Noelle was filled with a sense of ever growing tiredness as she trudged forward, no doubt the effects of Manni. The small stuffed animal tended to alter her mood when something was happening and the mission prompt that appeared in front of her face said everything that Noelle needed to know about the reason why. They didn't even think really as a simple flick of the wrist opened her Umbrella. A light shower of dreary dark grey rain appeared around her as she blinked and mentally accepted the prompt from Earth-Chan. As she stood upright she found herself in a street of corpses.

This was going to be a long day, and she thanked Manni in her arm for the sense of lethargy as it stopped her from reacting to the littered bodies of the dead. Looking to the likely culprit, a knight in shining armor her expression was muted; judgeless in its stoicism. The Halo above her head settling close to the top of her head as her umbrella and jacket became a pitched shade of black that left no room for color in its void. Specters of rain amplifying the rain around her by leaps and bounds as their forms coalesced.

"If you have a name keep it to yourself would you. I would rather we just get this over with wouldn't you? It already pisses me off your going to get pleasure from this," Noelle would say in a tired tone of voice. A rhetorical question as she shifted her umbrella to roll, one of her [Fabrications] beginning to stop raining as it took on sunny weather, the illusion attempting to shift and appear as Noelle or a person the [Mirror Knight] would have fond memories of. A strong feeling of joy flooding over the knight, as the effects of [Joy] could take hold and potentially begin to building of Noelle's rolling storm of weathering down the murderer in front of them.[break]

Chills ran down her spine in a sort of disgust that Noelle rarely felt now that she had so much [WIL]. Her naturally stoic face not showing any signs of change even as the group seemed to acquaint themselves with themselves and her illusions. She'd throw them each another bone, but she had to watch at least two of them before she could truly help them in any meaningful way. Seika though? Noelle could help her more immediately.

The shadow-y figure with the umbrella next to Seika would ripple only to the girl's eyes as Noelle showed her visions of her own fears, the person she feared most before her dressed in Noelle's raincoat and holding the umbrella. Her mind hardening in resolve, but losing her the physical edge she otherwise had. A buff and a debuff appearing on her called [Fabrication: Fear]. Noelle not bothering to explain as she herself hated her core ability would instead address the other two, "Fishing, sort of. The shoreline spawns sea-based creatures to what I know and we need to kill three of them. I'll be coordinating each of you to fight one of these creatures and helping when you need me to. I'll also be providing a trade-off, that you likely didn't ask for. I am, however, not asking. That said come on, the monsters won't spawn themselves."

Noelle would finish her statement and turn, beginning to stroll in a manner that seemed like a funeral procession of one. Her mind going over what she would need to separate for the following battle from one another.[break]

Noelle had to admit she really wasn't expecting the girl to defend her, but as they rounded out the church and into the wider city it became clear they were both in for the haul of things. Which was good, because they still needed to find and kill whatever these monsters were here that it wanted them after... likely those vampires the hunter had thought that she was one of? That would be fitting if she were completely honest.

As the pair slowed, Noelle shook her head responding to the question levied by her pink date, "No, those were harmless. I'm an [Illusionist] First, and a [Tank] Second. Though currently I haven't been able to really invest much in the second. You'll be able to tell when I attack from when I'm simply trying to trick others though... its obvious to me at least."[break][break]
Noelle would let out a chortle of a laugh while listening to the retort to their self description. That was a first in a while, "Well, that seems a little hard when the only light here is street lamps right now. Speaking of the mission though, I think we need to kill monsters in the area while maintaining the hand contact? I assume its vampire extermination if it dropped us here. So unless the lady in there is gonna relax, I think we're searching on our own. A treasure hunt for violence sort of deal I guess?"[break][break]

Noelle was surprised during her first look at the system message that appeared before her. A beckoning for her to be summoned at the system's whimsy to a location where they thought she was would be 'fun to watch'. That was the wording, join the mission and provide me with a bit more entertainment more or less. The language was colorful, and she was honestly not happy to see it, but it was what it was.

Activating Manni as she gripped the strange plushie, then accepting the prompt Noelle found herself atop what looked like a rotten flesh train. The strong sense of cheer that Manni had forced into her helping her keep relaxed in the situation as the immediately disturbing prospect was quelled by her inner sense of joy. Her face stayed simply blank though as she took in her surroundings. A party interface appearing to the side of her HUD before she closed everything down. Seeing her two companions up top she would speak as to announce herself.

"Interesting ride. I'm going to take it I got summoned to help you two then?" Noelle would state as she looked back towards the road ahead and then behind. This was definitely not the track that she had rode with Rory, but that was fine.[break]

Wow she was excited. That was likely the only thing that had managed to run through Noelle's head as they were both greeted by a sudden crossbow bolt. A sudden new figure appearing as Noelle tilted her head, doing their damnedest to keep her expression from souring visually. It was harder, but the lethargy from Manni was actually helping with something for once. Looking down at the held hand and then back to the woman that had entered Noelle raised an eyebrow and looked at her pure white umbrella, coat, and halo that hung above her. How did she look like a vampire exactly? Did it matter? She may as well play along, would certainly make for a more entertaining 'date' then whatever they was about to fumble on horribly.

