Everyone she ran into had such interesting classes. Hana had always felt hers was a bit underwhelming, although recent upgrades and her sub-class had definitely helped balanced things out, in her opinion. She wouldn't have been a fan of summoning demons, though. Even her stagehand was a little creepy for her. The musician also had to wonder what Dee Dee would think about Hikari's brother.

Hana saw Hikari similarly disappear, popping back into view a few times as she gracefully darted across the courtyard in her own way. After sending that message, the blonde hefted her guitar again and began to rush out from the trees, her obscuring petal aura instantly dissipating as soon as she made the aggressive movement. She didn't consider herself anywhere near as graceful as Hikari, and her own attack was definitely going to be louder.

With a swing of her crystalline instrument, a bright trail of energy slashed through the sentry bot, accompanied by a loud squeal of sonic force. As it fell, still reaching for its weapon, Hana smashed a fist into its head, sending it flying off. At this range she realized it was samurai themed, helmet rolling away and armor clattering to the ground.

Turning towards the remaining guard, she began to dash over at full speed, drawing a pair of strangely shaped daggers with one hang, flinging them at the robotic target as she approached. If Kurai was going to attempt to assist, she might as well soften up the sentry for him. And hopefully draw its attention away from the lower level target.

Hana seemed a bit wary when the identity of the armored stranger was revealed. Hikari's brother was some sort of demon summoner? Their family really was strange. "Wait, rent?" She stood up straight at the suggestion, a bit shocked. "I mean, if you think you can handle whatever lives there now by yourself..." Hana didn't think that was happening, especially not when he revealed he had yet to level up at all.

Thankfully Hikari stepped in to straighten things about. Although the way she phrased their retaking of the compound didn't sound as heroic as Hana had imagined. She definitely had a different sort of relationship with her parents than these two siblings had with theirs. "Uh, yeah. You're gonna wanna, like, hang back then." If he had any stealth abilities, that would've been great. She didn't waste time suggesting it, though. His outfit and armored companion didn't point towards him being the sneaky type.

"If you've got any points, you might want to gain as many levels now as you can. What stats does your class use? Maybe we can trade you some items. Or more points." Hana knew this zone, and this mission, would be dangerous. And if they made a good impression, maybe Hikari would help recruit him to the Guild!

Taking in the scene in front of them, her eyes flickered back and forth behind her glasses for a few moments. "I'll take the long way around, past the trees. You head for the closest one when it's crossing the bridge. Then we'll attack the last one from both sides!" She gave her guitar a little shake, smiling.

With a plan of attack decided, Hana stepped out first...seemingly disappearing in a sudden burst of sakura petals. They continued to fall from nowhere, leaving a trail across the lawn, before becoming impossible to tell apart from those naturally falling from the blossoming trees planted on the estate grounds. After a few moments, a system screen with a thumbs up emoji appeared in front of Hikari and Kurai.

While Hana's attack combined with Hikari's to keep the massive Stonk pinned in place, she turned her head slightly to check on her recruits. "Woah, flashy!" She complimented the special attack occurring in tandem with her own...although the two had the unfortunate side effect of destroying a good chunk of the warehouse. Whoops.

Things continued to look grim for the storage space as she realized that, while the main beast had begun to vanish, one stray creature was escaping. "Not so fast!" Hana slowly rotated where she was floating in mid-air, the cone-shaped blast of energy tearing through the wall itself before likely vaporizing the miniscule fleeing Stonk.

Finally satisfied, her guitar solo trailed off as the shoulder speakers folded away again. It suddenly seemed very quiet in the warehouse (or what was left of it). Glancing around, she hurried over towards the door, landing on the now solid ground to check on Jonas and Jeanne-Marie.

"...uh, sorry about the...slight...damage..." The musician winced as a chunk of ceiling collapsed near the missing wall. "...mission complete, though, right? Right...?"

As the smoke cleared, the creatures Hana had surrounded were gone. Although, unfortunately, they were quickly being replaced. Even worse, the new ones crawling out of the woodwork were somehow combining, creating one massive monster of a Stonk. "This party's getting crazy!" Hana began to rush back towards the others, continuing to leap on those bursts of sound to avoid the floor.

She'd accidentally left the others temporarily undefended when she pulled back so many of her active clones to prepare that trap. Before she could even direct some to assist Jonas, he'd already been unhanded...although now the much larger hand of the gestalt giant was reaching for him, and Hikari too. Thankfully, now that Hana was paying attention and well within range once more, it was easy enough to block the view and grasp of the colossus with her duplicates.

