One spider skittered by Morgana's side while the other moved to intercept her flank. The gothic woman was doing her best to avoid getting bitten as a green ichor-like substance had began to dribble from some of the spider's fangs and onto the ground below. One of the pair aimed its fangs upwards in an attempt to run at Morgana and inject whatever was inside of them into her that way, only for her to hover slightly above. The substance drizzled onto the bark of the trees with an audible hiss. [break][break]
"Did you see that? Did they put Drain-O in these spiders or something?" [break][break]
She was ready to strike again, flexing her fingers one after the other again before launching another blast of magic at one. Unlike it's smaller counterpart that was easily vanquished, these were a bit more durable. After taking a blast to the abdomen, her target merely shook off the damage and continued to attack. Perhaps a bit more power was needed to make quick work of these things. [break][break]
The hissing from behind caught her off guard, with Morgana swiveling around just in time to have a fang glide by her, tearing the stocking on her right leg. She winced and tumbled onto the ground, clenching her fists in anger. Her teeth clenched together at the pain inside of her, wondering if the poison had broken through the skin. If the hissing on her skin was any indicator, maybe... [break][break]
"FuckfuckfuckFUCK! That hurt like hell!" Morgana said, eyeing the many pairs coming for her now that she was wounded. "I don't recommend getting stung by that." [break][break]
Her magic was ready to cast again, darkness trickling through her free hand while the other clutched her wound. She aimed straight for one spider closest to her and fire, knocking its head clean off with a second blast of magic. As it skittered about aimlessly, she exhaled and attempted to get back up on her feet again but fell over again with a pained grunt. [break][break]
Her mind felt hazy, like a second second between sentences hazy, and all of her thoughts were jumbled up into...what were they called? Like, those big machines they bundled stuff together back home? Whatever, it was like that! She shook her head to free herself of the feeling and then kicked away another spider trying to take a bite.
"G-Good news, the poison isn't lethal." she reported, taking a moment to construct a sentence in her mind. "It's debhil...de...debbie...makes your mind slow down." [break][break]

Morgana's uncaring disposition was put aside as this woman retorted back. Something about her just meshed well with her. the vibe, aesthetic, whatever art students with too much time wanted to call it. Maybe it was that RBF 9000 stare she was giving everyone constantly. How she looked at everyone with the same amount of disdain as one would with a notification about a mortal enemy's death. Just the epitome of the word "uncaring." [break][break]
Whatever it was, the goth had to pause to assess why she felt so warm all of a sudden, maybe toying with the tongue stud in her mouth as she pondered an answer. [break][break]
"R-Right. My mistake, Cordelia." Best to play up to her lively side. "I'm Morg-" [break][break]
The hissing nearby had grown louder. Turns out their little meeting here was on borrowing time while the spiders were going to think about turning them into a snack or something. Of course, that likely wasn't going to happen for as long as they had some type of [break][break]
"-ana. Looks like the pests came to us for a change. Hope that sword of yours is good for more than show." [break][break]
Morgana's hands rose, channeling a crackling darkness through her fingers while casting a dark light through the digits. A spider that had grown brave, attempted to stray from the pack and take a chance. It lunged to attack the floating goth, she was quickly back-stepped as her back felt the hard oak of a tree. In retaliation, the goth shot a beam of dark magic at the spider that had attacked her. [break][break]
The resulting damage had knocked it back into its kin, landing on its back with a hissing rattle before falling still from the attack.[break][break]

Ah, the countryside. A place where dreams are born by lowly folk, churches stand the test of time, and...Wait, this was the United Kingdom? Here she thought this was going to be a homecoming of sorts! [break][break]
Morgana floated across the countryside, feeling far too important to really bother with stepping around physically. It was addicting just moving so effortlessly. The goth's pale skin felt the gently rays of the sun above cast itself upon her. There were some faint hisses from afar, but it sounded pretty far away. But what was close by was something else. A woman in all red, carrying a big ass sword and wearing the most pissed off expression that somebody could have. Morgana felt envy swell in her chest. This woman was the entire package of everything she wanted to be. The red was a bit much though. She much more preferred black. [break][break]
Wait, she was an enemy? Last time she checked, some pissed off bitch in the woods wasn't a spider or an R.U.S. Her feet landed on the ground below and then slowly made her way closer before stopping a few feet away. [break][break]

