”Maaaan, I wish I’d’ve gotten a sick dragon like that!” [break][break]
In her seemingly endless search for her brother, Argent had gotten to visit many wild and unique places. When they were little, it had always felt like she had some kind of radar to know where he was, but despite everywhere she’s been… nothing. [break][break]
She wasn’t going to give up hope though, not by a longshot. Argent was gonna keep on pressing on and conquering whatever the world threw her way, and make it all the way to the top if she had to in order to find Auri. He just had to be out there somewhere, and now more than ever she had an inkling of where to search. [break][break]
”You got one of these too, yea?” When a random key had presented itself to her, Argent happily yoinked it. She assumed it was related to some kind of quest, but only after reading the actual quest did she realize the scope of it. ”Ah, of course you did! Seems like everyone’s got one.”[break][break]
With this being a quest delivered to people all across the world, one thing was certain: Getting to Ender Island would bring Argent one step closer to finding her twin! [break][break]
Now, it was just a matter of finding a boat. Argent came to what seemed to be the right place to get to the island. The docks had an interesting group of people, some waiting, some warning others, and a bunch of merchants peddling shoddy goods. One shop stuck out to Argent above the others, however.[break][break]
A Tomato Stand was certainly an… odd choice for a place like this, but even more curious was the person behind it. Argent had no idea what kind of class this woman was, but she had a little dragon AND her own cute little monster standing guard beside her.[break][break]
”So, what’s a tomato merchant like you doing in a place like this? If I had to guess, I’d say you’re waiting for a ride.” Argent stretched her hands behind her head before shoving her fingers into the pockets of her jacket. This woman definitely seemed like she was here for more than just to peddle tomatoes, and if she was trying to get to the island too, well…[break][break]
”Why don’t you tag along? I’m needa get to the island, and I couldn’t complain about someone tagging along. ESPECIALLY someone with such cool friends!” Argent felt like she had little stars in her eyes as she was dazzled by the little dragon. SO CUTE![break][break]
The horn of a boat drew her attention away, signaling that the best time to head out was sooner rather than later. ”AYYY SOUNDS LIKE OUR RIDE!”[break][break]

”What?!” The icey armor completely stopped Argent’s attack from hitting the boss, and now that she was right next to it, the monster had no plans of letting her escape. It hit her point blank with another beam of bubbles- an attack that usually would be weak, but was basically a shotgun from this range. The woman flew across the room and slammed into the wall behind her.
”D-damnit..!” As she struggled back up to her feet, Argent wasn’t disheartened by this failure. No, instead, she had a new fire of determination fill her eyes. She had tried to think of some kind of advice Auri had given her in the past that might help her come out on top in this situation, but now, it was something else that came to mind.
Instead of something he told her, Argent remembered a conversation she had with her twin. He had been disheartened about something that she couldn’t even remember anymore, but she was able to reconcile him with one fact. ”You think I’m done?! Failure doesn’t mean it’s over, it just means I have more experience to learn from! I don’t make the same mistakes twice!”
Argent ran across the room as the Boss followed her with a beam of bubbles. She only barely managed to duck out of the way of the attack, sliding over an earlier puddle to move out of the way and reclaim her Lance. Her dagger wasn’t even able to scratch the monster, but her lance…
”EAT SHIT!” Argent hopped up onto the desk in the room and tossed her lance at the slime from in the air. The slime hopped to the side to dodge the attack, so Argent used the silk strand to reel the weapon in again–only this time, instead of bringing the lance to her, she zipped herself to the lance! The slime showed a look of surprise as she spun, twisting the lance around her to slap the slime with it. Only the tip of her attack managed to land, but with the DEF-ignoring attribute of that attack, a small crack had appeared in the boss’ armor.
Argent immediately tossed her dagger at the crack. It hit the spot, but the crack wasn’t enough to pierce deeper into the slime and shatter its core. As it suddenly found itself next to argent, the boss ran away once more, leaving yet another puddle of slime behind it. ”Oh no you don’t!” Again, Argent used the puddle to her advantage, slamming her lance into the ground and pushing off of it to launch herself at the slime. ”DIDN’T YOU LEARN?!”
As flew toward the boss, she could see another layer of ice form around the outside of the monster. Only the handle of her dagger was sticking out now, completely stuck in the frozen slime. Exactly where Argent wanted it. ”PREDICTABLE!” Panic formed on the boss’ face as the woman grabbed the handle of her weapon. Her sorcerer’s pendant glowed as it came off cooldown and was immediately used for another attack. ”MOOONLIGHT CRAAASH!”
The tip of her dagger glowed from within the ice, as it suddenly fired off two boosted, DEF-ignoring lasers deep within the ice. Argent could see the light of her attack pierce through the other side of the boss, and after a moment of suspense-
The ice shattered.
[DEN CLEARED]
[Now Ejecting…]
”Goddamn. Good fight, slime thing… But you BETTER not pop up again! I swear, if I EVER hear about your piece of sh-” With a flash of light, Argent was teleported out of the Monster Den.

