While some are lucky to get a class that functions well and produces enough to live by, there are some whose choices have been played cruelly by Earth-chan. The Treasure Palace seeks to help those who struggle to effectively use their production classes as a means to gain stability through this classist world that we now have to live in. As the saying goes, a man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Ygdra Elder, founder of Treasure Palace, is one of the many that has struggled to effectively use their class and is driven by this conundrum to ensure that others do not suffer as he has since his arrival to this new Earth. In hopes to gain a niche in this world, to become something more than their class, join us and become a Treasure so wanted by the world, that even Earth-chan will be begging to buy your products. Rules &Regulations - If you wish to apply as a member, simply fill out an application and submit it along with a sample of the best product you have to offer as a production class.
- Under no circumstances shall members of the Guild harm or resort to violence. Disagreements and fights must be discussed like businessmen but if no resolution can be reached, the Guild master can issue a special challenge to both parties.
- Being a production class, you must submit to the Guild at least one item you have accrued using your class to maintain your membership and its perks. If you cannot submit a product within the month, you may pay 20 points in place of the item.
- If you wish to leave the Guild for any reasons, you must pay a fine of 50 points towards the Guild for the services rendered to you whilst part of the Guild.
- After becoming part of Treasure Palace, you will be placed under a non-disclosure agreement that prevents you from leaking any secret information, which will be declared as such by the Guild Master on the Announcement board found in the Guild Base section.
- All the above mentioned rules can be modified and changed by the Guild Master at any given moment. Failure to follow them will result in expulsion from the guild along with the fine.

Speak of the devil, and it will appear. At least this devil had bunny ears and seemed quite friendly with someone they had never met. There was something endearing about Lucy’s tacturn approach. She didn’t say a word and yet by the time Lucy went ahead of him, a holographic message appeared to him notifying the old man of his role. “ I see I have my work cut out for me.”[break][break] He followed suit into the old ruins seeing that Lucy had disappeared into them. It wouldn’t do for her knight in shining armor to fall behind. Ygdra wasn’t sure he was suited to be the protector type but for the sake of the mission, he was the type to do anything to succeed. [break][break] The ruins that Ygdra had discovered were old but for some reason, magic kept it alive. According to his research, it had been owned by some ancient mages who, from sheer dumb unluck, one of their magical creations went berserk. Of course, since this was centuries ago, he didn’t know how true or accurate these recounts were. In fact, he wasn’t sure that they’d find exactly what Lucy needed for a Soul but this was also part of the job. [break][break] Darkness enveloped them both the further they went in the ruins, but thankfully the ruins seemed to respond to their presence, and light seemed to spring from stones, bathing them in an ethereal purple glow. The path revealed them a way deeper into the ruins, though they were going neither up or down. Strangely enough, Ygdra did not recall seeing a roof over the ruins but as they passed the infinitely narrow passage, they would eventually come across an enormous space. [break][break] A library of sorts. There were two floors, all made with stone, and the ceiling more suited to a cathedral. Ygdra whistled at the majesty that was the design and architecture. The same stones that had lit the path also lent their light to the expanse of this place. [break][break] “ We should find what we came here for, Lucy. Shall we look around for any signs of the magical?” [break][break]

Ever since he had opened the shop, and announced to the world what he could potentially do… the flow of income was little less than desirable since Souls were so difficult to come by with having to defeat monsters and having zero combat abilities. He stared at both of them, shifting his eyes between the two hoping to catch a glimpse of their situation. But the only thing he caught was Seika’s slight change in her demeanor. For a second, or maybe more, Ygdra saw her expression of fear, then she forced herself to stand firm. He raised an eyebrow at Noelle, very curious at what just transpired but he had a feeling that Noelle was not the type to share. [break][break] So instead, Ygdra nodded as Noelle crudely but effectively explained their purpose for this mission. He was always up for hunting down monsters since they spawn his much sought after souls and if got three in one fell swoop, he didn’t mind what kind of help he received. He did give Seika a squeeze on the shoulders and a smile of reassurance. The woman who had introduced herself as Jaydie Bluestar seemed to be quite the happy-go-lucky gal. Was it ignorance or just a facade? They’d have to wait and see. No fool was happy to fight a potentially life ending battle unless they had a skill to show for it and something to gain.