Panya was so innocent. Kurai would have thought that an archaeologist would be a bit more logical, but her interest seemed to be more rooted in belief than curiosity. Nowadays it would be hard not to believe. “I enjoy your optimism Panya. All I can say for sure is that Santa has gotta be real now. What do you think Seere?” The demon didn't stop collecting presents as they answered. “Can we say for sure that any of us were real before?” “Ooookay. Weirdo...”[break][break] With Seere done being creepy Kurai turned his attention toward something more cheery. “I think the mission said that someone will come pick up the presents when we're done. So I guess once we collect enough of them something will appear? I wonder what it'll be?” He picked up one of the gifts nearby and then shook it to see what was inside. The sound of something breaking and rattling around caused him to toss it to the side. Elara listened with as much sincerity as possible, especially to the absolute degree to which Panya asserted Santa's existence. She had to stop herself from making a face, but who was Eel to deny any of the absurdity happening since Globe-chan had moved in an taken things over? If nothing made sense, then why shouldn't ol Saint Nick be real?

"Uh yeah, totally." Not that Elara *believed*, but hey, should could at least suspend some disbelief, yeah? She found herself genuinely nodding at Seere's comment, however. Indeed, how could we know any of this was real? For all Elara knew she was actually in a purgatory-construction of a dying mind, the last gasp of her pineal gland or some nonsense. Maybe she had in fact been killed by lightning.

Regardless, her chest hurt from Hermey's attack, and for now she was living day to day, gathering presents more presently. Eel gathered one last envelope and moved to a more conversational place near the group. She smirked when Kurai clearly destroyed a present. Hells, lots of gifts probably got ruined just falling from the sky. How'd they even get up there, anyways? Did the sleigh's gyroscope malfunction, causing the thing to tilt? Did the present factory where all the stuff was made (or more likely bought at cost from other manufacturers and retailed for free) explode? Elara was getting lost in the sauce, and so diverted.

"Would be kind of funny if the ones they were sending were those two we fought." She was only half-joking, but continued. "Oh, I'm Elara by the way. Pleasure to meet y'all." Eel would have offered a hand to shake or something, but was full up on Santa's errant gifts. "I think I'd just ask for something practical. Like a hair tie that you don't have to constantly re-do because it gets loose. Or maybe a nice journal to write in." she added, shaking more snow off her.

Panya was happy to at least have a mind to believe in Santa. After all, who would leave the presents underneath the tree? The santas at the mall were just his helpers, who each took down every item on their visitor's lists and relayed them to the actual Santa. It all made so much sense when you looked at it in a certain way, after all! The archeologist beamed at the two as they agreed as she'd help Seere start cleaning up presents again. There was little to really else do with the elf defeated! A few more presents found their way into her hands as they laid on the ground. Panya, the ever peppy adventurer, would look to the other woman of the group at her point about the two they had defeated being the ones responsible for getting the gifts in the first place. She said nothing, a bit embarrassed the idea had never come to her. But technically, they attacked them first. Sooo...self defense? "It's wonderful to meet you, Elara." Panya said, carrying her scooped up presents to meet with Seere's and Kurai's. She swung around to offer a bow, while the sarcophagus behind her would close itself to her. "I'm Panya, and this is Kurai and Seere. We're a band of adventurers, although I'm searching for secrets in the world myself." she snickered to herself, looking at the other two men before turning back to Elara. Dee Dee had received the notification that another group had finished the mission and so she headed to the area they were reported to be by Earth-chan, she had CaveDee, BombDee and TreeDee with her since they were on Draco island and it was relatively safe here, though with her were a large group of more Waddle-dee and a few Waddle-doo, It was a nice event, if a little chaotic for the girl. As she drew closer to the location, the change happened to her again and she was poofed back into the From of Waddle-Dee Dee, complete with a christmas hat and a large satin sack to put all the gifts into, and she hopped about happily once more as she quite enjoyed physically being a Waddle-dee, it just felt very amusing and was a dream of hers since she was... well not smaller.. but younger! After all. It Was then Waddle-Dee Dee and her little army of Waddle-dee and Waddle-doo came around to the group, Looking around Dee Dee waved to Kurai and Panya who she knew, and then to the new person before scooting over and a quest marker popped up over her head as the system notified them to give their gifts to Waddle-Dee Dee the Honorary Santa's helper! CaveDee meanwhile noticed the one Elf still eyeing up the group from a distance, clearly trying to build up the Courage to go after them again, Walking up behind the monster CaveDee looked at it a moment then looked back to the group then back to the creature, and finally the elf looked at CaveDee and blinked a moment as it was surprised and caught off guard. CaveDee only raised his club and with a simple "Ooga!" Smashed the Elf into the ground, Driving him like a post into the ground and then scooting off to join the others, the monster rather soundly defeated. Waddle-Dee Dee meanwhile got all the gifts and letters from the group and gave a little wave as the system message popped up "Gifts have been received by Waddle-Dee Dee Mission complete Rewards will be sent to you once the gifts are returned to the boss man!" and with that Waddle-Dee Dee headed off... or tried to.. the sack was once again far to full for a single Waddle-Dee Dee to carry and so the other Waddle-Dee rushed around the bag and helped to lift it and all together they scooted away, with the Waddle-Doo, CaveDee, and BombDee acting as guards while TreeDee helped carry the large gift filled Sack panya kurai Elara Salisbury |