As the heat of the red slime completely surrounded Argent, she could feel her body starting to burn. The pain lasted only a moment, however, as the end of her dagger was now embedded in the monster’s core. The slime suddenly dropped her back to the ground as it poofed away, defeated. Her lance clattered a few feet away, something Argent made sure to scoop up as she ran into the elevator to head to the final level.
”This one’s going to be a pain in the ass, but with how long it's been…” Argent held her hands out in front of her, watching as her body changed to its semi-invisible form. She felt her actions speed up as her passive activated from the new phase. She was as ready as she’d ever be, so with a slap on the cheeks for encouragement, Argent pressed the blue button.
The ride was the same length as the others, but she could feel anticipation swelling within her as the elevator moved up. Once more, the *Ding!* sounded as the doors slid open. Opposite to the previous room, this one was blue and chilly. There was a single managerial desk in the center of the room, with a large painting of a slime on the wall behind it. A chair was spun the opposite way around, but began to spin as Argent entered the room.
[Melody Slime Den]
[Objective: Defeat The Boss]
A blue slime wearing a crown hopped up onto the desk as it spun its chair around. ”So you’re the one in charge of all this, huh? Well, no more! Prepare to face your doom!!” Argent cringed as soon as the words left her mouth, but she didn’t plan to waste any time here. Her Lance flew forward once more as she tossed it toward the boss. Unlike the previous slimes that simply let her attacks slide through them, this one actually moved itself out of the way of her attack.
She reeled her lance back once more with the item’s ability just as the slime released its own attack. A beam of bubbles flew at Argent from across the room. They were small and easy to avoid a couple at a time. With how many there were, however, she still managed to get nicked by some of them.
Argent ran towards the monster, hoping to get close enough to stab its core, but it moved out of the way once more. This time it left behind a cloud of slime in its wake, an ability that caused the woman to slip and slide into the wall. ”Little shit!” She had to think strategically here… twice now it had avoided her attacks. She had a feeling it would only continue to avoid her ranged attacks, meaning she would need to find a way to get close to actually stab at it.
Both her slashing abilities were still on cooldown, and with the pendant also on CD, she couldn’t pull another trick like she had with the winged slime. ”Think RG, think!” The boss shot another beam of bubbles at her, showing that it wasn’t gonna just sit around and wait for her to think. She dove behind the desk to let it get beat up in her stead, before finally coming up with an idea.
Once the beam of bubbles relented, Argent immediately jumped out and charged the slime. It dodged again and left another trail in its wake–exactly what the assassin had hoped it would do. Expecting a puddle to be created, Argent stabbed her lance into the ground, using it to pivot to change direction as she slid across the puddle for a boost. ”EAT SHIT!” Having launched herself at the boss, Argent raised her dagger to slice it right through the core.
The slime, right as Argent reached it, turned its entire body to ice in retaliation, causing her attack to harmless bounce off.

