Cyrus tried to stay within the 15 meters of his ability to keep it active on Dr. Lynne, however, he could tell that he needed to move or else he would be attacked. As she spoke about his need to avoid taking aggro from the monster, he recognized that the Agent was turning toward him. He was unsure how much damage he could take so he started to zig-zag a bit, trying to dodge whatever attack was coming his way.

"Yea, I think it wants me dead either way!" Cyrus said, mistakenly trying to make a joke at the worst time. "I'll keep running but I'm not sure what is coming my way!" Cyrus said as he prepared to use a sound wave, trying to protect himself from any oncoming damage. This agent looked like it had a very high defense stat and Cyrus was worried that its PWR stat was also going to be high.

The agent started toward Cyrus as he sent a sound wave to soften the blow that was coming toward him as its hulking body pushed toward him. He played the sound wave simultaneously as he tried to dodge out of the way. “Dr. Lynne!? What the heck am I supposed to do against this thing?" He complained, quite pathetically. The hulking body was slow, but Cyrus knew he was in for a big hit.

Cyrus sat and drank his drink as he looked through the bar, before noticing a spider coming towards him. He pulled his hand back quickly as he noticed the spiders, slightly spilling his soda on his shirt. "Ah crap. Where the heck are there spiders?" Cyrus turned to ask the barkeep before he motioned over to Sebastian. Cyrus walked over about to cause a scene, before hearing Noelle talk about the mission.

"W-Was that meant to get my attention?" Cyrus asked confused. "Probably good to be in a group if we are going on a mission. My passive help out my teammates pretty well, so I'll happily join." Cyrus grabbed some napkins as he finished drying off his shirt and turned back to Sebastian, seeming like he was the one leading this mission.

"Any more information we need before we get..." Cyrus paused, forgetting that he hasn't even introduced himself. "My bad! My name's Cyrus. Excited to work with y'all!" He said, probably a little too loud as he continued to not have a common sense of volume control.

Cyrus stared in awe at the quick switch of Hana’s guitars. Also, she just glanced over the fact that a ghost was in her guitar empowering her to new levels. Cyrus was amazed, this game really was blowing his mind. The different guitars were easy to see their differences, but Cyrus wondered how long it took to get those drops and how much Hana had in comparison to his own class. "Those guitars are amazing... I wonder if I can get my guitar a buff like that." He pulled his guitar around from behind his back as he looked it over, a very basic electric guitar with a shine on it.

He turned to Natalya, she continued to speak about the safety in the cities. "I guess I need more offensive abilities." She spoke about how she hasn't spent many of her points to level up, he looked at his profile and tried to find his points. This game's point system only made him more excited to level up.

"I have spent a few of my points and leveled up a bit. I needed more health." Cyrus said with a chuckle. "I have done a few missions. One helping set up an event in Los Angeles, one taking down a spider's nest." Cyrus thought back about his time, meeting DeeDee and Enigma. Each of the people he has met so far had very different classes.

Emir, an interesting person stood in front of him. Once the party invite came by, Cyrus quickly agreed to join the party. Scanning Emir’s profile, he had to hide his amazement at the level gap between the two of them. He understood that some people were at higher levels but he hadn't met a level 40 yet. He was still amazed that he had met Enigma, he didn't realize that there were people still stronger than Enigma, in their mission, he had quickly taken care of spiders that were wandering around. He wondered what the power Emir had, and how well Cyrus' songs could improve them.

Straightening his jacket a bit, he tried to put on a good facade. "I will definitely support you!" His excitement burst through his facade and easily made it shown to Emir how excited he was to have a strong team member in this type of mission. He still was unsure why he choose to accept a mission above his level, but he thought that based on his last two attempts he would have a good teammate. He was sure his luck would run out eventually, but for the time being he enjoyed getting to help the higher levels and get his name out there.

"How do you wanna move forward with this? I can try and stealth us a bit, or I can just buff your PWR output a bit. I'm not sure what your class does so I'll follow your lead." Cyrus figured that Emir would want to take the lead, doubting he would want someone with limited offensive abilities in front of him.

Cyrus opened the door to the bar, having his hair fall down in front of his eyes and lay flat against the back of his head. He shook his head like a wet dog attempting to dry off. Most likely getting anyone near the doorway a little wet on accident due to the selfish inconsideration that he did to dry off. "Man I didn't realize it was going to rain..." Cyrus muttered, pulling up the job board application he had seen that brought him here.

He silently thought through this job, hopefully, a support class like him would be able to help some stealthier damage classes in the case they did fight something that was pulling children away from their homes. He walked up to the bar and asked for a soda, he thought that he shouldn't get intoxicated before a mission. Or at least, that would make it interesting. He chuckled at the idea of someone in a drunken state during a mission and if the game would make that a healable state.

