Hikari watched as Kairi pulled her. She could see determination in the eyes of her summon, and Hikari immediately knew why Kairi had been so headstrong lately. "I apologize for putting you in the sidelines, Kairi. It's not that I don't trust you. Rather, it's that the missions I have been undertaking are just slightly above your current capabilities." She stroked the back of her Angelic Serpent, "Perhaps once you grow a bit more, you can fight alongside me. For now..." She paused, as Dee Dee pointed something out.

It was a brawl. A fight. With...a reindeer? "It seems as though your companions are quick to action, Dee Dee." She nodded towards the small woman, before smiling, "and it looks like you've got some new companions as well. Are those...? Hikari looked closer, and yes, they do look like the miniature version of at least one boss they fought.

"Alright, Kairi, I'll make you a deal. For this fight, I want you to fight in the air. Find opportunities to use your ranged attacks." It would be Kairi's first true battle, and Hikari was nervous. She set that aside from her mind for now, however, and focused on the battle.

Leaping forward, Hikari withdrew both Murakumo and Habakiri. She dashed forward, black wings manifesting behind her as she started flying towards the fight. In a flash, she was within the melee, slashing at two elves as she made her presence known. Kairi took the lead of her summoner and sent a Frigid Blast towards an elf that had tried to get too close to Hikari. Kairi, for the first time in forever, felt needed and useful.

Hana squinted, trying to read Dee Dee's message from this distance. She couldn't really make it out, but it was clear what she was trying to tell them once she got a bit closer. The elves had received some reinforcements, and they seemed to be fighting with more of Dee Dee's companions that lived on the island.

One of them was some sort of moving statue, similar to the ones she'd encountered on Ender Island. Then there was a swordsman, and a flying sword. Hana wasn't sure if the two things were related, but they all seemed to be working together fairly well. Although they appeared to be equally matched by the elves and reindeer, so they likely weren't very high level yet. Unlike the rest of Dee Dee's friends, who had all joined in by the time Hana stumbled out of her skis to head for the battlefield.

"This party's already crazy, but let's make it official!" Hana tossed a shimmering orb into the air, disco ball flashing to life, spinning above the combat zone. The bright lights seemingly disorienting their enemies, as Hikari and Kairi joined the fight as well. The teen decided to stay out of melee for now, supporting the various pets and summons from afar.

Adding to the atmosphere, next a vinyl record was tossed into the air, beginning to rotate as well as a festive holiday tune began to broadcast from Hana's position. Several of the blinded elves began to stumble towards the edge of the fighting, and...they appeared to be dancing? No longer caring about the various creatures rescuing presents from the area they'd been attacking just moments earlier.

With what was now a battle in progress Dee Dee and all her friends started to glow as she activated her Syncrofight ability as well, with the sharing of their senses they started to fight in much better coordination then before, Dee Dee herself had taken out her Whack'em mallet and tossed the Punk Tsunami over to Geist who equipped them and started to fire dark orbs into the enemy, the reindeer attacking the Guardian and the swordsman were his main target as a lot of the elves seemed to busy dancing at the moment.

Kramer swatted another reindeer knocking it down, and let out a roar as he moved to the side of the massive Stonkiest, helping the larger stonk fight the creatures and the smaller stonks all doing the same thing to help the larger stonk attacking the small elves and some reindeer to try to clear the area.

BombDee moved in and attacked another reindeer taking out a leg and making it stumble and fall over Where CaveDee brought his club down to finish it off before nodding and the Two Waddle-dee moved on to continue the fight, tackling a couple of Elves that managed to resist the dancing and were trying to sneak past the group to attack the gifts.

Ton meanwhile rushed through the elves, sticking to the enemy that he knew he could handle, mauling some as he rushed along weaving through the enemies, making sure to sweep through them while letting things happen around him, staying safe through the fact that he could see what was going around him through the sense of others.

Dee Dee meanwhile decided to work on distracting the enemy and she activated her spectral ensemble letting out some phantom popstars that attacking at the enemies to draw their aggro, Dee Dee then dived into the fight herself firing a magic bolt at one target before smacking one with her mallet.

Hikari beamed with pride as Kairi seemed to be handling herself well. Her summon had been flying around and supporting her team mates. Some of the elves had the idea to try and yank her down from her flying state, but to no avail. Every time they try to pounce high, she flew even higher and shot at the reaching elf with her blast, causing it to crash down.