Back on the inside of the elevator, Argent noticed something she hadn’t before. The three buttons for the three levels of this tower crawl were color-coded. The one she was on now was green, but had gone dull. The remaining two buttons were Red and Blue respectively. ”Hmm… if that was a Shelter level, then these must be for Gift and Melody anchors, yeah? Then that means…” Slamming her button down on the Red button, the elevator began to move again.
When the doors opened to the next level, Argent was immediately met with a wave of heat. She stepped into the room, noticing a couple of red emergency lights beaming down for some ominous lighting. Large vents hummed from across the room, seemingly from heaters that were cranking up the heat in here.
[Gift Slime Den]
[Objective: Defeat both enemies]
”LET’S GOO I WAS RIGHT!” Her assumption about the anchors being color-coded was correct, meaning that this level would have some Gift enemies. Since her Lunar Assassin class was also a Gift based class, that meant that she and the enemies would be neutral to each other. If there were only two here, this level should be a breeze!
The two slimes for this level emanated a light glow as they spawned in. Both were red with a core inside that looked like solid-lava, but one had little fairy wings while the other was much bigger and had a massive jaw. ”Let’s dance!”
The bigger slime charged at Argent as the woman did the same, aiming her lance to stab straight through it and crush its core. As she did so, however, the slime crushed down its maw, biting on her lance to hold it in place. ”What the?! HEY!” She tugged to try and get the weapon back, but as she did that, the other slime flew into action.
It spat a fireball out from its mouth, something that Argent moved to dodge–but the fireball wasn’t headed her way. Instead it collided with the bigger of the two slimes, causing it to get a noticeable amount bigger. ”Oh, so you got a support buddy, huh?!” This made things a bit more complicated. She could attack this slime with her dagger, but she really needed to get the other one first. Argent knew if she did that, though, that the bigger slime would take advantage and be able to attack her. She couldn’t throw her dagger here either; without the lance, that would make her almost defenseless!
Argent leapt back as the big slime chomped at her. Just because this was a tricky situation, didn’t mean there wasn’t away out of it. That damned sorcerer slime was such a pain for her, so she needed to deal with it first. Think… think… ”BINGO!” Flipping her dagger around in her hand, Argent strifed to the side a little, angling her attack before SLASHING at the massive slime’s face. ”HYAH!” …Completely missing the monster’s core.
As she swung, however, Argent activated the ability of the sorcerer’s pendant that swung around her neck. Her slash missed the core of the bigger slime, but the added laser beam that followed the attack went straight through the oozing body of the monster–and straight into the core of the winged slime behind it.
Without the risk of exposing herself to another enemy, Argent gave her full attention to the remaining slime. She ran around the big monster, using its massive size to her advantage to place herself right behind it. ”Crescent Slash!”
That attack, with the bonus damage for attacking the monster from behind, sliced the monster cleanly in half. Seeing the gap between its sides as an opportunity, Argent leapt in between the towers of red-hot slime. Just as the slime began to seal itself together again, she reached its core. It was a race against time as she plunged her dagger into the monster’s life-source… right as she became completely enveloped by the slime.

