The way his siblings all behaved, he always felt like his family was one big factory, pumping out children and expecting them to be useful and cater to the ideals his family strives for. A Fuyukami does not buckle, they do not yield, just like their name they are a frozen fortress. There were going to be uncomfortable situations to test that mental mettle and willpower, to wallow and break from these things was simply not the way he was taught. Even matters such as this, where a woman tries to weasel you into falling for a trap of her own making.
Child's play, as it was. Her dramatics has the older man smiling against his fork, polishing the morsel off of it from his plate. When his plate is empty, he responds: "My family are very eccentric, and if I had to put it as vaguely as possible, well," Susame looses a chuckle, the way his bangs cover nearly all of one of his eyes they shift just a little to show a hint of the golden eye beneath.
"...They're all demons, I'm afraid, and falling for one sounds dreadful doesn't it?" But he didn't elaborate any further on it, and now that his meal was finished the utensils and plate seemingly vanished without a trace before his very eyes. "I might get dessert after all, I think." He gives a small hum in consideration, browsing the desserts menu with a scrolling of his finger. Susame watched it obediently sit down, turning its head up just enough to convey a sort of stubbornness that brought more of an amused glimmer in his eyes and a smile to his lips. If there was any blatant truth to his possible assumptions and theories of this creature being intelligent or some kind of shapeshifter, the whole thing was very much proven and he was happy to get some semblance of it correct. With a laugh, Susame rummaged through some items, looking for those that he knew were non-perishables and would still be alright to eat.
"So," He spoke, crouching down to reach for something, grasping a can and reading it to make sure it was the right thing he was looking for. "How long have you been in that form?" Susame didn't look at the cat just yet, busily putting things in a backpack that was lent to him for a certain man he knew in Seoul. He'll thank him later for it. "I'm aware you can't answer but hear me out: you must be human in some way because this isn't normal Snow Leopard behavior. They flee from humans, and this environment isn't naturally suitable for you either."
Susame turns his head to finally look at him again, smile relaxed and aura showing absolutely no fear whatsoever. Actually, he was a bit chuffed about this whole encounter. Snow Leopards were his favorite, beautiful animals. "You sit there like a stubborn child, and while I admit it is cat-like, the way you're looking at me..." A pause, his smile more pronounced and showing his own fangs.
"...you're judging me, right?" He had to be, and that just made it all the better. With a shrug, Susame opens up a can with a sharp click, and then, that bloody appendage daintily picks it up out of his hand, stretches, and deposits it in front of him. Inside, clumps of still edible meat are within and Susame explains just in case: "Emergency meals, that meat will last for years on these shelves. Eat it if you like." With that, Susame zips up his bag and rounds about the next aisle, searching for anything else of use whether to eat or useful in other ways.

A paw sends another can flying from its original placement, with the cat looking between it and him rapidly. Ah, he sees what this is. It was fear and curiosity more than anything remotely violent. He figured that it would've raced to him by now and gone for his neck if it was anything but these things. While Susame knows this is a 'wild animal' of sorts, he still deigns to keep his distance but the defensive blood like appendage reels back and retreats to its liege.
"I see. If you're hungry...there is plenty of food that won't perish in here I imagine." Susame takes a few cautious steps forward, the light finally shining on his features appropriately while he looks down at the creature. There was something nagging at him to treat this cat more like a human than a mindless animal. He doesn't know what it is about it either.
"...I'm afraid I'm not doing anything interesting for you to continue to stay and stalk me. Unless, you want to help me scavenge somehow." A light joke rolls off his tongue, turning so his side would face it. On his back, that blood remains, hovering just above his clean white blazer. A constant reminder that it was ready at any time to be loosed to defend himself if necessary.

