Hikari Utano's Final Album[break][break]
Hana is one of the few dozen people to see the only performance of Hikari's latest album before its planned release, live and in person. And the only musician, at least the only one that's become part of this new world. Hundreds, possibly thousands of fans watched the unarchived live stream, but any personal recordings seem to have failed during the disastrous transition event. However, most fans would be able to identify these unreleased songs as Hikari's work, even if performed by someone else. Hana shares these songs both on stage and during combat.

passive: Shock and Awe (p) As a star, you can either cause targets around you whose [WIL] is equal or higher by one rank than your [PWR] rank to be [Shocked] or [Awed]. Those that are [Shocked] will have their [MAGI] drop by 20% for the remainder of the thread, while those that are [Awed] will have their [PWR] increased by 20% throughout the thread.

core You see the world as nothing more than a stage or platform for you to showcase your talents and abilities. While you thrive off of the excitement that the stage brings you, you have to give the audience what they crave as well. You are able to cause phenomena that are hard to explain to appear. You have three tools under your belt to aid you in this quest. Only one tool may be used at a time and will go on a cooldown once its use is spent.

Quick-Change: Target either a friend or foe that has a buff or debuff placed on them. You may reverse this status change for two posts before the effect reverts back to normal. If targeting an enemy, your [MAGI] stat must be higher than their [WIL] and they must be within 10 meters of you. This tool goes on a three-post cooldown once it has worn off.

Pyrotechnics: What is a live show without some flair? You’re able to cause a blinding light of sparklers and fireworks. This will blind enemies who have their [SPD] lower than your [PWR] This blinding effect last just a single post but this tool will go on a two-post cooldown once utilized.

Exit, Stage Right: A risky tool. You will spend a post building up the skill, unable to use your other tools or abilities while it charges. Once the post is done charging, you are able to cause yourself and any of your party members to be teleported out from where you are back to a Safe Zone. Can only be used once per thread.

Stagehand:You are able to summon a shadow figure that is your stagehand. While this shadow does not have any direct skills, it does obtain 30% of all your stats and can perform basic attacks once per post. This figure will disappear after four posts of being active or if its [VIT] is totally used up in combat. Has a four-post cooldown.

Idol Posing: Strike a pose to make your fans go wild. When the pose is struck. Allies get to choose two stats to increase by 10% for two posts, enemies will get a 10% debuff to [SPD] and [WIL], for two posts as they trip themselves over your beauty. It takes five posts to be ready to strike another pose.

Dance Routine: Feeling the rhythm, you magically create a number of illusionary dancing copies of yourself equal to your [MAGI] divided by 5, and can place them within a 30-meter radius. Each copy has [VIT] -2 ranks lower than your own. If your [MAGI] is stronger than their own it will draw monsters' attention (aggro). Additionally, you and your allies will have their [SPD] increased by 1 rank due to the increased rhythm, as well as having their bodies full of energy and ready to dance! To the view of others, it will give the illusion as if you and your allies are dancing. Lasts two posts, and has a five post cooldown.

Like so many others, Hana seemingly lost everything when the world was altered. Her parents, friends, and idol have all vanished. Her home, school and studio are unrecognizable. Something that resembles Tokyo may remain, but this new city is dangerous. Alien. Hana has changed as well, but if she wants to tame Neo Tokyo, she needs to truly understand it. To wield its power. A new world needs a new Hana, and she's been shown that the power to create requires the power to destroy as well.

passive: Symphogear(s) Your body creates natural armor on your whim that turns sound into a musical symphony, to strengthen you. Each post you make in a thread, while in combat, will increase your [MAGI] stat by 5 points. This boost is temporary and only applies to that thread. (You can choose to calculate it when needed, no need to do it every post unless you want.)

The gear loves instruments. If you are playing an instrument, ability cooldown is lowered by one post.

The gear creates armor that can defend up to your rank in [DEF] until it breaks. When broken it creates a small AoE (up to 5 meters) dealing your [PWR] worth of damage. It will take three posts to repair after breaking.

