Hikari was not one to waste time. She unsheathed Murakumo once more, and let herself descend towards the lead singer of the zombie musical group.

The move had her plunge down towards the zombie. Gravity did the rest for Hikari as she crashed into the stage. The explosion created a dust cloud, and Hikari smirked inwardly. However, as the dust settled, she realized that the zombie had moved away! Hikari frowned at that, but did not hesitate. With a swipe of her hand, Daitsuren flew forward, finally nicking the the lead singer on its shoulders.

Exploding into action, Hikari brought Murakumo to fore. The distraction from Daitsuren gave her the chance to finally take a chunk off the lead singer, her sword cutting through her opponent's torso. She pivoted slightly, sending Kenmyoren forward, slicing through the zombie's neck, taking it off in one go.

The fight finally dying down, Hikari found herself staring at the slowly dying horde in front of her, before nodding towards Dee Dee. "It looks like we're finally done here." She flicked Murakumo, and the sword sheathed itself back. Her three swords, however, continued to float around her defensively. "Let's see what reward we get from this mission." She turned towards the exit, and made her way out.

The challenge was the fact that their target was going going upwards. Was she going to be tricked into going into a high space, and then getting knocked from that height? Hikari herself did not have a skill that would allow her to fly. And certainly not with her car. No, she couldn't risk her life, and that of her passenger.

Instead, Hikari turned to Akane. "We will follow on the ground, and then find opportunities to attack the rail." Just as she finished, Hikari realized that the person that the rail was attacking was attacking back. "Speak of the devil. Heads up!" Hikari pointed towards the rail. "Perfect opportunity now to attack." She herself sent Shotsuren forward, attacking the rail from ranged.

However, even as they got closer, Hikari's aura should now start to effect the rail. The Terror Field should have at least two stacks now from her core, bringing down it's attack power, and increasing the attack power of everyone else on the rail by 10%. She just hoped everyone can take advantage of it.

Hikari looked towards the riddle, and read:

A riddle indeed. She looked towards the choices, and found herself laughing inside. This was just a bit too easy. But of course, she was sure this was just the start. There were more riddles as they progressed through the track, and she was sure it would get progressively more difficult.

"Hold on." She would announce as she started to make her decision. But of course, there were others who were now following her. Perhaps these easy riddles were made to weed out the worst of the worst. "This is going to be a bit bumpy." She started towards the wrong tunnel, before quickly swerving away. Those who were too close to her tail would have little recourse but to continue forward as Hikari's car almost tipped over from her sharp turn.

"Teapot. Easy." She smiled to herself, before heading towards another car. "Another target for you, miss Akane. Be careful, I can see that they have some sort of projectile weapon."

Hikari's expectations were met with Dee DEe looked towards the crowd of zombies, and engaged them full force. This was the best way for them to divide and conquer. Hikari prided herself in combat, especially as she trained herself throughout these past few weeks. And truly, her skills have improved leaps and bound. And she knew it better than anyone that she thrived in smaller fights, rather than large ones.

She turned her attention to the zombies in front of her, and smiled. She could feel the buffs from her subclass' passive fueling her speed. It seems that many of the zombes were now affected by her debuff, Delirium. And it fueled her speed and defense quite a bit. It was, however, her speed that mattered the most. After all, it made fighting at melee much easier for her.

In a flash, she immediately engaged one of her skills: Tsukimi. A burst of moonlight, a bright flash, and suddenly, there were two Hikari's. One of them pale and looked as though it were a shadow of the moon. Hikari smiled, and her twin smiled with her. She raised her hand, and it raised its hand alongside. The battle began.

With a whip of her hand, Daitsuren flew towards one of the band members. A second one rushed towards it as well, piercing it both on the forehead. The force brought the creature down to its knees, before it crumpled. The second one did not hesitate and started sprinting towards Hikari. The woman merely stepped aside, and slashed at the zombie's head with Murakmo, severing its head from its body, while her twin shoved a copy of Shotsuren through its belly, endingt he poor sod.