Around the 'couple' the rain increased in intensity as three shadows with umbrellas down over their face appeared before they lifted their parasols above their head. Attempting to take on the appearance of the comrades of the vampire slayer. A mischievious smile growing on Noelle's lips as she scanned out with a tired gaze activating a fabrication of Fear on the woman before them as she spoke, "Another city rat here to ruin my fun, are we? Well sadly for you the system has said that I am supposed to be having a wonderful little date with this fine woman next to me. So I will be leaving you instead with good company."

With her speech, Noelle commanded her echoes forward to rush the woman as she activated her halo. Giving her an even more angelic appearance as she hopefully became immune to being attacked in the short span of time. Pulling Summer along and back down the street for a different block. She was certain that was an actual player and not some random monster and she was not exactly into the idea of being a murderer.

As they hopefully pulled away with the sudden distraction, and an echo dropping her [Hazy Stroll] as they moved away, "Name's Noelle, nice to meet you Summer. Though to straighten out the details, at this point I'm more just a miserable angel not a vampire - not that that hunter needs to know that. Don't usually wear this much white either, but it seemed smarter then my normal black and white look. You're sense of fashion is definitely way better then mine though with that outfit."[break]

Noelle gave them all some credit, they were clothed. Having expected their company to show up dressed in swimwear rather then clothes, and the thought of the visible skin made her hackles raise in disgust. Shivering she would get over the feeling fast as the first approached and greeted her, silently nodding a hello the second arrived. Immediately being reminded of Rory by the level of distaste from the young ladies overly chipper greating. The last seemed like another side of Rory that she always found kind of gross, but it was just a normal type of thing.

Seeing them all gathered Noelle would smooth over what little twitch of a reaction she had, the girl spoke in turn finally, "Noelle. I'd say the pleasure is mine, but I have no pleasure from any of this so lets be clear. I'm overwatching you three so you can get a better grasp of your own skills. I am an Illusionist who specializes in defensive tactics, so don't worry about dying I will be making sure that doesn't happen. As for the rain, its a class thing, sort of."

Decidedly not seeming to want to speak further on the matter, Noelle instead twirled her umbrella with a roll of her wrist and the rain would spin and shift until it created the image of three shadow-y figures each holding a replica of the bleak colored umbrella as the rain illusion became denser and denser around her, the noise surprisingly muted for as thick as the rain was.

Having the echoes walk up to each of the three as she turned and moved towards the shoreline. Speaking again, "These will be your guardians out there. I suggest acquainting yourself with eachother and basic information on your classes while we move."[break]

Noelle had been one of the first to notice the changes inside of the fog, after all, she lived here now. Having taken on a job to investigate it alongside a ground the white-haired youth stood next to the landing plaza from other zones to the Forgotten Mists. Hoping her companions would arrive soon as she wished to get moving on this already. This place was dangerous as it was already, and that was before you factored in the monstrous enemies that fielded this place being even worse then normal.

Shifting the greys of her umbrella and raincoat to match the dusty ashen color of the entire place that the world labelled Forgotten Mists, Noelle looked ready, if a bit strange. Her right hand grasping the handle of an umbrella as rain fell around her, and her left grasping what looked like a plushy with a half-moon half-sun face. For the first time, it felt light and filled her with a bit of the joy in life that she normally missed. In the moment though, all it did was make her edge less sharp, which likely wasn't that great given the situation.

This one was actually a little odd. She had been offered a pop-up quest not but a day after her time helping a group of new players enter the seen in Souel. It hadn't really prompted anything crazy, but it had stated that the mission was low-rank which she saw as a way to just get some free experience in the mix. It was a good thing when something like this fell in your lap, which was why when she was given the contents of the mission with a countdown timer her mood soured. No outward sign of being negative, and she was required to hold hands with someone for the entire extent of the mission...

"Well this should go horribly," She muttered as the countdown neared four, feeling the sudden heat of someone's hands on her own cold and pale one. Resting her face back to a purely neutral expression. They weren't allowed to show negative emotions, but a poker mask of neutrality was more then possible for the girl as she shifted the weight of her umbrella and lightened the rain illusion to the lightest drizzle around the two as the umbrella moved between them. An angelic halo illuminating the world around the two as Noelle turned to get a good look at her companion as her umbrella and raincoat look on a pearl-white hue that matched her hair.

Starting the process of becoming a full-time extra hand for hire came with some ups and downs if you were to ask Noelle. It had the downside of being really annoying to need to advertise yourself, especially for an introvert like herself. Though it had the upside of letting her do what she stated as her goal when she had returned from her time in stasis - to keep others from the misery that defined the identity of her everything. So much so that the system even ignored everything about her besides her permanently dower mind set and mood when it had made her entire class and its abilities.