Star's Mic The microphone of a celebrity. Three times a thread, you can use its influence to boost your [WIL] by 20%. [break][break]
Unlimited Make-Up Kit A make-up kit that comes with anything and everything you may need. Once a thread, the make-up kit can allow you to totally change your appearance for two posts. People's [WIL] who is higher than yours will not be fooled. [break][break]
The Accursed Player A small MP3 with a great speaker, a shame it only plays one song. Three times per thread you can play Rockstar by Nickelback for all to hear in a fifty-foot radius. The song drives every listener mad and drops everyone who hears it [WIL] by 20% it raises the [PWR] by 40% as the desire to turn it off increases. It is a good thing the song only has a 2 post duration. [break][break]
Explosion! Staff (s) A staff said to be based off a mage from somewhere. This staff shoots out a standard size fireball at a target at users [SPD] when the wielder says “EXPLOSION!”. Upon contact with a target or surface the fireball explodes dealing +1 Rank [PWR] damage to all within three feet of what was hit. The staff's magical circuits are not up to par. The fireball can only be sent out once a post, and only three times in a thread. The duration for the fireball and explosion is one post. [break][break]
Phantom Guitar Three times per thread summon an ethereal purple guitar from your inventory. You may strum its strings causing all those within a 10-meter radius of you to be knocked back an amount equal to your [MAGI] divided by 10 in meters. You will also deal -1 rank your [PWR] in damage. [break][break]
Throwing Stars Three times per thread, you can throw one of these throwing stars at your [SPD]. They can go up to 15 meters away. If struck they cause your [PWR] up to A rank in damage. [break][break]
Thick Leather Jacket A thick black leather jacket that has a giant Earth-chan emoji sown on the back. The coat acts like armor, giving you a natural resistance equal to your [DEF] stat -1 rank. If the coat sustains more damage than this, it will unequip and go into your inventory to repair. This repair time is three posts. [break][break]
Shattered Heart Dagger A dagger that seems to be a red piece of glass that looks like a heart cracked in two. The dagger can cause your [PWR] -1 rank in basic damage per post, capping out at A rank [PWR] in damage. Three times per thread, when you deal damage to a target, you'll be able to sap away 10% of their [VIT] and give it to yourself! [break][break]
Crude Femur Club A club that a goblin has fashioned out of something's femur. This deals your [PWR] -1 rank in basic damage once per post. This caps out at dealing with B-rank damage. Three times per thread for a single post, you can cause your [PWR] to increase by 20%! [break][break]
Shield for Lovers A cute pink shield crafted in the shape of a heart. While the shield is typically only the size of a buckler or so, three times per thread it can emit a pink aura that causes the heart shield to expand to the extent that it can fully block two grown adults behind it. The shield can withstand your rank of [DEF] in damage before it breaks. Upon breaking, it will go on a three-post cooldown before it can be used again. [break][break]
War Chief's Victory Bracelet A bracelet worn by a fallen goblin war chief. The bracelet, three times per thread will grant a user a boost in size by 20% along with a boost to their [PWR] and [DEF] by 15% each for the following three posts. This cannot stack with itself.[break][break]
Broken Heart-Shaped Arrow An arrow that looks like it would be in the shape of a heart but its sadly been broken. This is a crafting item used for the Forge![break][break]
Archanid Eye Compass A black and fuzzy compass that when starred into one can see the illusion of a spider, three times per thread this spider's illusion can come to life and travel up to 30 meters at your [SPD] in any dictated direction. It has no offensive or defensive capabilities and a single instance of [VIT] equal to your own. You can link your visual senses with the spider's own once per post, every three posts. [break][break]
Waterlogged Handcanon A crude and bulky gauntlet with a canon strapped to the top. Three times per thread, you can launch a canon ball up to 20 meters away at your [SPD]. Upon impact, it will deal your [PWR] damage to the target struck. Upon striking, it will explode with pressurized water causing splash damage to all those within 2 meters of the impact zone. This area will suffer your [PWR] -1 rank in damage instead.[break][break]
Pirate's Treasure Map Three use item. Upon completing a mission in the [Draco Islands] region, you can activate this map to find a pirate-themed mystery box! (0/3)[break][break]
Escape Rope Escape out of a dungeon/event/pvp invasion with minimal to no loss. Only 1 can be owned at a time. [break][break]
Half a Medallion (unknown effect) [break][break]
Luck Potion x2 Temporarily increase your luck stat by +1 for a month. In use and boosting luck till May 13, 2023.[break][break]

Drivers License Gained the ability to use vehicles, bypassing the lock feature that the system placed on most modern-day technology. BEWARE! Too many strikes on your license can get it revoked! [break][break]
Blitzkrieg Pop Three times per thread, you can cause the song Blitzkrieg Pop to play throughout the thread. While doing this, your [SPD] and [PWR] increase by 10 points. The song lasts for one post at a time. [break][break]
Glitched Once per page of a thread, you can cause another person's ability to go haywire completely and be forced to end. Only works if your [MAGI] is greater than their [WIL]. [break][break]
Unison Raider The skill requires two more people. One must have a [Gift] or [Shelter] anchor type. When conditions are met the 3rd person can be treated as having the missing anchor type and activate [Holy Trinity] party synergy. [break][break]

With a smile, Summer took the second lead and then with a nod started to wander down the street so the dogs wouldn't get restless. "Well you certainly look like a star!" She gave Hana a playful wink before looking ahead to make sure they didn't run into anyone. "Oh and please just call me Summer or if you wanna give me a nickname you can, I don't mind! I used to dye my hair but ever since I got put here and got my class it doesn't seem like the dye is like... Fading and my roots aren't showing so I don't know, maybe the system just assumed this was my actual hair colour?" She gave a shrug.

