The man in the street, Leo, jumped when Tristan appeared and immediately started running. "Jesus dude! H-hey wait, where're you going?" He kicked some dirt. "I didn't even hit him or anything!" [break][break]

It didn't take long for others to start being teleported in. A samurai for one, but otherwise it looked like there were just a shit ton of bikers. A woman even drove in on a chariot pulled by motorcycles. "YO HOLD ON THAT'S ACTUALLY SO SICK-" Her "away with you" Made Leo freeze in his tracks and cringe. [break][break]

His attention was drawm by the samurai woman. Made by "Earthy"? What the hell kinda assumption was that?! A smile spread across his face though when she called him an enemy. "Oh hell yeah, don't threaten me with a good time! There's only, what, seven of you? That-" [break][break]

Leo was cut off by a card flying at him and exploding, blowing away the rest of few shreds of his shirt that had endured until then. That alone was enough to [Defense Break] him, and he wasn't even fighting yet! "Hey! What the hell kinda samurai throws cards at people?!" He brushed his chest off and squared up.[break][break]

It really was a mixed bag here that he was up against. Ordinarily his training told him to target the Samurai first since she was in armor, but another woman declared herself the group's tactician. One of them--the same one that called Leo CUTE--called that woman "Seiko".[break][break]

"Hey, all I'm saying- let's just set the bikes aside and maybe whoever's left standing can go on a victory loop! No? Just me? Tch!” Leo’s form suddenly erupted as he nearly doubled in size, taking on the visage of a bulky lizard-man with sharp scales and steam hissing from his body. ”You can’t say it wasn’t worth a try! Now let’s Dance!”[break][break]

Leo activated his [Quake] ability, immediately leaping and soaring through the air to crash into the ground next to Seiko. Thanks to the samurai [Defense Breaking] him earlier, he already had a boost to his [SPD] from his [Primal Reflex] passive. The ground all around erupted from his impact, threatening to toss around anyone else nearby.[break][break]

”C’MON, SEIKO!” Leo Howled, activating his [Begin the Hunt] to inflict [Fear] on his enemies. ”TIME TO TANGO![break][break]

It seemed like her nonchalant card toss did something to the man before he transformed. Arcana was hoping it would only deal some damage at the start of the fight, But she didn't expect her attack to deal a [DEF Break]. The moment he complained about a samurai throwing cards, she groaned in annoyance. "Look. I didn't ask to wear this crazy armor. But this gives me plenty of defense, so I'm not complaining that much."

Despite that, this might pose a problem for her. Her [Fortuneteller] class was more or less a magic class and [DEF] wasn't her forte. If that Behemoth targets her first, then she is down for a count. For now, she needed to gain distance as she pulled out a blank card from her [Deck Holster] and backed a few steps away from the monster. "Right back at you, Ripzilla." With a big grin, Arcana tossed the card to one of the Behemoth's arms. If it hits and stuck on one of them, it will be ready for its effect later.

Her expectations were thrown into total disrepair within seconds. She had fully prepared herself to join this group in the thrashing of a brutish scoundrel of a man, yet now before her stood not a monstrous man but a man-monster. Eliciting an insincere scoff, she kept her attention squarely on the unavoidable eyesore that was the Behemoth given far more appropriate form.

One howl seemed to be all it took to shatter her willingness to engage with the increasingly boorish threat, instilling her with dreadful [Fear]. Wide eyed and unnerved, she attempted to at least give the appearance of remaining level-headed in the face of the slightest inkling of a threat. Of course… She wasn’t prepared to charge just yet; her rattled nerves conjured a million excuses. She was far from alone, an entire confluence of potential allies had converged, and throwing around a heavy piece of machinery might prove disruptive, given that one of her allies was already dealing with the beast quite handily—those cards were fierce.

As far, she could glean they had a strategist, a card throwing samurai, an ostentatious skater, and a guy. Par for the course these days. What was left for her was to ponder, whizzing and whirling, keeping herself moving. Taking the reins, she wrestled the motorcycles guiding her chariot up and away. Angling her route, she kept her distance. Sure, to not take an eye off of the looming threat, who looked increasingly small.