Cyrus stood on the outside looking in as the white-out blocked his view of the polar bear and his comrade. The golem that Alexei had called seemed to be a great strength to him and he figured that they were going to win. Correction, he hope they would win. Losing a tutorial would be bad, let alone letting a team member die as a support class would be horrid and probably become a rumor that he was the worst healer around.

As the white-out faded, he saw Alexei sitting on the ground trying to refresh himself as the toll of the fight finished weighing on him. "Great job! You did it Alexei!" Cyrus clapped his hands and celebrated as he recognized that across his screen showed, Tutorial complete. "So, we finished the mission...Thanks for everything Alexei. We should do another mission soon, yea?" Cyrus said with a chuckle as he walked up the Alexei, putting a hand out to try and help him up. He was unsure how the end of the tutorial would go. If they would just disappear out of the area back to where they originally were or if they had to find a portal out. This game threw them in pretty deep to start, he assumed it wouldn't walk them through much at this point either.

Entering the area, Cyrus felt nervous. Neo-Tokyo was a high-risk area and Cyrus was a relatively low level. He assumed whoever he got teamed up with would be a lot stronger than him as a new player. The sights in Neo-Tokyo made him wonder what Tokyo used to look like, having never got to visit this side of the world when he was a roadie. The world had changed so quickly that he was unsure what was still standing from the old cities.

As he entered the mission waiting area, he noticed someone already waiting there. They had a much more elegant look to them and seemed a lot stronger. Cyrus grinned as he gave a quick wave. "Hey I'm Cyrus. I assume you are a part of my party for this mission?" He pulled his guitar around to the front and gave it a strum, "I'm a music-based support, so I'll be here to make sure you hit hard and when you need it, get a little revitalized." His melodies always seem to make his party members excited to be around him, he hoped the same would happen with this gem of a person.

As they both were standing in the designated area, an update came across Cyrus' screen saying Mission Started. Collect drops from Devils 0/10. Seemed straight forward enough, but knowing his luck it wasn't going to be all that was there.

The quick movement into a decision to push through the door made Cyrus realize how quick she wanted to be. Their difference in levels also made it quite easy to notice that if she was going to get killed by whatever was on the other side of the door, he was going to get killed as well. He would need to make sure that she stayed alive, but he was unsure of which song to use first. He slowly followed her as the door creaked open to reveal the Agent of Atlus. The huge tank with snakes around it. Yuck, Cyrus made a noise to show his disgust.

"If you get hit I can heal, but it may not be for a second. The downside of my songs is that each one has to play for a specific amount of time. So, If I start one, I have to finish the song before I get to switch. I do have one that gives all the buffs for a shorter amount of time...but I try to save that for when someone needs healing and a buff." Cyrus whispered, in the case that the Agent was going to make a charge towards them. He started to strum as he thought of which melody to play. He trusted that Dr. Lynne would be able to survive so with a smile he switched it over to a more electronic boss music.

"I trust your PWR stat will be increasing over our time together. So let's make that rock roll!" Cyrus regretted saying that sentence immediately as he pointed at the stone globe with the Agent. Cyrus always tried to be an entertainer, but he really shouldn't quit his day job for a comedic reason. His jokes would rather make someone hide their face than actually laugh. Maybe a good chuckle here and there. A small orange icon could now be seen by Dr. Lynne as an aura surrounded her as well.

Singing frogs? That would be an interesting summon, Cyrus wondered what other singing animals were around. If a wolf who howled could learn to hum a melody and be able to give a passive ability. His mind went back to DeeDee and her BombDee and Dragon, Kramer. The ability to summon other animals would be an interesting one. Though, Cyrus felt he wouldn’t be able to take good enough care of them with how much his attention would jump around.

This group was an unusual bunch compared to the people he was normally around. Hana seemed to be someone that was much closer to his abilities than the other people he has seen so far. And her guitar was spectacular to glance at. The ability she used left Cyrus with a dropped jaw, to think that a strum of a guitar could do damage enough to take on the slimes that acted as terrorists to him moments before left him speechless. The power difference between him and Hana was a huge gap. He was curious about that power difference in Natalya.

"Yeah, I could only imagine how much trouble we would've been in if we had to fight multiple polar bears!" Cyrus said with a chuckle, the tutorial really freaked him out at first but over time he realized that his tutorial mission was relatively easy in comparison to what it could have been. "Nice to meet you two! And Hana, what I was saying is...well, I wanna know more about your class! My songs give buffs and other support to my party members, seeing an ability that sends attacks from a strum is foreign to me." His childish wonder and nerdiness started to peak through his 'cool facade' as he hoped she would open up about her class and skill.

"I can only imagine how strong you are as well Natalya. If you two already knew each other, I assume you both have been at this for a while." This game seemed to attract a lot of different people, he could only imagine how many points these two have earned and what fights they have been a part of.

