When Mikael laughed and clapped Jonas smiled in return as he continued with the song. Whether he was laughing at him or with him he didn't care. He had entertained the other man in some form and that was enough for him. Although he was somewhat disappointed that the appearance of the giant caused them to stop their appreciation. That didn't stop him from chuckling at their joke.

Mikael seemed to know what he was doing as he immediately jumped into action when the giant was vulnerable. While the other man kept the monster distracted Jonas continued with his song. The voice that came out of his mouth this time sounded like it belonged to an entirely different man than the one he'd used just moments before. “Fe-fi-fo-fuck. I smell the flow of a thief you all know, and whose green only goes up. Putting seeds in a foe's mom cuz that means I'm a grower. Have her leaving with rope burn.”

Mikael seemed to be pretty tanky thankfully as they took a hit from the giant without much worry. He considered healing them for a moment before they called out to him. Jonas then brought his finger up to his lips as he rapped and twirled it around. A thick rainbow-colored rope wrapped itself around his digit before he pointed it at the giant. It shot forward and extended until it wrapped around the monster's arms and legs. An audible squeezing sound effect could be heard coming from all around. Although it wasn't enough to completely immobilize the giant it would be enough to slow them down.

“Poster-boy of most certainly being misjudged. Had a cow but I sold her for some worthless beans. I was down 'til a burglary and a murder had turned me from poor to a rich cunt.” Another ball of energy formed and was shot at the giant while it tried to get back to its feet. It was knocked down once again, but that didn't stop it from trying to use its massive frame to attack Mikael. As he got close it swept its arm out in a wide arc in front of it to try to bat him away.

Thankfully it didn't take long for somebody to respond to his ad. This forum was rather convenient. It was almost like 2 hours shipping a friend. Jonas wondered what other sort of things he'd be able to use it for. But that was something he'd have to discover another time as his companion had arrived.

The man seemed to be well prepared judging from the shield and sword he carried with him. Looks like Jonas got lucky with his friend purchase and he didn't get some sort of knockoff Wish model. Pretty easy on the eyes too. Alright, he'll do.

He waved back to them as he stood up and brushed off his pants. “Hey Mikael. My name's Jonas. It seems the townspeople didn't know much about it. They weren't even really sure it existed until these people went missing and they found the footprints nearby. They guess it's a giant humanoid.”

Jonas opened the door to the castle and began to walk inside. To his surprise, the inside of the castle was completely clean! There didn't seem to be a speck of dust on anything! The entrance hall had a large staircase at the end and was scarcely furnished with a few tables. He cupped his hands over his mouth and called out. “Hello!” It echoed around the hall as he expected it to. He spoke normally this time. “Alright if this thing attacked the villagers who got close then it should be easy to find. I'm going to make a lot of noise to draw it to us. Get ready.”

Suddenly Jonas' body began to shake violently and the sound of music filled the air. It sounded like something you'd hear in a tavern in an RPG. It echoed throughout the hall as did the words that came out of his mouth like a narrator in a storybook. “Once upon a time, there was a boy who'd never age. He spent his time a-writing fire hooks upon a page. He chilled with those who chilled and weak ass pussies got the boot.”

A ferocious yell could be heard even over the performance as an enormous blue-skinned man came running down the stairs. That didn't deter Jonas from gathering a multicolored ball of swirling energy in front of his mouth. “He lined each cat against the wall for all the king's madmen to shoot.” He lifted an arm and pointed a finger gun at the giant before pulling the trigger so the speak. The ball then launched at the giant which hit their leg causing them to tumble down the stairs. So far so good.

While the giant was falling Jonas took the chance to continue with his song. “Through each hood he went a-riding spitting rhymes and nary capping. Notoriously big and bad. Twas, not your granny's rapping. For he'd been to quell the giants who went stalking through the night. His tales were loosy goosy, but his bars were fucking tight.” When he turned his fist into devil's horns and raised it in the air the ground beneath the men began to shake. The floor around Jonas tore apart and floated in the air around them before forming hexagonal cylinders with pointed ends.

Jonas waved at the pair as they arrived. He wasn't sure who the woman was, but the small pink-haired girl was one he'd done a mission with before. Although there wasn't any combat involved in that one. Hopefully, the two of them would be able to take care of themselves. He'd be there to cover for them if anything bad happened though. One of the benefits of having a support in the party after all.

The woman seemed rather grumpy about being here for some reason. Maybe he could reassure her in some way. “True. Who knows what sort of thing we'll run into? My class is a support and I'm pretty decent at protecting others. If anything happens I'll be here to help you out. Still, it's not a bad idea to have an Escape Rope handy...” Not that he thought to bring one himself in his haste to get to the island.

It seemed like the woman was reaching into her bag to prepare the item just in case something happened, but that's not what she pulled out. Instead, she produced some sort of book. Strange. Suddenly a barrel fell over on the deck. He jumped from the sound and quickly turned to see the cause. It was then he noticed something walking out of the once-empty barrel!

As if to illustrate his point that he would protect the pair when they set foot on Ender Island Jonas immediately readied himself to face whatever it was. His entire body began vibrating violently causing the boat to rock even more than it already was. With his fists raised in front of him, he greeted the creature that appeared from thin air. Which was... a small girl? That seemed to know the woman who held the book? Odd, but he wasn't taking any chances.

“So uh... What's all this then?” Jonas raised an eyebrow and lowered his fists as Jeanne-Marie began to talk to the small creature. He didn't trust this 'Dee Dee', but it was best to not be actively hostile toward whatever it was. At least not while Kitty and Jeanne-Marie were acting friendly towards it. The vibrating of his body slowed down enough that the boat was back to its normal state.

He kept an eye on 'Dee Dee' until he heard somebody from another boat. Unfortunately what was said wasn't entirely pleasant. To Jonas at least. He rolled his eyes at Idir's boasts of his strength. “Let's hope he can back up all that bravado.” And that he wouldn't be like this the entire mission.

Soon enough they reached the shore of the island and they could all disembark from the boat. One of the men from the other boats introduced himself and Jonas did the same in turn. “Well if we're going to be working together we should know what we're getting into. My name is Jonas and I'm mostly a support. I can heal, shield others, put out a debuff, and even do some damage if the situation calls for it.”
