Hikari heard of something happening here in the Draco Islands. Specifically, a Christmas event. People have been sending messages in the player's forum that was available to everyone. The limited use of their phones was useful in some ways. It made people less distracted, and truly more connected. Well, in some ways.

And of course, the posts were true. She looked around the area, realizing that the climate she was expecting was not it. This was winter, not the summer vibes she was expecting. And the presents laying around didn't make it any better.

Just then a mission prompt popped up in front of her. "Huh...so this is Utopia's new base. And...a mission to boot." Hikari accepted the mission and checked her items. The new Halo she got was floating on her head, dark now instead of the golden yellow hue it once had. Her new headgear was in place, though invisible, and everything else was where they were supposed to be. She nodded to herself, before realizing she wasn't the only one in this mission.

"It seems Hana and Dee Dee arrived just in time." She has sent a message to Hana about this mysterious event, while she had asked Dee Dee if the rumours were true about Utopia now being located in the Draco Isles. It seems both got her message.

"I thought you were supposed to be some sorta water elemental? Shouldn't you like the beach?" Hana was conversing with her new companion, Suiu, on their way to the rendezvous point. "It's too hot..." The musician rolled her eyes. "What about the parts with snow and ice? You could go skating!" The elemental clinging to Hana's back shook her head. "That's too cold!"

The two soon popped through a break in the palm trees, as the blonde waved to Hikari. They were standing atop that strange surfboard, propelled along by the constant stream of water bubbling up underneath it. Hana didn't have on her usual outfit, or even her armor, instead fully covered by a black wetsuit with purple trim, with an out of place 'I ♥ Paris' logo on the front.

Scooting along the Utopia area, Dee Dee would stop and give a hug to a random Waddle-Dee or Waddle-Doo the little creatures quite happy to receive the hugs from their friend before she would continue on and hug slimes and get nommed on by Dragoncows, even the snow and cold didn't seem to bother many the Naga had warm clothing and homes, the Sharkmen were fine. The community was doing well, there were some hiccoughs at first some of the people that showed up where scared at first of the monsters and the like that were in area, but it was worked out when they realized they were people that lived here too, and it quickly calmed down, the sight of them being kind and gentle with the Waddle-Dee's and Waddle-Doo's likely helped since they were the least threatening things ever. she got a message from Hikari about the rumors and Dee Dee had replied that it was true! and she scooted over to where her friends would be arriving, a group of Waddle-Dee's and Waddle-Doo's following her clearly thinking of her as one of them as she picked up a few Gifts on the ground as she seen her friends in the distance and waved to them as she headed over, the Waddle-Dee's and Doo's helping her pick up gifts and bringing them over to her for her to add to her inventory for returning later. "Hey guys how are you, enjoying the event?" she asked with her word Bubble as she scoots over to her friends only to notice the different aura around Hikari and she blinked a moment "Hikari your seemingly positively menacing, you got a new skill or something that's making you give off that feeling?" she asked as the Waddle-Doo made a little wall of them between Hikari and Dee Dee and all the Waddle-Dee, clearly thinking of the Small girl as if she was one of the Waddle-Dee Hikari Hana Sakuyuki |

Hikari smiled at Hana and waved at Suiu. Seeing Suiu reminded her that Kairi had wanted to be called out when she had arrived at the beach. And so, she raised her hand, and the Angelic Serpent manifested, coiling herself around Hikari and draping herself on Hikari's should, as though a fur shawl.

"Dee Dee said she would- Ah, there she is." She smiled at the approaching Dee Dee, and gave her a small bow. "I'm glad you're not busy, Dee Dee. I thought it would be great to work together. I was surprised to see all of this." Hikari gestured around, more specifically the presents falling softly onto the snow-filled ground. "It seems Utopia has a lot on their hands this month."

Looking towards Hana, she would pet Kairi's head before responding to both hers and Dee Dee's question. "Ah, it seems I acquired new items that make me seem that way. Though I can assure you that I am still the same person. Or else Kairi might not like me as much." She chuckled, letting Kairi nuzzle her head on her cheek, before looking ahead. "Though it seems animals like me more now." Looking at the parrots and waving forwards, commanded them to fly towards her and land on her outstretched arm. The parrots then bowed to her, before flying away.

