"Me neither, so better learn quick." A new person was with them now, huh? Morgana watched as this new girl was sparing no effort to make short work of one of the scarecrows herself. Good, another competent person around here. But was this a dream or something? It would explain a lot of stuff right off the bat, but something about how the kick felt didn't feel like it was a dream. [break][break]
"If this is some shared dream, I'm sure as hell not waking up." Morgana said while sending her impromptu scythe arm into one of the other scarecrows around them. Her move had worked, but at the cost of getting her weapon stuck inside of its body. A few tugs here and there didn't help pry it loose any. One grunt later and the arm had just broken off, leaving her weaponless. [break][break]
The first woman had fared much better since Morgana paid attention to her. She kicked the scarecrow away complete with a sudden blaze of fire around her. The sight had made her stumble back in surprise. It definitely helped add fuel to fire of this dream theory. Maybe she had been watching too many fantasy movies. [break][break]
"Fuck, dude...That was cool." [break][break]
Her hand lifted her phone in a split second while scrolling through her own information. She was expecting something pretty cool as kicking with fire. Maybe she could shoot lighting or something? The sky was the limit so far. Morgana did a quick speed read through her info until coming across the explanation. "Hex Girl...Let's see what we can do." A hand raised itself at the third scarecrow nearby. ALmost instantly, a bolt of darkness plunged into the being, breaking it apart from the impact. Hay and splinters shot everywhere, leaving the scarecrow as two wooden legs. [break][break]

"Oh, this getup?" Morgana asked, looking down at her robes, or if you could count this thing clothing more than a see through curtain. It did fit her style and aesthetic though so she could complain too much. "Thanks. I sorta woke up with this thing on. Your outfit's pretty cool too." [break][break]
She wasn't exactly the best judge of character when it came to calling things cool or uncool, being from a lifestyle that was more simplistic than chasing trends. But the mixture of modern and "street" style choices was nice. Lottie stood out in a crowd in more ways than one. She even cracked a rare smirk while finding some idolization in her cute earrings. It was almost enough to prod the nagging cravings away.[break][break]
"Sounds good. I'm not exactly some fighter, but I knew a hex or two for anything in our way." [break][break]
A soft chuckle came out of her. In essence, Morgana wanted to find something to test her class on. Something about the mysterious Hex Girl class had made her want to see how far she could take it. Maybe if she got good enough at this, she could see about pulling Lucy out of wherever the hell she was. Or possibly breaking Earth-chan for ruining her smoke breaks so often. The idea made her giddy with excitement. [break][break]
But other matters took priority. Their cell door was open and meant they could leave whenever they wanted to. The environment around them was a classic sort of dungeon looking area. Morgana lead the way and looked inside of the other cells. Skeletons and remains of people trapped down here. It was cool in a way. Just the remnants of some poor fool out for them to see. Her black nails traced along the stone before Lottie introduced herself. [break][break]
"Lottie, huh? Cute name." her hand slid into Lottie's and shook it. "I'm Morgana. Recently loaded in and ready to start hexing people." [break][break]
She was anything but complex. Just a downtrodden person with an opportunity and seizing the day. Who wouldn't given the circumstances? Morgana plucked a torch from the wall after a bit of force and used it to push forward. Her gait was more hurried than Lottie's. She was eager to go and see what else could lie in wait in this mysterious dungeon. It was a fantastic romp! The temptation to pluck off a skeleton's head and begin to recite some of the more macabre ruminations she had memorized was there. But Lottie was probably spooked enough. [break][break]
"So, while we're wandering around in the dark, what did you do before coming here?" Morgana tried her hand at small talk some. Better to keep her from getting more upset she couldn't take a light up in this hellhole. "I used to be a bartender. Pretty boring stuff." [break][break]

Morgana wasn't exactly too thrilled by the sights in London. For as much as everybody always seemed to go on and on about the marvels and cool stuff here, a lot of it seemed like a bunch of rich people not getting a clue that the 1800s had ended centuries ago. She walked through one of the streets with some mild interest and had come to a stop by a lamp post for cig. The fresh cancer stick had been lit but before she could take that sweet first drag, the ground quaked beneath her. [break][break]
"Hey, what the-" [break][break]
The buildings above uprooted themselves like planks of wood being torn off an old, derelict house. They went to crush her as she took a step off of the curb and was sent into a downward spiral. Just falling endlessly as the surface and skylines above had become just darkness above her. Not entirely a bad thing but she had no intentions of staying in some little cesspool underneath this shitty little city. The area around her rumbled and gave way to the floor below while Morgana could only look down at her incoming demise. [break][break]
The impact echoed in wherever the hell she had fallen. The goth laid there for a moment, wondering if she had at the landing but slowly pushed herself onto two legs. One soft groan later, her phone whipped out to showcase her status. Everything was still functioning and she was alive. But not where she was originally. [break][break]
"Great. Didn't think I'd want a tour of some creepy ass dungeon..." [break][break]
Morgana scoffed. Her tone was soft but somewhat apathetic, complete with the kiss of a frequent smoker that enjoyed her little nicotine hits when things got to her. It wasn't long after the fall that she spun around and spotted Lottie there with her. She was surprised that somebody other than her had gotten dragged down here. But hey, misery loved company. The other girl was pretty. Pink hair, gorgeous figure. It reminded her of Lucy back home. [break][break]
Oh yeah, her chest was pretty nice too. She almost caught herself looking for too long and then offered her hand to sit back up. [break][break]
"Hey Pinkie, you get stuck here too?" [break][break]
Morgana went to go for another cigarette to replace her old one. Going to the menu again to fetch her item list and...it was grayed out? pressing the button on the menu didn't do anything no matter how much she pushed. About thirty rapid pushes later, a message box popped up, informing her about noncombat items not being allowed on missions. The news hadn't gone over well with Morgana. [break][break]
"Alright, now it's personal. Nobody messes with my smokes." She huffed and looked at their surroundings for any way out. Just darkness and a bunch of freaky ass crypt walls around them. It was a little poetic that somebody who adored the macabre like her to find herself here, but she was far too irritated at Earth-chan to bother soaking it in.[break][break]

