The sound of dentistry and ancient Egyptian history was fast underway! Panya slowly had been trying to overpower the dentist elf as the two had come to blows. The whirring of a dentist drilled clashed against Panya's sarcophagus as the archeologist had been doing her best to hold her own. "Th-That's good! I'm just peachy over here!" She swung her makeshift battering ram to push the elf away again. He eyed the other two currently fighting his friend and would begin to make his way over to them, taking off in a dead sprint. Panya clutched the lid to her coffin and opened it partially as an eerie mist came out, and something inside would begin to stir. A bandage wrapping rolled out and onto the floor for Panya to use, although it wasn't her intent. Instead, she pointed the opened sarcophagus top towards the running elf and... "Oh, no you don't!"Several bandages had stretched out to coil around the dentist elf's legs and midsection, with Panya gripping her weapon. "I'm not letting you..." she slowly swung him back around overhead and sent the elf slamming back away from the ground. "...get away that easy!" If all had gone according to plan, he'd be embedded into the ground and fully incapacitated. But unfortunately, luck wasn't on Panya's side. "H-Huh?!" The elf landed on his two feet and instead of being defeated, grabbed the wrappings and tugged on them from her. Panya held on tight and grunted while standing her ground. The elf had then quickly began to spin her around in a circle above him, clutching onto her weapon for dear life while. "WAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUGH!" The woman was thrown around like a rag doll, eventually being thrown directly at Kurai's direction! kurai Elara Salisbury

The sarcophagus had provided the two with ample opportunity to escape the hailstorm of presents. It was big enough to cover them both, although Panya did worry for the mummy that had been inside of it. Would he be cranky by having his beauty rest interrupted by this constant banging of presents? Who was to say, but his bandage wrappings were fairly helpful! "I agree," she beamed at Kurai, "Much better than fighting that huge skeleton from last time."The other woman had finally noticed the both of them. The ever timid one, Panya fled behind Kurai as her self confidence had all but faded. She still covered the both of them from raining presents as a blush came to her cheeks from his comment about being a strong woman. "Wuh-Well, actually, this doesn't weigh that much...at least to me, anyway. It's nice to meet you though." Could anybody else pick this thing up but her? It had never really been tested on the count of people being smashed by it. Just then, the most peculiar sight came before the trio. Two elves, rushing forward with weapons in hand! Were rather, dentist equipment. The archeologist pursed her lips together while she mused over the current events. Was this some sort of joke by Earth-chan? She continued picking up presents, now carrying 8 in total before they had rushed Kurai and the other woman. They focused on the speedster while Panya decided to focus on the doctor. Her weapon came down on the elf's head, or so she had been assuming what would happen. In actuality, he used a sword assembled out of gift wrapped boxes to defend against the attack. Panya's eyes widened in surprise as their blows connected. "Oh my. Usually they're defeated at this point." She readied her sarcophagus for another swing as the two did their battle while the others were busy with the speedster. Panya's stats were fairly close to his own, although they each had gotten some shots in with the other. His sword managed to cut her chest a bit, tearing the shirt she had on. While one lucky swing had given the elf a nasty looking bruise. "How's the fast one going?" she called, out, busy clashing once more with the powerful elf. kuraiElara Salisbury

"Owowow! What's going on?"
Panya had been getting pelted by the raining presents from above. She summoned her sarcophagus to shield herself from the fallout while staring up at the present boxes of all sizes and shapes. The archeologist was confounded by what was happening in the Draco Islands as presents and boxes of all sizes bombarded anybody unfortunate enough to be caught standing underneath. The large makeshift shield had offered Panya some adequate coverage from the raining projectiles. Her free hand plucked one of the parcels from the ground and observed its packaging.
"How odd. It's just a normal present from the looks of it. Nothing really out of the ordinary."
She shook it a few times before throwing it into her inventory and continuing to investigate the rest of the presents. Her little curious self had began to pick up every present that she had come across and stuff it into her bag. Panya continued running around and grabbing as many presents as she could before running into a familiar face. The woman's expression lightened while waving over towards the spikey haired rebel.
"Kurai! It's wonderful to see you again. Do you need some cover?" she offered, offering him a place underneath her sarcophagus before the other woman nearby would call over for the both of them. Panya waved over in greeting, sometimes collecting a present or two in the meanwhile.
"D-Do you know her, Kurai?"

