Hikari listened to the woman. She understood her, understood where she was coming from. In fact, more people would be thinking like her. There was an inherent good in humanity. The need to belong, to keep everyone safe, to take care of one another. After all, it was this inherent good which led to the creation of a community, and then later, society as we know it. Villages, towns, and cities would not have come to pass without this inherent need to help and support one another.

She turned her attention back to Dee Dee, and nodded. "There is only so much that we can do for these people. Intimidation. Threats. They will only go so far. These kinds of people, they will push and push..." She paused, unsure how to continue, and yet she did anyway. "i will make the move if you cannot. I will bear the burden, if I must." it was a resolve which she was adamant about.

Listening to Dee Dee's next few words, Hikari immediately knew what would come to pass. She held her sword, angry for the woman for what had happened. "We will plan." Was this a targeted attack? "These person, from what we know they are strong, but together, we more than likely outlevel them" She paused, thinking for a moment. "It must be an ambush. One that we set up for them." Take them by surprise, give them no recourse.

Hikari nodded at Dee Dee's explanation. But of course, there were those who were more comfortable with this game-like world would somehow have an advantage compared to everyone else. And the jargon they used would be quite alien to others, and of course, those who felt like they needed to get ahead would not even stop and think about helping others understand this world. No, they would rather look towards their own growth.

"I think what you're doing is very honourable, Miss Dee Dee" She nodded, herself not really one to take time to explain things to people. Though, to be fair, she would be more than happy to help others, but only if asked. She was not the altruistic type, to be fair. "And if you ever need help, please don't hesitate to ask. I would be more than happy to contribute to your guidebook with information and knowledge I have gathered."

She turned her attention away for a moment, mulling over what the woman said about their conundrum. It seems as though that they weren't ready yet to tackle this issue. Hikari was one who was very decisive. She knew what she would do to the ringleader if she ever met him. But that doesn't mean Dee Dee would not try to stop her. In fact, she can bet on that fact. The woman was too merciful for her own good, and one who had an unerring moral compass to boot.

"The problem is, if we do not stop them, they might escalate their activities. I am not willing for this to weigh on my conscience if they ever come to the point where they hurt people and we could've done something about it." Her response was brief, and she meant every word. "Could you face that, if that ever happened? Knowing that we could have done something, but did not?" Hikari turned to Dee Dee, curious about her answer.

Hikari bowed towards the woman who approached her respectfully.

"Miss Akane, it is lovely to see you." She noticed the sword stabbed to the ground, and commented on it. "Oh, you have a fascinating weapon there, Miss Akane. Are you a purveyor of swords, perhaps?" Hikari took her sword, and held it out, unsheathing it slowly, "I got these recently, and it's been quite the weapon." Though Shotsuren, Daitsuren, and Kenmyoren were all well-made swords, Murakumo was a cut above them.

She turned her attention away from the swords, and towards the portal. From inside, she could hear whispers, but more than that. For some odd reason, the energy feels malevolent. Almost demonic.

"We are supposed to also observe the various species in this new...place. And from what I can feel," She paused as she took a few steps closer to the portal. "I feel as though there is something demonic within this portal. Mayhaps we are dealing with something more sinister than just ghosts?" Hikari turned back to Akane, and then started forwards. "I suppose let's get this started." She went through the portal.

The sword she received from Jeanne had been a masterpiece, and while she wanted another piece of item that was as well-made as Murakumo, she was hoping that this mystery box might at least be kind to her in some respects.

At the mention of Hana's guild, Hikari perked up. "Oh, you mean ANTHEM?" She smiled at Dee Dee, before nodding. "I am a part of that guild now, though I am not one to be a part of any printing press." She did not have the skill, nor the interest to do so. No, she was the action-oriented kind of person. One who would take on missions, rather than stay indoors and make their fortune that way.

She turned her attention to her inventory a moment, looking to see if the guidebook she had been provided was still there. It was. This was a new one, of course, and from what she understood, it was now something that was a part of her class.

"It's good of you to be doing this." She nodded at the woman once more, with respect this time. "Not a lot of people would take the time to do these for others." Hikari thought that this was something she would be doing as well. It turns out she was just slightly more selfish than she thought she was. Her own survival and growth came first, though she did not agree with those who would take advantage of and use others, especially for selfish gains. Hardwork and dedication, those were the tenets she believed in for the most part.

"Speaking of," She continued, "Have you...thought about what we should do with that little problem of ours." Hikari looked up, gazing at the open sky for the first time since climbing this high. "Those who prey on the weak...we must not let them go unpunished for too long."

Hikari turned her attention to the message she received. It looks like Jeanne-Marie, the guild leader of E2C, seems to be having some sort of a sale. Mystery Boxes, it seems like. She hummed, thinking it over, before making her way towards where the little guidl leader said she would be.