Pushing through an upturned stack of chairs to enter the building, Argent was a little surprised to find herself in a lobby of some kind, with only a sole elevator sitting across the room from her. Another of the little grey slimes was up the wall sitting on the controls… ick. ”You’re such a pain for that one, why did you have to go on the BUTTONS! THAT’S SO GROSSS!” She used her lance to bat the monster off of the wall, not wanting to touch it for herself.
As the slime fell, its core rolled out of its body. She could see the actual OOZE of the slime started to be attracted back towards the sphere, so quickly stomped on it to crush it. ”Oh no you don’t!” As the core shattered, once again the slime poofed away. Well, at least she knew what she had to do to beat these things now. Seeing that it was the only option, Argent faced the elevator and pushed the button to summon it.
The doors opened instantly, already prepared for their traveler. The inside had a very campy Elevator jingle playing, and a panel that showed three more floors. ”Ooh, okay, I get it. So this is like a tower crawl, huh? Alright then, I’ll play your game! Take me to the first level!” Argent slammed her fingers down on the button, causing the machine to hum to life.
Upon arrival, the doors opened with a distinctive *Ding!* This room was wider than the last one, and had a lot of plants scattered about and bursting through the windows. Argent stepped through the doors, facing a system pop up as she did so.
[Shelter Slime Den]
[Objective: Defeat all enemies]
Shelter Slime? Sure enough, as soon as she clicked off of the pop up, a group of brown slimes covered with moss on top appeared in the room, five all together. ”Oh shit okay,” Argent brushed her hair back and took up a combat stance with her lance. ”Let’s do this!”
Argent ran into the room, tossing her lance at one of the slimes. It stabbed harmlessly through the monster at first, but Argent then activated the weapon’s ability: using a thin silk string attached to the lance, she plucked it back to her, once again spearing through the slime. This time the attack managed to swipe the core on its way back, shattering through it with another POOF!
”That’s right, this Lance can ignore DEF! Get some!” Though they surely were already planning on it, the rest of the slimes swarmed Argent. One of them stayed back and shot a rock out of its mouth at her, something she ducked down to avoid as the rest of them reached her. They definitely seemed made and tried to headbutt her, something she retaliated against with her Lance. ”Relentless Slash!”
With the skill active, her piercing weapon was now a slashing one, something she immediately used to her advantage. In quick succession, she swiped at each of the three slimes, slashing straight through each of their cores. Argent was a DPS, so she was used to dealing a lot of damage… but here, it seemed like she was way more effective than usual. ”Oh! This isn’t a slime shelter…”
The remaining slime looked panicked, but shot another rock at the Lunar Assassin. She drew and tossed her dagger towards the monster, its blade slicing right through the rock and into the slime’s core. ”This is a den for SHELTER Slimes! Anchor advantage baby! I get it now!” With all the slimes defeated, Argent plucked her her knife from the shattered core and entered the Elevator once more.

[ E-Rank Mission: Growing Concern ]The streets were empty. Trash covered them, and there was an old busted up car every now and again. But they were empty. Plant-life had long since taken root here in the concrete jungle that was New York, with many more trees and vines crawling across the landscape than EVER had before- with the exception of before it was settled, of course. Argent scratched the back of her head as she walked through the abandoned street. The mission brief had said that monsters had taken root here, but she had no idea just where they were. With supposedly a den being somewhere in the area, it was only a matter of time before she found it, right? She sighed, taking out her phone to reread the information that had been given to her. A raindrop fell across her screen as she started going through it. ”Mhm. Ayup. That’s Right. Yeeeeup. What the hell man, this is supposed to be the spot!” She stomped her feet in frustration, taking a look around one more time to see if any monsters were around. Of course, there were none, just a nice clear sky and empty buildings as far as the eye could see. It was almost as if- ”WAAAIT!””Rewind! If there’s no clouds out here, then what…” Slowly tilting her head upward, Argent was met with the sight of a little grey slime oozing its way along the street sign. ”Wh- where the hell did you come from?!” It was too high up for her to reach with just her dagger alone, so she unstrapped the Spider Lancer from her back and stabbed the little monster with a hop into the air. It didn’t defeat the monster, but knocked it down onto the ground. With a body like that, her slashes wouldn’t be so effective. ”Alright you lil’ shit, you gotta have a weakpoint somewhere…” Circling around the ooze, Argent noticed a little, faintly glowing sphere suspended inside of it. Hazarding a guess, she lunged again with her lance. Sure enough, as the point of her weapon stabbed through the core, the rest of the slime poofed away. ”Aha, so THAT’S what I needa look out for! But where…” Looking back to the sign the ooze had been on top of before, Argent noticed a faint trail leading into one of the nearby buildings. ”Oh thank god I thought I would’ve been searching forever.” With her lance slung over her shoulder, the woman shoved the door open and made her way inside.