As the hand aiming for her snatched up a nearby clone and crushed it instead, Hana bounded towards the ceiling to get a clear shot, looking towards Jonas and Hikari again to confirm the duplicates were doing their job of running interference on the giant's attacks. "If you've been holding anything back just in case, time to use it!"

The music she'd been pumping out in the background suddenly increased in volume as she settled her guitar into a proper grip. This was definitely no longer the same breakup anthem Hana had played at the start of the fight. Jonas could tell it was a bit rawer and less refined, although something told him it was likely by the same artist. Whatever it was contained an absolutely wicked guitar solo, even if Hana wasn't quite nailing it. She was also in the middle of a fight and wearing at least two sets of gloves, and her guitar was made of crystal, so cut her some slack!

"It's time for the finale!" The armor on her shoulders suddenly flipped up to reveal hidden speakers, as sonic force blasted towards the massive beast. Hana continued to shred, as the giant Stonk did the same, the brightly colored cone of energy unfortunately tearing through shelves as well as her target. Strangely enough the system indicated the area was safe for her party members to traverse, likely thanks to a specialized skill.

Hana nodded along as the two talked. Well, they seemed to argue, mostly. They were either good friends or didn't get along at all, but she wasn't really sure which yet. Anyway, soon enough they began to notice signs of the portal nearby. Trees further up the shore were all slightly tilted one direction. Even the wind, and the tide lapping at the beach, were subtly off.

"We're almost there..." But, she stopped short. There was clearly a break in the trees off in the distance, where they could head further inland. A nice, obvious path towards the portal. But, on this side of the beach, there were several huts and other buildings. Signs of a settlement.

Hana pointed off across the water, towards another island in the distance. "We came from there last time, so once we crossed the water..." She moved her arm, finger drawing a trail that ended on the beach, far on the other side of their current roadblock. "No wonder we didn't notice this."

While the blonde was more concerned with the past, in the present, the other two could notice signs of a spiritual presence of some sort. Items lifting slightly for a moment before dropping back in place. Footsteps appearing on the beach, to vanish a moment later. All looping towards the distant trail to the portal, before returning to the beachside dwellings.

Once Tristan got within range to join the conversation, Hana turned to look down from the platform, to where he was standing by the tracks. "Yeah, this is Tokyo. Technically it's called 'Neo-Tokyo' now." She gained an annoyed expression for a brief moment, before shaking her head. "If you both just finished your Tutorials, then I'm not surprised you're a little lost. Or scared. It's lucky you wound up running into me!"

Hana put her hands on her hips, nodding her head, feeling very proud of herself. Very helpful. Until she blushed at Yasuko's comment. "Oh, no, Summer's way cooler than me. She rides around on some sorta, like, magical deer she hatched from a special egg." The blonde blinked, realizing how strange that must sound. "Anyway, Neo-Tokyo is considered a 'High Risk Zone'. If you're still low level, you'd be better off sticking to the 'Low Risk Zones'. Or, honestly, staying in one of the cities that are called 'Safe Zones'."

Looking between the two, she pondered things for a moment, before pointing towards the nearest stairway back up to ground level. "If you want, I can lead you back to my Guild base. We've got spare beds you can crash in for a night or two, food, clothes, stuff like that." Hana lifted a finger, as one of the system screens appeared, floating in front of her; poking at a few options, before the window vanished, depositing a reusable shopping bag in her hands.

"I've got a bunch of chips and candy bars in my inventory, though, if you want a snack now." She opened the straps wide to show off the goods stored in the cloth bag. "I, uh, liberated them from an abandoned convenience store, so they're regular stuff from before things changed. They don't go bad as long as you keep them stored in your inventory, so don't worry about the expiration dates."

Hana resolidified once she'd finished showing off, pausing to think for a moment at that question from Jonas. "...huh, I don't know. Maybe they'll let us, like, host a big concert or something?" She'd been putting on small performances in Safe Zones like Los Angeles, but nothing official. "Maybe when we finish the Guild Challenge?"

With a shrug, Hana moved on, as the subject had now changed to their survey target. "I think I saw some aquatic types near one of the astral portals one time." She just nodded, not thinking his choice was too strange. The system seemed to agree, as the mission registered with their newly formed party. "I guess it's official then!"