"Heh, thank you! I'm starting to like this whole "crush your enemies thing" that you adventurers do."Panya said to the two, recalling her weapon as it evaporated back inside of her inventory. She looked at the arm injury and huffed to herself. This would take a little while before she could find a medic or a place to get this looked at. The archeologist would just have to make due then. She looked over at Kurai as he went about recovering from...whatever had happened to him. She knew he was going to scold her for worrying about him, but she couldn't help it. She was human, after all. "Rest for a moment, Kurai. Even the best of us need to recuperate."Seere thankfully would be present to offer his knowledge about where they may have been able to find treasure or valuables here, and it did make sense in a way. Usually bosses and strong monsters kept the best stuff for themselves. Panya wandered over to the sarcophagus where the larger skeleton had once resided before sticking her hand inside and fishing around for something. Soon enough, her hands grazed against a paper of some kind. She pulled it up and would reveal the item to be a bundled scroll of some kind. "Aha!" Panya said, slowly undoing the seal as she could have jumped in glee. "Now let's see what you were hiding then. It could be the deed to a manor, or some hidden piece of history forgotten by modern day."Her eyes scanned over the writing inside before her expression faltered. "The recipient of this and their party is hereby entitled to a second roll for the Halloween Event...Ugh, Earth-chan!" The woman groaned, throwing the the scroll to Seere and huffing. She crossed her arms in a frustrated pout, pacing in the room as she'd eventually just sat down beside Kurai and pinch the bridge of her nose. kurai

She had banged the skeleton up a good bit, although probably not as much damage as Kurai could do easily in his new form. She grew curious about asking where he had learned something so devilish, but the current happenings made it hard for her to really focus on anything but this boss skeleton in front of them. "Just be careful."Kurai had made short work of the monstrous skeleton in front of them, with his newfound claws and pentacle searing themselves into its bones. Panya followed through with bashing the skeleton with the butt of her sarcophagus, sending it reeling back once more. It was standing on its last leg, thoroughly damaged by the actions performed against it as the archeologist charged forward with her weapon in hand. Panya pinned the skeleton against the wall as it swung its weapon around, attempting to skewer her before she could finish it off. TO his credit, it managed to land a slash at her arm, causing her to reel backwards with a pained yelp. The sudden adrenaline had made her slam her bring her foot up and kick her sarcophagus against the skeleton and wall, causing several bones to crack and break off as its mass crumble to the floor. To make sure that this wouldn't be getting up, Panya slammed her weapon on the ground, crushing the bones again, then again, until she was fully tired out. "Ha...Ha...I think we're good."She said while trying to catch her breath, finally able to feel the dull sting of the sword's attack on her arm. Blood had spilled out, but thankfully wasn't too deep of a cut. kurai

"I'll worry about myself when my friends aren't hurt."Panya replied back, frowning at Kurai as the man had refused her concern away. It was a stark contrast from how pleasant she had been beforehand, now showing a bit of aggression inside of her despite how meek and timid the woman was known for. Despite this, Kurai appeared to not be dying immediately, and she did begrudgingly leave him be and allow the rest of the fight to go by. The archeologist then would scurry up towards the large sarcophagus that was a beautiful resting place for a creature long past, much like the one on top of her back. She grabbed the lid and heaved it off, summoning all of her strength to push the lid off. Ancient dust had been freed, slowly floating into the atmosphere as she coughed and took a peak at what would be inside of this thing. But before that could be done, an arm pushed the lid clean off of the contain, sending Panya back and the lid smashing into the wall. "That's...a big one!" Panya said, bringing her weapon up to defend herself. The larger skeleton, however, would bring its own weapon that was buried with it, a sickly looking scimitar. The skeleton charged all the way at her, only to be interrupted by Kurai's timely intervention. She pushed herself off of the ground and followed up after Kurai's attack. She swung her weapon towards the skeleton's head, sending a crushing blow to its head! kurai

