Pori herself had on her yellow robe which she tied around her waste and treated it like a skirt. Her Gor medallion and whistle dangled around her neck on a blue chain showing off her status as guild leader. A whip hung at her side while a tazer was holster behind her back. She wore a blue sleeveless shirt and dark blue shorts with satchel and a belt crossing her chest with a couple vials of liquid attached. Lastly, she had Jenny the nurse slime sitting on her head and Henry the talking slime sat on her satchel. Her helmet sat in her inventory ready to be summoned in the event they enter battle.

[break][break] Here she was. The air was cool. The sky was clear. A warm mug of hot cocoa snuggly glued to her hand. A monocle rested in her right eye with a paper covering a quest noticed. In these here parts, there had been reports of children missing. They walk into the forest and then never come out. Who knows what reason these people had for letting little kids go into the forest but MTP was going to get them out... and fight something interesting. All she had to do was wait for Emir to show up.

It was a good thing that Emir was naturally gifted when it came to speeding. He was lucky it did not take him too much time to reach the forest.

“I made it. Glad I am here on time for the mission. It is nice to see you on time.” Emir brushed off the fact that he was late. The old saying that royalty was never late was a standard he held to himself. He treated it as if he was merely on time. Emir did send Pori a party invite to see the details of the mission on the panel. After the review he was all set. “Ready to get this show on the road?”

Pori took a sip from her mug while looking back. It was at this moment, just like in one of those Japanese cartoons, a boy was rushing over to the area. The only thing he was missing was the toast in his mouth... or was that suppose to be the girl. Also, now she wanted toast! She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "But of course I'm on time. I got to be in the front!" The girl then grinned, "Glad you didn't die or chicken out from fear, hehe." She couldn't say it wasn't something she was worried about. All of her friends in the previous world left and or abandoned her. Her first friend in this world did the same. This time was going to be different though and even if it wasn't she held Adam's worlds close to her heart. [break][break]

"Yep! I got this monocle and everything. Oh, one more thing." The girl lowered her hand to her satchel and petted Henry. The slime then made a plop sound and another henry appeared on her hand.[break]

"Here hold on to him. Its like a phone. Anything you say to him will be repeated to my Henry." With this, the party was ready in her eyes. So, like any eager slimelord, she rushed head first into the forest. These children needed to be found sure, but boy did she wish she could run into a monster.

[attr="class",robtext]Emir chose to pick his battles. He ignored the quip about being a chicken. Even if it was a compliment seeing as how the birds were never actually scared of anything. That and the chickens these days shoot electricity for fun. The regular chickens had died out when the world changed. The man was just glad to be ready to get back moving.

“This is a nifty trick.” Emir accepted his new found slime buddy. His rapidly growing prestige over darkness made it a simple matter for him to make it disappear if he wanted, not that he would kill it but shade it to hide. “Take out your cricket thingy. We can use it to find the kids faster. If not we will be traveling all over this forest. Unless you can send in multiple mini slimes. That would be cool.” The nightwalker was learning to adapt rapidly. He did not understand the full extent of what Pori could do and believed his statement to be reasonable.

Pori stopped, sliding to a haul. "Cricket? Oh that toy thing." She puffed out her chest and threw on her grin. "Don't you hear that constant chirping? I forget about it sometimes, but when it stops chirping, that means something is near but invisible or something." Despite mentioning how useless it was, she was so proud. It was her useless toy. There was that other part of his statement. So with her nose in the air she responded, "I do in fact, not have the ability to send slime our to scout." After a hardy laugh, the girl turned back around and started running towards the forest yet again.[break][break]

She was not faster than the man but that was all the more reason to push ahead. But then she thought about something. "Wait... you have a skill were people don't notice you.... do you want to scout ahead?"

The thought of being mentally assaulted by the chirping, at all hours only for him to need to panic when it was actually silent, made him shudder. “That cricket is pretty crappy.” He could not help but to say it aloud. The torture from trying to keep it in would have given him bad gas.

Emir nodded at the suggestion of him taking the lead. “It matters not. Just try to use your slime to stay close enough. As long as you are within fifteen meters are so. I can keep us all from going unnoticed.” Emir used his core ability and rustled up his darkness. Like a sandy love glove it wrapped around the party, coating them all like chocolate covered raisins. Seeing Pori and the slimes as trustworthy they entered stealth mode as well. “I have been practicing and my powers have grown by leaps and bounds. Keeping us like this is nothing.” Emir made sure to keep the smug out his voice, as he spoke to the slime. Using it as a walkie talkie to transmit his voice.

The nightwalker would speak into the slime to start guiding them. The place he wanted to head to first was the last place the last victim was spotted. It would be the location that had the highest amount of clues for them. Instead of galavanting through the forest praying they got lucky.