Her attention towards her summon, however, was cut short by a few elves heading towards her. It seems they had not learned their lesson. But before Hikari would engage, she noticed them start to dance. To music. She looked towards Hana, whom she knew was the one doing this, and nodded. It seems her guild leader was in the field.

Leaving them to her guild master, Hikari pounced to the side. More than a handful of elves were doing their best to not engage her. She smiled, knowing that it must be her Halo that was causing them to pause. She took advantage and struck with both of her swords, taking out another one. While most of the elves were left dancing blindly, Dee Dee and Hikari seemed to be focusing on the more dangerous reindeer involved in the battle. "It's about time to end this performance, don't you think?" Hana spun around in place as armor pieces flew out of nowhere to attach to her, fully suited up by the time she ended the spin with a pose.

Inside her helmet, Hana marked all her allies to make sure the next attack wouldn't affect them. "Now just hold still, and..." The shoulder pieces of the armor flipped up, revealing an array of hidden speakers. "Merry Christmas!" Sleigh bells were faintly heard within the cacophony of sound blasted out by her armor, warping and twisting as the sonic energy formed a wide beam that enveloped most of the battlefield.

The energy simply washed over her allies and their companions, only seeming to damage the villainous elves and rabid reindeer. Hopefully this would either wipe them out, or at least weaken them enough for Dee Dee to finish off the stragglers. Then they just needed to hand over all these presents to the honorary elf, and they could collect the hidden treasure!

With the attacks from HIkari and her Pet, As well as Dee Dee and her friends, the Battle that was taking place was going well in their favor, the Reindeer didn't stand much of a chance, and the elves were easily distracted by Hana and the phantoms, then Hana Unleashed a massive wave of music wiping out the remaining Reindeer and the Weaker Elves and leaving the battle field clean of enemies. Dee Dee gave Hana and Hikari a thumbs up as she let her Over Summon and Syncrofight abilities end, which caused her to get a bit wobbly from the toll of Over Summon, but she was thankfully okay, Ending Over Summon did leave them with only Kramer, BombDee and Geist as Ton, CaveDee and Jimmy all returned to the main Guild base for now but the fight was over and there were no more enemies around them at all so that was fine. Dee Dee walked over to the massive pile of Gifts the Guardian and the Stonkiest had been guarding, and Dee Dee gave both a thumbs up and a tomato as a reward... before she was nuzzled into the snow by the Stonkiest who was clearly happy to see her. After climbing out of the Dee Dee shaped hole in the snow drift, Dee Dee collected the gifts and waved to Hana "the X mark is right here by the way!" the Word bubble read as she pointed to the ground where the pile of gifts had been. Everything Seemed to be going well now and not an enemy in sight so they should be fine and best of all they found the mark and got a lot of gifts for the event, "Oh right and give the gifts you have been picking up to me, I have to return them!" In a blink of an eye, the fighting was done. Hikari lifted her swords, before resheathing them once more. She looked towards Hana and Dee, before nodding. It seems that she had been correct. Hana coming into the fray with her music-based abilities made the fight that much easier. She knew that her specialty was one-on-one combat, which is to be expected with her swords. It just amazed her how much her guild master can do. A true inspiration!

Speaking of, she walked towards Dee Dee, grabbing the gifts left behind. She took however much she can and placed them into her inventory, while letting Kairi rest around her. "You did a good job today, my sweet. Perhaps you are ready." She petted the Angelic Serpent on its head, before standing in front of Dee Dee.

"Here you go." She transferred the gifts over to Dee Dee before nodding in appreciation. "Thank you for taking them. I'm sure Santa appreciates it." The existence of Santa can...be real. This was a different world, after all. "And as for the x..." She trailed off, looking around them.

Hana relaxed...armor closing back up, music muffled, then trailing off. She returned the thumbs up to Dee Dee, surveying the scene now that their holiday themed enemies had been vanquished. "Looks like those, uh, piggies really like you!" Hopefully they didn't play too rough. The armored teen headed over as the X's location was pointed out, once all the presents had been collected from on top of it.

"Oh, right, the presents!" She opened up her inventory, emptying it of the mission items, gifts piling up around Dee Dee again. As Hikari asked about the treasure map, she moved to stand over the X, taking the treasure map back out of her inventory. A few moments later Suiu reappeared, now that all the fighting was over. The elemental still hovered near Hana's shoulder, keeping her feet up out of the way of all the roaming pets.

