unholy oil A bottle of flammable oil from a place that shall not be mentioned. You can coat 1 limb or a weapon with this oil once per thread. Once coated, that weapon or limb will burn with Dark blue flames. If land a physical attack with that weapon or limb, you will deal Bonus [MAGI]rank-2 damage. The flames will then go out and reappear after 3 post.
executioner’s khopesh - A crude blade with the faintest glem of blood on the blade. Deals damage equal to you [PWR], capping out at A-rank. Once every three posts, the blade can bypass 1 rank of the target’s [DEF].
black apple - Upon consuming, will cause your [MAGI] to increase by 30% for the following four posts. Can only be consumed once per thread.
Notes Used five items and three abilities. The scarab, unholy oil, black apple, sword, and wand. The ability used was Desert Night that is on second post, and Black Light District. The base MAGI is 58 the Black Apple and Shroud boosts it by 50%. It goes up to 87 (A). Damage done in this post alone. 1 E rank from Black Light. Another E rank from his basic attack with the sword, the sword ability drops the [DEF] down for the strike. The unholy oil deals (C) rank MAGI Damage to the bear. If the bear doesn’t fall this post it will the next. [attr="class",robtext] Emir was feeling pretty happy about the fact that this was the egghead he hired. Not to mention the guy seemed feisty and not at all scared. These days a lot of people barely pass the tutorial. Those that did often lacked the will to fight. Emir was viewing Ollie as a rare exception. “Sure. I can learn to count on you. By the way you may want to start moving.”
Emir’s stealth ability was strong. It did have a drawback that was noticeable to those that paid attention. The attacks sent out were not covered and could be traced back to the source. Hence, the bear even if it could not see them. Was barreling towards them because of how Emir shot out his sand. The dark motes in the air gathered, and created another tentacle that aimed at the bear from behind. Upon contact the bear slowed down.
Emir was calm as he started taking out some spoils from the last monster he killed here. An apple, a black khopesh weapon, and a bottle of what he guessed to be rubbing oil. Emir was calm as he dropped his shadow clone, then he started moving in the opposite direction of Ollie. The bear was focused on his shadow, glad to see a target that it could attack. Emir took a small nibble out the apple. It was pretty tasty. He could feel the magical ability in his body increasing, it was something akin to what a nerd would call mana. He had time to experiment while his shadow and maybe Ollie. Would keep the bear busy. He opened the bottle and smelt the oil. It was a crude smelling thing, so he decided to pour it on the blade instead of his skin like before. It was pretty when dark blue flames showed up on it.
The Nightwalker was ready to go all out. He was just lucky the apple was not deadly. Running up from the bear's flank. One hand shot out more sand from the want. The other would do a one handed slash, going downwards with all his power at the neck as if trying to decapitate it.

Notes Dark Shroud Boosts MAGI by 20%. Bringing my MAGI up to 57 (B). [attr="class",robtext] Emir had to consider his options on how to answer. He had a specialty that was inherited by multiple generations of his family. The ability was to throw money at something till it was no longer a problem. His grandpa did not like the way a TSA agent searched him at an airport. He brought the airport to fire the guy. That was the power that the money in his family could wield. The current advent of the new world order has changed that. He no longer had the money to do things like that. These days he has to kill and get rid of things himself. Like the average person.
“I have had some survival training. You can say that was a family specialty.” Emir would answer after some deliberation. It was mostly survival from being kidnapped, moving about in foreign countries, and similar. It was not that wilderness stuff that most people would think of when he said that. “Personally, I have had some blade training. You can say I can use them like an amateur though.” It was an honest assessment. His so-called blade training was with some indentured servants that would never try to kill him. Not to mention even if Emir made a fatal wound the family in question would have been greatly compensated.
The Nightwalker would not pick up on any threatening vibes from Tali. “Oh, I am Emir. Emir Nebu the Dark Harbinger, or whatever title you wish to use.” Emir was not the type to be easily scared. The guy could have punched a hole in a human body, and Emir would have still struck up the conversation. “Would you care to give some pointers? I mean if you have any on bladed weapons.” Emir smiled with a slightly condescending grin. He was interested in seeing if this guy could teach him anything.

