Ender Island...he's heard of it. Or rumours of the place. There was also the fact that he knew that there was an open invitation to head into Ender Island for everyone who now had a class. However, from what he heard, it can be very dangerous. Kael was not one to be scared of that fact, but he knew well enough that he needed to be prepared before he even thought of tackling such a challenge.

"I have heard of the place, and I must say, its descriptions seem to hint that there is something more there." It was, after all, a new and technically undiscovered region of the world. "If there truly are intelligent life there that aren't human, then we must truly try to work with them, if only to make this world a much safer place to inhabit. To harness their abilities, alongside our own, would make your dream much more achievable." Kael nodded.

As for his question, Mikael found himself stopping himself from impulsively answering. He considered it a moment. "I...see your point. I understand your ideas, and your conviction is only a testament to your passion. I will have to consider this well." Hopelessness, that was the end of humanity. Perhaps this was to be his source of hope for a better world. For a better future. "Will you exchange contact information? Perhaps one day when I feel ready to tackle Ender, I will have made up my mind." He offered the man.

Kael found himself shocked at the sight. In fact, he felt his jaw drop...and not pick up just yet. He just stood and stared at the structure, in the middle of nowhere, being built by Dee Dee's partners. It was magnificent to say the least. Kael felt himself smiling slowly at the sight, and then giving Dee Dee a thumbs up!

"This is amazing, Dee Dee!" He walked closer, before looking at the structure with a more critical eye. Everything looked sound. The summons were doing a great job, and perhaps too good! If people caught on, they might start getting people who have summons to work as contruction people. "What made you want to make this? What's your motivation?" He found himself asking off-handedly.

Looking towards the woman, he then gave her another thumbs-up. "I can only take food from you if I helped. So, would you like a hand with this?" Kael moved towards the woman, shedding his armor in the process as he stared to look towards where he might be able to help. "I might not be the best at these things, but I can carry things for your summons!" He said enthusiastically!

Kael did his best, but it seems that Andy had a better handle of things. his knife work was flawless, precise, and with passion. It looks as if the ability of the man to cook translated to the use of a knife. Kael wasn;t surprised, only intrigued![break][break]
Carrying the ice back was easy enough. He was more curious about the surroundings, and the means which they appeared here. But then again, he shouldn't really be surprised anymore. The world was different now. Instant teleportation was a thing. Who needed planes when in an instant, one can appear from one country to another. No wait times, a bit of nausea, but still better than plane rides to be sure. Probably safer too?[break][break]

The woman's comments jarred him for a moment. It came from her heart, and she meant it. Kael was not one to be oblivious to people's words, their intent behind them, and the tone they say them with. Vanya seems to be a woman who was holding quite a bit back, and if he was being honest, he found it...very interesting. Perhaps he wanted to knew what the woman was hiding behind those veiled eyes.

Her next words, however, made him blush deep red. "N-no...never! My mind is never in the gutter, I can promise you that." He bowed slightly in apology, before keeping to his business. He needed to get himself out of this mess. How inexperienced was he? Kael was not one to stumble over his words, even with beautiful women.

The poke, the flick on his nose, got him stunned for a moment. He scratched the back of his head, before smiling shyly. "Well, we're done here. I know of a small pub just down the street." It was cozy, and quiet. The perfect place to relax and unwind in such a busy city.

Kael found himself taking a walk in the...wilderness? Could this even be considered the wilderness? It certainly was out of the way, though Kael knew that there were dangers lurking at every corner and every shadow. The problem with being out and away from the purviews of civilization were the creatures that lurk and prey on those who wander. Kael was determined to not be a prey at all.

Speaking of which, he came here to take a breather. The last time he had gone exploring, he had done it with Andy. Now, he was alone. He knew he needed to be more careful. Eyes open, and ears up!

Mikael had been looking at his system for a bit, sitting down in one of the less frequented areas of the Draco Islands. From what he had been told, this area should be safe. Well, safe enough as he was warned. There was still an off chance that some other creature might stumble upon him and those in the surrounding areas. However, Mikael himself felt equipped enough to run away as fast as possible if required. He was no coward, but he was definitely someone who believed in preserving life, especially his own.

Just as he was about to press enter into his level ups, and make the choices he needed to choose, he found himself being watched. It was at the back of his spine. He felt it first, before even noticing that the bushes were moving ever so slightly. Then again, the bushes here were almost as tall as people. It reminded him of a corn maze, but not quite.

Mikael heard shuffling, and then as one sound left the vicinity, another started. He turned towards where the other sound had been coming from, possibly another person in the area walking around, and stared hard. He wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be someone who was going to jump him.

If and when the person showed their face, Mikael would scream in fright!

This was it. Today was the day he will be challenging him when it comes to taking on more challenging missions. He knew that as a tank, he would be wanted by people to join their group. After all, taking damage was something he can do well, and support roles are usually more lacking when it comes to things like these. Well, that was how it was when he was playing games. Nobody ever wanted to willingly choose support roles save for those who were good at them.

