They looked to be cute quadruple creatures, so he wondered if it was worth killing them. Either way, she had no time to wonder about the little details as she witnessed them scampered off before she could act. "Damn! They're fast!" She quickly took out her cards, but she stopped to notice how fast the Stonks were running. "ARGH! I can't use my cards without damaging the products if they keep this up!"[break][break]
The rest of the party seemed to fare better than her as she noticed Dee Dee had already taken out one out of three thanks to others' contributions. Looking around, she knew she needed to act or else. "Screw it. I rather not make card explosions than risk destroying everything here by accident. Jester, you're up!" She tossed 6 tarot cards including The Fool and focused all of her magic to summon her armored jester. "Catch those little thieves! But don't destroy everything else here!"[break][break]
The Jester raised its lance and quickly chased after the Stonk. As for Arcana, she first tossed The Fool, which used its gravity abilities to pull her toward the Stonk. And then, tossed a card from her [Deck Holster], hopefully, to damage it while sticking it to its head. While she refrained from using her cards to funnel into another explosion, this one was weak enough to use without any risks to the materials in the warehouse. Everyone seems to have burst into action! Mikael himself stopped for a moment, and watched as his team started to do things on their own. Truthfully, he was hoping to start attracting the attention of the creatures, thereby making it easier for his team to dispatch them at the same time. Though, it seems as though that wasn't needed. They were engaging them each on their own, which left Mikael just a bit confused.

In any case, he didn't stand there idle for long. While the rest of his team engaged their own Stonk, he looked towards the one where the person named Arcana was engaging. They were using some sort of cards, it seems. Mikael drew his sword and got his shield ready, before charging forward.

Lifting his sword, he made to slice into the Stonk as Arcana seemed to be doing something with their cards. He was hoping to attract its attention, giving Arcana the chance to just focus fire on the creature. His shield was in handy just in case of any friendly fire. "On me, creature!" He grunted, before lifting the fist that gripped the sword, and bashing it once more, effectively dealing two instances of damage to it. Hopefull each connected, and hopefully, it drew its attention to him. He would be useful this way. "Dump your damage, I can take it!" He grinned at Arcana.

LaFey grit her teeth in hatred of these little things. She was not a full minute inside of the warehouse and was ready and willing to cleanse every last one of them through this mission. Everyone was quick to act out and hurrying to act and throw themselves against the infestation of Stonks. She wasn’t one to dally in pain any longer. LaFey balled her fists and was ready to get started on killing. But first things first, she needed a weapon of her own. Andy pulled out a knife. Classic, small and fast. But not refined enough. Dee Dee had…problems. But Mikael, that plucky young hero of the story, had a much more fitting weapon worthy of her presence.
LaFey pointed at it as the bastard sword surrounded itself with pop up windows. Numbers inside of these windows counted at speeds that were inhumane. They stayed for only a moment as in front of her appeared a copy of Mikael’s sword. It wasn’t without issue. LaFey’s copy had cracks and looked way more battle damaged. But as long as the blade could do what any sword should, it would work.
”Alright. Let’s squash some vermin.” LaFey followed through and went to help Mikael. Her attack on the stonk was weaker than his own, but such was the price of her service. The little card master showed some kind of hesitation to launch explosive attacks inside of the warehouse in fear of damaging the merchandise. She rolled her eyes again. ”Either you destroy it or the Stonks will. Don’t let a few mice scare you away from throwing the pantry into the garbage.” She barked at Arcana. Mikael mirrored somewhat of the same sentiment but about taking damage from her attack. She hoped he would be alright taking the brunt of the damage.

The first creature squealed as Andy slashed at it, the impact sending it half skidding and half rolling away. It used this momentum to scuttle around a shelf, strange little hooves skittering across the floor. It didn't go much further though, as the chef could spot it almost as soon as he turned the corner, face buried in a giant loaf of bread it was devouring to regain its strength!