”-OUT BELOW AAAAAA” The portal SLAMMED shut just as Argent went through it, her sled scrapping against the cobblestones of the road of the safezone. A decent amount of snow managed to follow her through the portal, cascading over a small portion of the road in a sudden flurry. The rapidness of how it went down would’ve made anyone think they had time-traveled to winter if any on-lookers happened to have blinked in that moment!
”OH MY GOD!” Argent marched up to the ice cream stall that started the mission. The man behind the booth stood slack-jawed at the sight, along with a kid that was in the middle of getting his scoop. ”That. Was.” Argent’s face went through a whole range of emotions as she tried to find the right words to express herself. ”AMAZING!”
”First it was like BOOM then it was like POW and we raced it was like KACHOW and SKIRRRRT but i was like SHLING and then-” Getting ahead of herself, Argent quickly brushed off some snow and pointed back over her shoulder. ”Uh, right, anyways. I got your Ice! Here, look!” She went to drag the sled over, plopping it down right beside the stall for the man to see what a good job she did.
”See?? It even looks like a heart! Another job well done in my book, GG RG!”
Man, Argent really wished her brother had been there with her to see it. She giggled as she thought about just how much he would’ve SCREAMED. Deep down, she knew it was something he would’ve enjoyed. Maybe one day when they met up again, she could take the mission on again, together. Looking at the line starting to form at the man’s stall from the spectacle of all this, it definitely seemed like he would be needing more ice in the future!
”Oh and uh, now that I’m finally out of that FREEZING weather… got anymore of the spongebob pops?”

As Argent yelled out her excitement, she felt the mountain begin to change. Risking a glance behind her, she was met with the sight of snow from an area above her starting to slip down the mountainside–the same side she was on.
”OOP! BIG OOP! GO GO GO!”
She kicked and wiggled the sled until it started to teeter over the edge, until she finally gave it the heave it needed to start sliding down. Hopping on as the sled started to pick up speed, Argent took another glance behind her. With luck, the snow would’ve settled and not gotten far, but if she wasn’t so lucky… ”AVALANCHE!!!”
The gust blowing down the mountain from behind helped to send her sled into overdrive, rushing down the mountain like a car in a race. Even with the boost of speed though, she could already see snow starting to cascade down beside her. ”SHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT- TREE!” Though the avalanche of snow behind her was terrifying, it wasn’t the only problem Argent faced. With the path she was on, her sled was only seconds away from hitting a tree!
”TURNTURNTURNTURNTURN!” As she HEAVED and TUGGED at the makeshift reins of her sled, Argent was only BARELY able to avoid the tree. ”PHEW- FUCK!” She had moved out of the path of that first tree, but directly into the path of another!! There wasn’t enough time for her to dodge this one, so she had to resort to other methods.
”CRESCENT SLASH!” Half in a panic, the Lunar Assassin took her knife once more to slash at the tree. Ordinarily her slashes wouldn’t have been able to reach so far, with the added range effect of her [Sorcerer’s Pendant], the laser-imbued slash managed to cut the tree JUST IN TIME. The log flew in the air above her as she ducked down, the stump of the tree working as a little ramp to give her a bit of air time.
With the Branches of the tree now out of the way, Argent could see that she and her ice chunk were flying STRAIGHT towards the portal. ”OH SHIT LOOK-”