[attr="class","tristanf2"]As Tristan sprints in his wide arc, the man seems to say something directed towards him but the wind rushing at his ears prevents him from making out the words. What he does hear, however, is the explosion that seemed to take place on the enemy’s body. Seeing his new gigantic form though, he wonders if that really affected him at all.

Although the fight has already begun, Tristan is too far away to do anything. The behemoth launches himself and crashes in front of the self-proclaimed-tactician girl. While the monster is occupied with the main group, he assumes his best bet is to make a run towards the target’s flank. Continuing his run, he accelerates ever so slightly so that he is now behind where the behemoth is facing, albeit still quite a distance away. Only the echoes of the roar make their way to Tristan, sending a shiver down his spine. He needs to go faster. Hopefully his companions for the day would manage to fend for themselves. Maybe he shouldn’t have run off so early - it’d be at least a few more seconds until he could get close to the confrontation.

Well at least she knew her opponent wasn't entirely stupid, that was a valuable piece of information in the end, though it wasn't exactly helping her out here at this exact moment. At the very least the [Healthy Amount] synergy was triggered and that gave her some options but at the moment she had a massive figure barreling down on her and little to immediately do about it. The flow ran through her and she pieced out probable movements and patterns, it was time to try and put it into action. As the Behemoth landed, Alpha turned, lifting Seiko and protecting her with its body causing its defense to break but it survived the attack due to its heightened [DEF].

Beta had taken refuge in Seiko's shadow and then came out, grabbing Seiko by the ankle and using its enhanced [PWR] to throw her away in an arc through the air and using its momentary connection with her to fade back into her shadow at the end of the throw. As she flew away both Alpha and Beta fired a crossbow bolt into the Behemoth's chest though it was unlikely to do anything but be a momentary distraction. Her [WIL] had negated the [Fear] but now she needed to get to work. Alpha immediately slid away and joined to Juno's shadow and Seiko reached inwards to the second bundle of power within her.

A third soldier slid out of her shadow, enhanced for [MAGI] and it moved away to connect with Tristan as she activated Call Reinforcements. "Warning, two passives. Speed enhancement on defense break. Speed enhancement, stealth negation and self-regeneration upon damage on bleeding targets. Advisory, fastest members strike hard and disengage immediately." She called out as she landed on the ground and skidded backwards to land near Arcana. "Coordinate movements and stay defensive, there are still unknown parameters." Her voice was measured and ice-cold even after the close call with the Behemoth's attack. She needed her next soldier soon to properly ready a full assault but that would take time, so she needed to stall.

And was also hurtling at Seiko, and by extension Juno, at the speed of “time for me to get the hell out of dodge”. The skater glanced just in time to see Seiko snatched out of the way by one of her soldiers, leaving them the ability to fend for themselves. Luckily, while the big bastard was fast he wasn’t faster than Juno, so the greenette simply launched into the air back and away from the Behemoth, their skates sparking with neon flames as they do so.[break][break]

The roar was unexpected and frankly terrifying, the [Fear] gripping them and making it so that they wouldn’t be able to move any closer to him. Which was something they’d have to worry about later, because at the moment they were pretty fine with the imposed social distancing. The flames beneath their skates took hold and formed platforms as they “landed” on air, their [Phoenix Trail] activating on instinct “Luckily there seems to be three of us who focus on speed, if Trackstar and Tron Legacy over there are anything to go by.” Despite the joke, the runner had a good idea, which prompted Juno to begin to skate in an arc around Behemoth, heading in the opposite direction as Tristan.[break][break]

“Hey, Freakzilla! Come dance with me, I’m sure you’re not Seiko’s type.” despite the terror seizing his limbs and making it impossible for Juno to advance, he could also feel the increase to his stats, which he would of course take complete advantage of. Their foot flickered forwards and a short spear-like shaft of flame launched from the trail, aiming to slam into the Behemoth’s chest straight on “Honestly though I don’t know if anyone is Seiko’s type. She's a ‘I don’t have friends, they disappoint me’ kinda girl, which usually doesn’t scream ‘I love to date’, you know?”[break]
