Judging by last time, that might be difficult..." The small vehicles tended to get an early burst in speed compared to her car.

Once the green light was given, Hana accelerated quickly, now a bit more experienced in how things whole thing worked. "Fair warning, if there's more riddles, expect screaming." She glanced at him before returning her eyes to the road. Advancing through the ranks was easier this time...the car hadn't been improved at all, she was just more confident for her second race.

Whoever was leading the pack had definitely blown their SPD increasing abilities immediately, so there was no catching up to them quite yet. "I'm pretty sure nobody here is as high level as us, so we'll catch up and blast past them in the next area!" The dirt road was getting sandier by the moment, as the trees became more sparse. "This must be the desert zone!"

"Oh! I know this place with great yakitori!" The area around her Guild base was slowly flourishing, even if it didn't extend fully into Tokyo yet. "They have beer, too! I'm just not gonna drink any. Hana plopped onto the butterfly, free hand snatching the board as they turned, returning it to her inventory. "Hoverboard? That's a good idea, maybe I should've combined it with the wings or something..." Pondering that, she settled in, letting Enigma handle this area.

Once she'd gotten used to flying around with no land in sight, it wasn't that bad, really. The fact that the portal they needed to reach was just floating there in the distance with nothing to obscure it but the occasional cloud was a big help. Once they'd gained enough height and speed, zipping through to the next area was easy enough.

"Aren't you in charge of dodging?" Hana stood, wobbling slightly before steadily herself. Swinging her hammer to batter away a few flying rocks, although the advantage of flight made this land-focused zone relatively easy to traverse. "Spirit? Uh, it's hanging on, I guess." She looked over her shoulder, the trail of blue mist still following after her.

Passing through another portal, now there was water everywhere, with no land in sight. It was so clear and still, reflecting the sky, that it was difficult to tell the two apart. "This is...somehow more unsettling than the one in the sky." She shivered inside her armor. Without the distant beacon of the last portal, they would've instantly become lost, nothing but endless sea stretching to the horizon in every direction.

Hana wasn't going to beat the beast with pure power. Thankfully she had plenty of backup, so all she really had to do was keep it busy and cut off its movement options. Her weapon was slow enough that her swing merely grazed it, but this caused all the ranged attacks and flybys to easily catch it off guard.

With her defenses still boosted, she could stay right in the minotaur's face and tank that roar, pulling one hand away for a moment. "Two can play that game!" Whipping her arm back around, she crammed the orb of her summoned staff into its open mouth. "EXPLOSION!"

Hana was flung back, skidding down the corridor, armor slightly singed. The minotaur was definitely worse off, though. Well, Aliyah assumed it was, as there wasn't anything left to examine. Just a minotaur-shaped scorch mark on the maze wall.

Hana did another double-take at the stairs. This place was sure confusing. "Uh, down it is I guess." Leading the way downstairs, she eventually stopped at the intersection, looking back at Aliyah to see what she wanted to do.

"We could just blast our way through. Or teleport out and give up on this one." She pondered other courses of action, before Aliyah suddenly looked down the corridor. Hana looked a moment later, seeing the large weapon flying towards the two of them. No time to dodge, so she'd have to tank this one.

Green lines began to glow all over her armor as she braced herself, shifting power to her defenses as she blocked with the shield she'd used earlier. This would just barely work...the musician stumbling back as she deflected the flying axe to the side, where it embedded in one of the ugly walls. A loud tone was produced as well, rippling down the hallway, although it barely tickled the minotaur at the moment.

"Alright, let's finish this thing off!" After recovering, Hana dashed forward, gripping her hammer with both hands. Closing the distance to swing at their foe, mainly hoping to pin it down so Aliyah and her pets could have time to attack.

The blue wisp dissipated along with the other, more aggressive spirits. Although now there was an insubstantial blue haze trailing behind Hana. "I, uh, guess that's good, right?" She looked at the latest popup that updated their mission status, trying to turn her board aside as jagged, less controlled portals opened all around them. The musician didn't have time to avoid the rift that swallowed them both and spit them out into a new area.

"Uh, is this still the astral plane or whatever? It seems a little more...fiery." Hana just shook her head as she double-checked their instructions. Enigma didn't seem very surprised by all of this, but he did hang around with spirits of some sort. "Alright, well, water beats fire. So hop on." She reached out to pull Enigma up onto her board, much as he'd welcomed her onto the giant butterfly last time.

Taking off, trailing a blue mist as the remnants of the absorbed spirit clung to her, Hana maneuvered her board as best she could. The main problem was all the steam it was creating, as the unending flow of water that pushed it along interacted with the warm ground and air. Not to mention the times she had to pass right over flowing lava!

Hana noticed Enigma had altered direction slightly, turning to match as she smashed a few more ghosts in her path with that hammer, using the spinning motion to give her a bit of extra momentum to catch up. "Alright, be careful!" Pulling on her scarf with one free hand, it seemed to grow larger as it was unwound, obscuring her entire form...before she seemed to vanish completely.

After a moment, the same sound of rushing water that had signaled her arrival could be heard. But much, much louder this time. Hana reappeared, scarf back in place, standing atop her recently upgraded surf board as a massive wave of water burst into existence under it! Lifting her up and carrying her forward rapidly, the wave reshaping into a shark's maw as it chomped through the ghosts in her path.

After bursting through the pack, she turned sharply, water following her. Hesitating for only a moment before reaching out to grasp at the spirit, trying to gain control of it and clear this step of their mission.

Nodding, Hana followed him out of the clearing, through the backwards trail they'd taken before. At the flicker of moment, her signature hammer appeared in her hands, as she looked back and forth warily. "Uh, I saw...something. Maybe."

She took a step back as the ghastly thing lifted straight up out of the ground. She knew to expect ghosts and such, but it was still a strange thing to actually see! Enigma blasted it immediately, though, so Hana hurried after him as he began to move. "That sounds about right. Whatever they're protecting must be something the mission wants us to see!"

Dashing forward, she smashed the first few out of their way with one swing from her hammer. Seeing more in their path as they continued, she freed up one hand to select something new from her inventory. A fan made of feathers, which she unfolded and waved in front of her...a tornado suddenly whirling to life, moving swiftly in front of them to clear the path of more spirits. Even if it didn't entirely dissipate them, they were at least out of their way for a moment!

Well, Hana had gone through all the trouble to get to Ender Island, and even unlocked Forge Island. She might as well explore the place a bit! She'd heard something about tribes of naga and mermaids or something at war, but that didn't really interest her. Although she did enjoy the beach...

Might as well take a peek! Just a jaunt down by the water, with no clear destination in mind. After how quickly she'd smashed all those forsaken enemies last time, she had a feeling they wouldn't bother her at all this time. Maybe she could even take her surf board out for a little ride! The water seemed calm enough today, but it's not like she was a professional surfer or anything. Thankfully hers just moved by itself, no waves or weather required.

Of course, the last thing she was expecting to find when she got there was a treasure chest. Actually, this was the third time this had happened to her. Maybe she had a knack for finding them? That would really start up an interesting little treasure chest loop, huh?

Last time she'd fought a giant bee, and before that she'd at least had to dig a giant hole in some really annoying sad. There was a giant turtle involved this time, sure, but he seemed pretty chill. Said turtle just glanced at her and bobbed his head in a nod as she approached, before resuming his contented floating.

Hana waved off the compliment, likely blushing inside her helmet. "Oh, uh, it's not a big deal! I've just been saving up, and after doing all that Forging, it seemed like a good time to cash in! And I'm sure there's stronger people out there we're just, like, not aware of. They might be grinding out levels in the wilderness or something, and we just never run into them."