Pori nodded at the man's statements. Indeed, her cricket was not the best item in the world but well, it was all she had. Also the constant chirping was a great way to kill the silence... once you got past how annoying it was. Still the girl had dealt with worst in her life. With that out the way it was time to move on to the more important stuff. [break][break]

"Keep us... hidden?" It would not be long before her question would be answered. Shadows erupted from the man as a black sandstorm of sort and then surrounded them both. Was she now invisible? Was this how the man managed to bump into her. Her eyes were all starry eyed but well, she had to stay cool like a certain someone. She quickly straight up and fought a losing battle to not smirk. "I suppose this is a good skill. Good job on getting stronger so quickly. Now lets hunt the monsters... and I suppose find the kids."[break][break]

The place they were lead to was the location of the last missing kid. It was a forest stomp surrounded by a abnormal clearing of trees. It reminded Pori of a large room with the trees acting as walls and the stomp reminding her of a table or a bed. The stomp was cut clean and there were no signs of debris on the ground. So that meant it was not done recently. However, there was no signs of dying on the stomp. In fact, aside from being completely smooth, it looked as if it was recently chopped. Pori was not too sure of this so she kept quiet but she did walk around until she came across a dark blue shoe. "Emir! I think I found a clue!"[break][break]

Guild Rations - Heal a small portion of stamina and health when consumed. Great for long missions/ dungeons.

[attr="class",robtext]Emir smiled at the compliment. He worked hard often and it was nice to feel appreciated. It was a shame that more people did not notice his genius. “Let’s get to tracking.” The last bit was spoken softly as they got to work. Emir would pay careful attention to his surroundings. He was being more vigilant and less fun, since his life was dependent on it. The guy was a cockroach when it came to his survival instinct.

The nightwalker was more focused on defense that he did not see the shoe. When Pori pointed out to him he walked over to check it. “You are right. This is really a clue. Judging by the drag marks it was definitely a kidnapping.” Emir had seen various people getting questioned by his security growing up. When they were dragged away a shoe could get left, and they left imprints in the ground. That was why his father told security to start carrying people away. It was harder but the extra fifty thousand was a great motivator.

“If we come across trouble. Defend the kids and try to escape. Our mission is to rescue anyway and not destroy.” Emir only said so because he lacked offensive options at the moment. That and the face that was making its way over to their location lacked friendliness. It was a good thing the mean mug did not look like it was directed at them exactly.

Pori herself had on her yellow robe which she tied around her waste and treated it like a skirt. Her Gor medallion and whistle dangled around her neck on a blue chain showing off her status as guild leader. A whip hung at her side while a tazer was holster behind her back. She wore a blue sleeveless shirt and dark blue shorts with satchel and a belt crossing her chest with a couple vials of liquid attached. Lastly, she had Jenny the nurse slime sitting on her head and Henry the talking slime sat on her satchel. Her helmet sat in her inventory ready to be summoned in the event they enter battle.

Emir not only acknowledged her clue but went into further details. A kidnapping and a struggle. Clearly the kid was not strong enough to defend themselves. So what did that say about the monster. "If this kidnapper is just targeting kids... doesn't that make it weak? I was hoping to fight something stronger..."[break][break]

She let out a sigh before looking at the tracks Emir pointed out. She lost a lot inn this quest now and her stomach started growling. This was the sign of a bored Pori. Fortunate for the team, something responded to the slime girl's belly. It was a loud growl like sound despite not being close and the cricket did not stop chirping. It repeated one more time though this time the sound choked itself before disappearing. "I think that's the monster... though... I thought we were hidden?" [break][break]

The girl carelessly walked toward the direction she thought the sound came from without any trace. She doubted anything was gonna stop her but if it could, then maybe she would gain interest again. That was until a certain smell drew her attention to a tree. It was the smell of cookies! Upon moving the the tree, the sound of deep breathing could be heard of one was quiet and it was coming from above.

“We are. Best we get the jump on it before it gets us.” Emir noticed the monster coming towards him. The nightwalker was starting to live up to the theory of striking first to win sooner. A fluid practice motion had him take out his wand, aim, and shoot the blazing hot sand at it. The monster staggered before looking around angrily. It noticed Emir and was really starting to charge.

“With this we should start to fight…… wait.” Emir had a sudden thought after he attacked. They had never talked about battle plans in depth before. He was under the understanding that Pori had some means to fight. The full extent of it was beyond him. “I can keep it busy. You can easily launch a sneak attack like this.” The battle had already started and Emir was itching to fight. He did make a mental note to talk battle strategy with Pori later. A seamless distribution can make them so much stronger.

Pori pulled out her whip after the recommendation to fight was given. She looked up at the tree preparing to hit was was in it. Though she did need to find it. She took some steps to the left in an attempt to get vision on the creature in the tree but sound of an attack from her partner made her freeze. Was she not looking at the monster?[break][break]

The girl turned around to see what she could only describe as a shadow gremlin. It was a walking silhouette of a rat with white voids for eyes. It was struck by the magical sand that knocked it back. She looked back to the tree one more time and then started running towards the creature with slime building up in her mouth. Before she could release her skill, Emir told her to do a sneak attack. She could not respond but she thought about it. Using her invisibility she ran behind the creature and then spat out her slime. [break]

She also lashed her whip at the creature adding some extra damage. This took her out of invisibility and would creature fall forward from the double surprise attack. [break][break]

This would be the only good thing though the creature was aware of them now and held its hand out as if preparing to launch an attack but then the creature just disappeared leaving behind a light of childish giggling. A moment later, leaves would fall from the tree Pori was looking at. Then their was a terrifying scream of a child. A sinister childish laughter followed. "That... makes... 6!"

