A blonde old man with a rather charming, if not creepy, smile appears to greet you as you cross the threshold of the temple. Surrounded by the lush greenery of rich plants, and lit magically by lamps hanging off the canopy of trees and other flora, it gives off a rather mystic but relaxing feeling. The fresh scent of grass and sweetness of the morning dew fill the air. Sunlight barely breaks through, as though you've entered a completely different realm.

"Please rest your souls here whilst you make your request or feel free to walk about and peruse our lovely store! I apologize for the scarcity of our items as, as you know, souls are hard to come by!"

Those who seek a new way to live shall find a Torii gate adorned with flowers and a myriad of creeping vines. It's never in the same place, but should you find one and cross the threshold, you'll enter the realm of the Soul Pagoda. This is where, the renowned Dr. Ygdra Elder, can make use of his services to imbue [Souls] onto his dear customers!

Please read on to see how it all works.


[Souls] are a class item exclusive to the class Biomancer, and is the primary ingredient that Ygdra uses to create new abilities based off the chosen aspect and soul or add new effects. Whatever the System demands since at the moment, Ygdra's core is very System-centric and the results are determined by it. These [Souls] are acquired if and when Ygdra helps defeat a Staff-Generated Monster in any thread. So long as Ygdra participates in the fight in any form, and the spawn is defeated, he will be awarded a [Soul].


Compared to the availability of the Forge and other classes that can get you a skill or an ability, the Biomancer class can modify almost everything about you, and you can even hunt for a specific soul if you don't see one you like. The cost is a lot cheaper than most classes too, specially since it can affect a wider range of aspects as you will see below. Please note that whether you get an additional effect or a new ability is entirely up to the system.


The Biomancer has different core abilities called Tampering Methods that, after paying the cost of modification and a soul to the system, a new effect or ability will be added as a separate tag. There some requirements that must be followed:

• ITEM [50 pts][break] When a Soul is tampered into an item, Ygdra may create a new item or add an effect based on the Soul. Items that have been [Forged] cannot be tampered with as of the moment. Using another Soul on the item will destroy its effects.
  
• SKILL[50 pts][break] When used as on a Skill, Ygdra may create a new effect or simply add a secondary effect. It doesn't work yet on anything with the [Guided] tag.Using another Soul on the item will destroy its effects.
• ABILITY[100 pts][break] When Ygdra infuses a Soul directly to a character, the Soul latches onto one of their Class Abilities, either granting a new effect or adding a secondary effect based on the Soul. As of the moment, the ability is chosen at a random due to the level of skill needed. This can only be done once per character and the ability can be purged at any time without consequences.
• PET/SUMMON[200 pts][break] A new creature may be born after being imbued with a Soul. A creature born this way may not receive another Soul and the changes are permanent.

Once tampered, the specific item, skill, pet or ability will the gain the [X Soul] where X is the name of the creature from which it was extracted.


As of the moment, Ygdra has no Souls yet. But along with the obtained Souls in the future, you may reserve a specific type of Soul once Ygdra has obtained it or you may thread with Ygdra and hope a staff-made monster spawns that is to your liking! Please contact in Discord via PM or through the #plotting. If you decide to thread with Ygdra, you may choose to make it a mission or simply thread. First come first serve but you may reserve and we can thread as much as you want! I'll also notify you if Ygdra acquires a Soul that may interest you if you make a reservation.
