Description:
“Yea, I really hate sending you guys in there but we need the materials those Mini-Lesser Devils drop. Good for you, they don’t tend to stay in an area where stronger monsters are but they are a pain in the ass to hunt. If you could kill at least ten of those suckers, that should hold us over till the next month or so. Oh, just one other piece of advice. Don’t use anything combustible around them. They seem to thrive on fire. When exposed, they get bigger and meaner. If you get in trouble, just know there probably will not be anybody coming to look for you.”
In the outer regions of Neo-Tokyo, a small nest of Mini-Lesser Devils has made their home. These creatures are not too strong but their numbers make dealing with them a pain. Best to try to tackle one or two at a time. Don’t make too much of a fuss, you might stir the attention of something else out there.

Neo-Tokyo, a place that before the game started Cyrus hoped to visit but worried he wouldn't ever be able to afford it. His excitement for being in the city soon turned into a bit of exploration as a mission came across his screen. He would need to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and go to the outskirts of the city in order to accept the mission. The idea of fighting Mini-devils scared him a bit, but maybe his hidden ability would help out quite a bit. He wondered who else would accept the mission, seeing that it could be accepted by a lot more people seeing as it is a bit of a stronger mission.

Cyrus pulled his jacket on, which had a bejeweled hood, with a large musical note on the back. He probably would seem like a tourist to anyone who didn't recognize that he was in search of a good mission. Cyrus felt confused at the contrast between the two areas, the big city and the countryside next to it. The large buildings seemed to just end and open into a bigger area. As he walked through the countryside, he felt like he was missing something before coming upon the nest. He opened the mission screen again, accepted it, and smirked. The chaos that he would expect from someone using fire while fighting devils would seem like the way people try to describe fighting fire with fire. A big explosion would be a fun way to start this mission.

Emir munched on some snacks as he relaxed. It was his first time visiting good old Neo-Tokyo. It was as dangerous as the people said. Emir had manipulated his dark sand to cover his body. He stealthed himself to avoid trouble. It did not work on the snacks well but it was not like most of the monsters even cared about the weird sight. The ones that did were dispatched quickly. It was not even needed. The area he was in was not devoid of life and was pretty busy. The only reason he remained as such was out of habit. It was easier when he was exploring alone to do so in stealth mode.[break][break]
The Night Chaser was going by a more sparsely populated area when he got a mission alert. He accepted it. The man had some free time. He needed to find talent for his guild. Anyone with a sense of talent could be found in the most dangerous zones. Only the slow witted would play it safe all the time. Not to say that the safe zones lacked top rankers. It was just the fact that most of them were niche, belonged to a force, or was what Emir was looking for. The general vibe was off for all of them.[break][break]
The HUD started giving him an alert. The mission details paired him with a random partner. Emir was surprised because he did not remember seeing that as a part of a requirement to take part in it. He un-stealthed himself in surprise and swore. The system was getting too in depth when it came to tricks like this. Emir would have accepted the mission even if it did not. This was not his first random party mission. Emir waited in a designated area. Wondering what his party member was going to be like.[break][break]

Entering the area, Cyrus felt nervous. Neo-Tokyo was a high-risk area and Cyrus was a relatively low level. He assumed whoever he got teamed up with would be a lot stronger than him as a new player. The sights in Neo-Tokyo made him wonder what Tokyo used to look like, having never got to visit this side of the world when he was a roadie. The world had changed so quickly that he was unsure what was still standing from the old cities.

As he entered the mission waiting area, he noticed someone already waiting there. They had a much more elegant look to them and seemed a lot stronger. Cyrus grinned as he gave a quick wave. "Hey I'm Cyrus. I assume you are a part of my party for this mission?" He pulled his guitar around to the front and gave it a strum, "I'm a music-based support, so I'll be here to make sure you hit hard and when you need it, get a little revitalized." His melodies always seem to make his party members excited to be around him, he hoped the same would happen with this gem of a person.

As they both were standing in the designated area, an update came across Cyrus' screen saying Mission Started. Collect drops from Devils 0/10. Seemed straight forward enough, but knowing his luck it wasn't going to be all that was there.

Emir was fine chilling for a moment. He talked himself into being calm and he had no reason to rush. It was not until he got his mission partner that he made a face. The dude was good looking. It was not Emir’s fault he had a weakness for pretty faces. He could not react but gave a thumbs up. His thoughts were on how Allah took extra time with this one. His mouth was a bit faster. “Yep! Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Emir Nebu. I guess I am your partner for this mission.” He sent a party invite through the system.[break][break]
The Night Chaser raised his eyebrow. Coming across a music based class was not surprising. Someone that claimed themselves as a support type was uncommon. It was a concept that Emir found intriguing. Till he second guessed himself and just believed the man meant he leaned more towards supporting. He had not seen any class without an offense or defensive ability yet. Even Malorie had their own way of not dying.[break][break]
“Sure. If you support me. I can handle all the DPS functions. Nothing shall pass me.” Emir was getting over his initial reaction. The man was a real cutie but his instinct said straight, not the GOP bathhouse kind, but genuinely no interest in other dudes. That and he was pretty happy with Nik and whatever that whole situation was. “I guess we can get this show on the road.” Emir’s lexicon was rapidly expanding with all the cool vernaculars.[break][break]

Emir, an interesting person stood in front of him. Once the party invite came by, Cyrus quickly agreed to join the party. Scanning Emir’s profile, he had to hide his amazement at the level gap between the two of them. He understood that some people were at higher levels but he hadn't met a level 40 yet. He was still amazed that he had met Enigma, he didn't realize that there were people still stronger than Enigma, in their mission, he had quickly taken care of spiders that were wandering around. He wondered what the power Emir had, and how well Cyrus' songs could improve them.

Straightening his jacket a bit, he tried to put on a good facade. "I will definitely support you!" His excitement burst through his facade and easily made it shown to Emir how excited he was to have a strong team member in this type of mission. He still was unsure why he choose to accept a mission above his level, but he thought that based on his last two attempts he would have a good teammate. He was sure his luck would run out eventually, but for the time being he enjoyed getting to help the higher levels and get his name out there.

"How do you wanna move forward with this? I can try and stealth us a bit, or I can just buff your PWR output a bit. I'm not sure what your class does so I'll follow your lead." Cyrus figured that Emir would want to take the lead, doubting he would want someone with limited offensive abilities in front of him.