[break][break] Ygdra fell back, walking behind the group as they moved forward along the shoreside. A monster could potentially show up out of nowhere, but if they were to hasten this mission along, they’d need some sort of bait. Aquatic creatures rarely ventured outside their comfort zone unless they had an advantage outside the water or were extremely desperate. The nondescript shadow with the umbrella was also something that Ygdra wanted to test and if Noelle wasn’t willing to explain much, then he’d just have to experiment with his own body. [break][break] So quietly, Ygdra took off his wooden sandals, and dipped his feet in the seawater. It felt warm against his feet and he slowly submerged his feet until they reached his ankles. He folded his pants up to his knees and started jumping, up and down, as if he had suddenly reverted to childhood. [break][break] “ Wooohooo! This is fun! He truly brought the worst this time, Ygdra thought to himself, overwhelmed by the searing pain in his behind. The old man didn’t even have time to register the signs but the tapeworm had already grown to a rather massive size, and it was nearing the moment where he would have to give birth to it.[break][break]
With one, if not several, infernal screams Ygdra felt the sizable worm finally leave the canals of his behind but he could not see his marvelous creation wiggle its way into the darkness. Ygdra watched in fascination as the entire room suddenly swirled in a whirlpool of colors, twisting the fabric of his perception until it got too much for his eyesight. He briefly closed his eyes but when he opened them the storm of colors were gone, and he was met with pitch blackness. He moved his hands and feet and he could feel their presence, but it also felt like he was moving phantom limbs. All of a sudden, a bright line cast from above dispelled the darkness, yet he still couldn’t see further than the light. Right in front of him, was a green podium decorated with golden question marks here and there. The only button on top of the podium was black and had a golden question mark on it. [break][break]
“Are you… curious?” A voice echoed from the void. “Perhaps… interested?!” [break][break]
“Possibly. I’d be far more curious about this Q&A we’re having.” Ygdra responded evenly. “Ask away.”[break][break]
A sonorous laughter echoed through the still darkness. “My, oh my. Aren’t we in a rush? Fine, fine. I’ll spare you the details and get right on to it.”[break][break]
A little panic escaped Ygdra’s voice. “What details are一”[break][break]
“For today’s topic, we’ll be discussing the dumbest ways to die!”[break][break]
Ygdra sighed. It was rather difficult to be in a position of lesser power, which is why he needed to climb up ranks as soon as possible. The topic at hand made his right eyebrow shoot up. “How will that test my IQ, pray tell?”[break][break]
The voice clicked its tongue. “Nuh-uh. I ask the questions here and you answer, my dear customer. So here we go!”[break][break]
There was a moment of silence before a much deeper, booming voice echoed in his head. He couldn’t tell whether the sound was coming from the outside or resonating in his skull because he felt pressure that you could only feel deep beneath the sea. “What happens to a body if it falls from a very, very high place?”[break][break]
The question was rather simple for the very first round but Ygdra was grateful that the pressure in his head was gone. “Depending on the height of the fall and the mass of the body, certain death is ensured. The body would be subject to deformity and destruction. From deceleration and the sudden impact would cause…” Ygdra’s voice gave away as a weird sensation overcame his body, like a sudden imbalance of a kin to a fall. “ Excuse me. The impact would cause intense vibrations that may break cellular tissue, rupturing the body and organs conseー” His body lurched and he dropped to his knees, one arm on the podium for support. Droplets of sweat trickled down his head, covering his clothes, as if he’d done any type of physical activity. More importantly, the searing pain that blazed across his body was amazing and even though he remained silent, his body was screaming for relief. Ygdra clenched his jaws so tight, he bit his lower lip, drawing blood that trickled down his chin. Ygdra’s gaze remained cold and unyielding, but now he understood the game. After a few seconds, the pain subsided and he felt every muscle in his fiber loosen up. [break][break]
“That’s right! You’re very smart aren’t you, Mr. Elder?!” The voice rang in sing-song arrogance. “ Ready for the next question?”[break][break]
“Ha!” Ygdra said weakly, using the podium to stand up and gain confidence. “Do your worst.”