"Right, well, easy for you to say. I'm used to skeletons being in a coffin. And not trying to kill me." Panya replied, readying herself for another round with the skeletons. She'd swing her coffin back up to her front facing direction as the skeletons would begin to close in on them again. "Ready to go, boys?" Her answer came in the form on Kurai staggering back and trying to collect itself. At seeing her partner become downed, Panya was quick to rush to his side. "Kurai! Are you alright?"He looked pained. The archeologist raised an arm to wrap around him and start fighting her way out of there before the boy would become surrounded in darkness. His form radiated a black ichor-like magic that caused Panya to stumble back herself. "Whoa!" She'd lean back as Kurai made short work of the small group of skeletons that she was fending off. Panya was ready to smash one into dust before the crack of a whip would break one's head clean off. "Goodness, you're a force to be reckoned with! Good job!" Panya called out to him. She worked on the last skeleton with a sword, clashing against his attacks as her weapon was brought up to meet with his attacks. She had just been pushed back by a shoulder check just in time to be saved by the now demonic looking Kurai. With an approving and grateful nod, Panya stood up and was able to breathe a sight of relief for their handiwork. "Alright, now let's take a look at that golden sarcophagus across from us." She said, pointing her finger towards the ornate resting place of what was likely force that was far greater than any of the undead they had gotten here so far. Panya walked closer, careful to keep an eye out for anything dangerous. If she could get close to the container, she'd slowly begin to pry open the lid to see what was inside. kurai

Panya looked down at the picture that Dee Dee had taken of their tutorial adventure as Panya blinked, trying to summon up memories of it. One could never really forget the giant spider though, as everything suddenly came back up to the woman. "Oh, that's where we met! My apologies, Dee Dee. It's just been some time since I've thought back on the tutorial was all. Ever since, I've been so busy..." She would be more than happy to allow her to accompany them on this trip so far, but Lafey wasn't the biggest proponent of such. It wasn't until she began to start getting mean with her comments that the archeologist had enough. She spun around to look at the walking pastel nightmare and cup her chin in her palm, pinching both cheeks. "That's enough from you." Panya's soft and sweet voice had disappeared, only to be replaced by a stern, colder voice. It was rare for her to get upset by things like this, although the combination of things the cheerleader was had pushed her to this point. Those naturally warm eyes filled with the fire of a surpressed fury. "I don't know half of what you're saying, and I can put up with that because of your condition. But when you start disrespecting me or anybody else in our party, that's where I draw the line. If you want my help, you lose this bratty attitude and apologize to Dee Dee for what you've said. Right now."Regardless if Lafey did it or not, Panya spun back around to Dee Dee and went back to her usual mannerisms again. "Now then, if we're going to that shrine, we should take the southernmost exit and follow the path through the mountain. It should be simple enough."deedee lafey

"Hello? I don't believe we've met." Panya said, opting to focus on the strange woman before her now. She honestly would have remembered meet somebody like this woman before. The tanned woman looked down at the word balloon in confusion, wondering how on Earth that somebody could talk like this. She poked the word bubble some in interested and even tried to pull on it, solely to see if it was as malleable as it seemed. After that investigation, the archeologist moved back onto the task at hand. The woman had hid behind her and clearly knew this woman, though the name was somewhat new to her. She was meeting quite the number of new people today. "Regardless, it's nice to meet you both."Lafey's penchant for making her wince at every sentence aside, she was happy to see that she knew some bits and pieces of the area. Her folder was already taken out of her hands and she was still protective over it. A hand remained ready to snatch it back should the pastel woman decide she had better things to be entertained by. Dee Dee chimed in with her own information about things, Panya listening with intent as she absorbed the information given to her. "I see. Although it's most certainly here, I would imagine. You can just barely make out the shrine up in the mountains to the east. But my curiosity about that shrine remains the same."Just then, Lafey even offered to travel with her to the shrine, in her own way that was masked behind a headache's worth of terminology. Panya seem flustered, trying to think of an answer to herself while trying to think about how to turn her down. "W-Well, I'm not sure. I wasn't expecting another person with me, to be honest." Just when she thought the she was in the clear, Dee Dee joined her as well. Panya's doubts about partying with new people she wasn't familiar with had her consider just teleporting out too a safety zone and to reschedule for another day, but Idir had always pushed her to try some more new things in life. And who knew? Maybe she'd need the extra help. "Very well then. If you two would like to join me, I'd greatly appreciate your assistance. It's not too much of a task. Just investigating rumors. Nothing entirely difficult."deedee lafey