"Perhaps we should get started? Though it seems we have to be wary of certain Christmas-themed mobs..." Hikari looked around a moment, before making her way forward. "I hope you'll be okay in that dress, Hana? It seems a tad bit colder than anyone expected here." She, herself, felt the chill, but otherwise was fine. At least for now.

It took Hana several moments of looking through nearly identical bandannas atop short figures to pick out Dee Dee. The word balloon that popped up helped narrow things down. "Who're all your, uh, friends, Dee Dee? More elves?" She hadn't gathered this many new summons since the last time they'd worked together, had she?

Next Hikari summoned the birds to land on her, like she was some sort of cartoon princess, before the parrots bowed and flew away. The blonde just scratched at her head for a moment, taking in the scene. Suiu, meanwhile, had actually relaxed as Dee Dee and her friends arrived. They were more than familiar to her, and quite calming. The elemental waved energetically from her spot floating behind Hana.

"Cold? Oh no, this thing keeps the heat in pretty well! You should raise your defensive stats if this is too chilly for you!" Hana grinned. Although the mixed climate, alternating between sand and ice fairly randomly, was a bit hard to get used to, even for her. "It seems to be pretty easy to find these presents, though." She gestured around at the few easily visible nearby, which the crowd of Dees seemed to be diligently retrieving for their leader.

"Oh yeah, I brought that treasure map I mentioned before! I don't know if it'll do anything special during a mission like this, but it's worth a try." Hana gestured, as weathered parchment appeared from her inventory, unrolling to display the big red X in the middle of the crude map of the island.

Dee Dee gestured to the Waddle-dee's and Waddle-doo's all of them wearing Utopia Bandana's well.. non-member ones anyway "these are the Waddle-Dee's and Waddle-Doo's that showed up once we upgraded the guild and they started to make homes for themselves in the Settlement that started to pop up around the Guild! They have been Treating me as one of there own since the moment they saw me... I think they think I am a Waddle-Dee" the Word bubble popped up to explain the multitude of creatures surrounding Dee Dee, as the Small girl gently pats the Waddle-doo on the head and they looked up to her then to Hikari then back to Dee Dee and nodded to her seeming to be less on guard about the woman with the somewhat evil aura. Dee Dee then waved to Suiu happy to see her "Gald your looking healthy Suiu, I knew Hana would take good care of you, and you to Kairi Glad your doing well, Hikari was very tender with your egg so I knew you would be find too" she greeted them like a Teacher or Nanny would greet the children she helped teach or raise, the Waddle-dee all waving to them as well as Dee Dee looked around at the snow around them a few more Waddle-dee giving her the gifts they picked up. With the gifts gathered she pets the Waddle-dee who have very happy looks on their cute faces "Thanks little guys, you all should get back to the main village area to help building! I will go with my friends here to pick up the gifts and deal with the even monsters okay?" the Word bubble popped up for them to read and the Waddle-dee all Gave a little salute and were about to head out but the Waddle-doo didn't move Shaking their heads and looking up at Dee Dee "I will be fine my friends will protect me, and I can protect myself.. I am Waddle-Dee Dee after all remember.. a Special Waddle-Dee! I am strong..." the Waddle-Doo didn't seem to be convinced after they read the word bubble and blinked up at Dee Dee clearly very protective of what they thought was a very strange Waddle-Dee. "I will be fine honest they are my friends and I have my other friends to protect me, besides I have a very important job for you Waddle-Doo!" the Word bubble popped up once more and after reading it the Waddle-Doo looked up at Dee Dee Wide eyed with excitement and eagerness "I need you all to protect the Other Waddle-Dee while they help everyone build their homes in case any of the monsters wandering around threaten them or any of the other inhabitants, the Maze Guardian will help you do this work too so all of you work together okay?" the Waddle-Doo nodded eagerly and took out little spears clearly ready to defend their friends as they escorted the Waddle-dee back to the construction area keeping their large eyes' open for any dangers that might threaten their more peaceful friends. Looking back to Hana and Hikari she shrugged a little "They are brave little guys, and want to help protect everyone, but they get really protective of me.. I think it's cause they see me as a Special kind of Waddle-Dee! which honestly makes me feel happy that they consider me one of them.. BUT anyway lets get collecting!" the Word bubble said as she pointed her finger and BombDee Kramer, and Jimmy popped out of the stars that shot from Dee Dee's finger, the three having been resting till now. but the three summons looked ready to help out and waved to the Hana, Hikari, and their pets. Hikari smiled at Hana's comment, before nodding in acknowledgement. "You are more than likely right, Miss Hana. Perhaps in my next few level ups." It was already on her mind, and she knew she needed to increase her defensive stats more. She was a glass cannon, as she had been referred to previously, and while she has defensive capabilities, she needed more.