The one that had wound up in Dee Dee's arms flailed about uselessly until it succumbed to its wounds, passing out as X's began comically floating around its head. "One down I see." Kitty was waiting near the door, craning her neck to peer around towards the stonk that had been subdued by the small one and her menagerie. A system menu was floating near her, cataloging the missing items that were being steadily returned to the Guild's inventory.

The third stonk had attempted to take to the air to escape, borrowed wings flapping furiously! Arcana's card sent it plummeting to the ground, bouncing as if it were made of rubber, before two swords plunged into it nearly at once. The strange creature flopped about for a moment before vanishing in a geyser of golden sparkles and fireworks, another item safely returned.

Of course, with the momentary pause in combat the group could hear more squealing and grunting further inside the warehouse...

[break][break] ANCHOR TYPE: GIFT [break][break] Brief Description Stonks. There's three (more) of them. [break][break] [basic] attacks [MAGI] rank in ranged damage at [SPD] once per post each [break][break] Passive: Run Away! - Stonks will continuously attempt to run from anyone engaging them in combat, only to loop back around to aim for weaker targets. They can each avoid one instance of damage and immediately move away at their [SPD], but then cannot avoid attacks this way again until they have dealt damage to a target. [break][break] Each Stonk may only use one of the following abilities within any post rotation. [break][break] Finned Torrent - Once every other post the stonk unleashes a torrent of water that sprays upward in a 10 meter radius around it. This torrent of water deals damage equal to its [MAGI] and moves outwards at its [SPD]. If its [MAGI] is higher than the target's [DEF] stat then the torrent of water will launch them upwards 5 meters. [break][break] Croc Snap - The stonk will project a fearsome set of jaws that chomps at any target within melee range, doing its [PWR] -1 rank in damage twice per post. [break][break] Freshly Waxed - The stonk will evade damage a second time every post rotation, although it still has to make an attack between the two instances of avoidance! It moves away at its [SPD] +1 rank after each dodge. While Andy was pursuing his own Stonk his allies managed to finish off the other two. He was certain that he'd be able to take it out quickly by himself, but things didn't quite go as planned. His attack just sent the creature reeling instead of finishing it off outright. It makes sense he wouldn't be able to do the same damage as a group. That didn't make it any less frustrating that was he the only one who couldn't finish off his prey. [break][break] Not only that but as he followed the Stonk he noticed it chowing down on a huge loaf of bread! The damn thing stopped for a snack in the middle of the battle. At least Andy kept moving while shoving food into his mouth. All this creature did was make itself an easier target for his blades that once again tried to make contact with the pig-like beast's weak point. Hopefully, this would be the last of it. [break][break] Unbeknownst to him while Andy was trying to finish off what he thought was the last Stonks even more arrived to challenge his companions. Luckily they were strong. Well most of them. Dee Dee looked at the new Stonks that showed up, she really couldn't go fight what with the captive stonk in her arms, well she could use her wand at least, and so she got her summons to go after one of the stonks as she watched over them, making sure to hold the bound Stonk carefully since she figured Mr.Beast would be curious about the creature.

BombDee rushed forward at the one stonk they were targeting and took a swing at the creature with his power punch, but as he was about to make contact the Creature jumped away and made space between them keeping an eye on the Waddle-dee as it seemed to be acting all smug at having been missed almost dancing as if taunting the Waddle-dee

Kramer rushed forward and aimed a tail swat at the stonk, and once more the creature dodged to the side just barely getting out of the way in time as Kramer flew by it and still the Stonk was dancing and acting all smug and arrogant teasing the two summons,

With the order motion from Dee Dee Jimmy moved forward and activated the Deerstalker hat going into stealth as it moved into a flanking position while the other two attacked the stonk, and as he moved the other two attacked the stonk to lead it towards him, BombDee causing it to dodge backwards, then Jimmy moved to a good position and Kramer's tail swipe caused it to dodge once more and stop and dance where Jimmy was waiting, and so Jimmy lashed out from stealth and attacked the Stock with his Gnaw attack and flames erupted from it's mouth as it lifted the Stonk and give it a German Suplex knocking the Stonk out

Dee Dee walked over happy to see they didn't kill the creature and that she really didn't need to fight to deal with it, her friends were really quite capable and she gave them a thumbs up as she bound the second knocked out Stonk so she had two of them now and she gave them a hug as she made sure they were not to injured but were well bound so they couldn't escape. and she gave a nod quite glad she got two of them and she waited to see how everyone else was.