Taking her time, she mulled over what she would purchase, if she would, indeed purchase something. It was something she might need to mull over as she peeked at her current items. There was also a possibility that she might get a skill, which was something she would not mind. Though she would much rather items. Truthfully, she knew that her class relied upon items to increase her potential, which she only realized as much after obtaining Murakumo.

The mission objective is to assemble a team of skilled adventurers to investigate the cause behind the surge in spirit manifestations. That was what she had been tasked with searching for, studying, doing something about, and then rebalancing what was once balanced. Or so, that was what she had been told. This new place, this new area, it had been a wonder when she had first stepped into it. This mission was just another way for her to continue her path of growth, though she had started to lag behind as she had recently made quite a few expensive purchases. One of which she wasn't sure if it was worth it just yet.

Tying Murakumo properly to her waist, she stood by what seemed to be a portal waiting for her partner. She had been told by the system that this would be where she and her mission partner would be starting the said mission. From her vantage point, she could see wisps of mist coming out of the portal. In fact, she could also hear voices echoing throughout the area, some of which were quite terrifying to the ear.

It was good that Hikari was not easily afraid, and she lacked the care for ghosts and such. Leaning back on a tree, she waited for her partner for this mission, eager to get it started.

Hikari hummed to herself, thumbing the hilt of Murakumo as she settled on an even gait. She had been roaming the streets closest to ANTHEM's base. She had been told by someone that the base itself within Tokyo was a safezone. This meant that this would be the only place she would be confident in roaming around in without the need for her subclass' aura and her swords at-the-ready. But then again, she did not have a choice when it comes to her swords. They were, after all, constantly floating around her regardless of how she felt.

Looking around, a small amount of nostalgia hit her. This was not one of the places to which she held much memories of. However, the outline of the city yonder certainly gave her a sense of longing. She knew those skylines, she knew those buildings, and she certainly knew how it felt to be on top of one of them.

Her reminiscing, however, was put on hold as she found herself staring at what seemed to be figures coming closer and closer. Hikari trusted that the place was secure. After all, she wasn't too far away from the base just yet. However, Hikari was not one who put things to chance. Without pause, Murakumo was at-the-ready to strike, while her other swords, while still sheathed, were already aimed towards the various figures.

"I hope you are friend, and not a foe." She spoke in a calm voice, face still smiling as she felt her muscles tense, ready to fight at a moment's notice.

Hikari watched as the little girl did something with the system, and out popped what looked like a capsule. Passing it to her, Hikari took what appeared to be a sword in the palm of her hands. She did not hesitate to read what the item did, and what she saw made her eyes pop metaphorically. This was nothing less than a mythical sword, one that she knew would serve her well. In fact, it would certainly serve her well with this current mission of theirs.

"I shall make sure to pay you 580 points, as per your previous statement." Hikari bowed low, and made sure to set aside the amount. It was a quick one-two with the system, which would then be transferred later.

Looking on, she found herself watching what looked to be creatures that did odd things. Even before she could respond, her own guild leader seemed to be already on the move. Hikari copied her motions, and drawing Murakumo as she entered the fray. She rushed towards the closest creature, attempting to cut through it with her new sword.

That wasn't all, however. As she descended towards the battlefield, her aura was slowly emanating from her. With how close she was to both creatures, they should both now have at least one stack of [Delirium] on them, while her target, if her attack hits, would not have two stacks.

Hikari wasn't surprised at all that the woman was doing something for everyone else. Making this map was certainly not for Dee Dee. After all, she seems to have her summons, and their versatility made it so that she did not really need maps. Especially more so with the fact that she had a flying summon, whom she could more than likely ride through the skies with. That made everything much easier when it comes to travel. She, however, still needed to traverse everything by land.

She took the tomato, and smiled thankfully, "Thank you for the snack, Miss Dee Dee." She took a small bite of the tomato, before nodding to the woman. "It is unsurprising that you are doing this for the sake of others." The woman was always looking after others, especially those who are in need. "Does this map update directly to another's guidebook, by chance?" She asked curiously, though she really did not need the map herself.

Taking a moment to enjoy the sight, she then continued, "Are you here because of the rumours?" Turning back to the Dee Dee, she continued, "I heard from the grape vine that there was something brewing in this corner of the world. An event of sorts, perhaps?" She turned her attention towards the city, before shaking her head. "After Paris, I wouldn't be surprised that this was the case." She shrugged, waiting for Dee Dee's response. Perhaps she had heard something from others as well.

The Devil's Triangle. Or at least, that was what it was called now. It was once the Bermuda Triangle, as she had been told. The place was once one which harboured mystery, wonder, and death. And now, it still retains that, and more. What once was just a place filled with water and never-ending storms was now filled with floating islands and the like.