The final one, the band leader as it looked to be, screeched out loud and rushed towards Hikari, teeth baring menacingly. Hikari poised herself, and with a flick of her fan, sent Kenmyoren towards the creature. Surprisingly, it missed! Hikari's eyes narrowed, before she had to make the decision to sheathed Murakumo and use the broken speakers as a way to jump out of the way of the barreling zombie lead singer. Her copy did the same, though now they were in a better position to strike their would-be final blow.

Dee Dee was making work, and her summons were right there with her. Hikari knew the best way to do this, and it involved her sheathing Murakamo back into its sheathe. She made no sound as she traced her path forward. There was only one way in, though the walls would make it easier for Hikari later on. She knew that her sword would allow her to achieve physical feats she would have not been able to achieve prior.

When provided the signal, Hikari launched forwards.

"Dee Dee, all of the zombies here are now taking more damage, and will deal less damage due to my debuff. Cut them down as best as you could." She nodded towards the woman, before sprinting quickly. She rushed through the door, before taking off towards one of the walls. Immediately, she stepped up one, two, three, before leaping off in an eagle-like fashion. Then, she started to glide.

The distance to the stage was close, well, closer now as she glided her way down. As she moved, her swords followed her. She knew her targets now.

Without even landing, her swords were already on the move. Shotsuren shot towards the first speaker, stabbing through and destroying the piece of electronics. Daitsuren also shot forward, along with Kenmyoren, destroying the second and the third speaker. The final speaker, the largest, Hikari personally destroyed as she finally unsheathed Murakumo, and stabbed through the largest speaker. It fizzled and exploded, and Hikari used the force to propel herself down to the stage. Mission accomplished, the music finally stopped. But now, she was surrounded by the three zombie band members.

Hikari smiled at the little girl. A reward for their services? But of course she would take that. Hikari was not one to shy away from things given to her for her services, especially if this item was something that was both rare and powerful. The question was, however, how does a girl like this have such a capability? Perhaps it was her business, and her class, in tandem? That seems most likely to be sure.

"I shall take you up on that offer, miss Jeanne." She bowed towards the girl once more, before taking a look around. Paris was certainly like it was when she had been. But then again, this was an area she was not familiar with. She resprted to looking back towards her own interface, and making sure that she had the necessary items she might need for this task. One was never overprepared, after all.

After getting all of her items at-the-ready, Hikari turned to Jeanne. "My name is Hikari. We are at your service today, miss." How could she have forgotten her manners. "We are new recruits to the guild, and I hope we can be of good use todaywith your problems." Andthose problems being creatures. Creatures, she can handle very well indeed.

Shotsuren, her first sword, floated around her grimly. It seems it was also ready to taste battle once more. How quaint.

With her new sword in hand, she calculated just how much more they would need to kill before they can push on further. The problem was not on their end. They had the necessary power to kill these zombies. The challenge was that there were numerous of them, though they had been able to thin out the mob quite a bit now. Hikari furrowed her eyebrows at the conundrum. It seems they might have to do something more drastic.

Dee Dee's suggestion was sound. If they were able to push in, then they might be able target where the music was coming from. That would certainly put a stop to this madness.

"Dee Dee, I think your plan is sound. However, once we push in, we need to focus on taking out the sound first. Afterwards, we can then thin out these zombies." It was their best chance at making sure these zombies don't all swarm them, especially since the music was attracting more and more of them into the area.

She turned her attention to the woman, before smiling. "I've opened up a path, let's use it. Perhaps you can use your attack to both thin out the zombies, and clear a straight path for me. I can head over to the stage and take out this incessant music." Hikari turned to a zombie nearby, and without pause, Kenmyoren unsheathed itself and sliced off the zombie's head.

"If you think that's a good plan, tell me when you're ready and I'll rush in." She gave the woman a nod as she sent all of her swords forward, slicing through two. Murakumo was still in her hand, and she deftly sheared off the jaw of a zombie that had been stalking too close to her liking.

