It had been an exciting day at the natural history museum, as Nuru stood with the other school children. Some looked on in wonder beside her while the majority were busy talking with friends or sneaking off to some of the other exbibits. While walking down the hallway into the history of Ireland, Nuru had found herself drawn towards the Egyptian wing that had been recently unveiled. Her small feet took her into the grand display of King Tutankhamun's sarcophagus on display. Her eyes glided over every inch in solitude as she ready from every blurb across the walls and stands. She had read about the many pharaohs and gods of her country, having found herself enthralled from their feats of miracles, blessings, even their divine punishments. Yet the more she stared at the artefact hidden behind impenetrable glass, Nuru had could only sit and wonder what it would have been like to just climb inside a container like that and to shut out every other thing and enjoy her own vices. Maybe it was why she enjoyed being a recluse so much, being able to be herself without worry of what others thought about her. It was only a short while later that a teacher would come and reclaim her as they moved on with the tour.

The Stalwart of Bes is a protector blessed with a famed sarcophagus and its contents that rest within. For whatever reason, you have been chosen by both the mighty and the slumbering to be a representative. As such you have been given a spark of their power to make use as your own to further protect yourself or others of your choosing. You gain the ability to summon a solid gold sarcophagus that has been reinforced through magic from your inventory. This looks similar if not completely identical to that of King Tut's mirroring its size being: 223.5cm in length, 83.8cm at its widest point, and 105.5cm at its highest point. Though there is no handle you find that by simply touching it can stick to any part of your hands as if it had one, allowing you to grab and freely maneuver it from any area of its surface. This sarcophagus has both a "[Closed]" and "[Open]" state, the latter of which will expose the creature inside, and possibly grant different aspects to the ability utilized. You may [Close] and [Open] it at will, however, there is a (1) one-post cooldown in between doing so. Starting out your core grants you two methods to utilize.[break][break]

Upgrades at B-Rank [PWR] or [MAGI].[break][break]
While [Open] the Mummy is urged to condemn a target enemy. Cursing them with [Tut’s Damnation] causing them to take 20% more damage from all sources, and causing damage over time effects to deal damage at +1 Rank (this instead of the 20% increase).[break][break]
While [Closed] the user may activate this ability to have the sarcophagus become a cursed object to those that strike against it. Attacks the sarcophagus is used to block deal damage back at the enemy equal to the damage dealt -1 rank. The sarcophagus does not need to successfully block the damage for this to trigger.[break][break]

STALWART OF BES
Protect the joys of this world, and yourself
STAT BONUS
+DEF, +2 VIT[break][break]PASSIVE: Keeper of the King
Trapped within your sarcophagus lies a slumbering creature known simply as "The Mummy" this creature is more akin to an item rather than a summon or pet. This Mummy has an [DEF] and [VIT] equal to your own, and you may transfer damage over to the mummy instead. If the damage accumulated would cause you to succumb to them and die, you may sacrifice the mummy instead in your steed. Effectively causing your passive to be null for the rest of the thread.[break]Upgrades at [VIT] Rank S.

You may [Close] and [Open] it at will, however, there is a (1) one-post cooldown in between doing so. Starting out your core grants you two methods to utilize.[break][break]
- Protect: While [Closed] the sarcophagus glows with a light that solidifies around it allowing it to act as a shield. You cannot be pushed back by or wince at an opponent's attack weaker than your [DEF]. This light is equal to your [DEF] +1 Rank.[break][break]
While [Open] the sarcophagus will open slightly, causing threads of bandages to burst from out the sarcophagus, they glow with a light that solidifies around it, and the bandages will expand in a triangular shape creating an AoE shield equal to your [MAGI] / 10 in meters in size and equal to your [DEF] in durability. Last 2 posts, 3 posts cool down.
[break]
- Bash: The sarcophagus feels lighter in your grip, not only that but you feel lighter and stronger. Increase your [PWR] by +1 Rank for the duration of the ability if the sarcophagus is [Closed] or your [MAGI] by +1 Rank if the sarcophagus is [Open].[break][break]
Additionally, when [Closed] you can smash your sarcophagus into a target to deal [crushing] melee damage to a target equal to your [PWR] once per post.[break][break]
While [Open] the mummy releases an ominous aura, in all directions equal to your [MAGI] / 10 meters away to deal damage equal to your [MAGI]. Last 2 posts, 3 posts cool down.