Cyrus continued his playing as he started moving to the last two people who weren't moving. He tried to come moving them, slowly with each strum he tried to not pull the attention of the polar bear as he recognized that the song was coming to an end, he hoped that Alexei would be able to take down the polar bear quickly before his song ended. He pushed one of the two with his guitar to try and speed them up. The last thing he wanted was for the winter soldier and general to crash down under the weight of the bear that was trying to take its own snack.

"Come on guys...Let's not be a snack for this thing." Cyrus said, trying to force them without getting out of the 15-meter range of his music. He watched the two last people cross the line of the mission as he turned back and saw a message saying Mission Updated. Uh, isn't it supposed to say mission complete? He couldn't see what the update was, but he assumed it was either leaving the area or defeating the polar bear. Either way, he needed to stay around Alexei. This tutorial needed them both to complete the mission, he wasn't going to abandon someone who helped him this much.

Well, they didn't get much time to plan, unfortunately. Watching Alexei jump forward towards the polar bear to take its attention away, he felt confused about what to do. In order for them all to be a part of his hidden status he would have to be within 15 meters of each of them and have them all in his party. The other option would be to buff Alexei and let him keep the attention of the bear as he told the other five to run.

Cyrus ran over to the group of people as he watched the polar bear turn its attention to Alexei. "Hi. Name's Cyrus. No time for pleasantries. GO!" Cyrus started to mush them around, pushing through a near crevice and pointing to the entrance that the two of them came in through. As he watched the majority of them start to escape, he looked at the mission objective and only saw 3/5 had been rescued. When turning back, he saw two of the people with torches still stuck in fear.

"Alexei is strong and I'll help him..." Cyrus said, playing a melodic chord on his guitar to play Jam Out. A melodic stream of rainbow colors started to fly off his guitar as all three of his melodies went active. He knew it wouldn't last long but hoped it gave Alexei enough Power and Vitality to take care of the polar bear as he moved the last two to safety.

Cyrus found himself wandering through the city, a safe zone was still odd to him. Moving from a job that was constantly on the move carrying heavy things and almost always in some sort of danger to come to a place that was mostly shops was interesting. Maybe it was time to search around and get a view of the land. Maybe he could find something interesting in the shops nearby, or at least he hoped he could. The items in this game still had him confused, what could happen when two things that didn't really fit together get forcibly forged? If only he had the money to find out, maybe he could sneak around and find someone who was experimenting and take a little peek.

As Cyrus continued his stroll, a shop caught his attention. He opened the door to see lots of monster corpses. He felt slightly disgusted by continued walking in, this may be a great place to ask the questions he needs answers to. "Hello? I got some questions..."

Cyrus gave her a small look of confusion. Her class was based on...eyes? That seemed very specific and not like any of the other classes he had come across so far. As Malorie blasted the two animals, he noticed his level also went up. Confused, he opened his menu to see that even being in her party, what she was killing was helping him grow in levels. He smirked, this was going to be a good partnership. Unless she was just using him, though, to anyone else they probably thought he was using her.

"As a support class, I can offer some help to get you stronger...or it can help us stealth a little bit to get the drop on some of these monsters. Though, their will has to be weaker than my power. Not sure how many of these monsters would be at this level. " Cyrus started, he had a problem with overexplaining his thoughts and this was one of those times that his brain couldn't shut down his mouth.

Cyrus pulled out his guitar and got ready to use his melodies. "Oh, by the way. Since you are in my party, I'd look at your stats a little more. I have a pretty great passive skill. One of your stats goes up overtime as we are in the party." Cyrus still didn't fully understand that skill but he was sure a higher level would get to the bottom of it. Either way, he was her backup.

Cyrus enjoyed the way that both DeeDee and BombDee got to play and express themself. That was exactly what he wanted from his music, to move people to find a way to enjoy themselves within the area they are in. While they were working, they could still find happiness and enjoyment, especially with music. The time went by quickly and as the first show finished, he gave them a high five as he walked down around the stand. A crowd clapped both DeeDee and BombDee off respectively as their time on stage finished. The crowd also gave a round of applause to Cyrus as he got off stage. His ego was boosted quite a bit in that time. He sat down in the back of the stage to take a drink from the juice that DeeDee gave him before the show as he enjoyed the quiet in between the sets.

As the next show went on, it was very similar to the first. Again, having DeeDee and BombDee join whenever they felt ready. As the night finished, Cyrus watched as the three of them tore down their own shop as the event ended and Cyrus tore down his.

"DeeDee, Kramer, BombDee. Thank you, guys, for your help today! If I can ever help you with anything, feel free to message me. " Cyrus said with a wink, knowing that DeeDee didn't speak much. As he looked at the torn-down area that was his stage, more staff came over and grabbed the leftovers that they were going to reuse, handing Cyrus back the banner he had across the top. He smiled, it was a success. He felt that he was starting to ensure that anyone who came to him looking for validation would receive it, or at least receive good constructive criticism. Not whatever lies he got back when he asked. He turned and waved to his new friend as he left, seeing the Mission Complete sign across his face.