Hikari was shocked at the boldness of the woman. "Ah, I didn't know you were going to be sharing my car, Miss Akane." She smiled at the woman, though still confused. Perhaps this mission can be done as a team. And, to be fair, if they couldn't, then the system would have done something about it already. No, she supposed this was the best case scenario. Hikari mentally shrugged her thoughts away, before starting to drive forward.

Keeping up with the other vehicles was easy, it was the riddles part that worried her. As she continued to speed up, she started to realize just how advantageous having Akane with her can be. With a grin, she started to loom towards her first opponent. "Would you be so kind as to eliminate our competition for us, Miss Akane?" She made her way closer and closer towards the driver's side of one of her opponents. There was no rule against this, right?

"Just...making it difficult for them to win. After all, we don't want to be called murderers during a mission now, right?" She smiled at the woman, before speeding up.

While Akane dealt with that problem, Hikari had her own. As they approached the first turn, she realized that there were three pathways she can take, with words on top of each. Above them all was a riddle which she presumed she needed to answer by entering one of the three paths. This was going to be a headache.

At Dee Dee's nod, Hikari started to make preparations. Quickly accessing her inventory, she pulled out her ace. The sword which she had received from the little girl who was now the CEO and the leader of a rather interesting guild. "Murakumo." She whispered the name gingerly. A legendary sword, if she believed its authenticity to its historical counterpart.

Her plan was simple. She wanted to maximize the capability of her swords, and to carve out a path for them to push forward. Most importantly, she wanted to see just how her subclass worked, especially in conjunction with her main class.

When provided the opportunity, Hikari would start sprinting forward. Shotsuren and Daitsuren were both unsheathed, although Shotsuren would slowly drift aside as she raised Murakumo. The legendary sword would replace her first core-based sword. Her approach had attracted the attention of the zombies. They gazed at her, and she obliged them a smile.

"Mikazuki." Hikari whispered. At her command, her last unsheathed sword, Kenmyoren, appeared beside her. It slowly unsheathed, making it so that the blade seemed to absorb the little amount of light in this place. Her ability started to unfold as Kenmyoren, her largest sword, cut a swathe through the zombies, creating a gap that was now accessible by Dee Dee and her summons. She did not stop there, however. Unsheathing Murakumo, she stabbed through a zombie that had tried to fill the gap where her attack had split the group. Daitsuren flew through the air beside her, stabbing through another zombie.

Hikari smiled at her handiwork, before realizing that her subclass' aura was now starting to truly affect the zombies around them. The range was slowly becoming larger and larger with each passing second, and the amount of zombies which the debuffs were stacking on grew by the minute.

Hikari nodded at the woman's parting words. But of course, she couldn't go as she is now. After all, she was not ready. Hikari knew that in order for her to be successful in this task, she must be able to carry her own weight. That means that she would not be relying on Dee Dee too much or at all during combat. No, it was better if she was able to truly do things on her own. Her own strength, her own success.

"I will. Next time we meet, I will be ready, miss Dee Dee." She bowed towards the woman, and watched her leave. Perhaps there was merit to waiting as well. It might toughen up the woman when it came down to making those hard decisions. Even Hikari needed to think these things through. Was what she was doing moral?

Looking up, she sighed. She needed to get stronger, and soon. Hikari felt the need to cotinue honing her own skills, and truth be told, the only way she can do that is by going on missions, hunting creatures, and perhaps taking on challenges such as the Ender Island thing she had been seeing so much about.

Taking out the zombies from behind Dee Dee was a solid, plan, especially for Hikari who did not want to be in the frontlines. Why should she put herself in danger when she didn't need to? No, she was comfortable here for now as she continued to ramp up her damage dealing capabilities. There was also the fact that her Delirium-causing aura was now getting larger and larger as time went by. Soon, all of the zombies will be debuffed. For now, all she had to do was wait.

"That works for me, Dee Dee. Please mind my swords." She warned as Shotsuren shot forward towards another zombie. This time, the sword nailed it straight through the centre of its head, hitting the brain. It didn't stop moving forward, however. Hikari smiled as she felt her sword sword slowly unsheath beside her. It seem that Daitsuren was finally ready to come out and play as well.