Hikari flexed her fingers, before sheathing her new sword and starting her climb. She was told that there was a town just above this floating island. Perhaps it was fact that this place was mystical and mysterious that drew people to it. There was also the fact that there were NPCs stationed here, as well as people who have willingly decided to stay here to settle down. Hikari could never judge those people. After all, she herself was hoping to settle in a monster-infested zone.

She made her last leap, the wind helping her reach the highest platform. She gripped Murakumo steadily, with it making sure that she could not be targeted by anything that might come out and ambush her ascent. Looking forward, she found herself staring at the outline of a town. This floating island was huge, making it one of the largest she had seen in a while.

That wasn't all that she saw. "Dee Dee," She started, waving at the woman. "It's good to see you out and about. Were you heading for that town as well, yonder?" She pointed towards the town, before smiling at the woman. They had somewhat of an unfinished business, though she might leave that for later discussions.

Hikari grabbed the returning sword in one hand, and immediately lashed it out once more at the one that she had knocked over. This time, the sword hit its mark, striking clean through the skull of the creature, killing it in an instant. Hikari wasted no time, immediately looking around searching for her next opponent.

One appeared just to her right, and without pause, she flicked her second sword, Daitsuren, forward. Once more, one of her swords sailed through the air and landed through the creature's belly, impaling it. Hikari did not bat an eye, realizing that this one was within her zone, and she now had two stacks of [Delirium] on it.

Clenching her fist, nightmarish claws ripped through the creature's chest, immediately severing it into two distinct pieces of its former self.

She then turned towards Alessandra and responded, "No, not quite." Almost, but not really. "Not a princess at all." She smiled at the woman. "And I suppose you are correct there, miss Akane." She acquiesced, before turning her attention to the last creature trying to climb aboard her side of the ship.

Hikari smirked as they passed the finish line, and ran straight towards a heart that was shining in the sunlight. It sparkled enviously, and Hikari could not help but admire its shine. She did not even stop, and instead kept going at the translucent object. Until they collided with it...without any effect whatsoever.

She looked around, and realized that the whole car was now shimmering with magical power. She could feel its hum, its power thrumming through every surface. Hikari could only smile as she realized that this was supposed to be their reward. Not that it meant anything? At least, not until the system told them what it was. Perhaps it was only an effect, after all.

"It was good teaming up with you once more, Miss Akane." She nodded to her passenger. "I will be heading towards another challenge here soon. This race has my heart and adrenaline going!" Hikari shifted the gears, and turned to Akane. "You are more than welcome to stay, or head off. Your choice."

At the mention of a motorcycle, Hikari gritted her teeth. Her car was fast, yes, especially as it seems to be borrowing from her own stats. But the challenge was outmaneuvering a motorcycle. After all, the slim and sleek design of motorcycles made them the natural speedsters.

"Take care of them when they come close. I'll get us to the finish line." Hikari drove towards the finish line, though the straight road must not be as safe as it look. As she took the first slight turn, she was proven correct.

A large arm slammed down from out of nowhere. Looking up, Hikari realized that it was a huge ape that was terrorizing the track. Hikari cursed underneath her breath, and started evasive maneuvers. She slide through and underneath a large overhanging branch, obscuring her from the giant's view. She took to the side, and tried to be as inconspicuous as possible.

Hikari could feel the motorcycle coming in close, and she could only hope that Akane would deal with them. They were neck in neck...

Whatever Akane did, it certainly did its job. Hikari nodded towards the woman as she engaged the race track once more, especially as a new challenge loomed towards them.

What Hikari saw was a maze. Well, less of a maze, and more of a mushroom mine field. As she watched some of the racers go through, she realized that the mushrooms acted as barriers, and a slow mist was rolling through. It was a challenge of the senses. Hikari knew that she couldn't just power through this one. No, she had to be more careful.

"Hold on, miss Akane. This can become very bumpy very quick." She announced, before she started to slow down. Instead of speeding through, she realized that it would be better to take things just slightly slow. The risk of crashing was too high. Although...

Hikari realized she can do something after all. With a flick of her fan, she sent Shotsuren forward. She would follow the sword as it probed the way for them. Every time the sword hit something, it would find a different path, and Hikari would then follow it. All around them, she could hear crashes and screams, and the occasional explosion that would make the air feel hot around them. However the mist did not alleviate.

Until finally..."We're finally out of that mist." She sighed in relief as the mist dissipated around them. But now, onto the next challenge. "Keep an eye out for people who might jump us while I figure out this next challenge." The mist was still close by, and Hikari knew that there were those who would take advantage of the situation.