She would be annoyed that she would be killing more cute-looking monsters, but more rare monsters meant more loot. There was no way she would let it slip away from her chance of loot and cards! Although her [Fractured Divination] was about to expire. At the same time, she didn't want to recklessly make some unnecessary explosions. That was until a man named Mikael teased her to dump all of the damage on him.[break][break]
"Do you have a death wish or something?" Arcana said before she hummed when she saw Mikael. He did have a sword and shield, a set of weapons perfect for a Tank-type class like a Paladin or Defender. "On the other hand, you have the equipment. I'll try to go wild if you like."[break][break]
While she said that, her armored jester was busy chasing the new set of Stonks as it stabbed one of them with its spear. It then tried to stab another, but its body started to disappear as its master noticed this. "Don't worry. We'll deal with the rest. Do what you can until then!" Arcana pulled out another blank card and threw one of the Stonks. Then she tossed her [King of Wands] to the one that her jester stabbed. "Alright, people! Please be mindful of fireworks! AKA mine. She snapped her fingers and the Wands card exploded just as the jester disappeared. Yeah, this might cost her some items in the warehouse, but it was worth the theatrics for others to see. The battle was still on, and just like any sort of battle like this, where multiple people were involved, everything gets a bit more hazy. This meant that Mikael could not even tell you what everybody else was doing, save for those close to him. And the closest one was the woman behind him.

Her comment made him chuckle, "Don't worry, this is what I am meant to do." Taking damage was easy, it was his class' main role. However, it was also a double-edged blade because it hurt like hell. But if it meant taking down these creatures, then he was more than happy to take the heat,

When another set of Stonks came out of nowhere, Mikael immediately brought up his shield. He didn't pause, and quickly lunged towards one of them. The lights, however, that came from the woman he was just conversing with, blinded him for a moment, and so he wasn't so sure if his sword connected. Instead, he turtled back, sword ready to strike if another of these creatures came at him.

Mikael clanged his shield and his sword together, trying to gain the attention of whatever creatures were left. "Over here!" He goaded, though he was sure the loud noise after the explosion would be heard well and true. He raised his shield once more, sword pointed outward in a menacing formation. Perhaps he was able to grab the attention of one or two!

The first few stocks were dealt with rather quickly. La Fey could handle herself even with a shoddy weapon. Heavens know what kinds of scenarios she found herself in with a broken pipe, three hit men and a dream. But for every little rat one person would manage to catch and dispose of, another three took their place. Weapons slashed at these little vermin who were now employing some of the items contained in the boxes to fight back against their attackers. This was turning into quite the spectacle indeed. "This entire warehouse is just a spawning ground at this point. " Lay Fey commented dryly. The copy of Kael's sword pierced through some stray Her pep talk to Arcana hadn't gone unnoticed but what surprised her was the sweet, bookish hero that was Mikael teasing this woman to unload everything she had onto him. It could be a fool seeking to go down in a blaze of glory or that he knew he could take whatever hit him. La Fey had a feeling that he was stronger than his bumbling hero act let on. It was cute, in a way. Arcana then wasted no time having her jester friend explode. Colorful plumes of fire scorched some of the stones along with some of the goods on the shelves. More skewered stonks were stabbed through her blade that were scraped off using the edge of her heel. Everyone else was faring a little bit better than her. The rotund creature let out a squeal of pain, half-chewed chunks of bread flying everywhere, before the strange beast disappeared in an explosion of gold coins. They unfortunately vanished a few moments later as well, before Andy could consider grabbing for them. Even the bread didn't stick around, popping back into the Guild's storage as Kitty updated her status screen.