There was little doubt of what Hikari was going to do next. Without pause, she flicked her fan forward, sending her sword straight through the neck of the zombie. Without fail, the zzombie's neck would start to dissintegrate as the creature fell to its knees. Nodding at her work, she realized that her tactic was only doing minimal damage to the horde in front of them. She would definitely need to step up her game.

"Dee Dee, I might need to head into the frontline for a bit to do more than what I currently am doing." She said, as she started to pull out her new item. "I hope you can provide a path forward for me." It was a request, and one that Hikari knew would be feasible. Her new sword, her new subclass, this would be the perfect time to test them.

"It takes a certain type of character for one to have to be able to kill callously." She shrugged, "Or a certain experience which leads one numb to it." Hikari had seen it first hand, and she would not want to wish it on anybody. "Be glad that you nor I are one of those." She smiled at the woman. "I might seem callous, but that is my nature. I kill if I need to, it is never my first action when it comes to people." The ait must be cleared between them, or else this awkwardness will last too long for comfort.

Hikari turned towards Dee Dee, eyes meeting hers. She thought about how to respond, and came up with, "These people are opportunitistic people, ones that are callous, and have no sense of right nor wrong. They are people who take advantage because they can. Consequently, they are also the most insecure. They are the ones who envy those who have done well for themselves, and instead of doing something to improve on themselves, they covet what others have." She paused, sighing, "These are evil people, Dee Dee. Because, if they weren't, why would they go against their own kind? Why would they prey on people, instead of the bountiful monsters and simple missions that are available to them?"

The world has changed, but it did not change as much as she had hoped. "The world is both different, and still the same. These people existed before, they were just not as blatant."

The plan by Dee Dee was sound. After all, Dee Dee's capability to be a one person team with her summons made it so that she can focus on being on the backline instead. She thrived here, after all. Although, he knew that her comabt abilities were slowly changing. Her subclass saw to that, and so did her new weapon, which she had not had to chance to pull out. Perhaps she would get the opportunity later on.

When Dee Dee got started, so did she. Hikari watched as the woman made her first move with her wand, blasting one of the zombies away, though merely slowing it down. No, Hikari would not have that. Instead, Shotsuren blazed through the air as it struck one of the zombies straight through its eye. Before it could even recover, she drew her fan, Onibi-Sensu, and flicked it towards her target. Immediately, starting to burn the creature while an otherworldly ball of flame danced around its extremities.

She was preparing to prepare another attack, when she realized that this would be the best chance to try out her new subclass, and therefore her new skill. With two of her attacks hitting the target, it now had two stacks of a debuff known as [Delirium]. Quickly engaging her memory, she realized she can now use one of her skills: Nightmare's Promise.

There was no hesitation. She squeezed her hand towards the zombie she had hit twice, summoning nightmarish claws from the earth to slash and tear at the zombie. With all of the damage sustained by the creature, it was immediately ripped to shreds.

"Now this is power." Hikari smiled to herself, an aura radiated around her that spoke of nightmarish proportions. It pulsed and grew as the minutes ticked by, slowly making its way towards the hoard of zombies.

There were many things she needed to think about, and many more she needed to make decisions for. The conundrum of their current situation was certainly not for the weak of heart. However, Hikari was never the sort. She took on any challenge that was placed in front of her with zeal. She was made of tougher stuff, because if she was not, she would not have survived her childhood.

The sound that Dee Dee mentioned, however, was certainly intriguing. And the fact that there was a mission associated with it made it even more interesting. "I should be ready for anything." She responded with a smile. Affixing her guild emblem, and making sure that her most useful items are at the ready, she made her way alongside Dee Dee, who seemed to be getting her summons prepared as well.

The prospect of fighting stronger enemies excited Hikari. After all, this would be a culmination of her current strength and progress, giving her a purview of how well her growth has been. "With my current level-ups, I think I can manage much better." If she had joined Dee Dee a few weeks ago, it would not have ended well for her. Now, however, she felt much more ready.

As they got closer, Hikari's eyes widened slightly at the sight. "Are those...zombies?"