A treasure map? "Oh, perhaps that map would prove useful indeed!" It was, at least, very interesting to see it in action. She had not seen anything like it prior, and she was curious to see what they might be able to get from this treasure map. Treasures, after all, were quite thematic to this place...well, prior to all the snow at least.

Looking around, Dee Dee's guild certainly was a place of...mystery. Especially with these new beings that now seem to populate the area. What were they? Waddle-Doo? She was glad, though, that the beings seem to really like Dee Dee, and treat her as one of their own. She smiled as they passed her, "These little folks sure look very cute. I'll make sure to protect them while picking up the presents."

Hikari turned to the presents now, and picked one up. It wasn't too heavy, though it certainly was hefty. She placed one into her inventory, before moving towards the next one. As she picked this one up, she spotted a little fella grinning at her mischievously. It was...an elf? Its grin widened when it saw Hikari spot it, before taking out a knife and slashing at one of the presents. Hikari narrowed her eyes, before sending Shotsuren forward, catching the elf by surprise and running it through. "Heads up, we seem to have company, and they like to destroy the presents." She looked towards her companions, before turning her attention back towards her line of sight. If there was one, there was bound to be others.

"Thank you Miss Dee..." Suiu nodded, peeking out just a bit more while still keeping a firm grip on Hana's shoulders. The musician seemed a bit surprised that what she'd heard were game characters were now real. Not the strangest thing she'd seen, though. Maybe she just hadn't played enough games to recognize any other references...

"Well, I'm glad they're all comfortable, I guess. And don't worry, we'll be fine. This seems like a pretty tame mission." With a nod to Hikari, the map disappeared, although now there was a big red X on all their system maps. "Guess we just head that direction and pick up presents as we go?"

Suiu floated just a few feet away, beginning to assist the blonde with recovering presents, passing them to Hana to be deposited into her inventory. As soon as Hikari called out a threat, though, Suiu let out a gasp and disappeared in a burst of water, a small blue orb rushing towards Hana, vanishing back to safety. "If only she'd be a little more confident when she's not transformed..."

After a sigh, the teen hurried to the closest pile of presents, an array of spectral hands appearing around her. They began to swat at the mischievous little elves that were suddenly popping up everywhere to snatch at the lost gifts, knocking them aside to let Hana collect presents before they were damaged or stolen. "Woah, your island is kinda infested with these things, Dee Dee!"

Picking up a few Packages Dee Dee was ready to get this event underway nice and proper! Even Hana had provided a little secondary goal of finding the treasure she had a map towards, Dee Dee looked at her Mini map when the X appeared "Hey I know that place!" the Word bubble exclaimed as she pointed in the direction of their little side objective "it's one of the locations I was thinking of Building Tomato Tower!" the word bubble went on to explain as she started to lead the way her Friends picking up some Gifts to give to her as they went.

It was then Hikari called out an issue and Dee Dee looked over Hana too called out more of them as the annoying creatures seemed to be trying to destroy or steal the gifts, "I have seen these wandering around before, I didn't know what they were so I left them alone thinking they were new residents, apparently I was wrong!" Dee Dee's Word bubble replied as she shot one with her wand as she picked up another gift.

Kramer meanwhile was swatting another of the creatures away with his tail as he picked up a couple of presents and returned them to Dee Dee, the small creatures not really a threat to the powerful Dragon.

BombDee had also Rushed over to a pile of gifts and looked at them happily hopping up and down in excitement before picking them up, but stopping as she seen some of the elf creatures looking at him expectantly, not moving in on him but clearly waiting for him to turn around, The Waddle-dee instead placed a landmine on the ground then picked up the gifts in one pile and rushed off and the Elves pounced, triggering the Landmine and blowing themselves up as BombDee returned the pile of presents to Dee Dee

At the same time Jimmy was charging through a group of the creatures trying to get at some gifts he was guarding, the ant was out numbered but the elves were more looking to go after the gifts then the one protecting it, so it helped that Jimmy was large and strong enough to knock them aside keeping them clear of the gifts and waiting for Dee Dee to come pick them up.