Notes Level Up to 25 and chose my subclass. New Base is 63 for Magi as all points were placed there. Doing so raises the use of Shroud of Midnight and the new MAGI stat becomes 75. Death Chase Sub-Class has been unlocked. [attr="class",robtext] Emir did not comment on the bloodsucker reply. He made a mental note to go back there and finish them off. He would not allow a single one of them to get away with what they did. Emir was not happy about the fact that he had to run away to survive. He wanted to make sure he ended the creatures if he had the chance. To do that he had to grow stronger. It was a desire that was coursing in his veins. The desire to be the one that granted death to enemies. Even if it was a higher chance of him dying as well.
He silently opened up his menu and started to disturb some points. As the pair walked inward and away from the safety of the beach. His feet paused for a moment when he heard Nikolas question on new friends and lovers. The dark haired man turned his golden eyes towards his fair haired companion. “I have made a new friend in the form of a guild leader and some acquaintances. No one like a lover. At least not yet.” His tone of voice took a peculiar lilt as he said the yet portion. He waggled his eyes and gave a wink as well. He had no problem when it came to hitting on Nikolas. The Night Walker had experience enough to sense there was some interest coming from the two parties. Especially when he could feel Nikolas eyes go over his body from behind.
The nightwalker turned back around. “I would enjoy having a decent lover. Hope you don’t mind me being vulgar. My bed has been so empty. Hard enough surviving in the city without a great lay. It has been so much harder on this island. Figuratively and literally.” Emir had no problem when it came to being blunt about matters like this. He was saying it in a light hearted tone that had a hint of a laugh to it. Emir could only imagine if Nikolas was turning red behind him.
“No hel…” A loud scream could be heard coming from the forest ahead of them, before it was abruptly stopped and replaced with silence. It reminded Emir that death was all around him. He finished messing with his stat screen putting in his last point. He put the points into magic ability as he leveled up. “Stay close. Whatever was able to do that may not be that far from us.” Emir backed his body up as if he was trying to cover Nikolas with it. The Nightwalkers' sense of danger was rising from the silent forest around them. It was eerie and ominous. Emir was actually excited about it.

If you know how to attack, not sure what you are actually capable of.” Emir pointed his wand and sent out another blast from the tip. The bear was starting to get mad from the onslaught both of them were doing. It turned towards the duo and started charging. Black motes started to fill the air as Emir used another ability. In front of them a thick tentacle of darkness showed up. The bear was smacked by it but refused to slow down. “Let me get us out of the way for a moment.” That would be as much a warning as Emir would bother to give. He would grab Olliver and mold into the ground as he used Desert Night on them both. Using Emir’s speed the duo would pop up super fast behind the bear.
“Sorry, I had to move us. Now we can have a small talk, and you do not even have to fight. If you do not wish to. I said so earlier to help you feel at ease. Some people prefer to try after being pepped. No shame if you are not that type. I am more than enough for this.” The bear reached the spot the duo had previously seen them at and looked around. It was looking suspicious but could not find them the moment Emir melted them into the shadows. He was using the black motes from his Black Light District ability, to cover them in Darkness. His passive making them undetectable to the bear by entering them in stealth. The black motes in the air gathered around the bear and rammed into it. The bear cried out in annoyance. It lowered its nose to the ground as if it was going to sniff us out. “So what made you decide to come take on the mission I posted? It was just to find some extra ingredients. Normally people would avoid this job like the plague.”
Emir was speaking and opened his menu as well. While he had a bit of time he wanted to add some points in from the last monster he destroyed. Using them he managed to hit level 24 before stopping. He invested the points into his magic stat as it was the main way that did damage. The bear was slowly taking multiple instances of damage. Even if it was miniscule since the bear was so tanky. He was happy with the free stuff he got.

Getting taken out by a jealous lover. Highly possible. This is not how I planned on going out.” Emir grabbed Nico and both of them were swallowed by Emir’s ability. The two blobs of darkened shadow rushed out of the building as quickly as he could manage.
They made it outside and the village exploded. The aftershock was enough to rattle the movement ability. If it was even stronger it could have broken it. If that would have killed them both. Even then he felt bad after the both of them popped out. “That was a close one but at least we finished.” Emir would laugh. Happy about the fact that he managed to get the work done.