"I think I just open it up again and wait for the mission completion screen to appear." She waited there with the parchment floating, the X on the map pulsing with satisfaction. "So, does Dee Dee deliver our presents? Or do we get to meet Santa?"

Dee Dee happily accepted the gifts they had gathered and she took them and took out her own, and she got the large sack she had gotten to put the gifts into as part of the event, the moment she took out the sack there was a jingle in the air like Christmas bells and Suddenly Dee Dee was a Waddle-dee with a santa hat on, though the small girl didn't seem to notice as she loaded up the sack though after a few boxes she seemed to finally notice and she blinked a second before jumping up and down happily clearly very happy as the Word bubble popped up "It's a Christmas Miracle!!" though she took a second to calm down and started to loadthe gifts again. It was about then that a group of waddle-dee wandered over all of them with little santa hats or reindeer antlers, with a Waddle-doo guard and they started to help her load the sack, the Waddle-doo even had a little glowing red nose.. granted it was worn on the top of it's head, but it was there, and once everything was gathered and put into the Sack Waddle-Dee Dee waved to Hana and Hikari, and her summons got ready to leave with her to go return the gifts though with the sac filled and gifts given to Dee Dee the mission complete popped up and she gave a salute to them "I will go get these back to the boss!" the word bubble popped up and read as she then tried to scoot off. But the sack was to heavy and her feet were just a little blur under her, the Waddle-dee seemed to realize this and they moved to grab it and help lift the large gift heavy sack and together they scooted off, with Dee Dee's friends going along with her to help guard the Waddle-dee and Dee Dee herself. Twice per thread you can aim this into the sky and fire it off, choosing an area nearby to be designated for allied bombardment! This area is twenty meters in radius and lasts for three rounds once chosen. On the first two rounds it is active, all enemies in the area take your PWR-1 Rank, to a max of A, in explosive damage as cannonballs start raining down. On the last, everyone in the area takes your PWR-1 Rank and your MAGI-1 Rank, to a max of A+, and are sent flying 15 meters away from the center of the blast if their PWR is lower than yours as Big Bessie slams onto the battlefield. [break][break] Quicksilver Boots of the Elf These gaudy looking green and red boots have an adorable little curl to the toes and a fluffy edging around the ankle just to make sure you remember your Christmas cheer! While you have these boots equipped you are immune to the effects of any terrain that would cause you to slip or fall and damaging terrain deals 1 rank lower damage to you. Additionally while wearing them your [SPD] is increased by 25% and you may choose to bless your party with the same boost twice per thread for two rounds by jingling the little bells at the toes of these boots! [break][break] Rewards for Dee, Merry Waddle Christmas!: Waddle-Doo Plush A particularly large and incredibly soft plushie made of the finest materials of a waddle-doo wearing a christmas hat and being wrapped up in tinsel. The plushie can be squeezed by anyone at any time to restore 10% of their VIT though this can only be done once per two posts per creature. Alternatively, three times per thread the plushie can be tossed onto the battlefield whereupon it begins to wander around and dance. Anyone within ten meters of the plush with WIL lower than your MAGI will have the irresistible urge to run over and cuddle the plush, gaining the healing but being unable to take any offensive actions that round, while wandering around the healing is also increased to 20% VIT. It can walk around for two rounds before a five round cooldown is required. [break][break] Rewards for Hikari, Merry Sharp Christmas!: Tinseldancer's Mistlefan A large set of mistletoe adorned with ribbons of glittering tinsel that can be flicked out into a wide gleaming fan. However this fan can't be used on its own, instead it has hooks allowing it to be mounted onto a different item. Any item that these fans are hooked onto can be controlled mentally at your SPD rather than requiring your hands or to be on your body. If the item is a Weapon it also boosts your SPD by 10% while you have the weapon equipped, if it's armour or a shield it increases your VIT by 10% and if it's an accessory it increases your WIL by 10%. Once per thread you can also channel your focus into the item, causing the control speed to increase by 1 rank for three posts. You can change which item this is attached to at the start of each thread and it doesn't count towards item limits while attached to another item. [break][break] Bonus Crafting Rewards! Don't eat them all at once!: Sharpened Candy Canes A series of incredibly minty candy canes that seem to have been sharpened almost into prison shanks. Unfortunately condensed, minty sugar doesn't actually make a good weapon. Who knows though, it might make something else even stronger! Or just mintier...