“We are. Best we get the jump on it before it gets us.” Emir was itching to battle, his wand was at the ready, hidden in the folds of his clothes. When he exited stealth he was always under the impression that he was the target. Even when he thought he was noticed the face went above him to attack something else. The surprise from not being the center of attention is the only reason he was too slow to react. The monster attacked a kid that was hanging in the tree. Emir was shocked he did not even notice him before the monster looked like he was made from darkness like his own powers. He consumed the kid and got down from the tree.

"That... makes... 6!"

The nightwalker started blasting with his wand, he timed his place from a different angle from Pori that was moving a lot faster. If it tried to dodge her it would run right into his hot sand. His only thought was to take down the monster before it could grow stronger or do more harm to the kid. He was not as concerned as the current kid that was taken. The world was a dangerous place. If the kid was a powersource then it was no guarantee he would not get injured anyway. Worse case scenario the kid would have to perish for other children to avoid the same fate.

“I normally enjoy a good fight. You… you on the other hand will not be a fight. You will die.” A feeling of calmness washed over Emir. He was looking at the monster like it was a subject meant to pass away and wither. The timing of not how but when he would avenge the children were present inside of him. Today was a day of execution.

As Emir's attack landed on the boy who was possessed by weird rat creature, the creature was ejected from it's body. The creature looked around but there was nothing for it to attack. It was confused and well, panicking as the only thing it could find was the slime baby creature. It darted to the thing but Shot it with her tazer and then lashed at it with her whip stopping it in its track. The baby slime joined in and tackled the creature. This however gave the creature the prereq required for it to find another place to hide. So the creature jumped into the body of the baby slime, only to realize that it was so weak. Just one attack would be enough to knock it out and it was running low on HP. "Oh no... It jumped into my baby! What is this thing?"

{Spoiler}shroud of midnight - A dark purplish shroud of silk that can magically extinguish any light 15 feet in diameter, up to 30 feet away from you for a single post every three posts. This shroud can protect up to a single instance of damage equal to your [DEF] or less once per turn. While equipped you gain +20% [MAGI].

wand of hot sands- An black oak wand that can telekinetically move unattended objects 10 ft. per round. The object must be within 15 feet and weigh 1 lb. or less. Fire a [basic] projectile equal to your [PWR] each round up to 20 feet, at your [SPD]. 4 posts after landing the first hit, all targets hit by this wand will take heat damage equal to your [MAGI]. The counter then resets.

dark soles - A pair of midnight black shoes that allow you to walk on uneven, unsteady, and difficult terrain with ease. When wearing these shoes you can gain +20% [SPD] three times per thread for 2 post.

Guild Rations - Heal a small portion of stamina and health when consumed. Great for long missions/ dungeons.

[attr="class",robtext]“Sorry about this Pori!” Emir was reacting at top speed. Grabbed the kid that escaped the clutches of the beast. The Night Walker did not even need to pay much attention as hundreds of two inch motes started to fill the air. They formed thick tentacles in some places that lashed out onto the small slime that was the new host. Emir was not the type to leave a problem behind. He activated the power within the darkness and allowed it to envelop the slime. The weak attack took out the low HP in the slime.

Emir canceled the darkness and even stopped his stealthing abilities. On the ground where the slime had been was a bunch of kids on the ground. “Nani? What is this? Was your slime holding all these kids?” Emir was incredulous. He did not think Pori would be the one to grab the kids in order to create a mission for him. Emir would have admired her foresight if that was the case. The Night Walker just did not think she had the gall to do something like that.

He would listen to anything Pori had to say before getting to work. Emir wanted the children awake and walking. He would cover everyone in a shade of darkness and get to work on getting them all home. Happy to travel along with his Slime Guild Leader.

Pori herself had on her yellow robe which she tied around her waste and treated it like a skirt. Her Gor medallion and whistle dangled around her neck on a blue chain showing off her status as guild leader. A whip hung at her side while a tazer was holster behind her back. She wore a blue sleeveless shirt and dark blue shorts with satchel and a belt crossing her chest with a couple vials of liquid attached. Lastly, she had Jenny the nurse slime sitting on her head and Henry the talking slime sat on her satchel. Her helmet sat in her inventory ready to be summoned in the event they enter battle. [break]

Emir raced toward her baby slime and basically obliterated it. However, it somehow survived. Pori was a bit confused as normally such an attack would have killed it. The monster was ejected before finally dying. Maybe picking such a low hp creature wasn't the best move. With its death into a ghastly cloud, all of the kids poof back into existence. Emir made a comment about her slime having all the kids. "Wait... no. My babies don't live long enough to do that... I think. But it wasn't me. Maybe that monster ate them. He did say something about 6 when he went inside of the boy." [break][break]

With that all done, the two made sure the kids were okay and returned back to the person that put up the request. The day was save though Pori could not help but feel a bit disappointed that the fight was a bit easier than she anticipated. Either way, the deed was done and it was time to move on to the next challenge to grow the guild.