Notes Dark Shroud Boosts MAGI by 20%. Bringing my MAGI up to 57 (B). [attr="class",robtext]Emir was rolling around the Golem. Kiting it away and trying to buy Nico as much time as possible. He would send the dark sand from his wand into the cracks and crevices of the joints. His plan was to burn through them. If science is to be believed the golem should become incapacitated with the proper way to move. He would have tried harder to dismantle it in other circumstances. Emir just believed that a possible mission to take it out would pop up later. He did not want to kill the golden goose and all.
“It is done.” Emir heard the words he was looking for when he managed to remove a leg using the dark motes. “It is about time…” Emir was cut off as the robot hit the ground and a new voice was heard. “Self destruct sequence activated.” The nightwalker started to go pale at the sound of that.

The big lug of a golem that had a dangerous air to it. Emir used his dark sand to cover Nico and provide cover. It would be a lot easier to battle if the golem only had one target. A shot of hot sand shot off his wand and sailed over at quick speeds to greet the mechanical beast. The golem released a weird roar and rushed towards him. Emir did not move at full speed. His thoughts were on finding a weakness to the creature.
Emir activated his ability and little black motes filled the air. The twisted turning into tentacles that also lashed out. Emir ducked in and out of the shadows, trying to keep himself as covered as possible in the darkness without raising the golems' searching abilities. The motes in the air lending aid to the attack.

dark soles - A pair of midnight black shoes that allow you to walk on uneven, unsteady, and difficult terrain with ease. When wearing these shoes you can gain +20% [SPD] three times per thread for 2 post.

Notes Used two items and one ability. The scarab and wand. The ability used was Desert Night. [attr="class",robtext] The Nightwalker was pretty relaxed. He could not sense anything close by besides the other guy. When the man approached Emir, he started to believe he was the egghead he hired. The main reason was that the man did not repress his aura, or lower his presence in some way. Only the guy was lucky, he must have known what he was doing. If not it would be a pain in the butt if the dude started aggroing any creature that came around.
“Oh, I am Emir. I was using this area to train and do some questing.” Emir tilted his head a bit. “Are you the one I hired? I needed some help identifying some plants and monster bits.” The words came out of his mouth when he heard a soft roar. Emir was so distracted by Ollie that he had neglected the monster's approach. He had deemed it as not worth killing earlier. Who knew that it would retaliate.
The bear knocked Emir over with a basic attack. “Whoops. My bad brother bear.” He would start to speak as he reacted. No sooner was he hit that he released the scarab beetle and attached it to the bear's leg. Next he used his black sands to summon a shield. It was enough to stop the [Mountain Break] that was coming at him. Emir was relaxed as he melded into the ground under the cover of his shield.
Emir would pop up next to Ollie using his Desert Night to zoom over. “Sorry about that. I never got the answer to that question. Would you mind accepting this party request? You can have some of this exp.” Emir took out his wand and pointed it as well. The bear took out the shield with another basic hit as Emir’s shot fired over. Hitting the thing in the side. The Nightwalker was confident in his ability to take it out. The only trouble was how long it would take.

Notes Dark Shroud Boosts MAGI by 20%. Bringing my MAGI up to 57 (B). [attr="class",robtext] Emir did not mind his training. He found it relaxing trying to make different types of slashes. He was itching to fight a real opponent. The training dummy would only go so far in the way of training. Actual combat was the best motivator and chance to train. This was only teaching him some theoretical applications. The Night Walker felt it would only become useful when he really got the chance to use it in battle.
Without turning around Emir felt the guy coming. He did not acknowledge the man as he believed the guy was going to move on. Emir was pleasantly surprised when he did not feel the guy leave. He wanted to run a few more sets in the blade training department before stopping.
The sound of the man’s fist as it hit was what made Emir stop. This time he gave the guy full attention as if noticing him for the first time. Emir was impressed to say the least. The striking speed that was being done was subpar to say the least. The impressive portion was how each part of the fist seemed to flow. Emir was classically trained in battle but it never had the same flow the guy had.
“I have to say those are some impressive skills. Do you fistfight often?” He started to make small talk. Emir wanted to see if the man was willing to spar with him in the long run.