It wasn’t like he was stuck, but all that hustle and bustle and no Souls to show for it yet had him weighing down like a haunting of an earthbound spirit. A message from one of his first, potential customers had him jumping up as soon as that message popped up in the system. He did understand that there would be lackluster orders since he’d just opened up shop, but if he received more and more requests, and attempted more missions, the Souls and eventually the points would just naturally flow. So he accepted the requests and sent the customer details of where they would meet up.[break][break] For today’s menu, the requester wanted a Soul that was related to a monster with high affinity for magic so after some very thorough research and adding the relevant details of their abilities, levels and etc, he decided the best hunting ground for this customer would be the Devil’s Triangle. Considering his upgrades, Ygdra surmised that he wouldn’t struggle as much with this level of danger compared to his past missions. The Devil’s Triangle did hold some charm, and for a naturalist like, coming in contact with the more mystical and magical side of things was a nice endeavor in and of itself. [break][break] Also known as the Arcane Archipelago, the set of islands were set afloat by the mystical energies that were also responsible for the disparity of the space-time continuum. They called them Astral Portals; rifts in the fabric of reality that literally transported someone to a new reality. He had experienced the capability of the system but going through one portal would probably be a titillating experience. But that would be for future endeavors.[break][break] The sky was adorned by a perpetual purple, red and yellow; stuck in twilight, preventing Ygdra from knowing whether it was day, night time, or somewhere in between. Considering the islands were so high, the temperature was just the right amount of chill. Still, he could feel it creeping in his bones as he made his way to the meeting place. It was on one of the remote islands, but one that had lots of ruins of temples, destroyed by either time or some bygone product of history. Plus, according to the information he’d gathered, there was bound to be some mystical creature out here somewhere. [break][break] Ygdra arrived at the destination and sat on a nearby rock just a few meters away from the entrance of an old, ruined temple, with his fan slowly giving him a gentle breeze. He wore his usual attire; green samue over his black haori and per japanese standards, he had geta sandals.[break][break] “ How time flies by…” Ygdra commented absently, though he kept his eyes on his surroundings. IntroductionThose who seek a new way to live shall find a Torii gate adorned with flowers and a myriad of creeping vines. It's never in the same place, but should you find one and cross the threshold, you'll enter the realm of the Soul Pagoda. This is where, the renowned Dr. Ygdra Elder, can make use of his services to imbue [Souls] onto his dear customers! Please read on to see how it all works. What are Souls?[Souls] are a class item exclusive to the class Biomancer, and is the primary ingredient that Ygdra uses to create new abilities based off the chosen aspect and soul or add new effects. Whatever the System demands since at the moment, Ygdra's core is very System-centric and the results are determined by it. These [Souls] are acquired if and when Ygdra helps defeat a Staff-Generated Monster in any thread. So long as Ygdra participates in the fight in any form, and the spawn is defeated, he will be awarded a [Soul]. Why would I want to buy a Soul?Compared to the availability of the Forge and other classes that can get you a skill or an ability, the Biomancer class can modify almost everything about you, and you can even hunt for a specific soul if you don't see one you like. The cost is a lot cheaper than most classes too, specially since it can affect a wider range of aspects as you will see below. Please note that whether you get an additional effect or a new ability is entirely up to the system. How does it work?The Biomancer has different core abilities called Tampering Methods that, after paying the cost of modification and a soul to the system, a new effect or ability will be added as a separate tag. There some requirements that must be followed: - ITEM [50 pts][break] When a Soul is tampered into an item, Ygdra may create a new item or add an effect based on the Soul. Items that have been [Forged] cannot be tampered with as of the moment. Using another Soul on the item will destroy its effects.
- SKILL[50 pts][break] When used as on a Skill, Ygdra may create a new effect or simply add a secondary effect. It doesn't work yet on anything with the [Guided] tag.Using another Soul on the item will destroy its effects.
- ABILITY[100 pts][break] When Ygdra infuses a Soul directly to a character, the Soul latches onto one of their Class Abilities, either granting a new effect or adding a secondary effect based on the Soul. As of the moment, the ability is chosen at a random due to the level of skill needed. This can only be done once per character and the ability can be purged at any time without consequences.
- PET/SUMMON[200 pts][break] A new creature may be born after being imbued with a Soul. A creature born this way may not receive another Soul and the changes are permanent.