Right when she had just about cut the Heart-shaped chunk of ice out of the glacier, Argent stopped to prepare some more. With as BIG of a lump as this was, she didn’t want to have to lug it around… which was why she brought a sled with her, dragging it allll the way up the mountain behind her. It had been a pain to bring it with her, but now her effort was finally paying its dividends.
Aligning the sled to be right under the spot she was carving, Argent finally slashed out the final little corner of the ice block. At first it just kinda sat there in its shelf, before finally starting to teeter. ”C’mon… you can do it…” It was almost taunting in the way it shook, but with another HEAVE from the woman, the ice finally toppled over. ”Finally!”
With the heart-ice on the sled, all Argent had left to do was tie it up and run it back down the mountain. She had brought the bindings needed to keep the ice from falling off, a nice and thick couple of strands of rope. As she got to work with the bulky thing, it turned out that the heart-shape of the chunk was actually working in her favor; tying it up was hardly a problem at all!
Now Argent faced her next issue… getting it down. ”Hmm…” With her trusty Spyglass in hand once more, Argent dragged her sled back to the edge of the slope. The extra range her spyglass provided gave her just enough vision to see the portal she came from waiting down at the bottom. It was almost a straight-shot, give or take a couple of trees in the way.
Guiding it down from behind wouldn’t be too much of an issue, she would just have to keep it from slipping out of her hands. Thankfully though, Argent had an even better idea. Instead of pulling or pushing it, she… hopped right on top! ”THAT’S RIGHT BITCHES I’M SMART AS SHIT!”

Now that she had a concrete target in mind, Argent found herself excited once more. She hurried over to the spot she needed to carve into, Letting her sled set beside her as she picked up the hacksaw. ”Alright… you’re mine now!”
Argent brought the saw to the ice, ready to start carving out her piece- only, with how cold it was up here, it seemed to not want to cut. ”Are you shitting me?! C’mon you piece of-” With another slash at the glacier, the hacksaw was so uncooperative that it BOUNCED out of her hands and went tumbling down the mountainside.
”You’ve got to be joking right now..!” Frustrated, the woman kicked a heap of snow aside, pacing for a moment before coming back to the same spot. ”Fine then, you don’t wanna cooperate? We’ll do this MY way!” Her trusty Lunar Dagger glinted as she raised it in the air, assuming her typical combat position.
”Relentless Slash!” A trail followed her blade as her body moved for her; a duo of slashes hit the ice, carving out a V shape right where she had been aiming at. Only two slashes this time, huh? Annoying… ”But at least I have a start now!” Since she thankfully didn’t have to worry about her Dagger chipping or breaking away, Argent went to work again, starting the slow process of carving out a good chunk of ice for the mission.
She had kinda meant to make that first cut a bit more of a square, but that was okay- since she already had the bottom started, Argent slashed out a block of ice in the shape of a heart!

[ D-Rank Mission: Beware The Frozen Heart ]"UGHHHHUH" Argent gave another heave, pulling her sled off the bump it had caught onto. All this snow had been cute at first, but now? It was getting kind of annoying. I mean, she had gotten some big boots and a nice, fluffy coat just to come alllll the way up to the north pole for a mission, but- ”WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO GODDAMN COLD!”Some of the snow-covered trees shook at her complaints, something that quickly shut her up. ”oop.” At least this wasn’t too much of a complicated mission, just climb up the slope to get some glacier ice, but mannnn was it exhausting to get all the way up here. She could totally see now why this was an actual mission; it’s no wonder the guy didn’t wanna collect it himself! Once she FINALLY managed to reach the top, she took a look around for the ice in question. This was another thing that she had thought was going to be easy at first, but it turns out trying to spot a specific spot of ice is kinda hard when LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS ICE! She groaned and pulled out one of her newer items from her inventory. With her shiny new golden Spyglass in hand (it was shiny and was in-fact quite dull), Argent expanded the item and peered through its sight to try and find what she was looking for. This was her first time using an item like this, and despite how old the thing looked she was surprised at how well it worked. Having the clarity of the item to help her, it only took a moment to spot the area on the side of the glacier that had already been carved through. ”There you are…”