Strangler:
Once per post using your sarcophagus as a battering ram, or large club, dealing [basic] melee damage equal to your [PWR] -1 rank if [Closed]. If the sarcophagus is [Open] it instead can fire a [basic] blast of energy up to [10 meters] for [MAGI] -1 rank.[break][break]Every three successfully landing attacks if your [VIT] is higher than the opponent's own, a magical burst of cursed energy will launch itself at the target atrophying their limbs and reducing their their [PWR] by 50% for 2 posts before resetting. Tut’s Curses
This ability has a varying effect based on if the sarcophagus is [Open] or [Closed].[break][break]While [Open] the Mummy is urged to condemn a target enemy. Cursing them with [Tut’s Damnation] causing them to take 20% more damage from all sources, and causing damage over time effects to deal damage at +1 Rank (this instead of the 20% increase).[break][break]

Embalming
Activating this ability gives the user the [Embalm] buff for [Two Posts]. While active if Panya, or the Mummy, would take lethal damage and die as a result due to damage in a thread they instead become Embalmed. Making them immune to damage for [Two Posts] if activated. During this time all healing they receive is at 25% strength. If they are not healed before the end of the buff they will still die from damage as normal. This ability has an [Eight Post] cooldown.[break][break]locked

EQUIPMENT
items, weapons, armour, pets etc.
Escape Rope
Escape out of a dungeon/ event/ pvp invasion with minimal to no loss. Only 1 can be owned at a time.[break][break]Water Elemental Crystal
An ocean blue stone, it is pretty to look at. It has no use but is said to be a decent crafting material. [break][break]Anubis’ Bandages
A full body covering of bandages that can be worn under clothing, they are considerably more comfortable then one would think. Being a tool to send people to the death god they are incredibly sturdy able to absorb blows up to the wearer’s [DEF] +1 before breaking. Unlike most regenerating items however the bandages replenish after only a single rotation. Additionally twice a thread, the wearer can use these bandages to channel the energy of the dead, dealing their wearer’s [MAGI] - 1 plus the wearer’s [DEF] x the number of times it has replenished in a thread. [break][break]The Mummy’s Heart
A ring with a simple heart crest with three black gems. While worn the wearer heals themself and any undead they are connected to through skills or class abilities for 5% [VIT] every rotation. [break][break]Half Forge Key (Devil’s Triangle)
Combine this with the Half Forge Key (Motor City) to access the Forge on Ender Island! [break][break]Pumpkin Carving Knife
This deadly weapon is made from 100% pure pumpkin! From the green, stem-like handle to the bright orange blade, there's no denying its festive composition. Thankfully it's still sharp and sturdy, letting you deal your PWR rank in melee damage once per post, up to A rank. In case you were wondering, yes, it's actually great for carving pumpkins, causing any plant-like enemy damaged by it to take your PWR rank -1 in [bleeding] damage the next post. Equipping it boosts your PWR by 5%, and also causes you to exude a pleasant pumpkin spice scent. [break][break]Knifeproof Pumpkin
This pumpkin-shaped hunk of orange metal can be used as a shield, absorbing your DEF rank in damage, up to A rank, before shattering. After three posts the shield will reappear in your inventory at full strength, ready to be equipped again, but only once per thread. While equipped you take -50% less [slashing] or [piercing] damage, and any [bleeding] effects on you end one post earlier. [break][break]Miniature Sphinx
This toy sphinx fits in the palm of your hand, and asks a different riddle every time you pull its string. The eyes even light up, green for correct answers and red for incorrect! It can also be used as a crafting material in the Forge. [break][break]Half Forge Key (Motor City)
Combine this with the Half Forge Key (Devil's Triangle) to access the Forge on Ender Island! [break][break]Sensible Golden Shoes
For being so comfortable and otherwise boring, these shoes sure do look flashy. Three times per thread you can dash for one post at your movement SPD +1 rank, up to A rank, taking half damage from damaging terrain. [break][break]New World Atlas
A wide, haphazardly organized book of maps, no two created by the same person or annoted the same way. Difficult to decipher, this atlas only reveals its secrets when taken into a mission of C rank or above. Specify an item that does not have the [Forged] tag you wish to research in the inventory of a participant of the mission in your first post. After linking this thread in Moderation, a new objective will be added to the mission related to this item, requiring you to complete this in addition to the the standard mission requirements. [break][break]If you complete the mission and bonus objective, at the end of the mission you will be awarded a crafting material with the [Artifact - X] tag, where X is the name of the item originally chosen. When an [Artifact] is combined in the Forge with its associated item, an additional bonus will be applied during the creation process. This bonus does not stack with the bonus from the skill Sommelier. [break][break]

Squisher
When fighting bugs, spiders, and insects. Lower their effectiveness against you, by 10% while raising yours against them by 10%. (Meaning you get an all around 10% buff and they get a 10% debuff.) [break][break]Sommelier
When using the Forge, you may either ask which crafting material you possess would best combine with a particular item, or which item best matches a certain material. Following this suggestion will improve the item created. [break][break]Astral (Tag)
When entering portals into the astral realm you can allocate 25% of your [SPD] and [PWR] stats into [WIL] and [MAGI]. It takes one post less for you to adjust to astral movement. In addition, dungeons or missions that would require the class tag 'astral' can be accessed. [break][break]Drivers License
Gain the ability to use vehicles, bypassing the lock feature that the system placed on most modern-day technology. Too many strikes on your license can get it revoked! [break][break][attr="class","unb-credit"]SELKIE