With the other gifts given to her by Kramer and BombDee safely in her inventory, Dee Dee rushed over to the pile that Jimmy was protecting and she put those away, causing the Elf like creatures to grumble and disperse to look of other gifts to damage or steal "This will get out of hand quickly if we don't thin there numbers..." Dee Dee's word bubble read as she looked around at the blighters being nuisance.

She looked towards Kairi then, and softly chided her summon, "Kairi would learn well from Suiu that confidence, is sometimes, not a good thing. Especially against really strong monsters." Kairi would rub her cheek against hers, as though apologetic. Sometimes, the Angelic Serpent was too headstrong for her own good. Just like herself, she supposed.

Picking up another present, she glanced towards Dee Dee and nodded. "It would be good to pick up presents and head towards the X. Especially if you're familiar with the area. Lead the way." She picked up another and placed it into her inventory. It was then she realized that there were more elves now...

Hana looked over as Dee Dee's various friends dispersed the strange elves, wincing at the explosion one of them caused. Her helping hands were juggling presents before passing them to her to be officially stored away, as the musician moved to rejoin the others on their path towards the treasure map's destination. "There's certainly a lot of them. I bet they all just disappear if we clean up enough presents, though."

She shook her head at the comment from Hikari, while the blue orb peeked out for a moment before disappearing again. "I'll have to show you what she's like when she's actually ready to fight." Hana dashed towards another pile of presents, a larger instrument than before appearing in her hands. Strumming a deep, resonant chord, the air thrummed as multiple hidden elves were sent flying by the wave of pressure, allowing those spectral hands to again begin snatching up unguarded presents.

"Tomato Tower? I think I've heard you mention that before." The group was making fairly good time, all things considered, barely having to slow down to fight off the lower level pests. Although they were about to walk through one of the frozen stretches of the jungle, palm trees vanishing as a frigid lake came into view. Hana tilted her head at the odd sight of a herd of black and silver porcine creatures rolling around in circles across the frozen surface.

After taking the gifts her Friends had recovered into her inventory Dee Dee looked to Hikari as they dealt with the creatures, the good news was they seemed more interested in the gifts then in them, but that was also an issue in and of itself since they needed to gather the gifts, and these little blighters seemed to be enjoying tearing them to pieces or stealing them.

Hana did make a good point though, if they were part of the event that Earth-chan had dropped on them, then they should disappear with the end of the task and event, that was good to know at least! So they just have to focus on the task and get it done and the problem will solve itself. It was perfect, though that still meant they would need to be careful while gathering the gifts since these things were clearly targeting the boxes.

"What worries me is that this seems to easy... the Elf like things seem to be aiming for the gifts and are not that much of a threat... but wouldn't that mean that there might be enemies that focus on the ones collecting the gifts? As they got to the frozen lake Dee Dee spotted the Stonks on the water and she waved to them, one of the stonks noticing Dee Dee and making a call to the others and they rushed over, tackling Dee Dee and snuggling her into the snow, after a moment the stonks cleared off and Dee Dee managed to get back up, "Guys these are the Stonks, I had to deal with them a while back in paris and well I thought they could use a nice home, and they seem to have calmed down quite a lot, they are just really hyper energetic little guys is all!" Dee Dee's word bubble said... as a Stonk gently and affectionately nommed on the word bubble

The Stonks started to dig in a large snow drift, taking out a fair bit of gifts they apparently had hidden there and pushed them towards Dee Dee which she added to her Inventory and rewarded each with a Tomato which the stonks happily ate before starting to gently poke and Hana and Hikari, "don't worry they are friendly!" the Word bubble popped up as Dee Dee looked back at the map she had.

"By the looks of things the map leads us to the other side of the lake! luckily I know a fast way across!" the Word bubble informed them as Dee dee started to pet the Stonks and took out some supplies, skis and harnesses "I was actually planning to try his out in the arctic with the little guys, I have been training them a bit to know what to do thankfully, they are so energetic that they love to help move things it helps them burn through all that hyperactive energy I think? Ether way they are very handy for travel with a wagon or in this case skis, you just have to make sure they have enough space and exercise so they don't get restless, kind of like the Husky Breed of dog really!" she informed them as she popped on the skis and gave a set of skis and a harness to both Hikari and Hana then she held up the harness and two Stonks happily hopped into the harness and off they went dragging Dee Dee on her skis across the ice at a rather ludicrous speed. Her summons quickly follwing suit with the help of Kramer flying them to keep up

Summons were all fearsome in their own way. It was one of the reasons why Dee Dee was formidable when it comes to combat. Her summons are basically various extensions of herself, able to do multiple things at once, in comparison to a regular person. "I don't doubt her abilities in a fight. I've seen Dee Dee's own summons, and they always surprise me with what they can do." Perhaps she needed to get Kairi more immersed in fights herself, though she knew she was being overprotective of her summon.