[attr="class",robtext]“Sorry about this Pori!” Emir was reacting at top speed. Grabbed the kid that escaped the clutches of the beast. The Night Walker did not even need to pay much attention as hundreds of two inch motes started to fill the air. They formed thick tentacles in some places that lashed out onto the small slime that was the new host. Emir was not the type to leave a problem behind. He activated the power within the darkness and allowed it to envelop the slime. The weak attack took out the low HP in the slime.
Emir canceled the darkness and even stopped his stealthing abilities. On the ground where the slime had been was a bunch of kids on the ground. “Nani? What is this? Was your slime holding all these kids?” Emir was incredulous. He did not think Pori would be the one to grab the kids in order to create a mission for him. Emir would have admired her foresight if that was the case. The Night Walker just did not think she had the gall to do something like that.
He would listen to anything Pori had to say before getting to work. Emir wanted the children awake and walking. He would cover everyone in a shade of darkness and get to work on getting them all home. Happy to travel along with his Slime Guild Leader.

“Can you get back in?” Emir did not panic and simply responded by asking. If Nico could not then they would be forced to flee abandoning the mission. The question barely had enough time to exit his mouth before a bigger rumble was heard. Nico gave Emir an offended look. The look was one that said Emir asked a stupid dumb enough to impress scholars for years. The hacker did not even bother to dignify him with a response and just got to work on doing.
The ground rumbled even harder and the door to the main area they were in exploded. Emir put a shield in front of them made from his dark sand out of reflex. Emir could not see it right away, it took him a moment for his mind to process the golem coming towards him.

Party synergy [black and white] activates increasing [VIT] by 10% (to a 12). Increase healing effectiveness by 10% [attr="class",robtext] “Great!” Emir gave Nikolas a thousand watt smile. His smile would cause crest to pay him royalties. “This is going to be fun. To make sure I share some of the experience with you, let me send the party request. This will be like old times sake. We can see how much the both of us have grown.” Emir opened the menu and sent the request to the ever familiar name. The nightwalker was so very pleased with all he could do. If it was the current him in the previous tutorial he had no doubt he would wipe out all the vampires and keep Nik and Skye safe.
Emir felt a rush as some of his stats increased. He forgot how at lower levels Nik could make people stronger by just being around. Using this Emir was even more sure of himself. He was starting to doubt the island could throw something at him that would surprise. “With you around. I have no doubt we could reach the center of the island before anyone else. Just stay close to me in case anything happens. I can keep you cloaked and protected.”
Taking the lead of his buddy, Emir descended from the beach to the sandy area. Moving more inland. He decided not to cloak them in stealth at the moment. It would be easier for him to have some idea of what the two of them could do in battle. Working on their synergy more would just prevent future problems. The Dark Harbinger looked over and saw a smudge on Nik's face. He would reach over to rub it off. Not really thinking too much about it.
“Since you have grown stronger. I guess you do not have to be as nervous. Think the old vampire runaway you would be shocked?” Emir was making small talk as they walked carefully. He was teasing Nik and enjoying it. Even now the sun blazed on his dazzling crown of hair, he had an ethereal look to him that made him look like royalty. Looks wise Emir found Nik to be as good looking as him. It was a shame. Emir did not want to try something in which he constantly had to compete. A good looking but not as good looking would work better for him.

Best we get the jump on it before it gets us.” Emir was itching to battle, his wand was at the ready, hidden in the folds of his clothes. When he exited stealth he was always under the impression that he was the target. Even when he thought he was noticed the face went above him to attack something else. The surprise from not being the center of attention is the only reason he was too slow to react. The monster attacked a kid that was hanging in the tree. Emir was shocked he did not even notice him before the monster looked like he was made from darkness like his own powers. He consumed the kid and got down from the tree.
"That... makes... 6!"
The nightwalker started blasting with his wand, he timed his place from a different angle from Pori that was moving a lot faster. If it tried to dodge her it would run right into his hot sand. His only thought was to take down the monster before it could grow stronger or do more harm to the kid. He was not as concerned as the current kid that was taken. The world was a dangerous place. If the kid was a powersource then it was no guarantee he would not get injured anyway. Worse case scenario the kid would have to perish for other children to avoid the same fate.
“I normally enjoy a good fight. You… you on the other hand will not be a fight. You will die.” A feeling of calmness washed over Emir. He was looking at the monster like it was a subject meant to pass away and wither. The timing of not how but when he would avenge the children were present inside of him. Today was a day of execution.