Once tampered, the specific item, skill, pet or ability will the gain the [X Soul] where X is the name of the creature from which it was extracted. What Souls do you have?As of the moment, Ygdra has no Souls yet. But along with the obtained Souls in the future, you may reserve a specific type of Soul once Ygdra has obtained it or you may thread with Ygdra and hope a staff-made monster spawns that is to your liking! Ygdra smiled, both out of interest and amusement. The girl’s inquisitiveness was rather endearing as not many strangers would suddenly take interest in his hobbies, and interests. Many would think a naturalist’s job to be quite mundane, having to stay at all hours, observing the lives of other creatures for the sole purpose of research. He did chuckle at her notion of a naturalist’s job demeaned to a vlogger. “Oh dear, heavens. It would be amusing if I had just spent my days rotting behind a computer. I study, and intend to continue studying, the relationship of man and nature. Now, I guess it would be the relationship between Earth-chan and man. So if I were to post about it, it would be something along the lines of ‘Save man from Earth-chan. Needless to say, this kind of job requires a more general knowledge of nature and fauna and a whole lot of traveling”. [break][break]

Ygdra made a motion to follow him. There was no set path to their destination, just soft, slippery ground covered in the foliage of dead leaves, and dotted trees. With a little bit of effort and a more struggle to maintain a steady pace, they had reached a darker part of the forest where the canopy was thicker, letting only a little bit of light through its cracks. The trees here were denser and larger, and by that notion, there should’ve been more activity in the forest, but instead it was dead quiet; only when soft winds blew and did the leaves rustle would anyone feel like they were in here. “As you can hear, there’s much less activity here than where we were previously so my spidey senses tell me something isn't right here .” He would urge her to come closer. “ There isn’t much information on the creature as it has remarkably avoided numerous attempts at detection and reports say it’s very fast. But my own research tells me it’s long, and multi-pedal, though I confer its behavioral patterns it may be something similar to a house centipede or a millipede. Only Earth-chan knows what kind of monstrosity this would be…” [break][break]
Ygdra stopped for dramatic effect but urged Faith to crouch down. “And for the piece de resistance… here we have footprints!” The darkness of the forest would have made it difficult to see them, but the way that the leaves parted and their disturbance showed two lines winding around and further into the dark forest. “It is amazing how easy these were to find… as if taunting us when no one else could find traces of it before…” [break][break]

Well, to be precise there was only one left. He was glad that Mr. Beast and Seika were so reliable in their earnest pursuit of completing the task, watching Seika take her bird down with a swiftness akin to a dancing swallow in riding the wind currents. It seemed that the momentum of the fight now rested within the shoulders of this old man, and Yygdra sighed. He was so hoping for his two capable teammates to take them all down, but he also knew he needed to put his weight in. After all, Ygdra did tell them he would try to carry his weight and thankfully, the load had lessened. [break][break]
“Oh, what a glorious ability your pet Natrion has Mr.Beast!” He said gleefully as the mighty sea serpent transformed into a bladed weapon, one that coiled much like a serpent, twisting until the tip curved into a hook. The moment he picked it up holographic panels popped up, commenting on the weapon’s abilities and names. “Tidepool Ripper, huh. Very nice.”[break][break]
Now that the battlefield was clear and Mr. Beast and Seika were busy with their prized birds, Ygdra stood face to face against a tattered, alone adversary. He still felt somewhat lacking despite the weapon’s buffs, the buffs from the passive and his own abilities. Ygdra smiled at his own folly; his class wasn’t made for fighting, yet it had been designed in a way that it was required. With this fight, he’d finally be able to modify things with the Souls he’d gained from these birds. [break][break]
While Ygdra had no skills in swordsmanship whatsoever, he did witness Seika’s marvelous swordplay first hand and ran up to the bird in a low stance, with the Tidepool Ripper on his left. Just so, the system had also informed him that his skill [Caduceus] had finished its cool down. On his right hand, he summoned his ability but instead of a beam, he focused it on his fingertips, generating a much smaller orb with a swirling helix too. The riding bird dash forward kicking up a storm as it also prepared to kick Ygrda into tomorrow. But Ygdra was prepared to face the bird head on. His speed had caught up to the bird’s with the passive he had gotten from them, and then the effect of Mr. Beast’s item had buffed it considerably.[break][break]
Ygdra swung Tidepool Ripper, summoning Mr. Beast’s Natrion into the field. Coated by his ability Caduceus, the serpent would be healed, reducing the damage the Riding Bird’s kick would have done to it, and together, they proceeded to gang up on the bird. He knew they only had to knock it down, which is why instead of using the blade, Ygdra applied Seika’s swordsmanship an slapped the hell out of the bird’s face, whole Natrion took its queue to attack the bird’s legs, messing up its balance and finally bringing the bird down. He let go of Tidepool Ripper, which disappeared and after petting the snake, Ygdra let it go back to Mr. Beast. [break][break]
He had a very creepy smile on his face as he bent down and neatly placed the collar on the bird. As he heard the system confirmation and the click, the bird stood up as if it hadn’t received severe injuries and gave Ygdra light head butts as if asking to be pet. “There, there.” He gave it a light pat and urged it to join the other three.[break][break]
“And I guess that’s it.” He said with a sigh of relief as he also joined his team members. “ Wait. We have to get them over to the farmer’s residence…”
