Min-su blinked twice with confusion and finally peeled his eyes away from the floating interface. He glanced between Susame and Ryuko before a smudge of color turned his attention to the wall.
The wall with blood writing. Neat.
He rubbed at the back of his neck before quickly averting his gaze. He preferred the system notifications in comparison to creepy messages on the wall.
"Should we find weapons on the way down?" While a question with a possibly obvious answer, he felt the need to voice it, just in case they beelined for the stairs and went all the way down unprepared. All they had was a knife the teacher was wielding, a flashlight (something he was very thankful Susame conveniently found), and a bag of dog food. It... wasn't his first choice for going into a boss battle.
Then again, at a school, he doubted there was much they could find. Well, perhaps the cafeteria would have something... or any other teachers they find roaming around. He was attracting slimes more than anything else, and he made quick work of moving onto the next area if he could not avoid them. Should he take the opportunity to level up like any other person? The pet store he was working at had to close down due to obvious reasons (partially because the owner's son died in the tutorial, mostly because the store was wrecked beyond repair from said tutorial). Without a job, there was nothing to fill his time aside from... playing the game, he supposed?
He had played a fair few strategy roleplaying games when he could find the time and money, but the ones he played always followed a story. Whatever this was had no clear story to follow.
His muddled thoughts was the exact reason he had set out for the floating islands that made up most of Europe now. Erm, Europa. The breathtaking scenery would surely help soothe his mind. Hopefully. If not, he could always try the next best option: hotpot.

[attr="class","minsu-info"]Min-su never wanted to step foot in a school again, but he was certain at this point that forced teleportation might ruin that for him.
He returned to Seoul as soon as possible, and he was honestly surprised to see how... normal it looked? If you ignore the slimes, that is. He hoped these were the lowest level and easiest to kill slimes, not the ones that required accuracy to destroy a core or risk having your skin melted off. Not wanting to take his chances (though he was interested to see if they could be tamed), Min-su avoided the slimes as he made the trek down familiar (and rather empty) streets.
What was the rush, you may ask? He had been at work all day and then stuck in a school in Japan for an additional twelve hours. His poor cats and dog were probably starving! He was fully expecting a mess to clean up as well, unless the ajumma next door remember to take his dog out for a walk. He hoped she was okay as well.
Arriving at his apartment building and hastily making his way up the stairs, Min-su fished out his keys before he arrived at his door. Once inside, however, he felt the panic set in.
His apartment was void of life. No cats. No dog. Clean. Did the system take them away? Surely not. Right?
Just in case, he made a sweep of the apartment. There were few hiding locations, being nothing more than a large room that functioned as a kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedroom. The bathroom was empty, and the closets only contained clothing and bedding.
His ears began to ring as his mind played over every possible and seemingly impossible scenario. Grabbing a bag of dog treats and a smaller bag of cat treats, Min-su bolted out the door and nearly made it to the stairs before doubling back to close the door. Even if Susame considered it impulse, this was more than something mere impulse could accomplish. Min-su's attention was quickly captured once more as the blood began to leave the man's clothing. That was the most efficient means of dry cleaning he had ever witnessed.

This was certainly not work, but the experience felt all the same. Her attention moved away from him, allowing Min-su the briefest moment of relief. He would have to remember not to make her angry, just in case that wasn't ketchup on her clothes.
Once the taller man took the podium, Min-su found it difficult to pull his gaze away while he gave a mock lecture. Charisma alone capture his attention. Was he a politician? Certainly not, considering the eye liner. An idol, perhaps? They usually had very commanding stage presence. Ah! He shouldn't be lost in his thoughts like this. Hopefully there won't be a quiz later.
A name and a half given, and he was quick to insert his own name into the mix. "Yun Min-su. Nice to meet you both," despite the circumstances. He was incredibly confused as to why he was teleported to Japan. At least he could understand them perfectly. If it wasn't for the weird system in place, he might have only understood half of the entire conversation.
He might have said more had it not been for the hand raised. His mouth closed before a sound could escape, and he tensed with the groaning beyond the door. The tension in his muscles kept him rooted in place without any sign of relaxing as the noises faded. Were they really going out there? There seemed to be no room for a complaint, so Min-su resigned to their unfortunate fate.
He leaned down and grabbed the corners of the bag, hoisting it up with ease despite its hefty size. "I can go first, if needed." He had a 'shield', after all. A terrible shield, but at least it was heavy enough to resist impact to a certain degree. Maybe. He'll be fine. The bright smile lingered on his lips as he watched a customer walk off with multiple bags of dog toys, treats, training pads, and food. The day was wrapping up, closing time drawing nearer and nearer. Normally he would not be manning the cash register, but his part-timer for this shift called in last minute after receiving a panic attack from the weird messages that everyone seemed to have witnessed. It was fine; he enjoyed working the floor and interacting with customers anyway.
Even if everyone was buying in bulk, as if they were preparing to take their pets into a bunker or something.
The store gradually emptied out, allowing Min-su to leave his post. He set about restocking the shelves (if he had to stock left to do so) and reorganizing the toys after a few dogs were allowed to pick their own and tried taking just about everything off their hooks. After attending to the last customer, he disappeared into the back for a brief moment before returning to the front with a hand truck piled high with bags of dog food.
Once at the correct aisle, he hoisted bag after bag onto the shelf. His movements paused, a heavy bag of large breed dog food over his shoulder.
Before his very eyes was a semi-transparent screen with a... was this a DM?
He shifted the bag on his shoulder, freeing up one hand to attempt to close the floating screen. Upon success, however, the store around him distorted before a blinding light forced him to close his eyes.
When he reopened his eyes, he was definitely not in the store anymore. Confusion furrowed his brow as he slowly turned in a circle to gather his bearings. Cubbies lined a far wall, desks filled the space between with their chairs stacked upside down on top, and a blackboard rested on the other wall. A school?
He stepped over to the blackboard, readjusting the bag of dog food still resting on his shoulder. The characters half-erased on the board was... Hiragana? Katakana? He should really brush up on his Japanese.
One thing was for certain: he was not in Seoul anymore.
His next destination was the window, yet the sight beyond gave him pause. He was expecting to see a city. Instead, a forest stretched as far as the eye could see (and he confirmed he was on the third story).