Luckily looking at the maps let her know that there was a park somewhere nearby and she started to lead the dogs that way but she was happy to stop and let them sniff at things, using these as opportunities to crouch down and start giving them pets and cooing over them. "So what sorta stuff do you like doing, Hana? I know a lot of people have turned to like doing quests and hunting monsters and stuff but that can be pretty scary... I still like my art even if I occasionally have to go and save my pretend husband from some sorta giant monster." She grinned brightly and stood up as the dogs kept moving.

It was certainly a lovely day, a little on the cold side but the sun was out at least and the wind wasn't too rough. It was still strange to Summer seeing how quiet and empty the streets were these days, so many people just... Hadn't returned yet. Empty houses, empty shops, empty cafes, all staring out at the street. It was almost like something from the Twilight Zone or Silent Hill and she still hadn't gotten over the eeriness... However cute puppies definitely helped.

Dee Dee looked over as she heard a rather boisterous voice greet her and she waved at Mr.Beast, the only other summoner she ever did a mission with.. Well technically he wasn't a summoner he was a tamer which was different. She looked to Ragline and gave him a little thumbs up As Kramer gave Ragline a little highfive and BombDee did the same, Jimmy also gave an antenna wiggle to the feline like monster and nodded as Mr.Beast pet him quite happy to have gotten larger and stronger, being fully grown was nice and he was full of energy all the time now unlike when he was a larva. To answer Mr.Beasts question Dee Dee shook her head she hadn't seen any oft he boars as of yet but she knew they were in the area, the tracks were all over the place.

She then seen someone else walking up and she waved to Arcana, glad to see she was doing well, and as the girl walked over Dee De gently pets Ragline on the head her Word bubble popping up "Yeah I am here too I got the mission and I have dealt with Rush boars before so I know a bit on how to deal with them, and don't worry about missing any messages, it happens, but you made it anyway" she gave a thumbs up to her as her Word bubble informed of this, she was just glad another friend made it. It would make this a lot easier to deal with with more people. alone she had to deal with a few but had to do it in a much more careful way but with this many people? it should be rather easy to deal with a few boar.

Then something else friend shaped came over the hill and into view, and Dee Dee waved to Mikael as he called out to her she gave him a thumbs up "Hey Mikael you got here just on time, glad to see you joined up too! just a bit of warning with Rush boars, they are rather nasty when they get up speed, as the name suggests they are quite fast, but that doesn't mean they are weak or light, they are one of the new monster like animals that have some abilities so be careful and don't try to take a hit unless you really need to, they hit like Battering rams!" the word bubble advised him and let him get acquainted with Mr.Beast

One person that Dee Dee had invited as she remembered him talking about wanting to hunt and learn about more animals was Idir, and he just arrived then and she waved to him, last time they met Dee Dee didn't have her whole team that she had now, and with him walking up and greeting Mr.Beast it seemed he knew him and that also worked to introduce Mikael and Arcana to Mr.Beast, and it Seemed Idir was still able to do that smelling trick, so that was going to be handy, "Yes we are dealign with rush boar, hopefully only the sows are around the Bulls can get rather large and belligerent but considering the job I don't doubt that's what we will have to deal with.. unless samething else is causing them to get even more agitated in the surrounding areas" she clarified to Idir with her Word bubble.

That's when the final person arrived, a new person from the fact that Dee Dee never met her before, and if she never met them before then it was likely that they didn't have a beginners guide, this meant Dee Dee could give them one of her newest ones after the mission was done! The girl introduced herself as Alessandra and Dee Dee waved to her as her Word bubble popped up "Hello there Alessandra I'm Dee Dee and I am a summoner! These are my friends BombDee the Waddle-dee, Kramer the Baby Dragon, and Jimmy the Fire Ant!, and these are my other friends, everyone greet who you don't know!" the word bubble exclaimed as Dee Dee was quite happy to see everyone here now.

