses, she wiped at her eyes the best she could, sniffling. Looking over at Dee Dee to make sure she was okay.

"...r-right, the race." With the thinning crowd, it was easier to spot Enigma. She noticed he was beginning to slow down as well. The mechanics of Motor City seemed to be kicking in, so this would be her chance. "H-hold on everybody!" Glowing lines appeared across the outside of her car, before more than a dozen copies of it suddenly filled the road around them! Her now A rank SPD plus the vehicle boost meant they were zooming along into the third and final lap!

"Dee Dee, see if you can speed us up or slow anybody else down if we pass them! Uh, not Enigma or Andy though!" Hana wanted to do her best to beat those two, but they didn't have any assistance like she did, so that wouldn't exactly be fair. Everybody else was already clearly using abilities to plow through walls and avoid obstacles, so they were valid targets. They might even have a chance to win this, if they got lucky!

The strange creature vanished, and Dee Dee's friend returned to normal a moment later. Hana seemed unsure for a moment, before her own armor disappeared with a brief fanfare. She held onto her hammer, though, just in case anything else weird happened. "Oh, uh, nice to meet you, Mr. Idir." Hana bowed properly as well, over the weapon she was holding.

"I hope we don't run into more weird food monsters." She frowned at the thought. "But, yeah, sure! You two are always welcome to come on any missions with me." Hana nodded along, before smiling as Dee Dee shared her news. "Oh, cool! Now me and you and Engima can all work together and stuff!"

She agreed that the scene didn't quite fit the weird thing they'd just smashed into crumbs. "Yeah, uh, keep your eyes open I guess. I don't know if this is another person, or an unrelated monster we keep meeting. If you run into the same kinda scene, message me and I'll hurry over!"

Thankfully her armor protected her from the heat...or at least it would for a while. Not forever. Readying her hammer to attack, she looked around at the voice, before turning back to see the new face arrive in the alley behind her. "H-hey, why do you think it's bullying me!? You're not the only one with fancy armor!" Hana did have to admit, his suit was pretty cool though.

He just rushed right past her, though. Less cool! "Oh, hi Dee Dee!" She waved a free hand in return after spotting her, watching all of her companions appear. Turning back to the fight, she was left trying to determine how to get an attack in between the new arrival's flurry of blows. Right when she thought she had a clear shot...Dee Dee and her friends launched their own attacks!

This was getting frustrating. She was glad everyone was able to dodge that flying meatball, though. And it finally gave her an opportunity to attack! "Incoming!" Hana gave Idir a bit of warning, before the huge bone head of her hammer slammed into the bread beast, squashing it to the floor of the alley. The shimmering aura of heat flickered and weakened, but didn't quite fade.

"Now stay-" THUD! "-down!" THUNK! "Whew, that should do it."

After two final punches to the enemy pinned under her hammer, the strange serpentine sandwich finally stopped squirming and struggling, collapsing in a pile of coils near the two armored combatants. "Everybody okay?"

Swinging her hammer like a bat, the rat Hana had hefted into the air was now sent flying, rocketing into the sky until it disappeared with a faint twinkle. She turned her attention back to the alley as Andy zipped off towards his own prey. The blonde was rather surprised to see him moving like that. Was it the shoes?

"Just one left!" Andy had stopped the escape of one rat, but another had taken its chance to flee while they were distracted. "Ah, not so fast!" Hana pulled the hammer behind her, before waving for Andy to move to the side. "Look out!"

After a moment, the reason why became clear. As she began to lift the hammer up, the handle extended...further and further, the head of the weapon rising far above the nearby building as it too grew larger. By the time the growth had finished, she was able to bring the business end of the weapon down on the rat that had exited down the far end of the alley, smashing it into the open street. "Got it! Uh, sorry!" The hammer popped out of existence as she stored it back in her inventory to get it out of Andy's way.

As soon as the mess of vehicles began moving, it was clear Hana wasn't going to be the fastest one here. Enigma's smaller, lighter choice of rides zipped out ahead into an early lead over her, weaving into a crowd of similar vehicles and almost disappearing from view. The turns and walls that began to manifest out of nowhere didn't help give her a clear look either.

"Wait, who's talking?" Hana glanced side to side, looking at Dee Dee. Definitely not her. "Alright, none of that!" She reached to turn up the volume on her radio...which wasn't turned on. Music did suddenly begin blasting out of her car, though, as she attempted to block some of the distracting voices. At least only having to read what her passenger said helped a bit to cut through the noise.

Speaking of cutting through, several other drivers were simply plowing through walls and other roadblocks. Remembering her stats affected the vehicle here, she lifted her hands for a moment as gloves popped into place. Probably no room to equip her hammer, though...this would have to do. She wasn't planning on crashing through anything, but it was always good to be prepared!

Hana would simply stick to driving carefully, for now. Singing along with the song that was playing as she ignored the strange whispers. Driving a bit slower meant she could make the tight turns fairly safely, although her passengers were getting swung back and forth. "Sorry, sorry, sorry!" Checking her rearview mirror, she could see Andy's chosen van steadily plodding along, safe so far as well.

The forest had turned into a labyrinth, thinning out the crowd of racers by quite a bit. After a few minutes of this, she could already see the starting line reappearing in the distance as the local area began to shift back to...well, not reality, but close enough. Just a few more sharp turns to go, and they'd be on to something else.

Hana smiled as Dee Dee began to circle around the shiny new car she'd received from the event that had reopened Paris, checking it over for all sorts of things she'd probably missed. It was more reliable than the beaten up old pickup truck she still had tucked away in a garage in Los Angeles, even after the repair work Dee Dee had helped her with. She'd given it a few test runs to get used to how different it was to drive, but was looking forward to really seeing what it could do in this race.

"Make sure you wear your seatbelts!" Hana looked at both Dee Dee and BombDee when she said that. The ant was probably fine. She hoped. "Apparently vehicles work off your personal stats and buffs in this zone, so we might go kinda fast. And, uh...do some other interesting things." Similarly her vehicle had arrived colored like her armor, which was a nice touch.

Rolling up into her assigned starting position, she looked over and spotted Andy attempting to get their attention. Hana grinned and waved back. "Good luck! Be careful!" Hopefully everyone would be able to make it to the end safely, at the very least.

The starting line, which Hana was well back from compared to many of the other racers, was set up on a cobbled sort of street outside of what seemed to be a typical fantasy village. She'd been assured this Mystwood area was still a part of Motor City, but it really seemed like they'd gone into a different world just by driving into a parking garage. Somewhat like what she'd done on the mission in Devil's Triangle with Enigma.

She wasn't sure what the road would look like ahead, though! They'd been directed to follow the magical signposts, and that was about all she knew about the course. "Alright, here we go!" Hana grinned at Dee Dee again, as red wisps of magical light popped up in the air above the raceway. Multiple red...yellow...she gripped the steering wheel tight. As the green wisp finally appeared, she pressed on the gas...accelerating as the vehicles in front of her began to move and spread out, making room for maneuvering.