Nearby the smugly dancing Stonk was rewarded with a chomp followed by a suplex, bouncing along the floor like a ball before skidding to a stop near Dee Dee. Kitty looked up from her menu, but otherwise seemed disinterested as the small Guild leader secured the two beasts she'd subdued for later examination. She'd given up on understanding that one.

The remaining monster chomped at the summoned jester once with a set of phantom jaws, hastening its departure...before explosions sent it skidding across the warehouse to ricochet off Mikael's shield! The poor thing wriggled its stumpy little legs uselessly, trapped on its back for La Fey to stab at! Although the trio soon realized its friends were planning revenge, as two more Stonks popped out of nearby shelves to crash into the woman's ankles.

Slapping and tugging at them with her bare hands didn't seem to help, as they stay firmly latched on while the one Stonk the trio had dispatched disappeared. Across the warehouse, Andy could see the disturbance...as well as spot the expected third beast doing its best to sneak up on Arcana...

The Stonk exploding into a shower of gold coins was disappointing. Andy was looking forward to seeing what they tasted like, but it seemed that wasn't in the cards. Most of the reason he went after the fattest one was because he would be able to harvest more from it. He couldn't even take the gold coins or the bread with him as they disappeared as well. At least his Harvest Season ability worked. [break][break] As he was cursing his luck he managed to catch sight of another one of the creatures sneaking up on one of his guildmates. Damn things kept spawning like rats. No. The rats were much easier to kill. No wonder Kitty was having a hard time dealing with them all. Andy didn't even know her name to properly warn her. All he could do was yell a “Look out!” before shoving a piece of tiger jerky in his mouth and clicking his heels together. [break][break] He dashed at the creature and as he got close he dove at it with his hand outstretched. Most of his fingers holding the knife were pointed out with only his thumb left to hold onto the handle. When he got close he attempted to rake his fingers across the Stonk's side. Wherever the rubber of his glove touched skin easily peeled away leaving the beast weakened. [break][break] That wasn't the end of his assault though. He flew by the Stonk after diving at it before tumbling along the ground and quickly jumping back to his feet. After taking full hold of his knife he threw himself at his prey once more. Although he couldn't see its weak point anymore Andy still tried to slash his blades across its belly. Dee Dee was happily Brushing and tending to the two stonks, making sure they were well secured and recovering, but keeping them asleep, she was glad she had caught them, they were mischievous and they hadn't hurt anyone so she hoped they would calm down in a more open environment and taught to be nicer, then she heard one of her allies yelling and she looked over, okay they were clearly not harmless but by the same token they did attack them first, but hopefully Dee Dee could find a way to if not domesticate them, then at least co-exist with them.

It was then she looked up and spotted more of the little blighters and she blinked a bit as they moved around, she waved to one and hoped it would come after her rather then the others in the room after all Dee Dee was trying to capture the little oddballs not kill them and thankfully the mission seemed to allow for that since they were still being dealt with and defeated. so when the stonk came at her she gave a little nod.

Then As it came at Dee Deeshe stood there as tusks came out of it's mouth and it charged at her and Dee Dee put the defeated tied up stonks in one hand and took out her shield with the other just as the attack came in, she blocked it and pushed back the Stonk before she put the shield back in her inventory and in the same motion took out her wand and blasted the stonk... or tried to but it slipped away. Though the small Girl was already well used to this and her friends were as well.

As it slipped Away Kramer came up behind it and swatted it with his tail sending the stonk flying to the side and busting it's defense, where it was caught and Gnawed by Jimmy before he tossed the Stonk into the air where BombDee hopped up and Hit it with a power punch knocking it back down to Dee Dee who picked up the out cold Stonk.

Looking the little creature Over Dee Dee nodded once more and tended to it's wounds and made sure it was tied up just as securely as the other two, then she made sure they were all safe and secure before giving them all a hug and petting them as she looked over to Le fay who had gotten injured, and so Dee Dee lifted a hand and a little star fired off from it and hit Le fay making an aura envelop here that was slowly healing her wounds.