Sunny skies, hazy air, highly saturated colors? Yep, it was time to go back to the burning sand kingdom that was Nadir Beach. Morgana had been a little bit busy doing anything but standing in the middle of the way and fawning over such useless things like the male form. Beach bimbos stood attached to some of the muscle bound gym bros that most definitely weren't using them at all. [break][break]
Such things were far beyond the gothic witch. She just enjoyed her colorful alcoholic drink with a sippy straw. The perfect little beach break as the aspiring spawn of darkness sat in a lounge chair away from all that mess, even when invited for the mission. [break][break]
"Nah, not interested." [break][break]
Morgana raised a hand to gently tap away the notification. Black fingernails danced around the notification screen and went back to enjoying her drink. Then it came again, then again. Once more. Every single time Morgana hit decline, two more windows popped up. This cartoon routine went on for a couple of seconds before groaning. [break][break]
"Piss off, you oversized testicle. I'm on break." [break][break]
Morgana leaned back in her chair only for Earth-chan to teleport her directly above Xibalba's side of the volleyball field and come crashing down in a blur of spilled alcohol and sand. Morgana had reserved some of the drink still, though most of it had splashed across her face, much to the amusement of the crowd. She groaned and stood back up, the pale goth looking back over to the leader of the bunch.[break][break]
She wasn't entirely muscular like the rest of the party, but the goth did have the ability to hove rin midair, used solely to sit down in midair while growling in a silent rage. [break][break]

Morgana would purse her lips in thought, strolling upon the storefronts while the goth would groan at the piercing brought sun against her pale skin. A hand was raised to her forehead to block out the blinding sun rays. [break][break] "Who actually enjoys this kind of stuff? It's too fucking hot..."[break][break] Morgana groaned, having to suffer through the blistering summer air. The humidity didn't help matters any given how close to the water it was. She walked along more and more until eventually, Morgana had to seek shelter underneath one of those huge parasols offering shade to groups of people. The misters were a godsend, though the looks she was getting from her attire wasn't too annoying, though she only shot each a look to deter them. [break][break] But one strange kind of creature was dressed in some type of outfit. A tye-dye tank top, sandals, cargo shorts, the regalia for somebody who had too much free time and not enough problems. But it wasn't that fact that caught the goth's attention. It was the the shape of a man wasn't even human! The head was incredibly large, with long and arms and stunted feet. The sight of it made Morgana stop in pause. [break][break] "What the fu-" [break][break] The alien was busy meeting up with people and she slowly followed along, hiding herself in the crowd. In its hands was dust of some kind, but not normal white dust. This shit was radiation green. It perplexed her, just as she got a notice on her phone. A new mission that had just opened up and was marked as "event". [break][break] "A drug bust, huh? Kinda shitty payout for being a narc, but I've got nothing else to do." Huh, so she didn't talk then? Morgana couldn't give two shits regardless but watching Dee Dee speak in word bubbles was pretty unique. She continued to chew on a mouthful of burger while watching the text crawl across the bubble. It was cute, in a weird sort of way. Morgana did stare into those beady little eyes of her while screeching internally. How could one girl be so adorable?! [break][break]
Morgana broke eye contact after a bit to glance at the guidebook that had been given to her alongside the meal. One hand kept it open and flipped through the pages while her free hand continued to nibble at fries. A precursory glance showed quite the find. Diagrams, charts, even some information about enemies she hadn't seen before. It would certainly be helpful in the coming few days. [break][break]
Still nothing about living scarecrows though. [break][break]
"I see." Morgana said while rolling around in the air, flipping a couple of pages. "You've written a pretty good guidebook. This'll help me greatly. You cook a fuckin' bomb ass burger as well." [break][break]
Her smirk evolved into an malicious looking grin as she leaned forward, taking another chomp of fries. She stretched out fully and laid down in front of Dee Dee and held the fry container in between her fingers while reading the guidebook more. She looked up for the role call for her little friends. Each one continued to be as lively as the next. [break][break]
Morgana closed the guidebook and put it back into her inventory. [break][break]