As they were led to a frozen lake, Hikari smiled. It was beautiful. She was always a winter kind-of person, who enjoyed Christmastime the most. She enjoyed going to Paris, to Barcelona, and especially to New York during her winter break. New York was her absolute favourite because of the festivities that happen there, and the fact that it was far far away from her father.

She picked another gift just before reaching the lake's shore. Kairi was snuggled up fully, though Hikari knew that the Angelic serpent did not mind the cold. She was snuggling because it helped keep her summoner warm, which Hikari was grateful for.

It seems the Stonks were pulling, though it was Kairi who unwrapped herself from Hikari and nodded towards the Stonks. "Ah, it seems Kairi wants to be the one pulling me." She let Kairi take the reins in her jaws. "Let's follow Dee Dee, shall we?" Kairi growled before taking off, following after Dee Dee.

"Something worse than these elves, huh?" Hana would definitely keep an eye out. Although, right now, she was more worried about the strange creatures stampeding towards them. Dee Dee didn't seem concerned, even when they began piling on top of her, so she held off on attacking. "Stonks?" That name seemed familiar.

She looked at Hikari as she commented on the new arrivals. "Did we?" Hana considered it for a moment. "Stonks...in Paris? But those were weird rubbery guys in, like, business suits, right?" Whatever they were, they seemed helpful enough, as they revealed some hidden presents for Dee Dee to collect.

"You've trained them to be sled dogs? Uh, sled pigs?" Hana didn't seem sure about this. Thankfully she did know how to ski, so she wasn't too worried about that part. "If you really think it'll work..." She snapped into the skies, taking hold of the reins. It seemed her wetsuit had wound up being suitable after all, in an odd way!

Soon enough the musician was following Dee Dee, trailing by a good bit as her team wasn't moving nearly as fast. She was also a bit larger then the small summoner. "I guess this'll get us there faster!" They just needed to cross this frozen lake, and then Dee Dee could lead them the rest of the way to their destination.

Dee Dee was glad to see the two were willing to give it a try... well Hana was at least, Hikari once more refused aid from Dee Dee's friends and preferred to use her serpent, the stonks that were eager to help looked a little disheartened but they rebounded quickly by rushing over to Dee Dee and her stonks and joining in on pulling the small girl across the ice causing Dee Dee's speed to increase even more. Though it did leave Dee Dee to wonder why Hikari always refused any help from her friends, Did Hikari not like her friends? She would have to ask at some other time.

As for Hana, she had been unsure but She supposed it might have been because they fought them, so trusting them would be a bit of a step but she did end up agreeing, and so all three were gliding across the ice, With Dee Dee having quite a bit of fun of it, though she noticed something on the far shore and her word bubble popped up when she seen what it was.

"We are going to be fighting when we get to the other side, the Stonkiest and the Maze Guardian are in a fight with what look like evil reindeer!" the Word bubble popped up as Dee Dee's Little Stonks Sped up when they seen the Stonkiest in a fight and rushed to go help their friend, and As Dee Dee got to the other side she hopped off her Skis and kicked the skis into the air to pop them into her inventory along with the harness and rushed to go help the two creatures.

The reindeer seemed to have some of those evil Elves helping them and she realized why they were being so hard pressed, the Stonkiest and the Maze Guardian where protecting a large pile of gifts, and As Dee Dee closed in, the Ancient Swordsman and the Possessed sword swooped in as well breaking up some of the fighting to make it more manageable for Dee Dee, Hikari, and Hana the Little stonks rushing in as well. It was basically a massive brawl of the creatures that wanted to destroy the gifts and stop people from gathering them, and the Dee Dee's monster friends from the guild.

As Kramer, Jimmy and BombDee caught up with her Dee Dee started to glow as she pointed her finger forward and star shot out, that star split into three and each of those smaller stars popped and out came Ton, Geist, and CaveDee, all of them ready for the brawl in question, Dee Dee activating her Over summon ability to help shore up the numbers as the group dived into the combat.