It only took her a few moments to consult her map, looking around before pointing down the coast of the island, away from the dock they were gathered around. "The portal's that way. The settlement we saw was across the water, though. We passed it on our way to the portal over here." Hana would begin to walk along the coast, if the other two followed. "You have a brother?" Hana looked between Hikari and the stranger, noticing the other figure accompanying him. As the spear was raised, a shimmering, crystalline guitar appeared in Hana's hands. She tensed up for a moment, before Kurai called out to confirm what Hikari had said. The musician relaxed, although the instrument/weapon remained in her grip.

"Oh! Nice to meet you, Kurai." She gave a proper bow, instrument lowered. "Yes, I'm Hana. Were you here looking for your family?" Hana looked between the two of them again, following Hikari as they approached the side entrance. Getting a better look at the armored figure that had lingered behind. "Uh, if you both want to join us, there's enough room in our party for the two of you."

Hikari didn't seem to recognize the other person, but they were also fully armored. "Did you two, like, do your Tutorial together?" She'd headed for her house right after her Tutorial, too. "I hope you don't mind that we plan to, uh, commandeer this place for our Guild." They were starting to need the extra space, honestly.

Once through the exterior wall, there was a large courtyard in front of the main building, along with plenty of grassy walkways all around it as well. While the architecture and landscaping were attractive and expensive, the current condition of the lawn was less than inviting. Some sort of battle had seemingly taken place, as there were Japanese swords of various types and sizes embedded in the ground almost everywhere. Scorch marks and bullet holes, not to mention spent casings and shells, made it clear many types of weapons had been involved.

At the moment, things were quiet. Although they couldn't see inside the actual mansion from their current position. "Um...I think we should be really careful. Kurai, you don't happen to be, like, level 40 plus I hope?"

"Yeah, we had to tame one and bring it back to a farmer. I guess Dee Dee went back and got some more after that." It made sense, if their new Guild was based there. Hana smiled as she watched the sprite eggs being tended to, and the recently hatched dragon bonding with Hikari. "We can definitely use this map when we go visit their base. I think it only gives me bonus rewards though..."

As Enigma brought up their plans moving forward, Hana paused to think for a few moments. "...hmm, well it's getting harder to level up the higher we get. I need to keep doing B rank missions here in Tokyo to help the Guild as well. We've almost finished the challenge the system gave me when I started the Guild!"

Hana also listened closely as Dee Dee gave out advice on handling eggs and pets. She'd be the expert on the subject, at least among the other high level people she knew. It was going to be odd having another person hanging around all the time, for her to take care of, if the egg really hatched to reveal that sprite they'd befriended on their last mission.

Hana reached for the edge of the subway platform, easily propelling herself upwards to land on both feet, the surfboard simply vanishing into thin air a moment after being left behind.

The blonde was opening her mouth to say something else when she heard the shout from down the tunnel. She turned to look, blinking behind her glasses as she spotted someone walking quickly along the tracks. "Hey!" Hana just waved, not able to have much of a conversation from this distance. She'd have to wait for him to get closer to try to explain.

Hana didn't realize she was on camera! The musician looked quite surprised when she reached the next stop and found a small crowd of people waiting for her. "Woah! Hello!" She waved up to them, the rushing water under her board slowing to a sputter that simply kept her upright and steady.

The few people around Yasuko muttered something about 'anthem' and 'guild leader' before the crowd began to disperse, a few citizens awkwardly waving back at the blonde before wandering off. Apparently she wasn't an entirely unfamiliar sight in this zone. As the pink haired person was revealed due to the crowd thinning, Hana singled Yasuko out with a wave and a smile.

"Hey! Cool hair! Do you know a girl named Summer?" Her shouts echoed down the tunnel, towards Tristan. The runner was approaching from the opposite direction Hana had surfed, able to hear her a moment before rounding a corner, the two remaining figures visible. One on the platform, and one on the tracks. Well, on a surfboard on the tracks, to be exact.

Everytime the Stonks thought they had Hana, they were disappointed to find just another clone that vanished unsatisfyingly. The duplicates kept drawing the odd creatures further and further away from the others, who had their own enemies to deal with. And then, quite suddenly, the bouncing baddies realized they were surrounded by the small army of identical armored teens.

One by one the copies struck an identical pose, the motion rippling around the circle until it reached the real Hana, the only one wielding the crystalline guitar. "Don't blink!" While the other copies kept their hands raised, she quickly brought hers down to strum the guitar. "This is it!" A wail of sound was produced, tearing through the three Stonks she'd lured into this trap.

While the others might not be quite able to see what was going on between all the floating copies blocking the way, they could definitely hear it! Not to mention all the additional buffs they'd received, on top of the two Stonks they were left to handle being debuffed even further.