She was honestly surprised about the origins of where Seere learned about where to find this cave system. Were all those racers actually trying to find whatever kind of treasure as they were, or was it yet another rumor to be used as currency when one had run out of money to buy drinks with? "I would have expected somebody to have been here already, with how many people currently reside inside of Motor City." Panya observed while holding the flame towards the walls as they made their way through the underground tunnels. That noise from before though, it certainly didn't spell out a welcoming committee for everyone. Skeletons would have joined their little expedition as Panya jumped back from the small group. It did make sense for them to be here, and she was thankful that it was those stereotypical skeletons this time, not some more powerful ones. The small cramped space made it hard to offer help, but Kurai made short work of them all. the tanned woman could only watch as Seere and his summoner banished the enemies back into the lifeless unknown. As they looked behind them, Panya would also currently be battling some of the skeletons in the rear. Their attacks launched themselves at her, blocked by the sarcophagus in hand. "This must have been an ambush or something. There's a lot more of them in my way!" She swung her weapon at the ground, sending some back to give them a bit of breathing space. Using this to her advantage, the woman took a step forward and swung the sarcophagus at them, managing to deal some damage to them. Unfortunately, these were the skeletons that weren't exactly known for breaking in one solid blow. They crackled their bones and rattled in displeasure. "H-Hey! You're supposed to be way weaker!" She complained at the skeletons, bringing her weapon up to guard against them once again. kurai

It was nothing short of pure agony listening to this woman go on and on. Panya wasn't exactly savy with what lingo most youths had these days, if this woman was indeed some misguided teenager, but she looked incredibly uncomfortable with being forced to experience this absolute brain rot. Her brain ached, if it could even do that, at every second syllable. Her mouth soon shot up against the cheerleader's mouth while the joy of silence would finally bless her. "Please...I can feel my brain cells dying like this. To answer your question, though, I did spin it." A tanned hand dug brought out her phone and display the weapon she got from the roulette wheel: a pumpkin shaped knife that did damage to plants and gave the owner an aroma of pumpkin spice. "I won this weapon from it. I take it that your current look was a prize as well?" She let go of the woman's mouth and she rambled on again. Pain. The information gathered was of interest. Panya couldn't not say that it was all worthless. So one of the prizes was a makeover that would make you into something akin to this? She made a mental note to never roll whatever result that would result in this. "Ah-I wish i could help, but I should really be somewhere el-"The woman grabbed her arm and begged her to try and help take this off of her. The archeologist tried to shake her off but only resulted in her getting closer and closer. Panya looked over at the strange creature behind her and considered her options. She could maybe out run this girl or threaten to smash her into a pulp with her sarcophagus. Maybe whatever would help her escape. The bookworm's brain was kicking into overdrive up until the girl had seemed to recognize one of the pictures of the Shinto Shrine from the brochures. Even in this ditzy state, she could recall the name of this? "Torii?" Panya asked. "You mean the red structural gates on this path?" she pointed to it inquisitively, fully showing the folder to this pastel colored nightmare her next goal. "I...er, "capped" these at one of the old information centers around the capital. I'm an archeologist, traveling around the world to uncover whatever secrets there may be that Earth-chan has uncovered as a result of the game starting. This was just one of my next stops I was reading on. Are you...familiar with the area?"Her opinion of this woman had begun to change. If she was familiar with some of the culture and such of the area, perhaps she could be useful... deedee lafey