He crested a hill, wearing the not-so-useful armor he had scavenged with Hana. The equipment was not part of the system technically, and therefore only provided...style. It was odd, but he felt safer wearing the piece of armor. It was a shield of sorts, a way for him to rationalize his role in any combat situation.

Who he saw, however, made him smile.

"Dee Dee! It's been so long!" Has it? Time moved oddly in this new world. At least for him it did. "And...hello new friends." He waved to those he had not met yet. "My name's Mikael, Kael for short. I'm your tank for today!" He smiled his genuine, wide smile, before turning his attention to the summons that weren't Dee Dee's, to the interestingly looking man, and finally, to the woman. He greeted them all each, and then asked, "Are you a summoner as well, Mr..." He trailed off, unsure what the person's name was, but certainly interested in the summons that the man had.

Kael could not help but chuckle at Idir's joke. "If you were, I don't think I am in the position to judge you for your...tastes." The man was good humoured, which was always a good thing. Kael found himself surrounded by fear, and death, and danger, that he needed to find the solace of humour once in awhile. He felt that his friend Andy might think he's submerging himself too much in the negativity.

He listened to Idir's thoughts and his reasoning. The man was certainly someone who seemed to enjoy the hunt. He had the build, and he seems to have the attitude for it. Kael himself was not one to judge how one interacts with the creatures around them nowadays, especially with how dangerous some of them can be. "From what I gather, you seem to be one to who studies animals behaviours, and then adapt those that you deem to be useful for yourself and your own survival and growth." In this world, perhaps that was what one truly needed to do?

Speaking of more intelligent creatures, Kael perked up. "While hunting wild animals, especially those who pose a threat, can be important in this new world of ours. I can say I agree that if there are such beasts as those who are intelligent and can communicate, perhaps it is by sharing this world with those intelligent beasts that we can once again live in relative peace in this world." He shook his head, "Whatever peace that brings that is. My work as a historian has given me the purview that we, humans, cannot endure peace for too long." It was a sad state of affairs, and one that he saw throughout his studies. Wars fought and won, and for what?

Stress was certainly what he felt, but he was acclimating to it well enough. At least, that was how he felt. "This is certainly a nice getaway. As for stress, well..." He paused a moment, before breaking out into a smile. "Well, I feel like I'm slowly getting used to it!" This was reality, after all. There was nothing really he could do but acclimate to the situation. Maybe he could do that in better ways, but Mikael knew he was at least trying his best. [break][break]
"That sounds like a plan! You know how I love myself a rack of ribs!" He salivated slightly with just the thought of it, though he made sure not to show it. That would just be embarrassing.[break][break]
Kael listened to Andy's explanation, and found himself nodding. "Yes, I've seen a few people who could do extraordinary things with seemingly ordinary professions." Take for example Andy! "I've heard of guilds prior, though I hope to adventure just a bit more before joining one. There's so much of the world to see, Andy! So much!" Dangerous as they may be. "I'll find myself though, don't worry. In fact, maybe my calling in life was to be a tank!" He was built for it, after all. [break][break]
As Andy handed him the water filter, Kael immediately set to work. He filled it up, drank, and then filled it up some more for Andy. "Here you go! Get something to drink first!" Waiting for a few moments for the man to et set-up, Kael continued, "So, what do you have planned today, Andy? Some barbecue? Maybe some roasted corn?" Kael smiled, though his stomach did gurgle somewhat. Maybe he was a bit hungrier than he initially thought...

At the mention of utilizing the armor as a fashion item of sorts, Kael found himself grinning. Without second thought, he started donning the armor as though they were a part of his own wardrobe. It was heavy, but not heavy enough to warrant him having any problems at all. Perhaps this was part of the system's stats. More towards his Power may mean he truly has more physical power. Or maybe it was Vitality?

"Wait, did you say guns?" Kael, after donning the armor, looked at the ground as he finally spotted the shell casings. "Isn't owning a gun, and using it, an expensive expenditure?" Idir said a lot of words, and Kael will pretend he was able to follow all of them. The man was certainly way more passionate about animals than he was. However, he was at least able to get a gist of what the man was saying.

These creatures are majestic, and the way they interact with the world, those around them, all show just what kind of creatures they are. Jeanne's class seems to be quite useful. Being able to make copies, even if not permanent, made things easier in situations like these. The question is, could her class make a permanent copy? That would be totally awesome! However, how would people who had rare and valuable items feel about that? Kael would be thrilled, but then again, he didn't really have anything good for anybody to want to copy. Maybe this was a skill to be used amongst good friends and allies.[break][break]

He supposed that his warning to be cautious need not be heeded when the person you're with was this powerful. Dee Dee, decked with all of her items, seemed to easily do whatever it is she needed to do in order to not only defeat the giant rat, but to also perform feats of acrobatics and strength. It was certainly an eye-opener for Kael, who was only trying to get back to leveling and getting stronger. Perhaps this was his call to arms.