After a bit of time when everyone was done introducing themselves and greeting each other Dee Dee nodded and looked around "Okay we are dealing with Rush Boar, they are dangerous monster like Animals with the ability to make themselves faster suddenly This means they are much faster then their size would have to believe, so be careful they hit hard and move fast, but they can only charge in a straight line so if you dive to the side you should be able to get out of the way, don't try to hop over them they can and will try to lunge to catch you. if you can stay out of sight that works to, just try not to have them coming at you in large groups! if you have ranged abilities attack them from the trees or from on large rock formations that they can't get on top of, and lastly if you have to fight in melee attack from the side, they take a bit of time to turn around so you should be able to get in a hit and back off to give you space to evade their follow up attack, remember they are faster then you think so don't get greedy, with how many we might have to deal with also try to make sure that one person doesn't take to much attention okay!?" The word bubble expanded so all of her speech and advice could be seen

It was then a ding was heard as Dee Dee actually gained a level due to her subclass and she looked over at her level up menu and pressed the stat button on it, she was one level off of forty now and apparently her sub-class gave her EXP from helping others learn that was handy! With that she nodded to everyone and she started to lead the way into the area where the boars were being a bother in, this mission likely was going to be a tough one what with recommending how many should come when she took the mission, she just hoped it nothing bad will happen

In most instances, combat on site will be between player characters and monsters or other threats the players themselves are narrating and controlling. As such, your stats, equipment, and abilities are simply guidelines to enable RP. However, this guide will attempt to explain the generally accepted mechanics the site runs on. [break][break]
Whenever you are presented with a monster created by staff, these guidelines will be taken more seriously. If you are not allowed to narrate the monster, and staff posts for and controls it directly, they will be taken even more seriously. If you choose to enter a thread, dungeon, or other event that limits the equipment you can bring, expect these guidelines to be taken much, much more seriously. [break][break]
In short, the better the rewards you would gain from an encounter, the closer staff will expect you to follow these guidelines. [break][break]

Compare SPD [break][break]
Some attacks and abilities, usually for ranged attacks and projectiles, will specify the SPD the attack is made at. Otherwise you assume the attack's SPD is the attacker's SPD. [break][break]
If the target's SPD is two or more ranks higher than the SPD of the attack, and there is no hindering terrain or other movement penalties involved, the target will generally be able to completely avoid the attack as long as they have room to move and choose to dodge. If their SPD is one rank higher, they can avoid the attack if they take no other offensive action on their following post, and focus entirely on moving away. [break][break]
Any abilities or other effects that specify a chance to dodge or avoid attacks overrules this. [break][break]

Damage Reduction [break][break]
Some abilities or equipment will reduce incoming damage, either by ranks or percentages. This reduction is applied as soon as the attack hits and before armor is considered. [break][break]
Every stat rank is worth four of the rank below it. For example, one B rank is worth four C ranks. If you reduced a B rank attack's damage by -50%, you'd end up with roughly two C ranks worth of damage incoming. [break][break]

Armor Absorption [break][break]
Items, and sometimes abilities or skills, may be able to absorb damage before it can reach a target. These usually say something like 'absorbs damage up to DEF rank'. [break][break]
Simply enough, they absorb up to the rank of damage listed. For example, if a B rank attack hit a C rank shield, it would absorb 1/4 C ranks making up the B rank, and leave 3/4 behind to hit the target directly. [break][break]
Attacks of a lower rank than protective equipment have no mechanical effect and do not weaken the equipment, unless its description says otherwise. [break][break]

Target DEF [break][break]
Once an attack has broken through any reduction or armor, it encounters the target's DEF stat itself. You compare the DEF rank against the remaining attack rank exactly as in the earlier step. A target's personal DEF stat is never broken or ignored, and always absorbs damage before the target's VIT, unless the damage is [piercing] or other specific effects are involved. [break][break]
For example, if a 3x C rank attack hit a B rank DEF, it would count as hitting/damaging the target, but not deal any actual VIT damage. It would probably still hurt! [break][break]
If a B rank attack hit C rank DEF, it only loses 1/4 of its power, dealing 3x C rank damage to the target's VIT. [break][break]

VIT Damage [break][break]
Taking damage to VIT is the final step of the attack process. Every rank has the same imaginary four 'chunks' that make it up, which you can consider your HP. When a target loses the final four 'negative rank' chunks that make up F rank VIT, they are defeated. Monsters disappear, and characters die. You're going to want to avoid that! [break][break]
Losing this VIT 'HP' doesn't lower your VIT rank when used in any other calculations. [break][break]
For example, if you have B rank VIT and take C rank damage past all your armor and DEF, you drop to 3/4 B rank. Or 3x C rank. Or 19/20 HP. [break][break]
If you have C rank VIT and take B rank damage to your VIT, you are dead. This is why it's not a good idea to ignore DEF and armor.