Panya had noticed the other woman across from her, busy with some other kind of creature that was scribbling down notes...That was a human, wasn't it? She had never seen something so small before. Unless it was some strange bout of dwarfism caused some factors outside of Earth-chan's control, she didn't think humans could be so...tiny. The tanned woman waved back with a single hand and went back to her research before staring at what the now shouting woman was doing. They were clearly cheerleader exercises and rather inexperienced ones at that. But the problem came with they locked eyes while doing it. This was clearly not somebody doing mentally well enough for Panya to begin to try and diagnose. So she began to speedwalk out of the park in some vain effort to avoid an awkward situation. Her head was pressed against the folder in her hands as she moved the opposite direction. There was some distance between them, but it was no use. Panya could hear the footsteps behind her getting closer, even that shrill voice was shouting out towards her. It was no use, she was going to have to turn and face this little goblin of a woman. And so, Panya slowly turned around... "Y-Yes, can I help you?"Fear struck her heart. This was like every awkward moment in high school, coming back full force and attempting to assault her hearing directly. The woman was one package of a modern day lexicon wrapped in what was entirely too much pastel coloring for one person. "Can't we just...pretend this never happened? I'm rather busy, a-and I probably wouldn't be much help anyway."deedee lafey

"It feels nice to be back in someplace like this." Panya said happily, practically bouncing around at the prospect of being inside of another underground cavern. There must have been some kind of little discovery in these tunnels, wouldn't there? They couldn't be this empty and dangerous looking without holding something incredibly worth the trouble! Her tanned hands fell around the torch offered to her by Seere, the archeologist nodding with a happy expression. "Thank you. I'll be right behind you!" Despite the woman's abrasion to their previous acts of violence in the race, she was right at home in these dark tunnels. The torch in her hands shined its light around their surroundings. "So what did you hear was down here, Seere?"Panya asked Kurai's summon and their guide on this journey inside of the underground. The air was warmth and moist, with a hint of smoke and other artificial scents, courtesy of being close to Motor City, public enemy number one of the ozone layer. The amount of greenhouse emissions that place could put out in a day would put even the largest of cities to shame. "If it's never been discovered before, certainly there's bound to be some sort of historical find, ready to be brought to benefit the world!" Panya was anything but selfish, but of course, she was expecting Kurai to be 100% on board with the altruism speech and ready to hand over all of their discoveries to people who needed them. "Wait, I think I hear something up ahead. But I can't tell what that is..."kurai

Panya had been walking around the park while reading from a manilla folder about another location around Seoul that had caught her eye. Some long hidden shrine that was said to be a gateway into the world of the dokkabei, nature spirits that were said to hold extraordinary powers, often to torment humans that lived nearby. The pull of the paranormal had always been something that drew Panya's eye, so this was more than some kind of treat for her. In her other hand was a cup of coffee, dark roasted and brewed to perfection. Her tongue was already swimming in the bitter tasting delight when a woman caught her eye from afar. She was dressed in a sort of elegant dress and jacket, looking like she was the mean stepmother pulled out of a children's story. But she was frantic and almost shouting. "Peculiar." Panya said as she watched on. Those terminals up did mean that she was in her inventory for some reason, but it didn't seem too concerning for her. The archeologist just continued on her way and walked on. More important things to keep her attention focused on, after all! Those mysteries of the world weren't going to just solve themselves, after all! Panya looked back down towards the folder in her hand while flipping through some of the brochures and things that had been tossed away, all of them showcasing the area of the shrine that interested her most: the gateway to the other world. If Earth-chan had mainly been able to pull some mythology so willy nilly for its encounters, then this would be a fantastic way to venture into their world and search for something that could change the lives of the people here. If only if- The sudden shrill voice caught her ears as she looked over back to the woman from before. She was expecting to see her doing...something, but not what greeted her sight. Instead of a woman dressed in wealthy clothing, she was now wearing the garb of a cheerleader, with entirely way too much pink plastered on her for her own good. But more importantly, her speech had changed as well. It was filled with the slang and lingo of somebody who clearly hadn't finished highschool, and the shrill volume was a pain to her. Yet Panya couldn't help but stare in confusion, her attention from her case ripped from her. deedeelafey