Morgana stood in front of the warehouse that the mission she had accepted from Earth-chan had mentioned about their little infestation. It wasn't rats, bees or any other basic ass pest though. This time, it was slime...but like, alive slime. Even just coming near the warehouse, she could spot some little colorful bundles of goop snaking along the outside wall. The saturated yet high edible looking creatures had been the bane of many a person in this city. [break][break]
"Should be easy money. Just have to wait for the plus one." She looked around for any signs of life before a grin came to her lips. "Perfect. Needed a smoke since I started in this fuckin' place..." [break][break]
Morgana reached into her pockets to pull out a pack of cigarettes in hand along with a lighter. The box did feel mysteriously empty but she didn't pay too much mind to it. Not while she was jonesing for a cig. A flick of the box was all it took to produce a cigarette for her enjoyment, or rather, that's what should have happened. Instead, not one light came out. Morgana's gaze was met with an empty box. [break][break]

She groaned and threw the empty box over her shoulder and resorted to Plan B. Her phone was brought up to her face and scrolled through social media some while waiting for the other person to arrive. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long of a wait. Those slimes could deal with some trash around this place if it was already infested. What was one more piece of trash among the pile of possible dangerous slimes running around? [break][break]

It had been a quiet day off for Morgana, having spent the majority of it shifting between session of binging the latest show on her phone she had been mooching off of the subscription that nice guy in Akansas Lucy and her had met and going outside for another smoke break.[break][break]

A soft, sleepy yawn escaped from her black lips as Morgana looked around. "This sure as hell isn't the couch. The fuck am I?" she asked in a very sleepy but uninterested, dark tone. [break][break]
Around her was a cornfield and a whole bunch of nothing. It brought her back to the times at getting lost in those corn mazes all the time when she was young. Except there was a distinct lack of any signage or interesting decoration that made any amount of distance stand out. Just like her home in the South. It elicited an eye roll and a groan from the goth girl as she clicked her tongue in annoyance. [break][break]
"Wonderful, back in the same place I was trying to get as far away from as possible." she thought to herself. [break][break]
Another voice came to nearby. Morgana arched an eyebrow at the sight before her after she pushed through the corn. A woman surrounded by scarecrows. Not exactly something that really stood out to people on a first glance. It wasn't until they got off of their poles and stomped up to the woman that caught her eyes.[break][break]
That was a new one. Still, she wasn't going to just let this woman just perish like this. Nobody should be killed by something that people hung up as Halloween decorations. [break][break]

Her leg smashed into the side of one of the scarecrows. It toppled the poor thing down from the others before Morgana grabbed one of the scythe hands the scarecrow until it tore off completely. She stepped on front of the woman before her and swung it around to keep the other scarecrows at bay. [break][break]

Morgana has had a fascination of death for about as long as she could remember. It all began with the loss of her father, spiraling her into a dark depression that lasted for quite some time. In her grief, she wished to find something to fill this hole in her heart, yet nothing ever could. Something about the taboo nature of the cycle of life and death had caught her interest. How all life was born to eventually end one day. It was frightening, much like other bits and concepts, but also liberating. It provided a sense of freedom that even if shackled by the chains of life, her spirit would be eternally free. It never got too out of hand for Morgana though. She did enjoy the imagery of the grim reaper and other personifications of death across literature such as Thanatos and more.

backstory
Abigail found her start in the hot southern United States in a household of her parents, younger sister and older brother. As a middle child, her efforts were routinely ignored by her folks as they were either too busy focusing on her other siblings or working both jobs to pay attention to her. This began an early streak of her rebellious nature that she is well known for around her neck of the woods. Like many children of a farming household, she was placed in charge of several areas around the farm, mainly tending to the chickens and helping her older brother with a lot of the heavy lifting. Despite this, Abby never really felt much attachment to the lifestyle. It was needless work that she was forced to put up with.[break][break]
Everything changed when she met a girl in school that was as lovely and just as tomboyish as she was! Her name was Leah, a girl from one of the cities up north who moved here after a divorce between their parents. They became fast friends together and were inseparable from one another for years! Then one fateful day in high school, Leah had slowly gotten into goth culture and had it affecting all of her style and influences. Even her name had changed to one befitting somebody who delved into darker matters, Lucy.[break][break]
The impressionable young Abby found herself captivated by Lucy's interests and fashion. Something about how dark and mysterious it was compared to the lively world made it all the more enticing. She followed her friend down this path as the two became fully immersed into the goth culture. This came to a head when Abby's father had both passed from a sudden heart attack while out tending to the fields one day. Stricken with grief and with only a friend to lean on that she felt understood her, Abby was led down a more solitary way of dealing with the loss of a parent. She became apathetic to things in life and even dyed her hair black to match Lucy's.[break][break]