Being on the cusp of level thirty gave her a unique situation though, as she felt rather well-off for her level. Though perhaps that was simply wishful thinking? That was likely it. Today she had been given a special tasking to over watch a bunch of the newer initiates into the world as they attempted a somewhat mild level mission, danger wise. A chaperone to keep them safe while they pushed themselves to adapt.

Gathered to the entrance to the beachfront the three strangers were meant to congregate to for their mission they watched out with a tired expression. Umbrella raised as the gentle sound of rain fell around them, the sent of seaside rain and the subsequent illusion of the rain around the girl a constant for any that knew Noelle. Her entire clothing set and its dreary grey color mixed with the rain. A halo hovering above her head and a rather strange stuffed animal in the hand that didn't hold her umbrella.[break]

The following minutes came fast as she strolled past the emptied roads, and swept past any crawlers with a sort of practiced ease - not that she was worried about getting attacked in this place. She was simply able to keep herself safe, and where she didn't have protection herself she had her figments, the illusory dopples having a nice effect of keeping her completely out of the way of danger when traversing the cold pavement.

Approaching the apartment complex Noelle would look around before simply climbing up the steps to the place she had found before, moving the guild medallion to hand and observing it as she shifted her umbrella mindlessly to let her shuffle into the building with it closed. Looking around the dusty apartment was no larger then a small kitchenette, a bed that needed a wash, a closet, and the bathroom, but it would do. After all, if she ever did need more room she could just expand it to cover more of the building she was in.

It had been a while since Noelle had existed. She could feel it actually, the effects of the stasis that she had entered. They weren't horrible, and in the case of the class she had been so upset by the entire time she was finding that the improvements that had been made were... more then useful. She would need to be careful about that happening again given that she had no business going into a useless state at this stage. She was far from the strongest, but she knew that growing was still the best recourse.

Having returned she had found herself alone though. SIGMA an impossibility, Rory missing even to her skill that let them keep in touch indefinitely, and worst of all still no contact to her family. At this point she could really only assume the worst, and as she deepened the ebb and flow of her endless rainstorm she would trudge forward towards one of the smallest buildings she had found here thus far. It was a one bedroom apartment that she had found abandoned like everything in the mists when she had come to explore before. It would also serve as the place that she would be forming her own guild. A guild just for her and her alone.

Having seen the effects prior with SIGMA and ANTHEM she had every reason to also partake in the system for the benefits it could definitely give to her. A slow trudge through the fog bank was met with the quiet of the woman that parted it, she had no reason to talk if alone and it would likely never change from that. Noelle watched the display of the young man for a moment, but rolled her eyes at his words. She couldn't quite get what formation he was trying for, but it clearly would not work. They either engaged as one or fell apart, that was clear as day to her. Pointing her umbrella at the dragon this time she spun it to show the pattern of a Sunny Day, a second golden chain wrapping its neck as she layered yet another debuff onto the poor beast. Waltzing forward with a slow, but assured pace, Noelle would pause as she got just a bit behind Mikael.

"Oh yeah, sure sure let me just find my non-existent ranged damage options that won't hit you too. Im a damn illusionist buddy! I'm about as close to a back-liner as you are buddy. Just more brain then muscle," Noelle would state as a spray of rain would run down off their jacket and spray in a cone up into the dragon with a shocking level of success. The attack seeming to leave it fairly softened as she would push further forward, needing only a couple feet before Noelle would sink their surroundings into deep black and white like a film noir, what was unseen was the wave of pure misery that accompanied it, though the bleeding eyes of the dragon give a sort of black ichorous tale from where it had been caught up.

"Seeing why I can't be behind you yet dude?" Noelle would call as she opened the Umbrella and spun it and gathered water to block a physical bash from the dragon. That meant the Sorrow Tag hadn't taken, but that was fine. The debuffs that mattered were skewed in the correct fashion. She would have her strongest attack back soon too.[break]

Noelle would do as instructed, kicking back and relaxing pretty heavily with her support buddy in one arm and her umbrella in the other. Deciding, however, that Rory was absolutely not hyped up enough, Noelle would rotate her Umbrella at him showing a bright warm sun, giving Rory a PWR boost and a DEF down, and giving herself the opposite. This track went over multiple terrains and Noelle wasn't too sure about what challenges came with each, but she was pretty sure about her ability to absolutely ruin competition before it even began.

"Then I guess we better guarantee the win right? Haha. Oh these poor dude don't know whats about to hit 'em," Noelle would state with a chuckle. As the countdown started Noelle would begin to prep up her Hazy Stroll ability. She couldn't blind Rory with it, so it was a pretty sure fire trick to slow the pack and stay protected. As the go hit she would release it coating herself and the closest racers in gold chains and fog. Beginning the dig into the competition's SPD from the start.
