The grand tale of La Fay's meteoric rise began with a missed book. The private jet engine roared loud as inside the cabin, Sylvie sat with a glass of wine in hand. She had been reading the latest entry in a mystery series that had sadly been left behind back home. With no recent reading material and a burning annoyance at her own forgetfulness, Sylvie opted to purchase several books from a used bookstore on the way to the private runway where her jet awaited. One of those books being a biography on Al Capone, one of the most notorious crime figures of North America. She had her reservations when first starting the book. The early life wasn't interesting. A real "poor little boy" story. She had half a mind to throw this story in the trash and move on. [break][break]
But the further she read about his crime life, the further Sylvie was drawn in. His cruelty to his competition, the business he managed that stomped at any hope of somebody else stealing his spotlight; it drew her in. She had scorned herself for wanting to push his story away. It had been an awakening moment in her. A figure to aspire to and reach the heights of, if not surpass entirely! This single book had changed her entire perspective on her demeanor towards her up and coming business. Sylvia took the lessons from this book to heart. Maybe they weren't the right lessons, but they were lessons!

Bootlegs: When in a thread with anyone carrying any item, the Fixer can choose to create a [Bootleg]. This takes one post to do and can only be done once per character in the thread. Choose an item that anyone in the topic is carrying and you gain a version of that item that seems worn down and cludged together. All effects of the item are reduced by one rank or 25% whichever reduction is higher but the item functions normally otherwise. [break][break]
Black Market: At the end of any mission, the Fixer may choose to forfeit all of the point rewards for that mission to instead gain a Black Market box. This is a mystery box but for every 50 points forfeited, rounding to the nearest 50, the Fixer counts as having +1 Luck. These boxes can only give items, not skills or other benefits. Any item gained from one of these boxes gains the [Black Market] tag which means it cannot be sold to the system, when pulling a Black Market box the Fixer may also choose a specific class of item such as 'melee weapon', 'armour', 'accessory' to acquire. Lastly, if anyone starts a mission wielding a [Black Market] item, a d100 must be rolled in discord. For each [Black Market] item in the topic, there is a 1% chance to alert the System(only one person in the topic needs to roll). If the System is alerted, the topic immediately gets invaded by a high level Monster attempting to recover the item and fix the status quo. [break][break]
As an alternative, when forfeiting the points the Fixer can instead choose to make one Bootleg from the topic into a permanent [Black Market] item that they get to keep, with the Bootleg penalties becoming part of the item itself. The Fixer can only have one of these for every 10 levels they have, starting with a max of 1 and increasing at every increment of 10. [break]

That's some nice loot you've got there. It'd be a shame if anything happened to it. Once per post, in melee range, you can deal your [PWR] rank -1 in damage and put your target in [Debt] to you. While suffering from the [Debt] debuff, the target's [SPD] is decreased by -1 rank for movement purposes. Only one target can be in [Debt] at any one time. When a target in [Debt] is defeated, you gain a bonus reward at the end of the thread and this ability goes on cooldown for four posts. Black Market Gown
A luxurious gown sewn together from illegally-gathered silk from an endangered species of silkworm. Around the shoulder is the fur of a near extinct species of big game cat. A gown made for form and function while wearing it, it can block attacks up to [DEF], before breaking and needing three rotations to repair.