Dee Dee and her little bundle of friends had made the burgers incredibly tempting to devour them all. Morgana watched the crew work in tandem with one another. Each was responsible for one part of the burger construction and happily did their part. They even had little home made plates and containers! [break][break]
She watched with a muted interest hidden behind a veil of hunger. The crew continued on their way as Dee Dee even offered her the choice of a plate. A pale blur came by her as Morgana plucked a plate from the ones chosen. It didn't matter to her. Food was food when you were this hungry. [break][break]
"Thanks." All she said. All she needed to say. [break][break]
The first bite was delicious. She let out a pleasured noise while her teeth bit into the juicy burger. Every taste bud screeched in ecstasy while her teeth made short work of anything that was preventing her from enjoying her first bit of food in a while. She leaned back as if going to fall, but would suddenly hover in place while sitting down and enjoying her burger. [break][break]
"Holy shit, this is fucking good." [break][break]
Another large bite came, with blackened lips parted to allow another mouthful of food to pass through her. After she felt her stomach filling up enough at the halfway mark, Morgana wiped her mouth and looked at the book that was offered to her. [break][break]
Her eyes rose to meet the sight of the woman offering the book to her. The uncaring expression faltered briefly to showcase the joy in her eyes. She was just so adorable! That cute bandana there and the face covered by the jacket to cover her mouth! She couldn't help but stare in silence at what was the cutest thing she had seen in her journeys yet. [break][break]
Morgana blinked and took the guidebook from Dee Dee. She looked at the front and back cover and then flipped a few pages out of curiosity while stuffing her face with fries. [break][break]

Morgana's stomach growled once again as she went on the hunt for something to eat. Her mood was already pissy and the hunger pains certainly weren't helping matters any. She was wondering if there was a snack machine anywhere she could blow up or something... [break][break]
But then something wafted into her nose. Something delicious! [break][break]
"What is that?" Morgana asked herself. Her nose took several long inhales to get as much of the heavenly aroma as possible. [break][break]
"I haven't smelled anything that good since I was back home." [break][break]
Her stride quickened at trying to find the source of that little dish she was smelling. It didn't matter how much it cost, she had to have one bite of that meal. Her mouth watered heavily as she allowed herself to run towards whoever was making that food. [break][break]
Food journey took her all the way down a street as her target was in front of her. A home made food stall with a bunch of monsters just cooking right there in the street. Not a care in the world! Morgana continued to walk to them, unaware of Dee Dee waving to her. Her only focus was food at the moment as she came to a stop in front of the booth. [break][break]

Morgana walked along the sidewalk with her arms crossed and a rather apathetic expression. The pale goth was covered underneath the well placed cover of an umbrella. It offered some resistance against the sun, though not enough for the goth's tastes. [break][break]
"This is like every capitalist's wet dream, even after this dumb game started. Can't imagine what it was like before." [break][break]
Her exploration of the city spread far and wide as she wandered across the streets. The foot tour left little to be desired along the beaches, as various people were out and about across the beach. Morgana was hesitant to stick her feet into the warm sand. All the women around here had the bodies for it. [break][break]

The rambunctious king slime gurgled menacingly at the floating hex girl under the next wave of dark magic blasts. Morgana dove to the side to avoid another slam of its tentacles coming out of the top of it. The impact had caused the floor to give away, broken down into rubble. She was low on energy and now attacks seemned to be doing anything to this king slime thing. She needed to end this mission soon before she'd get eaten by this thing. [break][break]
"Gotta end this quick. Now what have we got?" [break][break]
Her eyes darted around the warehouse for some kind of thing that could turn the fight in her favor. There were crates and boxes everywhere but no real thing that could be useful. The boss swung its arm at her again which managed to tear a hole in the metal wall. Morgana gad gotten pushed away from the impact, but the hole leading to the outside did give her an idea. [break][break]
"Hey freak!" She called out, peppering it with more basic spells to irritate it. "Betcha can't hit me." [break][break]
Her efforts were rewarded in kind as the slime grow two more tentacles out of its body and continued trying to get its slimy mitts on Morgana. She ducked, dove and dodged around tendrils that continued to damage the outside wall of this old warehouse. The foundation let out pained noises at the attacks levied against it. [break][break]
It was a long ten minutes, but the entire building shook under its own weight as the walls and structure had been eroded away from the residue of the slime and its attacks. Morgana stuck her tongue out playfully and dove outside through a hole. Just as she stood upright, the entire warehouse had suddenly collapsed. The rook and walls smashed into the ground below. [break][break]
A puddle of slime oozed out from the ground as it parted ways into a thousand smaller slimes, running away from the building and hopefully outside of the property. [break][break]
"Huh, I guess that's a job done." Morgana shrugged and made her way to walk back home with her phone out. She pulled up the menu to turn the mission in with a smirk. [break][break]

