One day, she noticed one of her classmates was doing a tarot card reading to find out about their love life. Not that Arin mattered as she was mostly attracted to the cards than the reading itself, so she bought her own tarot deck online. Did it tell her the future where she could free herself from her older sister's shackles? No, but it's initially enough to enjoy herself for a while. And yet, it became the security blanket that she kept in her bag or pocket at all times. The tarot deck itself was seemingly not special. She ordered it online from her first payroll and the art itself was designed as a 90's anime mixed with medieval drawings in it. In her defense, she bought it because it was cheap and it was called the "original tarot set" from that obscure occult tarot site instead of the Rider-Waite one that her classmate was using or any other decks.[break][break]
First impressions alone, it seemingly looked too old considering it came from a secondhand site. But at the same time, it's her life coach and friend. She even tried to find card sleeves when she was researching the deck's unknown origins. To her, it's the only one that cared for her. And anyone hurting her friend will pay...

The Fortune Teller class is one in which a person uses a medium to chart the path to the future, often looking for specific details or a specific outcome. In your case, your cards are your medium and the future you look for is one you chart your own course to through your own strength and a little bit of luck and insight from fate. You can forge the power of “potential futures” into cards. Specifically a deck of tarot cards. You are given three initial cards to choose from and can gain more through the use of killing staff-created monsters, after which you’ll roll a 1d3, if it lands on a 3 you can convert the record of its “potential future” into your deck which will create a new card with an effect inspired by the monster and its future. These collective cards are known simply as your [Deck]. You start with being able to utilize three magic tarot cards directly from your core and are currently able to gain a max of three more. Every 10 levels your core's existing cards up to a maximum of 3 cards can be discarded in favor of opening the slots to gain new ones. This can be done via request in system moderation. In addition, you are able to choose which Arcana (name-wise) these cards belong to as you gain them (for thematic sake). You can use up to 1 card per post, once thrown the cards magically “blink” out of the “present” before reappearing back in your deck the following post. Small harmless illusions of the arcana can appear from the cards but otherwise don't impact people as they are just for "flavor".[break][break]