”W-woah! That one looks a bit stronger-” For a new spider to suddenly burst out and yoink up Emir, Argent couldn’t say she wasn’t caught off guard. He didn’t look like he was phased by it though, Even managing to toss out an attack to the big monster and stun it, giving an opportunity for Hana and Argent to wail on it. ”Alright!”[break][break]
Using that fancy guitar of hers, Hana blasted the bug, knocking it down with a loud wail. Was that just another item she had, or was perhaps that what her class could do? A star, like a famous musician? It made sense! [break][break]
With the spider on its back, Argent leapt to action once more. Avoiding the nasty ground here was annoying, but workable. She activated her heart bracelet once more as she moved towards the spider, giving her another power boost. With that, the party buff, and her invisibility, this spider was in for a world of hurt. [break][break]
Reaching it, Argent immediately started things off with her Relentless Slash, swiping across the spider’s abdomen for… only one hit. ”Tch!” Maybe luck wasn’t on her side for that one, but she swiped at the creature again with her knife, the two hits forming an X on the monster. She didn’t get as many hits as she’d have liked, but it was still a good use of her buffs![break][break]

The darkness and tendrils under Emir’s command made a little bit of sense to Argent. There was definitely some kind of theme going on there, even if she couldn’t place her finger on it. With Hana, however, Argent didn’t really know what to think. Guitars, size-changing, NINJA STARS- it was like she could do anything! [break][break]
Thanks to the combined efforts of all three of them against this spider, including Emir taking out the fodder, the arachnid was reduced to dust. ”Woo, that’s what I-” Argent paused to stab her knife at another big ol’ rat crawling out of a crack, but thankfully it seemed to be just more of the fodder. ”That’s what I’m talkin’ about! This party thing really isn’t so bad, huh?”[break][break]
”Thanks for the compliments, I’d say I’m taking to this stuff pretty well. Honestly, Argent thanked her time running around being a hooligan for how well she was pulling through here, that and the games she’d play in her free time. It was a “waste of time” to snobs like the people her parents hung around, but look at her now! So much of that knowledge had carried over! [break][break]
”I’m not on you guy’s level yet, but I’m getting there…” Fighting against these creepy-crawlies had taken enough time for Argent’s moon phase to advance, causing her body to gain a glint of transparency as her [Partial Invisibility] effect activated, along with the speed buff it granted thanks to her Passive. ”...and the things I CAN do, I have a pretty good handle on!”[break][break]

”O-Oh, you’re back!” Argent was a little surprised to see Emir pop up again; she knew realistically that he’d have been nearby, but wasn’t expecting him to pop up like that- though honestly, that was probably how it was when she used her stealth.[break][break]
Hana was gonna help Argent take out this big spider while Emir took out the rest of the mobs… and he seemed like he was gonna do a pretty good job of it! Argent hadn’t met many people yet with Area of Effect attacks, but that was exactly the sort of thing that would help a group survive here. She was especially glad now that she had gotten to meet up with this group. [break][break]
”A clear shot, huh?” The blade of her knife had lodged itself into the spider’s side, so she ran past it and grabbed the blade. The spider slashed at her along the way, glancing a blow across her– but with the bonus to VIT Argent had from her Moon Phase, it barely felt like a scratch.[break][break]
With blade in hand, Argent slid around the arachnid, getting behind it so that she could pull off her new favorite combo. ”Hyup!” Slashing a vertical line across the spider, she activated Crescent Slash, and empowered it with her Sorcerer’s Pendant. Hana had her own way of fighting, and together this spider wasn’t gonna last long at all![break][break]
Attacking it from behind meant that she got the empowered version of the ability, and with the item it was even stronger, essentially allowing her to slice at the monster with an enhanced laser-beam attack. To make things even better, something about fighting with Hana made Argent feel like her attacks were even STRONGER than before.[break][break]