The culling of these infernal little slimes was proving quite troublesome. Morgana had found a condensed hive in some little nook and cranny up in the rafters during her inspection. This was somehow even worse than the previous iteration, with every archway of building frame filled to the brim with slime. [break][break]
Those trusty hex blasts of hers came in handy. She couldn't imagine just flinging these little things with her hands. As cute as they were, Morgana wasn't exactly trying to get any more dirty than she already was. A piece of slime landed on her wrist which was flung away. [break][break]
"No wonder these little demons are so hated. You fuckers," an arm raised to her face to blast a slime trying to tackle her out of the sky before shielding her face from the residue, "are everywhere in this place." [break][break]
A sudden gurgling cry slash roar emerged from the area around them. The goth turned her head in the direction of the sudden scream that caused the warehouse to echo the noise. The remaining slimes were dog piling into a much larger, murky colored slimes whose form was growing limbs and growths of many kinds. [break][break]
From an outsider perspective, Morgana found this little pest rather cute this way. At least until it started launching attacks at her. Crates and shipping containers were thrown at her. One stray projectile had torn straight through the building, allowing other slimes to join in on the fun. [break][break]

Slime flung into the air with every blast of hex magic. Particles of various colors and materials scattered about the warehouse floor. One slime had latched onto Morgana's leg that she was doing her best to shake off. It's acidic slime fizzled against her clothing in a painful lump of flesh. [break][break]
She hovered near a piece of untouched wall and kissed her thigh against it, splattering the messy azure slime about the surface. Morgana aimed both hands at some of the unbearable creatures attempting to reaching up with slime filled tendrils and drag her down. One such did manage to wrap around her left arm. [break][break]
"Blasted little things! Why can't you just," she grunted and pulled against the tendril as she made some vain attempt to fight against its grasp, "make this easy for me?" [break][break]
She slowly allowed herself to be brought back down lower to the approaching monsters at the risk of more tendrils looping around her. Morgana bided her time until she she was close enough... [break][break]
The magic erupted from her hand. She fizzled out some of the group and was afforded some moment of rest. The goop around her was sticky but began to drip off once the slimes connected to them had melted away. [break][break]

"Well, better get started." [break][break]
The rickety doors to the warehouse opened with an audible creak as the metal door let out an audible whine. Alone before the interior of the warehouse stood a lone goth girl with some minor powers. [break][break]
The outside world disappeared behind the doors while she made her way inside to marvel at what worked was in store for her. [break][break]
The severity of the infestation had soon made itself known as there had to be a small army of slimes racing around in here. Droppings of multiple colors splattered across the ground. The walls had nests and hives constructed out of various materials that could have been found inside of this place. [break][break]
Even some of the containers held such liquid-like noises. [break][break]
"Well, this is still not as bad as that old house we used to smoke in." Morgana mused to herself. She casually used her passive ability to levitate a short distance off of the ground and avoid ruining her shoes in this muck.[break][break]
No time like the present to begin. She began by looking to the nearby nest of slimes and striking it using a bolt of hex magic. Even if weak, it was enough to shatter it into pieces.[break][break]
Her prey poured out of the remnants and made their way towards her to defend their home. [break][break]

Morgana was ready to bicker with the other woman with the fiery kick. But because of all of these scarecrows, their scuffle would have to wait for the time being. She watched as another was dispatched between the other two. [break][break]

The small group of scarecrows had been defeated with relatively ease. She was a bit let down at the lack of anything beyond some hay headed freaks. Surely there was more than three weaklings like these around? Her eyes scanned the area around them for any stragglers. [break][break]

A portal would open up a little over the horizon by Jonas as he wandered through the snow filled land of Draco Island. One he may even recognize as one of the portals leading out of the tutorial. [break][break]
Indeed, a figure was dumped out in the sky above as she landed face first into the snow. The change of temperature was felt instantly, leaving Morgana a little chilled. [break][break]