Ryuko hadn't chimed in yet about what she thought was best and a quick recollection of how she felt about his injuries would likely pin her two against one. Susame slides the door open, pouring the light of his flashlight into the room. Didn't seem to be anything hostile in here so he makes his way inside and settles down on one of the three beds in the room. Putting the flashlight down on the end table next to it, he begins to unbutton his shirt and slink his way out of his blazer. With the wound now exposed, he sees that because of whatever class he has, the bleeding had mostly stopped and stayed in place, perhaps by his own will. It's hard to tell. Regardless, at least he knows he won't be prone to bleeding out any with wounds, he supposes. Though, he knows he has lost blood regardless, and feels a might cold and numb in that area. Looks like he'd need some clean bandages sooner than he thinks. Min-su was a nice enough lad to offer to bandage him up. Susame knew better to assume that it was merely anything shifting. No, something had to have caused it. He looked down only when the can finally rolled over to his vicinity, tapping against his shoe until it came to a halt. Then, as he expected, it had to be this particular aisle that whatever was stalking him was close enough. Susame released a small sigh, having crouched to look at something further down but standing back up proper. To the big cat in the store, whispers would begin to sound by his sensitive ears.
A corpse, fresh enough that blood was still likely to be present leaning against one of the displays, begins to jerk haphazardly. Something stirs beneath its pallor dead flesh, until what made it clear was finally made manifest. First, it stains the clothes, until finally it slithers from confines to show that it was actually blood. A dark red in hue, it twists unnaturally in the air, slowly forming what looked to be an appendage. It palms the floor, making it wet but never quite making a mess. For some odd reason, the blood is cohesive enough that it remains in its shape. Not a single drop is wasted.
"I would stay where you are." Susame turns his head finally, the gold of his eyes forms a heady glow. Magic was afoot, and the devil smiles. "If I am able to do this with a dead man, imagine what I could do with the living? ...namely yours?"
A big cat was it? Yet, why would it be in an environment like this? And even more strange, why put in so much effort to follow him in here? Perhaps it was....a person instead? He can't be too sure, and even still, the act of forming anything with blood like this was a bluff on his part. He only had one skill to his name, but he shouldn't needlessly waste it either.
So, he confidently stares and waits.

After that meal with Min-su, Susame had hung around Seoul for a little bit, taking stock of the various challenges of living here still as well as getting more experience. Yet, while he walked aimlessly, taking in the sights of Seoul near abandoned in every corner, Susame knows he's being followed. There is this tingling in the nape of his neck, wondering who or what it was.
While he couldn't identify it, he made sure to slip inside of an empty store, things littered on the floor but having significantly less space with the close aisles. There, carefully stepping over cans and the like, Susame waits while perusing different things within.
He waits for a single foot or paw to step on those hazardous cans to alert him that his hunch was right.

A lot of what made his family successful was the disregarding (not 100% mind you) of a nationalist mindset and striving to learn from different cultures. While coming home led right back to what made them a very Japanese family, he enjoyed traveling and learning new languages. Naturally, food was part of the conversation, and he had many favorites. Her meal is comparably more simple than his, yet he takes it in stride and enjoys the meal regardless.
He's always partial to lighter meals as is appropriate of his culture, but every so often the thought of eating something larger weighed on his mind a bit. "Dessert?" He brings his own cup to his lips and takes a drink, almost smiling against the rim. "This isn't exactly a date, so I can't speak on what you may want." When he thought of any leader-like position, the man before him didn't really seem to cross it too much if at all. Then again, he was also raised a certain way. The title was grandiose and bombastic in that fantastical nonsense sort of way and he even was trying to recruit him even as well. He couldn't really stifle away a laugh, though Susame was half-wanting to joke that his name was shared with a certain dish from a place called Broom. Ah, that can be attended to later, he supposed. It made for some funny coincidences.
"I'm not a man that typically enjoys 'following' unless under special circumstances." He replies, and then takes in a breath and nods.
"I am from Japan, so it is only natural I am given a name of such." He was really dabbing it on thick with the compliments and grandeur however. Like taking too much sugar and hoping not to get a stomach ache after. While Sami was no doubt eager and willing to help him, pride kept Susame grounded. He really was. While he was initially shooed politely out of the kitchen, Min-su did instruct him to grab all the bowls he could seem to find. Eyebrows perked, he left to do so, opening the cabinet and grabbing all he could in his hands. He set them neatly to the side where Min-su could grab them as needed to put food in them.
Didn't know that Min-su seemed the type to over-make things, but considering he was already reminding him of a nicer version of an Ajumma it seemed to fit pretty well.

They answer directly to Susame as well as have enough authority to speak of any concerns they have with the group as a whole. The judges have free reign to be more field focused or participate in other matters and each have certain tasks they specialize in due to either their natural skills or their class. Hah, he was starting to really figure her out little by little. "Alright, but I can't guarantee the usual experience when most things seem to be...automated for you." Being that as soon as he would pick a place to eat he'd be reminded they can just cycle through a list of food, choose, and then have it piping hot prepared on a plate at their leisure.
When he does so, at this small cafe, Susame gently sighs with his chosen meal in hand. "Robs a bit of the fun out of it doesn't it?" He laughs, but nonetheless seats himself down. He went American, a typical American breakfast with the eggs, pancakes, and bacon. "Every so often, I'd treat myself to something like this and not have to eat for the rest of the day." The memories were nice, plate and fork in hand and the small helping of syrup that he could drop on the pancakes.
